Doomsday Preppers

So I had pretty much stayed off this bandwagon until today. In an effort to not wash dishes I thought I'd give it a shot. What are your thoughts? Some ideas and/or fears seem a bit strange but others seem perfectly reasonable. Do we have any secret preppers out there on the board?
