Summary: This story is set five years after the Prom in Heart of Mine. The big change is Tess wasn’t evil and she only ever had eyes for Kyle. As Tess didn’t have any ulterior motive all the couples were able to live and evolve without too many problems. That is except Alex and Isabel. Inexplicably Isabel left Roswell the morning after the Prom and despite Max and Michael catching up with her they returned home empty handed. As Isabel graduated early she was able to enrol in college in New York and she only ever kept in touch with her family.

This is one of my all-time favorite Gazer stories. The first one of David's that I read and I heartily recommend it.
