Plot Summary:
A war has ended, two kingdoms are still trying to repair themselves and a new enemy has begun to move from another planet. At the same time, a diplomat from another planet has come to begin talks of an alliance with both Antarian kingdoms and offer their aid in assisting with the rebuilding.

Will they get the alliance they'll need in order to stop this new enemy in time? Or will something tragic happen before the alliance is formed that could tear the world apart once again but this time as a whole?


Antar (Written by Anna)

Antar only had one kingdom called Fortuna. It was a peaceful country until two best friends had a row with each other and made two different kingdoms called Natori and Matai, named by their creators. There was a war between the two countries, but after both kings died and new kings were elected they ended the war. The kingdoms, however, did not merge back to the original one the separated from.

There was ninety years, until Natori selected a tyrant king. The other kingdom did not think this king was a right selection so the kingdoms started a war again. Natori's King died and 18 years old Kyle was selected as the new king. Matai did not want to continue the war, so he retired and Max became the King. Max and Kyle made a deal and peace between the countries was once again secured.

The two Kingdoms

Natori is ruled by King Kyle. He was chosen to become the King after his parents died in a war. Kyle has a sister, Liz, who wasn't trusted to be the ruler, even if she's older than Kyle. Natori has been ruled by a King for one hundred years and the kingdom elders didn't want to break that. Kyle's way of ruling is still unsure. His father was a tyrant type, but Kyle doesn't feel the need to be like that with his people. He wants to change the way of ruling, but he's really unsure of what he can do. That's why Kyle sometimes seems a bit cold with the people of Natori but he's actually just thinking about the right way of doing things.

Matai is ruled by King Max. He, like Kyle, has a sister as well, but they're twins so Max was chosen as the ruler because most of the elders voted for him. Max has a Queen by his side, named Tess. His ruling style is a democratic society, where he lets people to say their opinion about things that are important. Sometimes he likes to turn small and unimportant opinions down because he feels like his people are trying to decide everything in the county. Max appears to be a good king even if he sometimes wished he could rule the country better. Matai elders are happy with him, though and that's enough for Max.

About powers

Only few have powers when they are born. Naturally all the royals have, but also their servants have powers (that it the reason they're in the palaces). Servants don't have any special powers, only some small useful stuff (like changing shapes of items, moving ojects with will power, etc.)

Lythar (Written by Storm)

Close your eyes and try to imagine a land filled with stunning color as plants and trees of all kinds grow, animals of all types prowl through the lands and coincide with the people of the area. Everything is peaceful, and yet excitement fills your veins as you realize that these people are unlike many in other realms. They seem to follow a strict code of behavior, though some seem to go against that code rashly. Above you in the sky you see swirls of light blue and purple color, yet strangely, there seems to be no sun but there are seven moons above that show whether night or day. Even though there appeared to be no sun, the days still lit and heated while the nights were dark and cool.

Lakes and rivers could be found nearly everywhere and several waterfalls were seen to have rainbows in the mist created by the dropping water. Many of the buildings in the towns were crafted from what appeared to be alabastar or some from crystal. The sounds of children playing and men laughing while women chatter on can be heard from many area's. Music plays from a flute that seems to reach into your soul and draw you nearer to the one who play's.

There before you is a woman with ivory wings, silver hair, entrancing silver orbs and a soft smile. The planet of Lythar is one of magic. Most of those that live there have special abilities that are gained from the planets own core which is vibrant in magical essence. However, only a rare few can do the things that the royal family can. Most are capable of only a light use of some element, one type only. Most are capable of minor spells taught in mages schools.

The ruling family: A queen is the ruler. If there is no woman in the ruling family, then the man has to wed before he can be crowned king and his wife becomes ruler.

The society: It is their way to have a council of thirteen members that act as advisors to the royal family. All of the council members are chosen by the people to serve for fifty years before the next election is held. The people of Lythar have long life spans due to something that they are bound with during birth, a special gem that is found only within the sacred pools of Lythar which are guarded by some of the royal guard. These guards are chosen personally by the Queen who overlooks them. It is only one of the royals that can touch these gems to remove them from the pools and hand them to the parents for the binding.

A special ritual can be done to remove the gems at which point the Lytharian would begin to age at the same rate as the person they involved in their ritual. In their society, they have mages and warriors that are chosen at a young age to study, while those not chosen end up being simple farmers and such. They are highly advanced technologically, however a visitor would never think so because their labs and other areas are hidden behind a magical barrier that only a Lythar can see unless they give someone an enchanted item. (imagine lands in the 12th century and that's how their world looks on the outside.)

It is not unknown for a Lytharian to travel to other worlds that they are allied with and settle down to make a new life with someone from another culture, thus the rituals of removing the gems has been done on numerous occassions, though never by a member of the royal family.

Ralin (Written by Storm)

Ralin is a world of power hungry tyrants, warriors and sadists. They are determined to take over their solar system and then eventually move further. Already they have destroyed seven worlds on their move through the system and now have targeted Antar. Their King, Khivar rules because of his strength and his power, with his second in command Nicholas who's strength and power is nearly equal. Together they enjoy the destruction they cause and the pain they give out to others. Khivar has unusual tastes in things and has become wild with his strange passions, often taking some of the slaves and using them for his satisfaction.
Their society is simply one of barbarians in a manner, though they are advanced with technology that can be improved if they take over the right world.

Antar, with it's current technology seems to be ripe pickings and would greatly aid in their growth.

Max, Michael, Alex, Kyle

Natori Royals

Name: King Kyle
Age: 24
Family: Sister, Liz.
Powers: Telepathic empathy (the ability to not only read minds but feel the emotions from others)
Background: Kyle was born a year after his sister Liz. He was given lots of attention from the elders, because they were sure that the King would choose Kyle as the next King. After Natori and Matai way war started again, Kyle was taken to safety with his sister. At the age of 18 he was taken back to the kingdom and crowned as a king. He got lots of advices from the elders and Liz helped him in the side too. At the age of 20 Kyle found himself a servant called Percy. He had an interest to him at the first moment he saw him. Kyle is still looking for a Queen, but he’s not excited about getting one.
Personality: Kyle’s a calm person even if he may sometimes get angry at his servants at the palace. However, he can’t be mad at Percy, because he’s had a rough past. If he ever yells at Percy he always apologizes (that’s what making people wonder why). Kyle likes to think that he’s a complete opposite of his father, but he knows that’s not true. He has some tyrant sides in him, but he never lets them out, because he’s afraid it might cause another war. Kyle likes men, but doesn’t want to admit that.

Name: Duke Alex
Age: 25
Family: Only child of kingdom’s eldest couple
Powers: Affecting others emotions
Background: Alex was born into an important family and he was raised by the royals of the palace because of that. Alex’s powers showed when he was nine years old and ever since he’s been having troubles getting any girls. He’s famous, but he’s lonely. Sometimes Alex enjoys spending time with Kyle and his sister, Liz. So he has friends and when he was eighteen he met Duchess Maria and they’ve been almost like best friends ever since. Alex’s father is proud that Alex was made the Duke of Natori because of his outstanding powers and hopes that Alex and Maria would someday get married. Alex doesn’t want to spoil a friendship, so he never says Maria that his father is like that.
Personality: Alex is a bit of a joker. He likes to entertain his friends and make them happy by telling the latest rumours from the kingdom. He’s also shy when other kingdoms royalties (he gets really shy when Isabel arrives). He’s also calm and caring when it comes to looking after the ones he cares about. He’s the favourite son-in-law of every mother.

Matai Royals

Name: King Max
Age: 25
Family: He has a twin sister
Powers: Manipulating molecules and other show style normal powers

Background: Growing up in the palace, a Prince... he was taught everything he had to know in order to be ready to take over the throne. It wasn't really something he wanted, the responsibilty hanging over his head was going to be rough, but he would do whatever he had to do. His sister was his best-friend and meant everything to him as they were growing up. But, at the same time... during a ball he met Tess who was then simply a Lady, daughter to a Marquis. He also met the young Lord's Michael and Trevor. For some reason they simply all ended up getting along well as friends.

When Max was 16 he was informed that his father had made a marriage contract for him and Tess and they were to be wed when he was 17. The thought of marrying someone he didn't love was something that bothered him but he would do his duty. Come to find out, Tess had known since the contract had been made 3 years before.

They had been married barely a year and a half when his father decided to step down from the throne and Max was crowned. He was instantly thrust into a situation he wasn't ready for, but he did what he had to do. With Tess as his Queen they ruled as a team though his heart wasn't in his marriage.

Personality: Max is always brooding, trying to make certain that he's doing the right things for his kingdom and trying to make it seem as though he's happy with Tess.

Name: Duke Michael
Age: 25
Family: Younger brother of Trevor
Powers: Manipulating molecules and other show style normal powers
Special: Telekinetic blasting
Background: The second born, it was rare that there would be two of any given a title, but when Trevor gained the title of Duke after their father's death, the King had also decided to award Michael with a title for outstanding acts. He attends balls and other functions because it is expected of him, though he would prefer not to be out amongst crowds.
Personality: Michael has never been good at showing emotion, always keeping to himself whenever possible. He has a very big and caring heart but doesn't know how to show it. Something that carries over from how he was raised.

Trevor
Name: Duke Trevor
Age: 27
Family: older brother of Michael
Powers: Manipulating molecules and other show style normal powers
Special: Chameleonism
Background: First born, it was up to Trevor to learn all he had to about being a Duke. He was trained in all necessities despite the fact that he also liked to visit places of ill reputation. He met Tess, Isabel and Max all at once and was instantly taken with one of the women, but soon found out that she was out of his reach. This caused him to become even wilder with the women in the bordello's (whorehouses) and drinking.

Personality: Like Michael, Trevor doesn't know how to show emotions very well, but he certainly knows how to make it seem like he is. He's a charmer when he wishes to be and is even seen as being a player. He likes women and yet he hasn't found one worth sticking around for... at least... not one he'd admit he wanted to have stick around, simply because she's taken.

Natori - other

Percy
Name: Percy
Age: 22
Family: Orphan
Powers: He can only change item shapes.
Job: King Kyle's servant
Background: Percy was found from a forest when he was one year old. His parents were found a day after that, but they were dead. Percy was send to an orphanage where he grew up with his friends. At the age of eight he started to change item shapes. That's when he was moved to the special section of orphanage and he was all alone again since his friends were left behind. When Percy turned eighteen, King Kyle came to the orphanage to search for a servant. He saw Percy and the next day he was moved to the palace. At first Percy was really nervous about the new place he was in, but he got used to the place in a few weeks. From that day on he has been a servant for the King himself.
Personality: Percy is really shy. He often likes to hide behind Kyle when he has a chance. He's really calm and he's always doing everything perfectly (if he doesn't do that he'll redo it until he does). Percy never gets angry because he thinks he doesn't have a right to be angry. He's loyal to Kyle and follows him almost everywhere.

Travis
Name: Travis
Age: 30
Family: Father is an elder, mother is dead
Powers: He can only move objects with his will power.
Job: King Kyle’s Messenger
Background: Travis was raised by his father from the very beginning. He was raised to become something important for the next king and when he was eighteen it was clear that his job would be a messenger. Travis had good legs to travel long distance and he had a good memory so that if there was something important that couldn't be written he would remember it in his mind. He enjoys being a messenger since he sees lots of new places and gets to know lots of new people.
Personality: Travis has a bad temper sometimes. He may throw objects without even thinking and then apologize after. He has gotten several punishments from his father for breaking something important at the royal palace. Travis likes to think he’s a ladies man, but he’s still single. He also loves to make children happy at smaller towns but showing his powers.

Lythar

Raxar
Name: Prince Raxar
Age: 228
Appearance: Silver hair and eyes, though his eyes have an amber tint to them. His birthmark is a lightening bolt on his left cheek in a sky blue coloring. He stands nearly six foot and has slightly elongated ears, not quite as pointed as his sisters, though they are pointed. He is often found wearing only a pair of dark colored breeches and matching vest without an under shirt. He enjoys showing off his assets as much as he can, knowing that he looks good.

Background: Though he did not get the chance to be on the throne, Raxar doesn't feel anger toward his sister who has treated him fairly and still made him a part of bigger decisions. He is however, tiring of hiding the fact that he doesn't have a desire for women and knows eventually his sister will wish to wed him off to make an alliance with some distant royal house. For this, he is glad to be given the chance to go as her ambassador to other planets where he was able to simply be himself. Of course, often he had clandestine arrangements with others while he was doing what he was sent to do.

However, being sent to Antar, he wasn't certain how this arranging a marriage alliance for his sister was going to work.

Abilities: Shapeshifting like his sister, but he can also affect people's emotions with his voice when he so desires. One of the reasons why he enjoys singing. Other then that, he has slight ability to heal himself. Other gifts will be gained if ever he gains King status on his planet from which he will gain a crown similar to that which Danai wears.

Personality: He loves to laugh and have fun, joking around easily. Protective of his family, he is truly a force to be reckoned with if he ever hears of them being harmed. (Needless to say he didn't know what happened to Rae) He is a closeted lover of men to most, though Rae has learned his secret and kept it from Danai for him. The idea of marriage freaks him out especially when he's enjoying himself too much in his style of living.

Ralin

Khivar
Name: King Khivar
Age: 26
Family: He had 4 younger brothers and one older sister, but killed all of them when he took the throne. In fact, all of his family members save for his single cousin, Nicholas were killed when he became King. He did this in order to see to it that no one else took over.

Powers: He has the ability to control other's minds, make them feel and act the way he wishes. He can also send his thoughts to others, speaking to them. Pyrokinesis and dream manipulation. The only person he has trouble getting into the mind of is his cousin.

Background: Born to the King and Queen of Ralin, Khivar was the second born child but he was very young when it was realized that he was the one spoken about in a prophecy on Ralin, the one that would guide their people to victorious feats. At the time, the planet had been under a war with another planet and were barely holding their own, but Khivar's powers were so prominent that when he was in his early teens he was able to turn the tide of the war and bring home a victory for their people.

It was when he was 18 years old that his father was with him on a riding trip, with no one else around that Khivar caused his father to have an accident of tragic proportions and watched his father die a slow and painful death. When he returned home with his father's body, he told an elaborate lie and was soon crowned king. As soon as the crown was on his head, he ordered his new guards to gather his family and have them all beheaded, except... he saved the young Nicholas whom he had seen was of nearly equal power.

Personality: Sadistic, he enjoys causing others pain, has no problem killing and loves to be in control. He also has a side that no one questions.... his love for men. He loves having slaves and doing as he wishes with them. He is cold and calculated and can be cruel. Though there are times when he can also be a gentle lover, if he so wishes. He is very power hungry and determined to be an ultimate ruler.


Nicholas
Name: Nicholas
Age: 19
Family: Cousin, Khivar.
Powers: Mind raping (Able to search for information from other minds)
Job: Khivar’s 2nd in Command
Background: Nicholas had a family of two parents and two brothers, but when Khivar was made as the king of Ralin his family was killed. Only Nicholas was saved and he wasn’t sure why that was. He was thankful to Khivar, but for few years he was tearing himself apart by thinking If he should hate the man or thank the man for killing his family. Nicholas had never had any close relationships with any of them, so he decided to leave the grudge behind him. During the years he also noticed some different feelings towards Khivar, but he pushed them aside after thinking it was too much. However, he never got completely rid of those feelings.
Personality: Nicholas is a really jealous personality. Whenever someone else is with Khivar he starts to think things that aren’t really happening. Sometimes he’s even Mind raped a few men after they’ve had a long conversation with Khivar. Other than jealous he also gets angry pretty fast. When he’s not jealous or angry he’s calm and uninterested in things.

Name: Princess Liz
Age: 25
Family: Brother, Kyle.
Powers: Forced telekinesis (has premonitions and blasts things)
Background: Liz was born a year before Kyle. She never got much attention because she was a girl, but she never had a grudge against her brother. She loves Kyle more than everything, so she couldn’t possibly do anything to him just because he was the king. When they were taken from the country to safety, Liz was always looking after his baby brother. Liz returned to Natori after Kyle was made as a king. Liz has always thought that Kyle is more of the leader type, but she wouldn’t have turned the offer of being a queen down. Being a princess is enough for her. She likes Alex and Maria and considers them as her very good friends.
Personality: Liz has a mixed personality. While she’s kind she’s also a bit bad tempered. It may be because of her parents were to opposites. When Liz gets mad she blasts things that aren’t important and when she’s kind she helps other people. Usually she’s kind because Palace people have learned not to make her angry. Liz has an interest in a Duke of another kingdom.

Name: Duchess Maria
Age: 25
Family: Mother
Powers: Able to hypnotize people with her voice or calm them.
Background: Maria was born in a cottage near Kingdom of Natori. Her mother was alone at the time and Maria never knew his father. It was clear from the very start that Maria had special powers, but her mother wanted to raise her like a normal child. Finally at the age of eighteen, Maria was called to the royal palace. She heard that her father had been a Duke and now when Maria was eighteen she was given the Duchess’s name. She met new friends and she spent a lot of time with Alex, who was kind and reliable. Her mother was given a better home which Maria sometimes visits. She loves her new life and hopes that the peaceful times will continue.
Personality: Maria is a free soul. She likes to think that everything will be fine with some positive thinking. She has lots of energy when she’s happy and not so much energy when she’s depressed. Maria often makes some of the kingdom people happy by smiling at them. She often looks like nothing can make her feel sad, but on the inside she’s always worrying about the situation on Antar.

Matai Royals

Name: Princess Isabel
Age: 25
Family: She is the twin to Max.
Powers: Manipulating molecules and other show style normal powers
Special: Dreamwalking
Background: Isabel was born a few moments before Max, but she was glad that she didn't have to deal with the responsibility of ruling a kingdom when she got older. When they met Michael, Trevor and Tess, she was glad to make some friends that she could feel were true since most were only hanging with her because of her status and she could be herself. The pampered Princess, she was always in the height of fashion and always planning another ball.

More recently she is in the midst of planning one that will include the people of the other kingdom.

Personality: She is a bit closed off, always feeling that she has to be cautious because she's worried about wars starting again. She is also a bit hard to get to know, really get to know. So far, only Michael and Max have gotten that close... but Tess and Trevor are getting there slowly.


Name: Queen Tess
Age: 24
Family: Marquis Nacedo, her father is her only surviving relative
Powers: Manipulating molecules and other show style normal powers
Special: Mindwarping
Background: The daughter of a Marquis, Tess was instantly invited to almost any function. It was on her first visit to the palace that she met the Prince and found him intriguing. When a week later she was told that she was to wed him, she felt happy with the idea but when they were finally wed nearly 4 years later, her feelings had changed. She'd realized that she wasn't in love with him as she had thought, it had been a youth's crush.

Personality: Tess is certain that she knows what is best in things and is always trying to get things to go that way. However, she has her moments of kindness and she has a very large and kind heart, but she doesn't often let it be seen. She feels that too much kindness is a weakness.


Lythar

Danai
Name: Queen Danai
Age: 225
Family: Siblings: Raxar (older brother), Raelena (adopted younger sister)
Appearance: When in true form, she is seen with silver hair and eyes, the hair traveling to her ankles. A violet crescent moon adorns the center of her forehead while her ears are also slightly elongated and pointed. She is usually found in anything that is both tight and revealing, something her parents had wanted when they were alive. Most often, clothing is dark colors.

Abilities: Shapeshifting into other humanoid forms and animal forms, even those seen as myths on Earth. She can also heal herself and others to an extent with magical essences. She can harness the elements to an extent, such as controlling rain, wind and fire. The elemental control only comes from the crown she wears which was crafted to recognize the wearer and give them the abilities within. The crown also grants her the ability to transfer feelings of her choice to those she touches. For example, if she wishes to seduce someone, she can make them feel desire for her. The crown is crafted in such a manner that it can not be seen. It is chameleon like and changes to match any look she has. Just as her crescent remains the same in any form she is in.

Background: Born to the former Queen and King, she was raised as was duty, to take the throne. It is her people's way that the woman is the one to take the throne and any males are only capable of taking the throne if the queen passes with no female heir. Otherwise any male siblings gain the King title only when they have made a bond that the queen approves of. At that time, they rule their planet together. It is for this reason that when Danai was merely 105, she became Queen and ended up being forced into a position she never wanted. Her brother of course had not made a match since he was barely three years older then herself.
She rules her land with integrity and understanding, believing that peace is ultimately attained with friendship and respect, rather then with force. She hasn't wed anyone and since her people began traveling the stars, she has endevoured to be open to making alliances with other planets. Sometimes to the extent of sending her sister and brother to the worlds as her ambassador. However, recently the people have begun to worry that she would not have her own heir and she is in need of finding herself a husband, thus she is now seeking an alliance through marriage.

Personality: Danai is known for being a fair Queen and for the most part all of the people of Lythar love her, however behind the scene's she puts on two different expressions. Those who are close to her see her open and loving, while those she only associates with see her as distant and withdrawn. She doesn't trust all her people, certain that many will decide to remove her from the throne if she doesn't wed and she is certain that some are already forming a rebellion. The reason for this is that some of her sources have told her this.

Raelena
Name: Raelena
Age: 215
Appearance: Nearly golden hair with silver tints, her eyes are a brilliant moon silver with flecks of gold. Unlike Danai and Raxar, she is not of royal blood but was raised with them. However, her training as a warrior has her garbed in an armor at most times with weapons adorning her figure. She doesn't have a birthmark that is as apparent, hers being on her upper left thigh of a small orb.

Background: Raised by the royal family, Rae was given the chance to learn alongside them and also was trained in art of weaponry and fight style. She was charged with being prepared to protect Danai and Raxar with her life, though in turn she also became the commander of the royal guards and has been called sister by both the Queen and Prince. For this reason she was surprised when she was chosen to be an ambassador of their world and grateful for the chance.

She has been married once, though it was only for a couple of years before the abusive bastard was killed by one of her guards for what he caught him doing to Rae. She is determined that she will not wed again, nor trust another man to get that close to her. Her knew outlook is that she'll have sex but she won't get attached.

Abilities: Other then her weapon mastery and knowledge of fighting, she is also capable of shapeshifting, though only into other humanoid forms. She also has mastery of offensive spells that are only taught to warriors that are part of the royal guard.

Personality: After the abuse she suffered from her husband, she has become distant and calculating. She doesn't want to let anyone get too close and even at times she pushes Danai and Raxar away from her. She is very protective of her 'sister and brother' and watches over them carefully. She is also very withdrawn and most wonder if she has feelings at all because it seems that her smiles are always faked or half-hearted.

Name: Selene
Age: Unknown
Family: Unknown

Appearance: With pale blonde hair bordering on silver, flecks of gold littering her otherwise turquoise eyes, and a small, diamond shaped birthmark centered on her left temple, Selene looks remarkably like a resident of Lythara, perhaps even a royal. But she claims she's never been there before.

Background: Selene was found huddled at the base of a tree in the forests of Lythara, dried blood on her forehead and hands, and no memory of her life. She looks like she is Lytharian, but can honestly tell everyone she talks to that she's never been here before. Every little thing about the planet amazes her, from the bright colors to the people that look curiously like her.
Then there are the dreams she's been having since she was found; dreams involving shadowed people whispering words in a language she can't understand. Each is familiar, but she wakes screaming, trying to put faces and names to the silhouettes.

Abilities: Selene seems to have powers she doesn’t know about, another thing to add to her burden. No memory is a hard thing to deal with, but its worse when you feel an unnatural connection to animals and everyone else thinks you’re strange. Okay, so maybe it has something to do with her being found in the forest, but it is still unusual.

Personality: Shy, and afraid of everything, Selene doesn’t know who to trust. If someone touches her, she turns away with a flinch, and at night her mind and body are racked with horrible nightmares, leaving her quiet and withdrawn for hours. She wants to open up to someone, but is afraid to because she is unsure of everything. Who’s to know what happened? She sure doesn’t, and that scares her.

This is just a quick note, for those that decide to create a character...

If the character is going to be from Lythar, I ask that you see to it the bio is filtered through me seeing as how the Lythar race and world is a creation of mine which I do have copyrighted and also not to use anything having to do with Lythar elsewhere. Lythar is one of my babies and I'm very protective over it because the creation process for everything I set (which isn't all written here in this game) took nearly a year.

Storm, would you mind If I'd write the starting post for this today even if we don't have all the characters? Or do you want to wait until more people join. We have all kings (actually all important ones) and we could temp other if we need, until we get actual players for them.

I have no problem with us starting at this time. I'm going to post Rae soon and then finish Raxar and post him as well.... then work on the others as well.

While Raxar and I awaited a reply from the royal's on Antar, I stood in my quarters and prepared my form to match their style more. I know that being different from their race doesn't matter but it was Danai's request that we try and fit in as much as possible and not draw extra attention to ourselves. So, it was for this reason that I closed my eyes and concentrated on shifting my appearance, starting first with my hair and eyes. I felt that changing my hair to a reddish auburn would be better then keeping it so unusual. At the same time, I shortened it so that rather then trailing to my knees it rested comfortably on my mid back.

Next, I focused on my ears and shortened them, taking the points off and making them more like an Antarian's. With our technology, we were capable of studying the appearances of other cultures before we were face to face with them and I was glad for that chance. "Commander." I heard the comm from outside my room sound.

"Enter." I called back and listened as the door swooshed open. Her second in command while on diplomatic trips came walking in and gave her a low bow. "What can I do for you, Lax?"

The man, who was still in normal appearance though he had an amulet to aid in his own shift straightened and gave her a light smile, "I was just wondering whether I am to be with your landing party or with the Prince?"

"You'll be with my brother, Lax. I want to see to it that you and the others that go with him do not leave him alone until such a time as you feel that it would be safe to do so. If the King of Natori seems trustworthy, then should Raxar request it, you may give them privacy to speak of the relations we wish to open. Otherwise, despite what he says, do not leave his side." I tell him and check my weapons as I stand there, planning on using illusion magic to hide my weapons so that no one is aware of my ways.

"As you command." Lax replied and I motioned toward his amulet.

"Make certain you alter your appearance and tell the other guards the same. We do not wish to draw too much attention to ourselves. Have you and the men studied the lay out of the planet?"

"Yes, My Lady. We have done as you directed before we began orbit. Our science officers found that there is nothing in the atmosphere that will cause us any form of danger. Nor does there appear to be any substance in their water systems that could be seen as a danger. They have forests that remind me of Doran Forest more then any other type. We are awaiting their responses to our requests about their social ways and have already sent ours to them. It appears from all standards that we will be the first peaceful contact that they've actually made. At least, with how we measure it." Lax's response pleased me. He was one of the best warriors we had on Lythar and I was glad that he had been chosen for this mission by Danai herself.

"Very well, when they reply, inform me immediately and have a security detail in place to check out both areas with full scans before either myself or Raxar go down with landing parties." After a nod and a few more details being worked out I dismiss Lax and watch him leave.

I hate to admit it, but I'm nervous about this contact. All of our scans show that they have a raw material that if added to one of our planet's materials could aid us in creating a better healing barrier on our planet for those that have been falling ill of late. If we can't make this alliance a positive with both kingdoms then we may end up having this strange virus affecting more of our people. I know that Danai decided to form this alliance for more then that purpose, feeling that somehow we'd have to forge a marriage alliance with both kingdoms in some manner. Of course, from the little we'd managed to upload before being detected and asked to identify ourselves, we learned that they don't view marriage in the same manner as we do.

On Lythar, it is not unheard of for a woman or a man to have two mates. One that is the husband or wife and the other that is a life partner of another sort. Would such a bonding work with these people? I wasn't able to figure out how well that would work. Morita had been a planet where the people were tapped into energies similar to our own so the bonding was instantly found as being compatible, but I also remember when Drin wed a woman on Calais and the bonding didn't take, almost killing him.

My other issue was how Raxar was going to handle it when it came to bonding with a woman when I knew that he didn't like them and wasn't attracted to them in that manner. I wish there was some way I could help but with my not being of royal blood I could make a pact but it doesn't really give much to the man I wed. I carry the title Princess simply because I was raised by Siena and Kael before they passed and all, but I didn't have a large dowry. Although, with my abilities it was something that would definitely come in handy.

Sighing, I step out of the room and make my way to the bridge to check on the status of things that may have been happening during my change. I'd kept my clothing the same as I usually had it.
