Part 1

Liz examined the wedding photos. She was so happy, her life couldn’t have been better. Max came into the room and sat down next to Liz.

“What are you doing?”

“Just looking at photos”
He snuggled up next to his wife. He hadn’t seen her all day Max missed her deeply.
He kissed her softly on the cheek.

Liz Kissed max softly on the lips. She loved her husband deeply, and she would do anything for him and their son.

“Where’s Danny”

“He’s at Anna’s house studying”

“Good, then we have some time alone”

Liz smiled as Max kissed her again. He loved the way she smiled, and it made him want her even more.


Danny Tapped his pencil against the book, He couldn’t study. Anna came into the room with two cans of Soda.

“I don’t why you don’t just use your powers to scan that into your brain or something.”
Anna said as she popped open the soda.

“Unlike you I like to do things the normal way”

“Do you realize were not normal?”

“I’ve known that all my life”

Anna heard her mother Maria screaming at her to come down stairs.

“Well my mother is calling”

Anna went down stairs and noticed her mother at the kitchen table. She didn’t look too happy.

“Anna we need to talk”
“About what?”

“About you skipping school”

“What?”

“Don’t play stupid with me”

“Ok you caught me, I skipped 6th period”

“Why”

“Because I felt like it”

“That’s not a good reason”

“Ok I won’t do it again”

Anna went back up to her room. Danny knew something was up.

“Let me guess you were caught skipping”

“Correct! Show him what you won”

Anna sat down on the bed next to Danny. Danny sat up and looked at Anna. He knew something else was on her mind.

“Is there something else you want to talk about?”

“Do you ever wonder about your alien side?”

“No I know everything I need to know. Liz parker Evans is my mom and she is human and Max Evans is my father and he’s not so human”

“I know all that. But I mean have you ever had visions or flashes lately”

“No why have you?”

“I don’t know I can’t really tell what they are sometimes”

“You had one?’

“More then One”

“Do you think someone is sending them to you?”

“I don’t know that s just it! If I talk to my dad about this he’ll just start freaking and start this goose chase for another Alien”

“I’ll talk to my father about it”

Part 2


The desert was an endless vas plain. Anna looked up and noticed the sky was rapidly changing. One minute it was day the next it was night. She looked in the distance and saw someone. It was someone she didn’t recognize. He came closer to her she. For some reason she was drawn to this person. His soulful eyes looked deep into his dirty blond hair stood out.

“Who are you?” Anna whispered.

“The Signs are out there. They are all around you. Watch for them”

Anna looked down and saw the weird symbols that looked familiar to her. She had seen them before, they were the ones her father had shown her when she was little.

“Is this my destiny?” She said out loud. She woke up to the annoying sound of her alarm clock buzzing. She hit the snooze button, and lay back down in her bed. What did all this mean? She kept seeing the Mysterious guys face over and over again in her head. Was someone really sending her signals?

Danny sat at the breakfast table eating a plate of Pancakes, with Whipped Cream topped with Tabasco sauce and Strawberries. Liz Parker Sat across from her son admiring him.

“Mom, Stop watching me”

“I’m sorry but I can’t help it your so much like your father”

“You tell me that everyday”

Max sat down at the kitchen table and Smiled at his son and Liz, he leaned over the table and gave Liz a kiss.

“Mom, Dad, none of that Kissing crap please”

“I’m sorry does it gross you out “Max said laughing.

“Seeing your parents kiss kind of does.”

“Were just being Normal Parents” Liz said hugging her son to death.

“Yeah you are normal parents except for the whole alien thing on one side”

‘That makes you special” Max said Going to the fridge to get a glass of Orange juice.
“Yeah if you say so” there was a slight knock on the Front door.

“Who could that be at this time in the morning?” Liz went to the front door and opened it She was surprised to see Anna Guerin on her Doorstep.

“Anna what are you doing here?”

“Is Danny here I need to talk to him”

Danny came up to the door and went outside with Anna. He could tell there was something going on.

“What is it?”

“These dreams or what ever you want to call them”

“You had another one? What was it about?”

Anna Paced back and fourth in front of Danny. Danny could see she was a nervous reck.

“I’m not sure, I was in the desert, This Mysterious man Approaches me and say’s something about watching out for the signs that they are every where. Oh god what if this has something to do with our destiny’s.”

“We don’t have Destiny’s like our fathers did. We choose ours just like they did”

“It still doesn’t change the fact that we are part Alien Danny”

“Your Right it doesn’t. But you can’t let this worry you too much”

“I guess your right. I’ll see you later”

Anna Walked away, Danny knew that there was more to this then he knew. Why was Anna having dreams and not him? It all didn’t make sense.

Danny went back into the house. He sat back at the table. Max Knew something was wrong he could see it in his son’s eyes.

“Something’s wrong with Anna”

“She’s been having these dreams”

“Dreams? Alien Dreams?”

“Yeah, she told me she had a dream where a Mysterious man visited her in the desert. He told her there were signs every where and to watch for them”

“Tell Anna to be careful, she may be in danger”

“In danger from what?”

“I’ve to go talk to Michael and Maria about this I’ll be back”

Max Grabbed his coat and headed out the door. Danny followed him.

Part 3

Max Stood in Michaels and Maria’s Apartment Anna walked in and noticed everyone gathered in the middle of the room.

“What’s going on?” Anna said curiously.

“Danny Told me your having dreams” Michael said with concern in his voice, he was trying to sound worried for his daughter.

“Dad, They don’t mean anything, there just dreams”

“Then why do you look so freaked out about every time we mention them”

“I don’t know because maybe I’m afraid they have something to do with my alien side”

Anna plopped down on the couch next to Danny. Max stepped forward and started to say something.

“They mean something Anna. You could be in danger” Max said.

“I don’t think so, the guy in my dream he seemed like he knew me. I don’t think he would have hurt me”

“We still have to be careful; we don’t know what these dreams really mean”

“I don’t want to hear this crap about Destiny’s. You had a destiny dad and choose not to follow it. If I have a destiny it won’t be the alien destiny.”

Anna quickly got up and went to her room, Danny followed her. Max could see that Michael was concerned for Anna, and he also knew that there was much more to these dreams.

“You really think that our enemies are trying to attack us by using Anna or Danny?”

Michael asked curiously. Max wasn’t sure all he knew was that he needed to keep both of them safe from any danger.

“We have to watch out for the signs. And make sure that Danny and Anna aren’t in any danger”

Part 4

The Next day at school, Anna Picked at her lunch. Danny Knew that the dream thing was still on her mind.

“You need not to think about”

“I can’t help it. This mystery guy I saw in the dream made feel safe. I felt tings I’ve never felt before Danny”

“What Type of things”

“Like feelings and emotions, I felt like I loved him”

“But you don’t know him”

“I know it’s weird” Danny looked up and noticed someone standing next to him. He recognized the person as the new kid.

“Hey it’s Danny Evans Right? I’m Ryan, Can I sit here?”

“Sure”

His face Caught Anna’s Attention, she looked up and noticed it was the guy from her dream. She Started to freak out and Knocked over her Cup of Soda all over the ground.

“You must be Anna” Ryan said as Anna picked the cup off the ground.

“Yeah”

“I’m pretty new so I don’t many people”

Danny noticed that Anna was uptight and nervous.

“So Ryan where are you from” Danny asked. Anna Quickly got up and said,

“I’m going to go get another drink”

“Hold that thought” Danny said as he followed Anna. He caught up with her at the concession stand.

“What is wrong with you?”

“Danny he’s the guy from my dream”

“You’re kidding right”

“If I was kidding I wouldn’t be acting this way”

Ryan Noticed them talking, he also noticed Anna’s Notebook sitting on the Table. He quickly flipped to a blank page. He placed the palm of his hand on the page and instantly burned a symbol into the page, and then he quickly closed the book. Almost every night he visited Anna In her dreams. She was Beautiful, and she got more beautiful everyday. She he had to know. That she would be married to him in the future and they would be happily in love.

Anna and Danny came back to the table. Ryan Smiled at Anna.

“So you were telling us where you’re from”

“Oh yeah, I’m from New York originally. My Father Has Business here. We move around a lot so I don’t get a chance to have friends, hopefully we will be here for a while”

“What does your father do?” Anna asked trying not to look at him.

“Well he owns various shops in different places. He wants to start his own shop here in Roswell”

“That’s cool” Danny said
The bell rang; Ryan quickly got up and threw his trash out.

“Well I’m off to Biology” Ryan said.

“What teacher “Danny Asked

“Mr. Marks”

“Anna isn’t you going that way?”

“Yeah I’ll show you”

Anna picked up her things and Headed towards the Biology lab. Ryan followed.
Anna sat her usual seat and Ryan was told to sit in back next to Christina Martin.
Anna Felt relieved that he wasn’t her partner.

She laid her notebook on the table and opened it. The book opened the symbol that Ryan had put on the Page. Anna looked down at the strange symbol. It was definitely an alien symbol. She quickly closed the book and got up and raised her hand.

“Mr. Marks may I use the bathroom before we start class”

“I guess since you asked before we started”

Mr. Marks handed her a pass and Anna went out into hall and towards the bathroom. She went into one of the stalls and made sure it was locked. She sat on the toilet and closed her eyes. She had to contact Danny. Instantly she was in Danny’s Class room. Math with Mrs. Turner, Anna glanced over at the teacher and made sure she didn’t see her. She went towards Danny. Danny looked up noticed Anna standing there. He knew that she was using her powers to contact him.

“Danny listen this important. Use your powers to talk to me”

Danny Glanced around and made sure that no one was looking and closed his eyes and made a connection. He used his powers to make it look like he was working when he was really standing there talking to Anna. It was like he was in two places at once.

“What’s going on?”

“This is what’s going”

She waved her hand in the air and used her powers to form the symbol in the air to show Danny.

“Where did you see that?”

“Ryan left it in my notebook”

Ryan Paced back and Fourth in His House. His foster father wasn’t home which was a good thing there was a slight knock on the door. Ryan went to answer it. He opened the door to see Isabel’s face.

“We need to talk” She said as she came into the room.

“About what?”

“You can’t be here. I heard that you were visiting Anna in her dreams”

“Yeah so”

“You’re freaking everyone out. They think Anna is in danger”

“She’s not; I just wanted her to know”

“Yeah to know that you are my son. The son that I had with Alex”

“No one will ever know, trust me”

“It has to stay that way”

She hugged Ryan tightly and left the room. Ryan closed the door behind her.
All he could think about was Anna. Anna was his Destiny there was no doubt about it.

Anna was busy cleaning her room; there was a soft knock on her window. She turned to see Danny standing there.

“Hey”

“Hey”

“Are u busy?”

“Not really, just cleaning up a little”

“I thought maybe we could grab a bite to eat at the crashdown”

“That would be great. I need something to eat, I haven’t eaten anything “

Michael Watched Maria Fold clothes in the living room. He couldn’t believe after all this time he And Maria were still together.

“Hey need help with that” He asked grabbing some clothes.

“Since when did you start helping with the laundry”

“I kind of want to talk to you too”

“About?”

“Us”

“This isn’t going to break my heart is it?”

“No, I couldn’t break your heart again after everything that’s happen”

“Then what is it?”

“I was thinking maybe we should make it official, we should be married”

Maria dropped the clothes on the floor in shock. Did she really hear the word married come out of Michael’s mouth?

“Oh my god! Are you serious?”

“Yes”

Maria jumped up and down and kissed Michael on the cheek.

“I can’t believe this!”

Michael picked Maria up and kissed her passionately.

“You better believe it”

Anna Came into the living, she noticed that her mom was all exited.

“What’s going on why are you so happy?”

“Oh nothing Anna we will tell you later”

“Ok Umm I’m going to the Crashdown and Grab a burger with Danny”

“Ok be back soon”

“Ok”

Anna didn’t know what was going on with her parents. But she knew it was something good. She grabbed her coat and headed out the door. Danny was going to meet her at the crashdown, as she headed towards the Crashdown which was a few blocks a way she ran into Ryan.

“Hi” she said softly.

“Hi Anna Right?”

“Yeah”

“I was wondering what the food was like at the crashdown?”

“Its good, Danny’s grandparents own it”

“Wow, can I grab a burger with you”

“Only if you explain something’s to me”

“Things?”

“Yeah Like why you visit me in my dreams every night”

“What?”

“Don’t play dumb”

Ryan Knew she would eventually have the nerve to talk to him about this.

“I can’t tell you everything, but I can tell you this”

He took Anna‘s Hand, she felt this fluttery sensation go threw her. It’s started to rain, and they were starting to get soaked from head to toe.

“Why are you doing this to me?”

“Because we are destined to be together.”

Ryan could feel her heart beating so fast. How could they be destined to be together? Anna looked into his eyes and saw her soul. She let go of his hand.

“No, we aren’t anything. I don’t even know you”

“Wait! We are I can make you see”

He looked into her eyes and made a connection with her. She started getting Flashes, she saw herself in the future, with Ryan. She saw moments that haven’t even happened yet.

“Oh god”

Ryan broke the connection.

“You see”

Anna turned and walked away not sure what to think. Her Parents always talked about destiny fate and what it would have been like if Michael wasn’t with Maria and if Liz wasn’t with Max.

Anna Finally made it to the crashdown; she sat down across from Danny in one of the booths.

“Something wrong?” he asked her. Her face was blushed and she looked different.

“No nothing”

“Don’t lie something happened”

“Danny I don’t want to talk about it. Ok I don’t want share my feelings with you or anyone else”

“Now you’re starting to sound a lot like your father”

“Don’t push it”

“Ok”

“Ok maybe I do want to tell you something but you can’t tell anyone, not max not my dad, not anyone”

“Ok your secrets safe with me”

“I saw my destiny and it’s with Ryan”

“What?”

“He’s the one I’m destined to be with”

“How do you know?”

“He made a connection with me. I saw things Danny things that haven’t eve happened yet”
“Like what”

“Like things, personal things, Things I really don’t want to talk”

“You can’t be sure he is who he says he is. He may be one of our enemies”

“I don’t think so Danny”

“How do you know?”

“I just know”

Part 6

Ryan sat in his bedroom thinking. There was a soft knock on his door.

“What do you want?”

“It’s Me Teresa”

Teresa Martin, the daughter of Ryan’s Foster Dad, came into the room. She climbed over the pile of laundry that was on floor to get to Ryan.

“What is your problem? You look so pathetic”

“You wouldn’t understand”

Teresa was too human to understand. She hide no idea what Ryan was going through. And she had no idea that He was part Alien. If she did she would freak out.

“Try me”

“Teresa why don’t you go away”

“Grouchy are we!”

“I told you, you wouldn’t understand”

“Fine, you know that Guy you met at school, what was his name Danny Evans? He’s coming over here to help me play catch up in school so I won’t get behind”

“Ok, does your dad know?”

“Yes, and he said he was going go run errands”

“Ok I have to go do something I’ll be back in about an hour”

“Go where? And do what?”

“Do I Have to tell you everything”

“Yes you do! If I’m going to be your sister “

“You’re not my sister”

Ryan grabbed his coat and headed out the door. What was wrong with him? He couldn’t just go visit Anna. He just wanted to be with her one more time, and feel that connection he felt with her, the way her eyes lit up when they connected.

Anna Laid on her bed holding her favorite stuffed animal she had since she was little. Her thoughts kept drifting back to Ryan. How could they be destined to love each other?
Every fiber in her being wanted to be with him, but something deep down kept saying you can’t be with him, you choose your own destiny.

Ryan knocked on The Front door of Michael and Maria’s apartment. Maria answered the door.

“Can I help you?”

‘Is Anna home I’m Ryan a friend”

“Yeah she’s in her room I’ll get her”

Maria went to Anna’s room she opened the door and went in.

“Anna Ryan is here to see you”

“Ryan, ok I’ll be there in a minute”

Anna didn’t want to see Ryan, but deep down she truly wanted to see him again.

Finally she got the courage to go to the front door.
She came out and closed the front door behind her and stood in the hall with Ryan.

“What are you doing here?”

“I needed to see you again”

“Well you can’t”

“You didn’t tell them about me being in the dreams did you?”

“They know about this mysterious man in my dreams but they don’t know its you”

“If this gets out they will think that I’m a danger to you”

“They already think that. But are you a danger to me?”

“I’m not”

Ryan smiled and looked deep into Anna’s Eyes.
“I have to go”

“Wait” Ryan took Anna Arm and pulled her close to him, and then he softly kissed her on the Cheek.

“What was that for?”

“Nothing I just felt like doing it”

Anna went back into the apartment and closed the door behind her.
Isabel sat across from Michael in the crashdown. Michael knew something was on her mind. He was the only one that new about Isabel’s child with Alex.

“Is this about Ryan” Michael asked.

“Yes, I just don’t want him getting close to Anna”

“Don’t worry I’ll make sure he won’t”

“Don’t do anything stupid Michael, because if you do he will run I’ll never see him again”

“Who said I was going to do anything stupid?”

“I know you Michael”

“You know me to well”

Isabel sipped on her shake, she noticed Danny coming in through the crashdown doors

“Hey”

“Hey”

“Can we talk Michael about Anna?”

“What about her?”

“The dreams she has been having been getting more intense. She seems to think that they are showing her destiny”

“Really, are you sure?”

“Yes, the guy she saw in he dreams is the Ryan the new guy at school”

‘And she told you this”
“Yes, he made a connection with her the other day. I thought maybe you should know”

“He made her see Flashes?” Isabel asked curiously.

“Yeah, she said she saw things, Things that haven’t yet happened. She wouldn’t tell me what they were”

“I have to go talk to her” Michael quickly got up and left the crashdown. Danny followed him.

“You can’t I promised her I wouldn’t tell anyone”

“It doesn’t matter Danny, Ryan can’t be a part of her Destiny! Things will happen, things we can’t control”

“Is there something you know that I don’t?”

“No, if there was you would know”

Isabel Paced back and fourth in the living room of her place. Ryan came in through the door.

“What did you think you were doing making a connection with her?”

“Don’t worry everything is going to be ok” Ryan said.

“No it’s not Ryan you don’t understand. If you two Share a moment tings will happen”

“Who says were sharing a moment? Is there something I don’t know?”

“Ryan, you are destined to be with Anna. In A coupled of years from now she will have your child, and this child will become one of our enemies”

“What?”

“Do I have to repeat myself?”

“How is this?”

“The child will grow up, and our enemies will turn him against us”

“How do you know this? Did you have another one of those weird alien Visions from your weird new powers?”

“Yes”

Part 7

Danny Sat at The Kitchen table thinking. Ever since He had the study Date with Teresa Martin, he couldn’t stop thinking about her. He looked up at the clock and realized that she would be over any minute. He had to get his mind straight, he couldn’t think be with her. She’s just a friend, a friend that happens to be extremely attractive and he’s only known for about three days now. The door bell rang and Danny went to answer it.

He was expecting to see Teresa but instead her saw Anna behind the door.

“Anna? What are you doing here?”

“I need someone to talk too. This thing with Ryan is driving me insane”

“Anna this isn’t a good time I’m kind of expecting company”

“Who?”

“Teresa Martin”

“Teresa Martin? As In Ryan Martins Foster sister?”

“That would be her”

“Ok well I see you have more important things on your mind then the alien Drama I’m going through”

“It’s not that you’re not important”

“I Get It Danny Bye”

Anna Let frustrated and Mad, Danny didn’t know what to do. He couldn’t have Teresa and Anna In the same room together, especially since she doesn’t know about the alien factor.

Michael waited in Anna’s room. He admired the picture that was taken of her And Danny at the Crash festival last year. He couldn’t believe that his little girl was almost grown up. Anna came into the room and Noticed Michael standing there.

“What are you doing?”

“Waiting for you, we need to talk”

“About what?”

“About the dreams you were having and about Ryan”

“Ryan?”

“Don’t play stupid with Me Anna you know who I am talking about”

“So you know then?”

“I knew for a while, that you and Ryan have a Destiny. But it isn’t going to happen”

“What?”

“You heard me, you and Ryan can’t be together, there are forces out there you don’t understand, forces that will put us in Danger if you two are together”

“We are Not together why are you freaking about this?”

“I have to be careful; we all have to be careful Anna.”

“I’m so sick of this; there is no danger with me being with Ryan.”

“I don’t want you near him he could be dangerous, you don’t know anything about him”

“I knew Danny would open his big mouth”

“Danny didn’t tell me, I already knew”

“Great, fine whatever”

“You have to understand Anna”

“Fine! I understand Now get out!”

Michael left the room and Anna Slammed the Door behind him. She was so angry with Michael. She could feel a surge of Power running through her. The light bulb in her lamp blew and Anna Jumped scared by the blow. Anna Crawled out the window and Climbed the down the side of the building. She didn’t know where she was going all she knew was that she needed to clear her head.

Maria watched Michael closely; she knew that there was something he was keeping from her.

“Michael, is there something you want to tell me?”

“No, why?”

“Because I can tell when you’re keeping something from me. You’ve been avoiding me all day”

“I haven’t I just have a lot on my mind”

“You’re not having doubts about us being married are you?”

“No, it’s about Anna”

“What about her?”

“She’s been having dreams, alien dreams, she saw her destiny and it’s with this kid named Ryan”

“The new guy at school, I heard her mention something about him to Danny the other day”

“Yeah well he’s an alien too, and she can’t get close to him”

“Why?”

“Because”

“That’s not a good reason”

“Do I always have to tell you everything Maria?”

“Fine, I’m going down to the Crashdown to help Liz out with something”

“Fine”

Danny Felt uncomfortable Around Teresa, He felt nervous. Quietly they studied not saying anything. But Danny could tell she wanted to say something.

“Danny is this how were going to keep having these study dates?”

“What?”

“You don’t say anything And I don’t say anything to you”

“No it’s just that I have noting to say at the moment”

“Really?”

“Yeah Really?”

“You need to have some fun Danny, you’re too mysterious, and it’s like your hiding something”
“I’m not hiding anything”

“You know you can show me the real you”

“If I did you wouldn’t be here now”

He closed the text book and Went into the kitchen to get a soda. Teresa thought she was getting some where with him.

“You know there are so many stories I hear about your parents and you Aunt Isabel, and the former sheriff valenti”

Danny looked her with a serious look, she that would catch his attention.

“What stories” Danny said as he popped the can of soda open.

“Like the crashdown story, your mother was shot and someone came up to her put there on her stomach and healed her”

“That’s some stupid alien story two crazy Alien hunting tourists made up to get everyone’s attention. Why do you buy into that crap?”

“I believe it”

“Well don’t because there is noting believe”

Teresa laughed and closed her text book, she wanted to hear Danny’s version of the story.

“Well then tell me your version”

“My mother wasn’t shot, she fell and a bottle of ketchup broke all over her”

“Believe what you want to be believe”

“That’s the truth”

“It’s a lie and you know it”

“Who told you all this?”

“I heard some people talking about it outside of the crashdown yesterday”

“Don’t believe what you hear”

“This town is the alien capital of the world “

“Yeah so”

Danny went back to studying his book, Teresa Closed the book in front of him; she looked him in the eyes and smiled.

“You sit here and tell me you don’t believe in anything that people say around here”

“That’s what I am telling you”

“You’re unbelievable”

“Can we not talk about Aliens?”

“Oh you’re so hiding something”

‘What could I possibly be hiding other than the fact that I will probably fail if you don’t stop talking and let me study?”

“You hang around with that Guerin girl too much”

“If you want to talk about hiding something why don’t you talk to Ryan? Maybe he is hiding something from you”

“I would know if he was”

“Are you sure”

Ryan Knocked On The front door of the Anna’s home. He knocked at least twice, then Michael Answered it.

“What do you want?”

“I know you want to beat the crap out of me”

“Only if you get too close to my daughter”

“Isabel told me about the Visions, I stay away from her and keep anything from happening”

“Good that’s the way it should be”

In the back of Ryan’s Mind he knew he wouldn’t be able to stay away from Anna. The only way he would be able to go near her would be in her dreams at night.

The Day was going all wrong for Danny. He threw his books into his Locker in frustration. Anna wasn’t speaking; every teacher seemed to be on his case about something and the looks that Teresa Kept giving him was driving him Insane.
Teresa came up to him in the hall as he slammed his locker door.

“Tough d ay”

“No just an Average day”

“Doesn’t look like it”

“Is there something you want Teresa?”

“No not really”

“Liar”

“Ok there is something, I was wondering if you would go see a movie a movie with me Friday night”

“As a date or as a friend thing”

“Either or you decide, pick me up at 7”

“I never said yes”

Michael scanned the Headline of the Roswell Newspaper.
In big bold print the headline read “New sheriff for the Town Of Roswell”

“Great I wonder if this one will be on our side like Valenti or will he be an alien hunter” Michael said as he threw the paper in the trash. He was on his break from his job at the crashdown.
Maria came into the back where Michael was. She sat Next to Michael; he could see that she was worried.

“Stop being worried it drives me insane”

“Who said I was worried, I didn’t say a word”

“You have that face”

“What Face?”

“Never mind”

Michael went back to his duty as fry cook.
Danny Noticed Ryan coming his way, he stopped him in the hall.

“We need to talk”

“I’m doing what Michael says and I am staying away”

“It’s not that”

“Then what?”

“Why do I have this feeling there is more I don’t know about you”

“That’s because there is”

“I want to know, everything. Why you’re here? Why you think that Anna and you are destined to be together”

“All I know is my mother had this vision”

“You’re foster Mother?”

“No My real mother who lives right here in Roswell”

“What?”

“Maybe you know her; she goes by the Name of Isabel Evans”

“Isabel can’t be your mother? If she’s your mother then who is your father?”

“Put two and two together Danny, I’m Part you know what so it had to be a human”

“Alex Whitman”

“Bingo!” The bell for the next class period rang. Ryan Went down the hall towards his next class. Danny Hadn’t processed everything he was just told. Danny stopped him quickly.

“Does anyone else know?”

“Michael is the only one”

“And he didn’t tell my dad”

“No I wasn’t supposed to exist to anyone. That is why Isabel gave me up for adoption when I was born. I have to go or I will be late for class”

Part 9 –

Teresa Couldn’t Sleep, She glanced at her alarm clock and noticed it was after Midnight. She didn’t hear Ryan in the next room so she figured that he was fast asleep. ‘Highly unlikely’ she thought. ‘He doesn’t go to bed till 2am’. Teresa opened her drawer and pulled out a thick black journal with a purple butterfly design on the front. This journal was precious to her, it was the very last thing her mother had gave her before she died.

She opened the journal to a blank page and started writing.

Journal entry 1

It’s been a while since I have written in a journal, especially this journal. Ever since we’ve moved to Roswell New Mexico things have been different. Ryan still acts the same, he doesn’t seem happy that he is the new martin family member. But lately he has been acting even stranger than usual. It’s like he is hiding something. Roswell New Mexico has made me more curious. Curious as to what the world holds, what deep dark secrets lay in this town. I have become friends with this interesting guy named Danny Evans. It has been nice talking to him and I somewhat got to know him, the couple weeks that I’ve known him. But something about him interests me. I mentioned to him that I heard rumors about a certain incident that happened several years at the local café here in Roswell. The incident involved his mother. He started acting strange when I mentioned it. The story goes like this, Danny’s’ mother was shot in the café and someone came up to her and healed her. At least that is what some wacky alien tourist or local roswellian had told me.

I don’t know whether to believe it or not. But Danny seems to know more than what he is telling. Maybe Danny is an Alien?
Man! I am starting go crazy, I must be lacking sleep. I’m starting to believe that normal people are aliens.

Danny couldn’t sleep either; He laid on his back staring at the ceiling. He closed his eyes and started drifting off to sleep. Anna looked through the window. She knew that Danny was half asleep. She used her powers to unlock the window. She opened the window and crawled through. She Stumbled and fell plat on her face and yelped in pain. Danny jumped out of bed and was ready to use his powers against Anna.

“Who’s there?”

“Who do u think?” Anna said as she touched her face.

“What are you doing here it’s after midnight”

“I was trying to crawl through your window without hurting myself”

“Besides that, what do you want it’s after midnight”

“I know what time it is. I couldn’t sleep, and besides we need to talk”

“I thought you didn’t want to talk to me” Danny said as switched the light on.

“You’re the only friend I have I can’t stay mad at you for long. Were practically siblings we have grown up together”

“I know you didn’t come here past midnight to talk about our friendship”

“I just wanted you to know that I’m staying away from Ryan. I know that things will be still and nothing will happen if I stay away from him. I really don’t want to cause trouble.”

“Ok, you know you could have told me this in the morning on the way to school or something”
“Yeah I know but, But I realized that If I followed my destiny it will cause more trouble for and you”

Danny looked at her confused, why was he in this middle of this.

“Trouble for you and me? I have nothing to do with this I haven’t seen my destiny”

“I figure this, we both have a destiny, and sooner or later you’re going to know about it. Its like this, we are both destined to be with a certain someone just like our parents. You know the whole story max with tess, Isabel with dad story”

“But it didn’t turn out that way Anna.”

“I know, But it’s different with us because were more human then our parents,”

“Where are you going with this?”


“Apparently no where to you”

“Now Can I get some sleep”

Ryan Couldn’t go to school not in the condition he was in. Teresa banged on his bedroom door several times, he quickly pulled his pillow over his head and ignored her.

“Ryan we have to go or we will be late”

“I’m not going”

Teresa finally pushed the door opened and let herself in.

“And why not? You know dad will freak if you don’t go to school”

“Well “Ed” will just have to freak. There is a reason why I’m not going I have things I have to do”

“And what would be more important then school”

“I don’t have to tell you anything”

“Does it have to do with someone named Anna Guerin?”

“What? Why would it have anything to do with her?”

“Don’t play dumb, I see the way you look at her”

“Yeah well look at the way you look at her so called brother”

“Whatever At Least just drop me off at school”

“Nope sorry I’m taking the car”

Ryan pushed Teresa out of his room so he could change

“You’re such a jerk!” she yelled through the door.


“Start walking or you will be late” Ryan yelled.

Danny was already twenty minutes late they both jumped into the jeep and headed off. As they were heading towards the school Danny noticed Teresa walking.
“Danny doesn’t even think about.” Anna Said trying to get Danny to keep driving.

“I can’t let her walk and be later then we are”

Danny pulled the jeep up towards Teresa.

“Need a Ride?”

“Yeah” Teresa said as she jumped into the back of the jeep. It was Quiet on the way to the school. Teresa could sense some tension between Anna and herself.

“Why do I have a feeling that I am not very liked with you Anna?” Teresa asked out of the blue.

“Why do you say that?”

“I don’t know”

They pulled up in front of the school and Teresa jumped out

“Thanks for the ride” She said as she headed towards the entrance.

“Wait” Danny said stopping Teresa.

“What? It’s bad enough that your sister seems to hate me”

“She is just upset about things that’s all she doesn’t hate you”

“What ever you say See you in class”


All Teresa could see was pure hatred in Anna’s eyes. She that there was more to Danny and Anna then meets the eye.

Ryan Drove to the cementary where his father Alex Whitman was buried. He stood in front of the grave stone.

“What do I do now? I wish you were here to give some encouragement and advice”
Ryan said out loud as he kneeled in front of the grave.

“I can’t stay away from Anna. She’s all I think about she is my destiny”

Ryan felt stupid talking out loud to his fathers’ grave stone. He wished his father was here with his mother so they could be one big happy family.
Isabel came up beside Ryan. She had followed him to the cementary.

“If he was Alive today he would have really loved you”

“Yeah just like you loved me? Why did you give me up?”

“I had to I had no choice. When I found out I was pregnant I started having the visions. Then Alex died before you were born”

“Every night I would lay awake thinking what a happy family would have been”

“You have e a family now; the martins want to take you in”

“I want to be part of your family”

“I wanted you to live a normal life with parents that weren’t always in danger”

“Fine I will live the normal life you so wished for me even though I am not normal at all”

Back at west Roswell High, Anna Sat with Danny at Lunch. The Day was just going perfect for her. She failed her math Test, She kept thinking about Ryan all through History and she had detention After school for falling asleep in class.
“This day sucks!” Anna said as she threw her books on the table.Danny laughed looking at the expression on her face.
“bad day?”
“Of course, First I fail my math Test, then all I think about Is Ryan In history and I start dreaming about him and I fall asleep in class and Mrs Stevenson gives me Detention!”
“Ouch!” Danny said laughing. Someone came up behind them, Anna looked up and noticed the girl with the Deepbalck hair and deep brown eyes.
“Hi, I'm Ashlee Rains, I somewhat new here “ Anna smiled and replied,
“I've seen you around, I'm Anna Guerin and this Danny Evans” Anna said as she nudged Danny In the shoulder.
“Ohh Hi”Danny said
“Can I sit with you guys” Ashlee asked.
“Uhh Sure, I guess”
Anna Made a seat for her. Danny smiled at her looking deep into hers. For some reason Danny was drawn to he eyes.
“So Ashlee , where are you from?” Anna asked
“Oh I moved here from Los Angeles” She said taking a brown bag lunch out of her backpack.
“L.A ,wow I always wanted to live in LA” Anna Said. Danny Looked at her suprised.
“Since when?” Danny asked.
“Since I was little”
“You never told me that?”
“Thats because I didn't need to tell you that.” Danny Noticed Ashlee Pulled out a container of yogurt. Then she pulled out a small bottle of tabasco sauce.
“Oh my god” Anna said watching her pour the tabasco sauce into the yogurt.
“What? Ashlee said noticing what she was doing. “Oh Sorry its just one of those eating habits I do”
“I do the same thing” Anna said
Danny Nudged her in the arm hard, she yelled in pain.
“what was that for?”
“ummm excuss us Ashlee were going to go get a drink”
“Ok” Danny took Anna by the arm and dragged her to the coke Machine.
“You did see what I saw” Anna said.
“yeah I did and you about gave us a way 'Oh I do the same thing'” Danny said trying to copy her.
“Sorry it just slipped.I saw the way you were staring at her earlier”
“What?”
“Don't play Danny I saw what I saw”
“You think she might be..”
“I don't know”
They bought some cans of coke and went back to the table.
“so Ashlee, tell us about yourself” Anna said smiling.
“what is there to tell”
“Anything about you”
“ok what do you want to know” Danny looked at her, the way her hair fell across her made his breathing excellerate. Suddenly everything was in slowmotion. He could see her lips moving but she wasn't saying thing. Suddenly danny felt really dizzy. Anna looked over and noticed something was up with him.
“Are you ok” Ashlee asked. Suddenly the feeling was gone. Danny looked up and shook his Head in reply.
The bell rang and everyone quickly started heading to class.
“So what class do you have next?”anna Asked Ashlee.
“Biology”
“cool thats where Danny is heading he can show you where its at”
Danny smiled as Ashlee followed him down the hall. entered the Biology room and Danny took his regular seat. Ahlee handed The teacher her schedule and he pointed to the empty seat next to danny.'dam' Danny thought. Anna could hear Danny saying 'dam' From three class rooms down.
He was Confused, he must have been calling out. She slowly made a connection with him through her mind.
“what are damming about” The voice of anna said in his mind.
“Nothing anna stay out of my head” danny said back her as he was trying to concentrate.
“it must be something”
“yeah Ashlee is my lab partner now”
“yeah so”
“Nothing just never mind”
“Does this have to do with earlier ,you were acting weird.”
“somewhat”
“I gotta go, teachers on my case”
She broke the connection, she felt a little light headed cause it took alot of engery to use that power. The Door opened to Anna's class and Ryan Walked in late.
“Never on time are we Ryan” Mr younger said handing him a detention slip.
Sat across from anna in usual seat. 'wow, he actually showed up today' Anna said to her. “I heard that” Ryan said in her head.
“Get out of my mind” she practically screaming.
“Sorry, its just that your thoughts were so loud I could hear them a mile away”
“where were you?”
“Around whats it to you”
“Just wondering”
Mr younger watched Ryan and Anna closely.
“Ok break the connection, Mr Younger is curiously watching us “
“OK”

The connection broke and Anna felt like she was going to be sick.
School had finally ended, Anna Met Danny outside the school. Teresa Met Ryan In the hall.
“So you going to give me a ride home since we live in the same place, and you actually made it to school”
“Yeah I guess”
She saw Ryan Starring at Anna Guerin.
“What is it with her, I see you staring at her all the time.”
“What?”
“Nothing , never mind lets go”

Anna Came home and threw her book bag on the couch. She heard yelp in pain and looked over and saw her mother and father on the couch. She had thrown her backpack on them.
“Ohh sorry” Anna a said quickly picking up her backpack.
“Its ok sweetie” Maria Said trying to fix herself so she wouldn't look obvious.
“Mom, don't act like I don't know what you two were doing” Anna said smiling and kind of grossed out at the thought of her parents doing what they were doing. She retreated to her room. Anna Blasted her Music loud in her room as she straightened up and was getting ready to start her homework. She heard a tapping at her bedroom window. She looked out and saw Ryan On the little balcony she had outside of her room. She opened the window.
“What the hell are you doing?” Anna yelled at him.
“Almost Killing myself”
“Go away” Anna said closing the window on him.
“Don't shut me out Anna”
“I have to I have no choice I'm not allowed near you remember?”
“I know”
“Then Leave!” She said threw the window.
“I won't leave until you come with me”
“Come with you? Where are you going?”
“You'll See if you just come on”
“ I can't”
“And why not? Because your father thinks I am some danger to you?”
“exactly and does the word grounded mean anything to you?”
“Nope not exactly,come on”
“fine”

Anna crawled through the window, and down the side of her house following Ryan. She wasn't sure what he was up to. In a way she didn't trust him and in a way she did.
“So please tell me where we are going”
“To the desert, where my spot is I found”
“Your Spot”
“yeah there is this spot where I go sometimes. and I need to talk to you about something”
“About what?”
“About who I really am and where I really come from”

Danny had Crashdown clean up duty his grandfather needed help around the crashdown since His mother hadn't been working in the crashdown in a while, and so he needed someone to do clean up duty. Since he couldn't find Anna anywhere, Danny was the next option. Danny did'nt mind helping his grandfather out, just as long he paid him some good money for it.

Danny wiped the counter and started putting up all the chairs so he could sweep when he heard The crashdown bells on the door ring. He looked up and saw those familiar brown eyes that belonged to Ashlee Rains.
“Sorry I know your closed, I just wanted a quiet place to study and maybe a piece of pie. And Also I knew I would find you here Our biology teacher said you could help me” Ashlee said smiling at Danny.
“Oh yeah sure” Danny Said Motioning for her to take a seat at one of the tables.
“Just let me Run upstairs and grab My books”Danny ran up stairs and went into his mothers old room. He closed his eyes and connected with Anna.
Out of no where Anna started hearing Danny's voice in her head, it was so loud she was almost going deaf.
“What do you want danny” She said using her powers to talk to him.
“Ashlee is in the crashdown with me”
“So what's your point”
“Where are you?”
“At home”
“Ok I'll let you know if I find out anything about her”
“You do that and don't barge into my head so loud next time”

They broke the Connection, and Anna looked up and smiled at Ryan. They were in the middle of the Desert. Anna looked out and noticed the rocks across from them.
“The Pod chamber? Thats your place?”
“Yeah”
“So did you come out of Pod like my father did?”
“No”
“I'm confused” Anna said looking up into the sky that was slowly turning black.
“My father was Human like your mother, and My mother was Alien”
“Ok now that makes a little sense, Maybe thats why were connected, Who was your mother?” Asked.
“You know her”
“I do?”
“Yes, isabel evans is my mother”
“What?, Is that what's you've been hiding?”
“basically, The real reason why they don't want you near me is because in the future we get even closer”
“What? How close”
“Close enough to have a child. Isabel saw it in a vision she had. We will have a son and the son will join forces with Kivar”
“I don't believe any of this! Why didn't they tell me? Ao you brought me all the way out here to tell me this bullshit!”
“Its Not bullshit, Its the truth” Ryan took he face in his hands and looked into her eyes which were starting to tear up. He rubbed his thumb across her cheek trying to sooth her.
“Were connected, Anna and if we do have a child we wont let Kivar have him and we will wait till the time is right”
“I Barely know you and I feel so much emotion when I'm around you, and when your in my dreams”

Ryan softly kissed her, Anna didn't back away from this kiss. She wanted it more then anything else in the world. The kiss made her spin, it felt like the world was Melting beneath her. Slowly Day turned to night and Night back to day. Michael woke up and went to anna's room to get her up for school. He went to the bed where he was suppose to find her sleeping and she wasn't there.
