Prologue


His eyes snapped open and he slammed his hand through the wall of the pod. He stuck his head out and took a deep breath and climbed out of the pod. He looked around to the unfamiliar room it looked to be a cave of sorts. He turned to see three other pods. He peered into the pod to be greeted to a little girl floating in the water. The girl had blonde curls. He didn’t want to leave and be alone so he sat down to wait for them to come out of there pods. His stomach rumbled and he knew he would have to go search for food. He walked over to the wall at the front of the cave and waved his hand over the wall. A silver hand print appeared, he placed his hand over the handprint and a secret door opened. He stepped out into the cool desert night and went on his way to search for food for them.

It felt as if he had been walking for hours and his once rumbling stomach was now aching for food and on top of that he was lost. As he was walking through the desert he saw to bright lights heading his way. He froze not knowing whether to run or stay where he was. It was to late the people in the car had seen him and stopped. Two people stepped out.

“Oh my god,” the women said as she looked at the little boy naked on the side of the road. “Phillip, who would do this to a little boy?” “I don’t know Diane I really don’t know” the man said as he grabbed a blanket from the back and walked up to the boy. “It’s going to be okay your safe now.” Diane said to the little boy as she helped him into the backseat of there old car. She slid into the backseat with him as Phillip got into the car and drove them into the closest town Roswell.

Chapter 2
2 weeks later

“Ms. Parker shouldn’t you be taking notes instead of staring at Mr. Evans?” Mr. Jones scolded. Liz blushed and looked down at her notes in embarrassment. Max reached under the lab table and squeezed her hand. She looked up and Max smiled at her; she smiled and turned and began taking notes. Max pulled out a piece of paper and scribbled something on it and when Mr. Jones wasn’t looking gave it to Liz. Liz opened the piece of paper and read “eraser room? During lunch?” Liz looked at max and nodded. Liz turned her attention back to Mr. Jones.

Max grabbed Liz and pulled her into the eraser room while she giggled. Max shut the door and locked it. Max smiled and passionately kissed her. Liz raped her arms around him and kissed him back with the same passion. Liz pulled Max closer as he trailed kisses down her neck and began to suck on her pulse point. Hands were moving everywhere as the couple tried to get closer. Max groaned when he heard the bell ring. He pulled away to see a tousled Liz and smiled at her. “I can’t wait until tonight.” Liz said remembering there plan for tonight. “Are Maria and Alex still going to cover for us?” “As far as I know” Liz said biting her lip. Max smiled at her and pecked her on the lips. Max and Liz exited the eraser room. Max and Liz kissed one more time and then went there separate ways.

Albuquerque, New Mexico
The next day
12:00 pm
Nasedo looked at the three teens who were sitting on an old beat up couch. “Now Isabel tonight I want you to search for your brother on the dream plane see if you can locate him” Isabel nodded. “Michael you keep a look out for skins or anything out of the ordinary, we can’t afford anymore surprises” Michael grunted in response. “And you help Isabel if she needs more energy to search on the dream plane” he said looking at Tess. “I have to go to meet with the other rulers of the four planets. I will be back in three days I expect some progress by the time I get back.” Nasedo said and he turned and left the old abandoned house.

9:00pm
Isabel sat down on the old dirty overstuffed couch and looked at Tess. “You ready Tess?” Tess nodded and sat down next to her. Michael glanced towards them and nodded. “Alright let’s do this we all now are jobs.” “Let’s just get this over with” said Isabel in response.

Isabelle and Tess connected hands and Isabel began concentrating on entering the dream plane. Tess looked around the dream plane and then glanced at Isabel. “Ready?” Tess asked Isabel
Isabel nodded and then her and Tess reached out with there mind’s for Zan.
Back in Roswell
Max curled up against Liz’s sleeping body. He couldn’t believe that they had just made love. Max sighed and pulled Liz closer and kissed her forehead. “I love you” max whispered to her as he fell into a deep sleep.

Isabel watched as a dream orb circled around her and she smiled. “I found him Tess” Tess’ head shot up as she saw an orb circling Isabel. “Are you sure it’s him and not someone else’s?” “Only one way to tell” Isabel pulled her and Tess into the dream orb.


Isabel looked around to see she was in a restaurant filled with alien memorabilia. Tess gasped at what she saw. Right over at the counter sat Max and Liz kissing passionately. Dream Max pulled away and said “I love you Liz forever” the dream version of Liz said “I love you” Isabel yanked her and Tess out of Max’s dream and back into reality. “Why did you do that Isabel we don’t know if that’s him, and who was that girl?” Tess complained. “That was him I would recognize my on brother anywhere’’ Isabel said “Michael we found him” Michael ran into the room “where is he?” “Roswell” Isabel stated.

Chapter 3a


Michael looked at Isabel “Roswell?” he repeated. “You can’t be serious, we have been searching everywhere for him and he was in Roswell?” “Yeah he was dreaming about a girl in an alien themed restaurant.” Isabel said. “It can’t be him it just can’t, why would he be dreaming of someone else. He should be dreaming of me I’m his wife. She’s just a stupid no good human. What could she have that I don’t?” Tess said ranting to no one in particular. Michael looked at Isabel “What’s she complaining about?” Michael asked. “Zan was dreaming about someone else and apparently his name is Max.” Michael shook his head with a smile on his face. “We have to contact Nasedo” Isabel nodded. “I can’t believe this there is no way Zan would be dreaming of a human no way.” Tess said while continuing her rant.


Roswell, NM

Liz smiled at Max as they pulled up in front of Maria’s house. “Max smiled and leaned over and kissed her. “I love you” max said kissing her neck. “I love you too I’ll see later” Liz said giggling. Liz pulled away and kissed him one last time before jumping out of the jeep and walked up to Maria’s. Max watched her go with a smile on his face.

Liz smiled as she entered Maria’s. “Hey Chica it looks like you had a good time. So what did you and lover boy do?” Liz blushed and said “nothing, I’m going to get dressed” “uh huh yea sure nothing then where did that hickey come from? Huh?” Maria asked teasing her best friend. Liz rolled her eyes and went into the bathroom with her duffle to get ready for school. Liz looked into the mirror and sighed. ‘It should be illegal to be this happy’ she thought. Liz took a quick shower, Liz pulled on her shirt and when her hand brushed against her stomach she got a flash. Liz gasped as she saw a baby; she looked down at her stomach in shock. There was a small almost tiny glowing hand print on here stomach. “Oh my god” Liz gasped. “Liz, are you alright? What happened?” Maria asked as Liz came out of the bathroom with this completely shocked expression on her face. “I’m pregnant” she said. Maria mouth just fell open “are you sure? Oh my god!” Maria said as she saw the glowing hand on her best friends stomach. ‘Were so lucky my mom is out of town’ Maria thought. Liz took a deep breath and said "What am I going to tell Max? Oh My God what about my parents? Maria what am I going to tell them?" Maria ran over and pulled Liz into a hug "it’s going to be just fine " 'at least I hope so' Maria thought. "Will figure something out"

Maria and Liz entered the school looking for Max. Liz automatically spotted him; he had been waiting for them to show up. He quickly walked up to them “what’s wrong? What happened?” He said completely worried from the look on Liz’s face. “I think you two should talk about this in private” Maria said giving max a pointed look. Max nodded and grabbed Liz’s hand and pulled her into the eraser room and sealed the door behind them. “Are you okay” he asked. Liz nodded “then what’s wrong Liz please talk to me?” Max begged. “I don’t know how to say this” “Liz, whatever it is we’ll work through it I promise” Liz nodded “I’m pregnant” Liz said while looking down waiting for his reaction. “You’re… Oh my god” Max said and quickly pulling her to him. “I… wow your pregnant” Max smiled and started raining kisses her all over her face. Liz looked up at him and gave a weak smile. “What are we going to tell everyone? Especially are parents this isn’t exactly a normal pregnancy? I mean my dads going to flip no matter what.” Liz said. “We’ll think of something all I know is I’m not going to let anything happen to you or our baby.” “Max I’m just worried this is going to tear us apart. Things have just begun to get better. What if…” “Nothing is going to come between us especially now. I love you and we’ll work this out”

Meanwhile back in Albuquerque

Nasedo looked at the three teens as he entered the old abandoned house. “What was so damn important that I had to get here so fast?” he said. “We found Zan he’s in Roswell.” Michael said. “It can’t be him, he was dreaming about some little human.” Tess said in a whining voice. Isabel rolled her eyes ‘well at least he’s happy’ she thought. “His name is Max. He looked like he was safe I didn’t feel any fear from him.”
“Who was this human he was dreaming about?” he asked. “I don’t know…” Isabel began but Tests quickly answered. “He called her Liz. Do you think she’s and alien that’s messing with his mind?” “I don’t know, it’s possible or she could just be some adolescent crush. It doesn’t matter we will be heading to Roswell in two days.” Nosed said. “Why do we have to wait, why not now?” Tess whined. “Because I need to cover our tracks, Zan’s been living as a human for far to long we don’t know if he knows how to use his powers. It’s too dangerous to just up and leave.”

Roswell

“So how did he take the news?” Maria asked. “He was happy I’ve never seen him that happy Maria” Liz replied rubbing her hand over her lower stomach. “Well that’s not all that surprising Max doesn’t have any family.” Maria said. “Maria he has us and his parents.” “Its not the same with his parents as it is with us. We're the only one who knows his secret. He now has someone he knows will always except him and never judge him.” “I know I’m just worried that our parents will try and split us up. I mean it’s hard enough already.” Liz said. Theirs a nock at the door Maria jumps up and runs to the door. She pulls open the door to find max there looking worried. “Is Liz here?” Maria nodded and pointed behind her. “Could you call Alex we need to have a meeting?” “Yeah what happened?” “I only want to explain it once okay.” Maria nodded again and took off to the phone; max walked over and saw Liz looking at him. “Max, is everything okay?” Liz asked. “I don’t know how are you feeling nothing strange happened?” “Were fine how about you, are you ok?” he nodded “I will be” he said as he leaned down and kissed her.

Alex showed up a few minutes later. “Okay, I’m here lets get down to business” he said as he plopped down in a chair. “Well I guess since you’re the only one of us who doesn’t know yet. Liz is pregnant.” Max said. Alex mouth just fell open and sat there. “Is that even possible I mean congratulations.” alex said while quickly correcting himself. Liz smiled at Alex. “Thanks, the reason I called this meeting is that I think we might be having company soon.” Max said. “You mean like human company right?” Maria said. “These two girls came into my dream last night.” “Alright max if this is about some fantasy.” Maria began “it wasn’t a fantasy they were aliens and I highly doubt I would want two girls show up when in my dream I was with Liz. I got a feeling that one was a relative from the feeling she was giving off and anger and jealously from the other. I just wanted to warn everyone just in case they show up.” Everyone looked at Max. “They have really great timing. All we need is an alien invasion right now” Maria said looking at Liz. Max looked at Liz and squeezed her hand. “We’ll get through this I just thought everyone should know.” Max said. “well what did they look like so if we see them we can get out of there and warn you?” alex said “they were blonde and one was short the other tall.” Max said. “I wasn’t really paying attention” max said while blushing. Maria shook her head.

Chapter 4


Roswell, NM
2 days later

Liz looked around the completely empty restaurant. The lunch rush had just ended and she was glad for the break. Liz walked over and placed her order for herself into Jose. The bell over the door signaling a new customer alerted her attention. Liz looked up to see three people walk in, two blonde girls and a guy with spiky hair. Liz froze when she saw them and her breath hitched in her throat. Max had told her that the girls that had entered his dream had been two blondes.

“Isabel is this the place?” Michael asked annoyed. Isabel nodded while saying “yeah it’s the same restaurant as in his dream” “Oh my god Isabel that’s the girl he was dreaming about” Tess whispered

Liz saw them talking and reached into her apron and grabbed her cell phone. She quickly dialed the familiar number.
“Hello?” Max answered.
“Max there here! The girls from your dream”
“What? Are you okay? Stay away from them. I will be right there. I Love you” He hung up before Liz could say anything else.

Liz noticed the shorter blonde start stalking towards her. “Hurry Max” she whispered.

“Tess, what are you doing” Isabel said while Michael and she chased after Tess.
“I’m gonna show her…”
Michael grabbed her arm stopping her from getting any closer.
“Your gonna show her what? All your gonna do is make Zan or Max whatever you want to call him feel like he can’t trust us. He obviously cares about her enough to have dreams about her. So grow up.” Michael said.

Liz released the breath she didn’t know she was holding whe3n she saw the guy with spiky hair stop the blonde and tell her something while the other blonde watched her carefully. Liz quickly glanced towards the door wandering where Max was.

Michael looked over at the brunette just in time to see her nervously glance toward the door. He noticed she looked scared, “she called him” he said out loud. “What? Michael what are you talking about?” Isabel said looking towards the brunette. “You guys screwed up. He must have seen you two in his dream. He must have warned her of new people matching your description.” Michael said. Isabel looked over and noticed her cell phone was in her hand.

Max slammed on his breaks as he pulled in a parking place. He threw the jeep into park and jumped out and ran towards the crashdown entrance. As he entered he looked around for Liz. He spotted her at the counter and made his way over to her.

Michael’s head snapped towards the door as the bell sounded signaling a new customer. “That’s him. Michael you where right” Isabel said as Tess just stared at him.

“Are you okay?” Max asked “I’m fine” Liz replied. “Where are they?” he asked. She nodded towards the three people headed their way. Michael, Isabel, and Tess watched as he ignored them and headed towards the brunette.

Max looked up to see the two girls from his dream and a guy he recognized but couldn’t place. He grabbed Liz’s arm and pulled he behind him. He didn’t trust the short blonde he didn’t know why he just got a bad vibe from her.
“who are you and what do you want?” Max asked looking at them. “you don’t remember me?” Tess said with a silky smile on her face. “No I don’t those two look familiar but not you.” Max said. Tess felt anger rage through her.
“who are you?” liz asked “who are you?” tess asked right back. “shes my girlfriend and who are you three?” Max said taking a step forward in front of liz. “I’m your sister Isabel and this is Michael a close friend and this is Tess” Isabel said
“Hi I’m Liz” liz said reaching out to shake Isabel’s hand. Isabel smiled at her. Liz looked at Michael and he nodded. Tess ignored her and slid up to Max and slid her hand up his chest. Liz saw it and felt her anger boiling. Green electricity started running up her arm. “I used to be your …” tess began. “what the hell is wrong with your arms” Michael said. Max yanked away from tess “Liz?” max began “I’m fine” she said as her eyes rolled back in her head and collapsed.

Chapter 5

Roswell, NM

“What’s wrong with her?” Isabel asked as she saw max pull out of the connection. “I want to know how she’s able to have powers. She human right?” Michael asked “She's fine, she was just a little overwhelmed and stressed.” Max answered. “You still didn’t answer my question. How does she have powers?” Michael said. Tess looked over at Max and then at the girl lying on the bed. “I think she has powers because she pregnant.” Max answered. “How would her being pregnant cause her to have powers?” Tess asked. Isabel and Michael’s eyes widened as they realized what Max meant. “The pregnancy causes her to have powers because she’s pregnant with my child.” Max stated looking at Tess. “That’s not possible I’m your wife there’s no way she can be pregnant with your child.” Tess argued “Tess! Shut up!” Isabel whispered Tess ignored Isabel and stepped towards Max “No I will not shut up; I am the one to bear your children not some human whore.” Tess said angrily while pointing at Liz’s sleeping form. Michael and Isabel’s eyes went wide. “Don’t you ever call her that!” Max said getting in Tess’ face. “Don’t call her what the truth. You’re just too blind to see what a f**king whore she really is.” Tess replied. “Tess knock it off, this is not why were hear. Were here to reunite the royal four not tear us up more.” Michael said pulling Tess away. “It’s our destiny Michael you and Isabel and me and Max all belong together. Not with humans.Thats what Nasedo has always said.” Tess shot back. “Who is Nasedo and what is the Royal four?” Max asked. Tess opened her mouth to say something but was interrupted by Liz starting to wake up. “Hmm what… How did I get up here?” Liz looked over to see Max, Michael, Isabel, and Tess standing in the middle of the room. Max rushed over to Liz as Isabel started towards her. “Are you okay?” both Max and Isabel asked at the same time. Max and Liz both looked over at Isabel in with shocked expressions on there faces. Isabel blushed nervously. “I’m fine just a little tired.” Liz replied. Tess rolled her eyes “humph” and stalked off. “Are you sure you’re alright?” Michael asked shocking everyone. Liz smiled and said “I’m sure, Thanks for asking.” Michael nodded and looked around nervously. “Ignore Tess she’s just jealous that you got to my brother first.” Isabel said. Liz looked at Isabel and nodded.


“He’s with some human and she’s pregnant. This is not what’s supposed to be happening he’s supposed to be with me and I’m supposed to carry his child. I’m will be Queen not some little Bitch.” Tess said angrily into her cell phone. “What do you mean he’s with a human?” Nasedo asked. “I mean he says she’s his girlfriend and she has powers. Powers!! How is that possible?” Tess exclaims. “I don’t know. I don’t know how this has happened” Nasedo said. “We need to get rid of her or the deal we have wont work” Tess said. “Wait maybe this could work out in our favor. Once she has that little shit then you get rid of her but make sure it looks like an accident. Then we can use that little shit as a way back home. Make sure they think they can trust you it will be easier to get rid of her with out you being a suspect. Make friends with her if you have too.” Nasedo said. “I can do that” Tess said. “Don’t mess this up Tess I don’t want to have to come down there to clean up your mess.” Nasedo said then hung up. Tess smirked as a plan formed in her mind.she quickly made her way out of the café and towards there car. She got in and headed towards the desert.two people stepped out from behind the counter. “ Oh my god we have to warn Liz!” and quickly made there into the back room and up stairs with a shocked looked on there face.

Chapter 6

Roswell, NM

Parker’s apartment above Crashdown

Maria and Alex ran up the stairs and burst into the apartment and headed towards Liz’s room.
“Liz!” Maria said as she ran into Liz’s room. “Call Max we need to have a Scooby meeting now!” They froze in the door way to Liz’s room. Isabel and Michael had raised there hands as soon as they had heard the door bust open. “Who are they?” Michael said. “That’s a good question, one that we should be asking about you.” Maria shot back. Max stood up from the bed and looked at Michael. “This is Maria and Alex there our friends. Guys this is Michael and Isabel” Max said. “Oh so you’re the aliens that were in Max’s dream I’m assuming the gerbil that was downstairs is with you too?” Maria said looking from Isabel to Michael. Michael looked over at Max and said “Is there anyone in this town who doesn’t know your and alien?” Max ignored him and looked at Maria and Alex “Why does Liz need to call a Scooby meeting?” “Oh the other blonde the one that was downstairs was on the phone with someone. She was talking to him about getting rid of Liz.” Alex said. Everyone in the room looked at Alex. “What are you talking about Tess would never betray us like that now that we have found Max.” Isabel said as she took a step forward. “No she would never betray us at all” Michael said. “Well that’s a great delusion you got there but, she’s planning on getting close to all of us then getting rid of Liz so no one will suspect her.” Maria said. “She would never do that she would never risk losing Max.” Isabel said “That’s why she’s doing it, she feels like she has nothing to lose since she doesn’t have Max” Liz said causing everyone to look at her. “I think we should talk about this somewhere else my parents could come home at any moment.” Liz continued. Max nodded “We can go to my house my parents are away for the weekend” Max said as he helped Liz up.

Roswell Desert Inn Room 18

Tess walked around the hotel room, ringing her hands nervously. She walked up the phone. She glanced down at the phone book and dialed the number.
“Hi you’ve reached Liz I’m not in right now so leave a message and I’ll get back to you when I can.”
She hung up the phone and smiled. She grabbed her jacket and took off out of the room. She climbed into her car and headed towards the Crashdown.

Chapter 7


Tess looked around to make sure no one was watching then she carefully made her way up the lader to the balcony of the Parker home.When she reached the top she carefully made her way to the window. She placed her hand on the window and used her powers to unlock it. She pulled up the window and climbed in.

She looked around the room. "geez boring" she mumbled. she heade over to the nightstand and started going through the drawers. When she glanced at the top of the night stand she froze. She reached up and grabbed the picture frame. Inside was a picture of max and liz in each others arms kissing. She glared at the picture and waved her hand over it changing Liz's face to hers smiled and then changed it back. "Soon" She whispered. Tess got fed up with looking through her nightstand began looking underneath her bed, in her dresser drawers, anywhere she could think of. 'where could she have hidden it?' Tess thought. She lifted up the mattress and checked she didn't find what she was looking for. "Damnit!!!" Tess yelled. Her head shot up. there was someone coming towards the door. She turned and climbed out the window and over the edge down the latter. Mr. Parker walked in to his daughters room and walked up to the window and looked out. "Hmm I could have sworn I heard someone in here" He closed the window and locked it and headed back down stairs.

"Do you guys know where we live?" Maria asked. "No, the crashdown was the only thing we saw in Max's dream"
Isabel explained.
"So lets head to my house my parents are out of town we can talk safely there." Max said. Max turned the corner and headed towards his house.
Max pulled into his driveway and hopped out. Marias car pulled up behind them. Maria, Liz, and Alex hopped out and headed toward the house with everyone else.

Max closed the door after him and locked it. He started walking toward the living room. Liz looked up from where she sat on the loveseat. Max walked over and sat down next to her. He grabbed her hand and squezed. "So tell me what you heard Tess talking about over the phone."Max said "and I want to know specifics not just the jist." he finished. "She was talking to someone about Liz and you and how Liz was in your way of excepting your destiny, then she went weird and started talking about the plan on how to deal with Liz, Pssh like shes the problem" Maria said.
"In Maria language that means they basically talked about the plan to get rid of Liz" Alex said.
"Get rid of, Like kill her?" Isabel said.
"Im not sure but thats what it seemed like." Alex said.
"Well I guess the next thing we should do is try and figure out what to do with the Tess problem" Max said.
"I think we shouldnt let on that we know I think that we should see what she plans on doing untill we can come up with a plan to stop her." Liz said.
"Lizzie thats dangerous what if she gets tired of the plan and decides to come after you when she feels like it." Maria said. "Then we keep a close eye on Liz, shes to never be left alone one of us should always be with her we cant let Tess or our enemies get ahold of the baby or... Liz" Michael said.
"Deal so we should all keep a close eye on Tess I dont want any of you alone with her until we can figure out what shes up to." Max said. Everyone nodded.
