Jeff walked into the dinning room wearing a new suit that was finer than anything he had ever owned in his life. He saw that both Michael and Kyle had already arrived in dress uniforms. The door opened and he saw the younger of his two daughters come in. He had missed her so much. She looked so much like her mother.
"Serena?" Asked Jeff
Serena turned and looked at her father.
"Dad?"
Jeff wrapped his arms around his daughter. Serena hugged her father back.
"I missed you dad."
"Missed you to honey. You doing OK? What about your sister?"
"I doing good. Liz, she is doing better. It was a little rough when I first got here. But I think it will be best if she explains what was going on."
"The prince isn't miss treating her is he?"
"Trust me dad Liz isn't doing anything with the prince she doesn't want to do."
"She is telling you the truth dad."
Jeff turned to see Liz enter the room looking more like a princess then a poor farm girl turned slave. Liz smiled and pushed a strand of her hair back. That was when he noticed that she was no longer wearing the slave bans.
"Lizzie? He freed you?" Asked Jeff
"Yes. He has also asked me to marry him. I told him yes." Said Liz
"That is wonderful sweetie. We will need to talk to more later OK?"
"Yes dad."
Liz gave him a hug. Max and Isabel came in. Max walked right over To Liz and placed a kiss on her cheek. He then turned to Jeff.
"Welcome to the palace Mr. Parker." Said Max
"It is an honor to be here my prince." Said Jeff with a bow
It was then that King Philip and Queen Diane came in. Everyone sat at the table. It was during the meal that Liz picked up her glass and was hit with a vision.
The King picked up his glass that had just been refilled by the blond blue eyed maid. He took a sip and fell over dead.
It caught Liz by surprise. It was the first clear vision she had had since this new power developed. She then saw the maid refill the King's glass. He reached for the glass and Liz knew that she had to say something.
"My King, please don't drink that." Said Liz
Philip looked at Liz and saw fear in her eyes.
"Miss Parker, what did you see?" Asked Philip placing the glass down.
"I saw you drink from that glass and die." Said Liz
"Take this and have it tested." Said Philip to one of the guards.
"Liz, is there more?" Asked Max
"I can't be sure but I think that one maid has something to do with it." Said Liz
"Which one?" Demanded Michael
"That young blond one. With the blue eyes." Said Liz
"Captain have her locked in her room until we find out what is in that glass." Ordered Philip
"Yes sire!"
Michael got up and dragged the maid off to her room and placed two guards on the door. Jeff looked at his older daughter in shock.
"Could someone please tell me what is going on?" Asked Jeff
"Liz, has mom gift of the seer dad." Said Serena
Jeff was speachless. He had hoped neither of the girls had ever gotten that power.
