Wedding Stupidity

You know, people never cease to amaze me.
My co-worker showed me a vid that he found over on Meta Cafe. A couple is on their knees, pledging their wedding vows when the groom's cell phone rings. He promptly answers it.....then gets up in the middle of the ceremony and walks away from the altar to hold the conversation. The poor bride's face was terrible to behold. In her shoes I'd call it quits, right then and there.

Can you link me up, Rick? I'm getting married in August and my fiance is permanently attached to his cell phone. I'd like to show him this as a fair warning.

Sort of on this topic, the actress Marcia Cross who portrays Bree Van De Camp on 'Desperate Housewives', married recently. Her husband's cellular phone reportedly rang also during their vows, but he was smart enough not to answer it and promptly turned it off

Who in the WORLD would even have there cell phone on them during there own WEDDING! That is just nuts...shaking my head.....lol

"Okay, I'll call you back in about fifteen minutes. Is that good for you?"
Quick Pause
"Okay, great! Good luck! I'll talk to you in a little bit. Bye!"
That's just sad.

What could be that can't not wait till tomorrow, not even an emergency since all your love ones are suppouse to be there already!!

i can understand why they would have it ON them. since they'd probably need to get in touch with people before the ceremony, make sure everything's going on track, and unlike women, they don't carry a purse to stick it in before the ceremony. but answering it is just plain rude.

And we all know the guy in THAT video didn't get any nookie on his wedding night.......

And what kind of dumbass carries a cell phone on him,that too turned on during his wedding ceremony???The man had his priorities all wrong.
