Where is the Pod Chamber?

I heard that roswell was shot in covina.
but was the pod chamber rock out there also?
I mean-they wouldnt sound stage such a desert rock formation.
so does anyone know where it is? city or exact location??
that would be an awesome day trip to see since i live in the O.C.
