Summary: Two years after graduation the gang is still on the run. With Michael's dreams they have a new lead to find past connections. When they finally meet up with old friends and family will it be too late to finally stop the end of the world?
Part 1
*~* Somewhere in Iowa*~*
Michael shot up from the dream. Glancing at the clock at the nightstand of the most recent hotel he saw that it was 1 am. Now alert with no hopes of getting back to sleep anytime soon, he slipped out of bed praying not to disturb Maria. He changed quickly and set off outside to relieve Kyle from guard since he was now awake he figured at least somebody should be able to get some rest while they were off the road for the time being.
Kyle turned with his hand raised at the sound of the door shutting. Seeing Michael he raised an eyebrow and asked, “The dream?”
Getting only a grunt from Michael Kyle responded, “That’s what? The third time this week?”
Michael never having been a morning person merely nodded to Kyle’s questioning. “Do you want to…”
Stopping him before he could finish the question Michael responded, “No Kyle, I don’t want to talk about it. Go get some sleep I’m awake and not getting back to bed soon so you might as well rest up for tomorrow, we’re hitting the road again.”
Kyle groaned, nodded his head in thanks and shuffled off to his room that he had to share with Isabel.
After doing a quick perimeter check, Michael settled back to where Kyle was resting and turned to his turbulent thoughts.
They had been on the road two years now. Doing good deeds and avoiding the law! Ha. What a joke that was. They spend more time in the new SUV driving from town to town than anything else. Helpless people were few and far between for the six of them. The only thing that kept him going besides his need to protect his family were the dreams.
For the past year and a half, they’ve been haunting him. No haunting is the wrong word. Sure it was creepy that he couldn’t remember a damn thing once he woke up, but he felt the connection. It was leading him and the rest of them somewhere important.
Over the past year Liz noticed the variation of dreams. The amount of times he had them a week depended on where in the country they where. They were now in Iowa which proved little miss scientist’s theory.
They were the strongest and most frequent in the Midwest. But what the hell did that mean!! It was frustrated to no end not to be able to figure it out especially after a whole year and a half.
Isabel tried with her powers to see what they were about, but the group could never predict when he would be hit with a dream. Even Liz would try to get a premonition of something from him, but no luck there either.
For some reason Michael felt the time was running out. He wasn’t sure what kind of time though. Was the time to figure out the dream running out, or were they running out of time to just run and hide in plan sight. Was the time coming when Khivar would send his evil army of skins loose on them or were the FBI finally catching up with them?
Michael let out a frustrated sigh as he felt a tingle at the back of his mind. He turned just in time to see Maria leaving their room.
“Hey Spaceboy, more bad dreams?”
Looking into her deep green eyes he realized he had to tell them now.
“That’s just it Maria. There not bad dreams. I know I keep telling everyone that they have this foreboding atmosphere to them, but it not in a bad way. Does that even make sense? Geeze, now you got me rambling. I knew I’ve been spending too much time with you pixie.”
Choosing not to be offended this time Maria just wrapped her arms around his waist and told him to come back to bed.
“Can’t I already sent Kyle to bed,” glancing at his watch he saw that it was already 3am, “besides there’s only two more hours before everyone’s up and we are mobile."
Sighing Maria shook her head in agreement, stood up on her toes and gave Michael a kiss before going back to bed herself.
Once she was gone Michael smiled and thanked whatever god or higher being that was looking out for them that Maria decided to come with them. With him, as she had clarified after two months on the road. He shouldn’t have really been so surprised with Max and Liz being all soul gazing in their newlywed state, but it still came to a shock to him when he was on guard one night and Maria came out of the room she was sharing with Isabel and said point blank,
“You know Michael, I was a real idiot when I left you because those dreams of being this huge successful singer, they really pale in comparison to the dream of being with you. So I just want you to know that I plan on being with you till death do us part.”
Then she stopped as if having realizing what she just said and blushed. With Michael smirking at her she continued, “I mean… Spaceboy is it ok if I come back to you now?”
Michael pulled her into his embrace and kissed her with all the passion he’d been holding back since she said she was leaving Roswell with him.
At first, Isabel wasn’t too pleased with having to share a room with Kyle now every time they stopped at a hotel, but that changed, as they became even better friends. Something that even rivaled Liz and Maria’s friendship at times.
Michael was so caught up in the reminiscing the flash caught him by surprise. It was over in seconds, but gave him enough information that he knew where they were heading off too in a few hours.
It had the same pull as his dreams. A connection to someone vitally important to the three aliens, especially Michael, someone who finally had all the answers they searched for their whole lives. The truth could finally be revealed to them. Not from some skin, or traitorous protector, or murdering bitch. It was someone who could not only tell them everything, but also save them from the end of the world.
Startled Michael shook his head at this last thought. He reached into the car for the maps; he had to find the fastest route towards Chicago because he knew time was short.
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
*~* Just outside Chicago*~*
At the same time Michael was pulling out his maps a few hundred miles away near Chicago a girl sat up in bed. She groaned out loud as she clenched her brown eyes shut in frustration. “Damn It RATH!!”
She shoved her unruly hair out of her face. It was too soon for them to find her. She didn’t think the dreams had been that detailed or frequent enough to give away her location.
Perhaps she had underestimated the strength of their power.
Khivar would not be pleased if they were all reunited. He would send down more then just an army of skins. If that happened the Royal Four would never win.
She couldn’t let that happen. She wouldn’t let Khivar win again. Watching him destroy her family once was much more then enough as far as she was concerned.
She sighed as she laid back down and starting blocking the other three as they woke up and started moving closer in her direction. Ava was far enough away that she didn’t have to actively block her, which was good because it would take all of her concentration from stopping the connections to solidify and alert Khivar that the Royals were together again.
The most she could hope for at this point was that only one of them would come to confront her. If all of the resurrected Royal Four where in the same room, this soon, Earth was surely doomed…
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
Part 2
Driving had almost become therapeutic for Isabel. She didn’t have to think about all the men who gave up their lives for knowing her. She didn’t have to reflect on all the lives she destroyed. Not to mention she could ignore the fact that she betrayed her family and sentenced her planet to the rule of a tyrant. Nope driving was perfect for Isabel to avoid all these plaguing thoughts.
She glanced over at Kyle in the passenger seat and couldn’t help from smiling. With his forehead against the window and mouth open he looked quite comical.
She saw the mile marker sign on the side of the highway and sighed. She wasn’t even in her mid twenties yet and she felt too old to be chasing Michaels dream around the country.
That was a little harsh on her part. They didn’t wonder the country trying to solve these mysterious dreams he was having. A large part of the wondering was because the Air Force found a tape of her using her powers. More guilt for Isabel. Wonderful just what she needed.
Michael’s dreams where more of a sidebar to their adventure. When they were frequent and stronger they focused on the dreams otherwise it was ignored.
Isabel wasn’t sure why they have ignored them for as long as they did. If she was honest with herself she too felt the connection Michael spoke of. Granted it wasn’t as strong and she definitely did not have dreams, but the nights Michael did, the next morning Isabel would wake up knowing that the person who was connected to them was reaching out again. Trying to find them.
Isabel knew Max felt it too, not just from the worried look in his eyes the next morning after Michael has a dream, but the fact that he wouldn’t argue with Michael at all about them.
Despite the fact that Max had long ago given up his thrown that day they sat by the ruins of the Pod Chamber he was even more a leader now then before. Marrying Liz had awakened something in him.
They trained their powers now, all five of them together. Yep that’s right both Liz and Kyle where crackling and buzzing with the alien juice that has gotten them all into so much trouble. Not only were they well trained in their powers now, but physically too.
Max had forced them all to sign up for some sort of class in self-defense, so they did. It was like he was preparing an army albeit a small one. She realized he was; it wasn’t just that he had married Liz it was what Liz had told them all about the end of the world.
OH what a fun night that was!! Ha. Since then they have trained like the small force they are. It doesn’t matter what city they are in or if they are traveling on the road they are constantly training, building strength.
She looked back at her brothers through the mirror. With Liz curled into his side reading a book Max gazed out the window deep in thought. She could almost see the plans he was forming and discarding as the cornfields pasted by.
Further back Michael too was deep in thought, a world away from his traveling companions and the little pixie at his side who was humming a soft tune and writing lyrics in her notebook.
As Isabel pulled onto the off ramp for the last rest stop before Chicago she didn’t realize how right she was in regards to Michaels thoughts.

“Raeanne!! Where are you?”
She giggled as she popped out from behind a bush in the gardens.
“Oh Rath, Why are you in search for your little annoying sister?”
“Time to train” was his clipped response.
Raeanne rolled her eyes at her older brother. Rath knew she didn’t understand why she still had to practice in the four square. Ava was here now and she would soon be replacing her spot.
Raeanne wanted to focus on learning more about the Granolith. After all it was her who was born to protect it not to mention yield its power. How could she ever hope to do that if she was still protecting the other Royals; that was his job.
Raeanne loved her friends and family, but she could sense that she would have to be better trained in her role as Granolith protector in order for them to win the war that was coming.
Rath snapped his fingers in front of Raeanne’s face. She had been spacing out a lot lately even he had noticed it.
“Vilandra said Ava was out getting fitted for her wedding dress and to get you since we have to train. Besides the four of us haven’t practiced together in months. I miss the power signature we have together; it’s not the same with the queenie to be.”
Raeanne sighed and humored her older brother as he ushered her along to meet up with Zan and Vilandra.
It was the first time in centuries that there were four royals, two sets of siblings so powerful that their four square was feared and at the same time reverend among the whole kingdom.
No one dared to challenge them. However, they would not be the leaders of the kingdom. Zan was betrothed to Ava before Raeanne was born so the Four Square that would lead and defend wasn’t actually the strongest on the planet like it had been for ages.
Besides that Raeanne had a bigger destiny.
It had been even longer since there was an assigned protector of the granolith. The people were beginning to think its power dormant forever. That was until the birth of the fourth royal.
Raeanne was shaken out of her thoughts with a yell,
“Rae!!!! I’ve missed you so much! All you do is studying now about the granolith. You’ve left me alone to befriend Ava. I thought we were better friends then that!”
Raeanne giggled and exclaimed,
“You’re just upset because if I’m not here Ava’s brother Khivar follows you around endlessly!”
At Vilandra blush Zan chuckled and elbowed Rae,
“It’s been awhile. Where’ve you been rug rat?”
“What Zannie worried lil Rae would forget about all of you? Never!!”
Rath laughed at his sister’s antics and it wasn’t long before Zan and Vilandra joined him….
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
“Michael!!! For the love of the Check Republic snap out of it!! Max he’s not…”
Maria trailed off as Max reached over and shook Michael to get his attention.
Slowly Michael’s eyes refocused to the amber eyes of a long lost friend, “Zan?”
Max grimaced at the named. It was never a good thing when the alien side was brought up.
“Michael, its Max are you okay?”
“Max...? What?”
Looking around Michael saw they were at a rest stop, parked far from the few other cars that were scattered in the lot. He saw Isabel and Kyle outside leaning in through the door of the SUV. Liz’s huge chocolate brown eyes were starring at him and Maria was sniffing some oil next to him. He stuttered to answer them,
“I’m... I saw… I remembered.”
“Remember what” asked a frantic Maria.
As Liz reached over to touch Michael’s hand she got a flash. She gasps as she sees Zan, Vilandra and Rath laughing with another girl.
Michael still in a daze the others looked to Liz for an answer.
“It was you guys, before when you were,” looking around she sees people nearby and decided to just point upwards instead of actually saying, “on Antar.”
Isabel gasps and Max asks,
“What did you see?”
“Well, you were laughing. It was you, Isabel, and Michael with another girl.”
“Tess” asked Kyle as Maria asks “Ava” at the same time.
Liz hesitated for only a moment and in that time Michael answered so quietly they almost missed it, “NO! She was my younger sister, lil Rae.”
Max only thought for a few minutes, “That’s who were chasing isn’t it? She’s the connection we all feel?”
Slowly Michael nods his head.
“Well wonderful now that’s all settle can we get moving we’re starting to draw some attention from that guy working the booth.”
Kyle hopped into the driver seat as he said all this and the others nodded in agreement. Getting back on the road the car was silent for a few minutes, suddenly Liz exclaims,
“We need a plan.”
“Ever the planner,” remarks Isabel, “A plan for what?”
Although nobody noticed expect for Maria Michael was nodding in agreement.
However it was Max who answered his sisters question, “How to find her once we get to Chicago. How we approach her once we find her. Do we even want to do this? We need lots of plans.”
Shocking everyone Michael had answers to all these, “I can find her, through the connection and I’ll approach her alone,” before anyone could protest this he rushed on, “it’s important okay. I feel it. If we all try to talk to her at once it… I’m not sure but it’s not the right plan. Just trust me. Please.”
He added at the end. Seeing the desperation in his eyes Max slowly nodded.
While Michael searched out his long lost sister Maria, Liz and Kyle could contact the Sheriff and him and Isabel would scope out the area and find some hotel for them.
They only had an hour left before they were in Chicago and Max feared it would be another one of those life-changing moments. At the same time he had great hope that it would be a change for the better if not immediately, definitely in the long fun for them.
“Stop!!!”
Kyle slammed on the breaks as Michael screamed at him and grabbed his head. Maria and Isabel both started to panic immediately and Liz turned to Max for an answer.
Gaining some control Michael explained, “She’s…. we can’t all be this close to her. She’s trying to block the connections, but the closer we all are to her the harder it gets. We can’t all keep going.”
He turned his eyes to Max and Isabel “You two have to keep going to Boston and finish that business.”
Isabel nearly screeched at him, “Michael, we are not leaving you to meet some alien by yourself”
“I’ll stay with him.”
All eyes turned a shocked look to Kyle.
“What? I’ve never been to Chicago and no offense but I don’t’ really dig the east coast.”
“I’ll stay too.”
“No, Maria, go with Max. I don’t know how dangerous this is going to be and I don’t know if I’ll be able to protect you.”
Maria whined, “Kyle gets to stay!”
“Hey I can protect myself remember I got the aliens juice now!”
Not only did Kyle’s humor once again get rid of tension, but also Maria silently nodded her head and stopped arguing.
“Okay, so Michael and Kyle will head the rest of the way to find his sister. The rest of us will go around Chicago to Boston,” glancing at Michael Max added, “very far around Chicago.”
Michael and Kyle climbed out of the car. Liz climbed into the driver seat as Maria climbed in next to her. Max and Isabel sat in the back and Michael and Kyle watched as the rest of their family rode away.
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
Part 3
After switching driver seats with Max, Liz settled into the very back with the laptop.
They had picked it up six months ago, right after getting the new SUV. They had been in a town three whole weeks and all of them had gotten pretty decent jobs.
So now they had a more reliable form of transportation, and they could be connected to the world with the wireless network.
Liz was typing away furiously leafing through the next state in search of the allusive Serena. She felt a piercing stare and looked up to the sadden eyes of Isabel.
Immediately Liz reached up for her hand both remembering their tall, lanky Alex who should be the one at the computer.
Liz soon went back to work if Alex had been there they would already know where Serena was, but instead they were relying on Liz to find her.
She had already gone through 20 state records eliminating all Serena’s she came across which weren’t many. There were a few possible matches, but then Liz would notice something like the woman was sixty years old or worse yet even dead.
One girl, Liz was positive matched the Serena they were looking for, but she had a brother.
Future Max never mention that, than again Future Max didn’t say much. This is why Liz added that girl and he brother to the list of possibilities. So far she was the only one on it.
The only problem, they were as hard to track down as hopefully they themselves were.
Liz hadn’t told the others, but in truth she had stopped looking for other Serena’s. She hadn’t had a premonition, but her gut instinct told her to follow this lead.
Liz figured as far as tasks went in preparing for the War, she had the easier person to find.
Isabel was giving the difficult job to find Ava. And all she could go on was a picture of Tess, which was proving no help at all.

“It’s a pleasure to finally meet you Raeanne. The others speak so highly of you.”
“Why thank you Ava, but I’m sure that’s nothing to what the entire kingdom is saying about you.”
Ava smiled weakly at the girl. In the past few months she had been at the Palace she had grown much closer to the three oldest Royals.
She was worried about her brother’s plan; she was starting to think it might actually work and she feared for all their lives.
Ava wished she was stronger to stop her twin, or just brave enough to tell someone who could stop him, but try as she might the courage failed her.
She looked up to see all four Royals starring at her, blushing she asked, “I’m sorry what did you say?”
“How are you enjoying your time at the Palace?” repeated Raeanne.
As Ava answered Zan and Vilandra seemed nonetheless wiser, but Rath looked suspicious, even more so than when she first arrived and Raeanne looked… Ava wasn’t sure what scared her more.
The fact that Raeanne looked through her sparkling crystal blue eyes to the depths of her soul or that she knew.
Ava went to speak to finally warn them or try and start planning to stop Khivar, but Raeanne suddenly shook her head to stop her.
Then glanced one last time with eyes full of acceptance, before running off to who knows where.
Once Raeanne had turn to flee Ava stopped talking mid sentence. She watched as Zan just smiled at her, Vilandra turned to watch her best friend flea, but only shook her head in confusion. Rath gave Ava one last look before he too went off in search of his sister.
Ava was unsettled to say the least. She prayed that the five of them together would be strong enough, but she feared when the time came they would be separated and defeated with out putting up much of a fight at all.
Her brother would be left to rule a kingdom and this thought terrified her.
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
*~* Washington*~*
Waking up with a start, Ava noticed the tears leaking from her usually sparking eyes. Seeing it was time to get up she went to find her roommate to warn him.
“Hey, get up its well after nine.”
“Five more minutes mom!”
Ava had to suppress her laughter, “First off I’m not your mother. Secondly we don’t’ have five more minutes. The Royals are close.”
Fully awake now he said, “Close… to our location or...?”
“No, Worse! Close to each other, I think Michael, Max and Isabel have finally found Raeanne.”
“But that means Khivar will know! Not only that but we’ll have a very pissed off Alien King on our tails. I’ve never seen Max angry, but I don’t think I’d like it, and I’d imagine your dear brother Khivar is a tad worse then Maxwell.”
Ava nearly growled as she said, “What did I say about addressing him as my brother?!?”
“Fine. I think it’s time you let the block down, let Isabel find you, let her find us. We’re weak out here all alone Ava. And you need to start training with the others, and I miss my girls!!!”
She huffed knowing he was right, but horrified of the impending battle.
“Ava please it’s been more than three years since I’ve been with my family. I love you Ava, you’ve been a great sister to me, but it’s not enough and I shouldn’t be enough for you. I know it’s scary, but we can handle it together. We can handle anything together.”
As he pulled her close and kissed the top of her blonde hair streaked with purple he heard her mumble,
“Ok Alex. Time to stop hiding.”
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
Part 4
“Why did you really want to go with me Kyle?”
Kyle rolled his eyes as the usually silent companion asked the question for a second time in less then 20 minutes.
As they walked through the park, he sighed trying to buy some time as he organized his thoughts. Buddha help me!
“Michael, I know it’s usually Liz who gets the premonitions or you get the freaky dreams, but I have this, I don’t know a feeling.”
Before Michael could mock him he hurried on, “it’s like I’m searching for someone and time is not on my side.”
Not noticing Michael’s knowing look he continued.
“They’re not here with your sister, but going further east just felt wrong. The wrong direction for me to be going at this time in our lives.”
In response Michael started, “ I know what you mean about time being…”
Kyle glanced at Michael when he stopped short.
He saw him staring ahead, following his gaze his breath caught as he spotted her.
She was the spitting image of Michael. Uncontrolled, brown hair down to her shoulders, tense posture even as she was sitting on the bench seeming to be relaxed. A glint of silver caught his eyes, rings, on the same fingers as Michael. Doc Martin boots just like him too.
Then he glanced back to her face as her eyes shifted around the area scooping it out for evil nasties, just like he had seen Michael do a hundred times.
“ Wow she looks just like you Michael. Is that her?”
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
She was sitting in a park when she felt the pressure in her head lighten considerably.
Relieved that Michael had gotten her message before it was too late. She knew it wouldn’t be long before she was reunited with her brother.
It had been far too long since she had seen Rath. But even this visit was just that a visit.
It wasn’t there time yet to be a family again; there was so much to do.
The others had to get Ava back with them not to mention they have yet to find Serena and Spencer. Maybe they could just wait for those two to come to them.
She smiled as she thought of her two cousins out there traveling the country much like the Roswellians only they were fighting skins.
The two of them were single handedly searching out and defeating enemies that threaten their very existence. They were still very much like Sarafina and Saeran, always fighting to protect the ones they love. Willing to die for the cause.
This time though nobody was going to die, not on her watch.
She felt the tingle at the back of her mind before she saw him.
She turned and smiled into the brown eyes of her older brother who she hadn’t seen in a lifetime.
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
Michael starred at the girl sitting at the park bench.
She was young, still only a teenager which was laughable because he barely wasn’t a teenager.
He felt the connection and had no choice but to walk up to her.
As she turned around and smiled at him he found himself starring into a set of eyes that were an exact match to his, “Raeanne?”
He slowly questioned. The smile that lit up her face was blinding, but she shook her head no, “It’s Christina now. What’s your name Rath?”
If it seemed odd that she asked this question while addressing him by his old name, Michael didn’t seem phased, “Michael. Michael Guerin.”
“Michael I know this must seem like an odd request and I know your mental powers won’t be as strong, but you have to block our connection. Everything depends on that.”
Michael took a moment to focus, he found the most recent connection to one of his own kind, to his little sister.
It was struggling to solidify and roam free. He regretful began to build a wall around it.
Looking into her eyes he reinforced that wall stronger than anything he ever built so even the Hurricane DeLuca would have trouble getting through it.
She smiled as he finished.
“Thank you Michael, don’t get me wrong I would love to be connect to you and Zan and Vilandra again, but its too dangerous,”
“Max and Isabel” Michael automatically corrected.
“Right sorry,”
She glanced at Kyle, and Michael quickly introduced them, “That’s Kyle. He’s a friend.”
She merely nodded and said, “We should go some where I know you have lots of questions and I have the answers.”
“All the answers?”
Christina looked into the eyes that were mirror reflections of her own and with the saddest voice Michael had ever heard she answered, “Yes, I have all your answers. I’m sorry I couldn’t tell you before, but it just…. It would have ended worse then the first time.”
“The first time” questioned Michael.
Christina hesitated only a moment before decided how much to reveal to an older brother who was untrusting by nature.
“The first time from when future Max came back. If I had shared with you these answers we might not have even had the 14 years they did. So I had to wait until you came to me. I could sort of guide you, but I couldn’t directly go to you. I didn’t want to bring the End of the World any sooner.”
Michael just starred at her and nodded following her as she started to lead them back to her apartment.
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
Michael was astonished; she knew about Future Max and the other timeline. Apparently she wasn’t lying when she said she everything.
She opened the door to her apartment and allowed Kyle and Michael to enter before following them in and locking the door.
Michael saw the soft glow of her hands right before it faded and she turned back to them.
“Had to make sure nobody was here while I was gone.”
Kyle seemed to accept this with a nod, but Michael started to question it, “ How...” Christina smiled sheepishly.
“First I think we need a history lesson,”
Michael and Kyle both had to stop the groan from escaping them, neither of them had liked history very much in high school. They didn’t seem to think they would like it very much now.
She couldn’t help, but laugh at their faces, “You spend your whole life looking for the answers to your past. Did you ever stop to think those answers are found in our history. They are our history.”
“Anyways, first I have to tell you about Antar that way you can go back to the others and tell them.”
“Aren’t you coming with us?” Kyle looked at her in confusion.
“I’ll get to that… where was I? OH after the truth about what happened on Antar I have to tell you a few things about now. Some things that need to be done and others, which have to be prevented. Then I have some good news.”
Michael and Kyle just starred at her.
“UM okay first off, where are the others right now.”
Kyle didn’t even hesitate, “On their way to Boston,” he stopped as Christina paled and turned to Michael.
“You have to contact them and stop them!!”
“Why?”
She looked at both of them and knew she had to reveal this truth before she was ready.
“Okay, but you’re going to have to trust me, because I can’t fully explain YET.”
After watching them both slowly nod, “Jessie was with the FBI”
Kyle started to shake his head in disbelief, but Michael caught the use of her past tense, “Was?”
“They killed him, maybe three months ago, Max, Isabel, and Liz are walking straight into the newest FBI headquarters.”
Kyle wanted to ask questions. Mainly How the HELL did she know all this shit, but Michael was already dialing,
“Max, you can’t go to Boston…Jessie’s dead… because he was with the FBI and they killed him, one of their own. It’s a trap, Maxwell you go to Boston and not only are you handing yourself over but your sister and wife to the White Room. And Maria. You think you can all live through that for the time it takes Kyle and me to save your ass carry on, but you sure as hell better drop Maria off now. Please Maxwell, just go south…okay head to Florida or something… okay yeah see you then.”
“What did El Presidente have to say?”
Christina glanced at the disrespect shown to her King and former friend, but ignored it as Michael said, “Two weeks we meet them. Isabel will contact you with the details.”
Kyle just nodded his head in understanding as he prayed to Buddha for patience.
It was going to be the longest two weeks of his life.
