Welcome Begonia9508 :D

I totally agree with you. I think we appreciate Roswell and the

relationships represented on the show (Max&Liz for me too) because

we've lived long enough to experience those heady teenaged times,

learn from them and move on with the belief that love and romance

don't diminish as we age, they just become more meaningful.

Taking a sit-down break between batches of cookies.

Well, way back when I first learned to love reading for reading's sake girls weren't *supposed* to read science fiction but I LOVED it. I felt like I had to hide it though. So the boys hid their girlie magazines and I hid my sci-fi books... ;-)

Don't know if this attitude was because of my (extremely) small town or because of something my little girl mind interpreted on its own. Who knows and it's been too long ago to matter. I still grew up loving science fiction. I think girls now-a-days are more free to be open with their interests and more power to them!

Cookie buzzer calling me...

Merry Christmas.

Hm, I think I can say that my husband is a lot like Alex. He's in computers, he's romantic and very understanding *sigh*

In Roswell I'm mostly drawn to Michael , but I can't explain why. I could imagine that he is still a little bit an outsider in my age - if he would have a family, he would be overprotective

I think I was mostly like Liz - very in books

merry christmas to all of you :D

Yeah, sorry but I didn't answered your questions!... Christmas stress!

So back to question:

1. Never meet someone like them!

2. Dreamer at heart it's Max 100%..... but the one of season one bc the one from season 2 is just a clone!! Max season 1 will be one fine man with 50, the one all the young ladies look at!

3. Liz certainly! She is just the one I feel more and understand her way of thinking!... she is a responsible and caracter strong woman - doing what has to be done even if its painful...

Hope to have answered! EVE

Thanks for your responses :D 8)

Now, I think it's time for me to answer my own questions

1. Did you ever have a Max, Michael, Kyle or Alex (Liz, Maria,Isabel)
in your life romantically at one time? Describe the experience.
In my twenties I fell in love with a Max/Michael combo (if you can
believe that  ) He was romantic and caring like Max, but in time
like Michael he became scatter brained and in-considerate. I have to
say that it was the Max like qualities that kept me emotionally involved
longer than I should have been.
(Oh well, you live and learn) :)

2. Which Roswell character are you drawn to and why? How do you think
this character would age and develop at the age you are now?
I have to say that for obvious reasons expressed above, that I am
totally drawn to Max. Even though he made alot of mistakes, deep
down I alway knew that he meant well. I find that very attractive.
As a forty year old I would hope that Max would have learned to stop
carrying the problems of the world on his shoulder and let his
significant other (Always Liz for me) help him navigate his way through
life.

3.Which Roswell character (male/female) do you think you were most like
in your teens? Explain your answer.
In My teens I think I was more a combination Liz/Maria. I wasn't a brain like Liz, but I did ok. I felt like a "small town girl" in a big city. Like Maria, I had a quirky sense of style(it took me a while to find my current casual/conservative style)
