Ok this is a story called Finding The Way Home.AU with aliens.
A/I,K/T,M/M and M/L
In this story Isabel,not Michael,was the one to run away when the Evan's car approached.She was later found and taken in by Amy...who later married Jim.So the whole sibling line is thrown off in this story.

Maria Valenti(last name changed after mom's marraige),Kyle Valenti and Isabel Valenti(adopted)
