The Evans and Parkers are close knit families. 15 year old Liz Parker and 18 year old Max Walker fall in love but Max enrolls to the army promising to return when Liz turns 18. After a year without any letters from Max, Liz gives up hope. Now Liz is 18 and when Max returns he finds her in the arms of his half brother.
