Well here it is. A story of two star-crossed lovers. I believe you think you know them. Romeo and Juliet? No. They go by the names of Max and Liz. You see times have changed and when times change the story changes. The story remains somewhat the same, but it has changed somewhat. It now has to deal with aliens. I know what you are thinking, there are no such things as aliens, but believe me there is. Now some of you may have heard this version of the story so we are just going to sum up what happened up to this point in time. Okay?

Here it goes. Max saved Liz’s life one day. He saved her by healing her gunshot wound. By doing this he had to tell her that he was an alien, and risk being caught. Now Liz reacted like anyone of us would do. She didn’t believe him and then when she did she tried to leave. Liz ended up proving herself trustworthy, only after telling her best friend Maria and then later having to bring her other best friend Alex into it, after Max having been in a car accident. Well Michael and Maria ended up getting together and are together at this point in time, while Max and Liz seem to be having some trouble. First off Liz left Max to be with his destiny ( Max w/ Tess and Michael w/Isabel), but he didn’t give up on her and then a future version of Max came to Liz and told her she had to make Max fall out of love with her or it would be the end of the world. So she made Max believe that she had betrayed him by sleeping with Kyle. But she never did. And now all of our friends are back from Vegas, and they find a very different Roswell in front of them. One before Liz Parker had been shot. In fact it was the day of the shooting. Now what choice will our friends make? Will Max and Liz realize they should be together or will they change history so they do not have to go through any of the pain?

As Max and Liz were sitting next to each other on the plane, in an uncomfortable silence, Liz could not help but think about the fact that she almost told Max the truth.
While Max was thinking what was she going to tell me. Oh I can’t believe I still love her, but I do and I need her to tell me.

“What did you say Max?” Liz asked with amused eyes.

“What?” Max asked with shocked eyes.
“Um you were mumbling to yourself.” She says while she tries to hide her smile.
“Oh? I didn’t mean to…oops.” He says as he chuckles a bit to himself.
“Max, about earlier, when we were dancing, I need to talk to you” Liz says as she looks into his eyes.
“Alright Liz.” Max says with confused and intrigued eyes, which returned her gaze.
“ Alright. Here goes nothing. Max I didn’t sleep with Kyle, I knew you were gonna be on my balcony so I arranged it with Kyle. We both had our underwear on.” Liz says with tears in her eyes.
“WHY? Why would you hurt me like that? Why would you make me believe you slept with him and cause me that much pain?” Max asks with hurt and anger in his eyes.
“Because you asked me to.” Liz answers honestly.
“What? I think I would remember if I asked you to break my heart!?!” Max exclaimed with tears and confusion in his eyes.
“Max…I…. its really hard to explain. But you did ask me to do it. Just not the you with me right now. A you from 14 years in the future…” Liz explains the whole story to Max and he watches with tears in his eyes.
“ God Max you have to understand I did it because I love you so much.” Liz says as she starts crying hysterically.
“ Don’t worry Liz I understand why you did it. And I have to say that love you even more for it.” Max says as he takes her into his arms.
“Plane will be landing in just 2 minutes folks in Roswell, New Mexico. Please buckle your seatbelts,” the pilot explains overhead.
“Alright. Are we ready to go and face the Sheriff?” Michael asks from behind Max and Liz.
“And our parents?” Maria adds while holding Michael’s hand tightly.
“Oh lord is that gonna be fun” Alex says while holding Isabel’s hand.

But they didn’t even know the half of it. They do not know what awaits them in Roswell.

Part 2

Max and Liz walked toward the Crashdown hand in hand. And as they approached it they saw Max’s jeep. Max and Liz looked at each other in wonder.

“Maybe your mom and dad are here.” Liz suggested
“Yeah, maybe, but don’t you think they would have come in their car?” Max asked
“Well, Let’s go in and see what’s going on, but lets be careful. Okay?” She says as she looks into Max’s eyes and tightens her grip on his hand.
“Alright.” Max says as he leans forward and kisses her gently. “As long as you stay near me I will be fine.” He says while they lean in again, this time for a more passionate kiss.
“mmm , we have to go in there sooner or later Max” Liz breaths against his lips.
“I know.” he breaths against her lips before taking her mouth and kissing her passionately again, and lifting her up to be the same height as him. While she wraps her arms around his neck.
They break the kiss only when air is needed and he spins her around and around saying “woohoo.”
“What are you doing Max?” Liz asks while she is laughing hysterically, feeling happy and carefree for the first time in a very long time. Feeling like the girl she was when she first realized she was in love with Max Evans, and her whole world hadn’t been turned upside down.
“You are mine Liz Parker, Forever.” He says as he sets her down and looks in her eyes.
“And you are mine Max Evans, forever. I love you.” She says while she returns his gaze, gently kissing the tip of his nose.
“I love you too Liz” Max says scrunching his nose with a grin, then gently kisses her. And then he sighs deeply
“What’s wrong Max? ”Liz looks at him with concern in her eyes, cupping his fact in her hands.
“Oh, I just do not want to leave you. I want to hold you in my arms and never let you go, ever again. I mean Liz, we almost lost each other and I can never ever lose you again. I love you so much” He says with tears in his eyes.
“I know Max, I do not want to ever have to live without you again. Or have to live without your embrace or your kisses or even the way you look at me. I love you more than life itself Max. But don’t you see Max, I thought it was for the best…think about it…it would be selfish for us to want to be together when all its really causing is the end of the world…but Max, we have to leave it to fate…and know that we can conquer anything as long as we trust and believe in our love.” Liz says as she cradles his face with her hand and a tear slides down her cheek.
Max gently kisses the tear away. “You ready to go face the firing squad?” he jokes
“Only if you are.” She says as she intertwines their fingers and they walk to the Crashdown. As they reach the door they both gaze in to see what going on.

“OH MY GOD MAX!” Liz yells as she drops her backpack.
While Max just tightens his grip on her hand and drops his backpack as his mouth drops open and whispers “What’s going on?

Part 3

Liz looked in the window and then looked at Max with wide eyes.
“Max would you mind telling me what the hell is going on?”
“Well I would love to, but that would mean that I would actually have to know myself!”
“Well, we have to go in there, I am not gonna watch myself get shot and die!” Liz yells while she walks towards the door.
“Liz, we can’t just go in there, if you remember correctly I saved you.” Max says while pulling her back
“Well yeah, but I… uh… just can’t watch myself get shot.” Liz says as tears start running down her face.
“I know baby, I know. We should go see what’s happening with everyone else. Because if this is before the shooting, then Michael doesn’t have an apartment, Maria has short hair, Tess isn’t here and well if we think about this logically there are two of each of us now. We have to find some place to stay or change our appearances….” Max starts to babble until Liz places her mouth over his and kisses him passionately. She then pulls away. And smiles a sad smile at him “You were babbling, I needed to shut you up. Now come on Spaceboy , lets go find the others.” Liz says using Maria’s nickname for Michael. They then intertwine fingers and walk down the street hand in hand.
“Max, there has to be some kind of explanation for all of this…I mean what did we do? Just time warp back in time? Or did like the evil aliens find us to torture us and have us live in another reality and torture us, not knowing who is who and just kill us and poof we are out of existence forever.” Liz says rambling on
“Liz, baby, I don’t know anymore about this than you do…so we have to just play it all by ear…we have to go find Michael and the rest of them…lets just find them and see what’s going on…Maybe one of them knows.” Max says running a comforting hand down her back.
“Ok Max, I trust you.”

Part 4


Max and Liz walked down the street toward Michael’s apartment hand in hand with Liz’s head leaning on Max’s shoulder.
“Love you” Max said while gazing down at her.
“Love you too” Liz said with a smile while looking up at him. Their head started moving towards each other and were almost about to kiss.

“Liz?” a voice called from behind them. Max and Liz both sighed quickly and Liz quickly turned around to come face to face with Kyle.
“Kyle? What are you doing here?” Liz asked while holding Max’s hand tightly.
“Well, I guess I should be asking the same thing. I thought you had to work. And now I find you cheating on me with Evans here.”
“Cheating on you? If I remember correctly I said I wasn’t sure about this whole relationship thing, and you keep following me around like a dog. I, for one, am sick of it Kyle. But I think I just need some time to sort things out okay?” Liz said while trying to calm down and not say something stupid.
“Alright Liz, but what about Evans here? Why are you with him?” Kyle asked while wondering.
“I ran into him at the Café, I am working on a project with Isabel, and he said that Isabel said I left my uniform at her house, so we are going to pick it up and then going to go back to the café, because Maria can’t handle the lunch crowd by herself for too long.” Liz quickly explained trying not to leave any loopholes.
“Alright see ya at the café Liz.” Kyle said as he leaned over and gave Liz a gentle kiss on the lips and waved while walking away.
As soon as Kyle was out of sight they both let out a sigh or relief with Max glaring at his retreating back.
“God Liz you came up with that story pretty quick.” Max said with a slight smile.
“Oh man, I was just trying to get him to go away and not suspect anything that would ruin this timeline.”
“And you did a very good job at that” Max said while leaning down to give her a quick kiss that quickly turned passionate. “Sorry I couldn’t let Kyle be the last person who kisses you…just couldn’t do it…” He says smiling down at her
“mmm Max…no objections here…but…uhh.. We have to get to Michael’s if we want to catch everyone.” Liz breathed against Max’s lips.
“ I know. Okay if we hurry we can catch them.” Max said as he intertwined their fingers and they started running toward Michael’s apartment hoping they weren’t too late.
They reached Michael’s apartment quickly and see Michael, Maria, Alex and Isabel standing there arguing.
“Well then would you like to explain to me what’s going on Michael!” Maria yelled.
“I don’t know Maria! They said no one has lived there for a long time. They think I am nuts!’ Michael yelled.
“YOU GUYS, HEY!” Liz yelled to them as both her and Max come up to them.
“Hey you guys. What are you doing here?” Alex asks calmly.
“Well we went to the Crash, and you guys wouldn’t believe what we saw!” Liz exclaimed.
“What did you guys see?’ Isabel asks curiously.
“We saw Liz and Maria waitressing and Michael and me in a booth and we saw the guys that shot Liz, sitting in the booth they sat in that day.” Max explained while pulling Liz close and wrapping an arm around her waist.
“What do you mean you saw ME?!?” Maria yelled in confusion.

“ We mean that we must have gone back in time or something, because we are back in September 1999, the day I was shot.” Liz screamed.

***Abandoned Warehouse about a month later***

“Max…We kiss tomorrow, what are we going to do after that? I mean in our time we have already made love, will that change? Will we do it sooner?” Liz asks while lying on Max’s chest.

“Honestly I don’t know Liz, I am glad we decided to wait until after we kissed to tell them, but what if what the future me was right about us seeing each other and will they think we are some evil aliens or something?” Max asks while stroking Liz’s hair.

“ Well if we really think about this, I mean we don’t all look the same, we all have different hair styles and stuff, but Max I think we have to do this by ourselves. I mean maybe we should do it first and then maybe everyone else.” Liz suggests slightly confused.

“Liz, I know what you are trying to say, that maybe we should just do it ourselves instead of dragging everyone else into it because we are the ones who started all this. Am I right?” Max asks while gazing down into her eyes.

“Yeah, so the plan is we go to ourselves when they are together right, so how about when we are out on our date at Senor Chow’s?” Liz suggests while thinking and returning Max’s gaze.

“Yeah, we could maybe catch them on the way to there cause otherwise its too public.” Max says as he kisses her gently.

“Okay so it’s all set then, tomorrow the future we know isn’t going to exist anymore. Max?” Liz asks with tears in her eyes.

“What’s wrong baby?” Max asks with concerned eyes.

“I am just scared, what if this doesn’t work and they don’t believe us and the future changes so much that we never fall in love and we never get to make love again? I mean I could never live not making love to you ever again.” Liz says as she starts to cry.

“Liz you have got to think positively about this, I mean this is going to work and we will have our whole lives to make love. I love you and nothing is going to change that.” Max says while he cradles her face and looks deeply into her eyes.

“I love you too Max, soo much” Liz says as she kisses him passionately and pulls him on top of her. “Make love to me Max”

And that’s just what he does all night long and before they know it they fell asleep in each other’s arms, with nightmares of what could happen.

So here's the thing, since they are longer now, it might take me longer to get them out, I promise I will try to get the parts out in nothing more than a week ok? Alright and thanks so much for your feedback, it makes this worth writing to know you guys like it...

Part 6

Max and Liz walked hand in hand toward Senor Chow’s. They were each wearing disguises. They had about a half an hour before the PMax and PLiz would be there. Max was wearing dark blue jeans, a tight black wife beater and a long black leather coat over the top. And to top it off he made his hair spiky and blond. His eyes were now ocean blue and he had a nice tan including a tribal arm band tattoo around his right arm and having his eyebrow pierced.

Liz was wearing a tight black leather mini skirt, with a leopard print halter that tied around her neck with very thin straps and black knee high boots. And to match Max she had on a long black leather coat. Her hair was now just above her shoulders and a light, light brown with a red tint in it. She now had green eyes that looked mesmerizing.

“I think you guys should go into the hair styling business. ” Liz said with a chuckle.
“ Oh? Well I think I have enough on to handle right now.” Max said with a smile while looking down at her.
“I know, believe me I know. But I really like my hair. Not the eyes or the outfit.’ She says while looking down at herself.
“Oh well I don’t know. I think you look really sexy. Sexy enough to eat.” Max says while he leans down and nips at her neck.
“Max.” Liz says as she laughs…. “Max.” She says this time in a serious tone.
“What?” Max says while looking up from her neck.
“We can’t grope each other like this and bring attention to ourselves; I mean we are the strangers in town. I mean you know how you guys were before, suspicious of everyone, thinking that they might be the FBI. It is just not gonna help us at all.” Liz explained.
And then at that moment, PMax and PLiz walked up hand in hand gazing into each others eyes.
“Showtime” Max whispered

Max and Liz each took a deep breath and then stepped forward and fell in sync with one another as they walked toward their past selves. Millions of thoughts raced through there heads, but knowing that they were both there was sort of, actually totally calming in a sense. Ever since they had made love they realized they could not only just sense each other’s presence, but they could hear each other’s thoughts now too. And not only had that but the gang noticed that they were now finishing each other’s sentences. Which everyone thought was pretty freaky, except them. They felt as though it made them more at peace, and completed. And in a way they were complete. They complimented each other very well.

All thoughts were put to a complete stop when they reached Pmax and Pliz. Liz looked at Max and smiled. “Here goes nothing.” She thought both to herself and to him.

“Um...You guys wouldn’t happen to know where we could find a Max Evans and a Liz Parker… would you? Cause I have been looking for them everywhere. I mean my boy toy here and I have been looking for them. The principal said that they could catch us up before we went to school tomorrow and then tomorrow they could maybe give us a tour or something.” Liz said in a Brooklyn accent

“Yeah we have been all over this god for saken town. Would you know where to find them?” Max asked also in a Brooklyn accent

Pmax and Pliz looked at each other. , Both giving looks at each other to be careful.

“Well I am Liz Parker and this is Max Evans.” Liz said extending her hand to the girl. . While Max did the same with the boy.

And as they pulled their hands back they couldn’t help but think that there was something very familiar about the person in front of them.

“Oh thank god we found you. I am Alyssa and this is my boyfriend, Zan.” Liz said hoping that it would trigger something in Pmax’s mind.

Zan. Now why did that sound so familiar? PMax thought to himself.

“It’s nice to meet you both. So the principal sent you?” Max asked curiously.
“Well, yeah, he said you guys were the best students in our grade and that you would help us feel at home.” Liz/Alyssa said with a smile.

PLiz couldn’t help but feel at ease with this girl she felt as if she had known her all of her life. And PMax too felt the same way.

“Well would you guys like to come to dinner with us and maybe play some pool? It’s on me.” PMax said as he gestured toward the restaurant.

“Sounds like fun. Wanna go Lys?” Max/Zan asked.
“Sure why not, and Liz maybe you can tell me all bout the guys here. Are there any cute ones?” Liz/Alyssa asked with a teasing smile that only Max/Zan knew.

Liz giggled at the look that Zan and Max gave each other.

“Yeah there are tons. Come on let’s go,” She said as she took Lys/Liz’s hand and led her into the restaurant followed by Zan and Max.

“You better not be looking at any other guys besides me. Got that?” Max/Zan said as he pinched Liz’s (Alyssa’s) side as they got into the both.

“Oh? And why not?” she asked with a smirk.

“Because maybe I like having you all to myself baby...” Max/Zan said as he leaned his forehead against Alyssa’s and gently kissed her lips then quickly nipped at her lips “Just you wait til’ later girl.” He said smirking at her

Max and Liz watched them with interest. They saw how easily Zan slid his arm around Alyssa to bring her closer and it made them both want that closeness.

“So Alyssa…” PMax started.

“Oh please call me Lys.” Liz/Alyssa said with a smile while she leaned on Zan’s shoulder.

“Alright, So how long have you and Zan been going out?” PMax asked and he took PLiz’s hand in his and intertwined their fingers on the table.

“Well we have been together, together for about a month, but we have been seeing each other on and off for about a year.” Liz/Alyssa answered.

“Oh, well that’s great.” PLiz said with a smile.

And just as Max was about to say something they were interrupted.
“Guys its Michael, he’s sick.”
And with that Max and Liz jumped out of the booth and took off, leaving Liz/Alyssa and Max/Zan very stunned.
“They were very quick in leaving us.” Max said while he got up, pulling Liz with him.
“Yep, now come on lover boy we have to get there and save Michael.” Liz said as she dragged him to her house.

By the time they got up the balcony Michael was already in Liz’s bed. And so they climbed over to the window.

“What’s going on here? Havin a party?” Zan asked with a smile while he pulled Liz in.

“WHO ARE YOU? AND JUST WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU ARE DOING HERE!?” Maria yelled at them.

“Zan? Alyssa what are you guys doing here?” Liz asked with a frightened look.

“Look we have a lot of explaining to do, but besides that, we know how to help Michael.”

“Oh? And just how do we do that?” Isabel asked sarcastically.

“Well you could always take him to a doctor, that’s always worked for me.” Alyssa says with a smirk on her face. “But then again that would mean having to tell the doctor that you are aliens from another planet…and I don’t think that would go over that well.”

Everyone looked at them wide-eyed. And franticly at each other not knowing what to say or what to do.

Zan smirked right back and Lys “We take him to the cave or better yet to River dog and use the healing stones.” Max stated simply.
“And just how are we supposed to believe that?”
”All right, here is one, Michael stole Liz’s diary, he broke up with Maria at the old soap factory party and Liz was arrested at that party. Also Max…you connected with Liz’s grandma so she could say goodbye to her.” Liz explained.
“And if you don’t believe me…I can show you how Max found the cave.” Max said as he held his hands together and they started to glow.
Everyone just stood there with wide eyes.
They stood there in complete silence, until Michael started chanting.
“Oh my god….”Maria whispered.

Part 7

Michaels chanting filled the air as all eyes were on him, the web was starting to grow atop him and that made Alyssa and Zan very worried. They had to get him to Riverdog right away. Then Maria’s whispered “Oh my god….” Filled their ears and they snapped out of their thoughts.

“We know you guys have no reason to trust us, but believe me if we do not get him to Riverdog as soon as possible he will die. We will need all of you there to help him. Now if you want to save Michael’s life you will help me get him into your car and take him to the reservation. And if you don’t then don’t trust me and let him die.” Zan explained

“I know you guys must have a million questions. And we are prepared to answer all of them, after we save his life. And just so you know this isn’t something aliens just get out of the blue. Michael is chanting the chant from a ceremony he attended at Riverdog’s reservation. Only aliens have this reaction. And it will result in his death. Riverdog was testing him to see if he was an alien or not, but he did not react like the other alien did, his signs did not show up right away.” Alyssa explained softly.

“It’s a long story…and we will answer any questions you have after we save Michael’s life as we said before…now please, do this for Michael and don’t worry about us…” Zan said as he walked over towards Michael

Alyssa walked over to Liz and looked her deep in the eyes… “You need to trust us Liz, Michael’s life depends on it…”

Liz looked back at Alyssa and somehow felt like she could trust the girl. She nodded... “Alright come on guys; let’s do what they say…” She says as she walks over to Zan.

“What do you need me to do?” She asked.

Everyone got Michael into Maria’s jetta and everyone who didn’t fit into Maria’s car got into Max’s jeep and they drove to the reservation.
“Max, I don’t think we should tell them who we are yet…I think we need to let what happened happen” Liz thought to Max as she held Michael’s head in her lap
“I was thinking the same thing…but what else can we say to them? That we are from their planet and are here to help them?” Max thought back to her
“I think that would be our best bet….”
“Alright”
“You guys hows it going” Michaels voice interrupted their thoughts in their heads.
“Michael? Well we will tell you about it when we get back to the warehouse alright… things are way too complicated at this point in time to tell you anything…”Liz thinks back to Michael.
“Ok…” Michael thinks and his presence is lost in both their minds.

Alyssa walks over to Liz and takes her over to the corner…
“Liz, you are not going to be able to help Michael unless you overcome your fears, and learn to trust Max completely. If you don’t trust Max completely than you can’t be of any help to Michael…its up to you…just follow your heart…it will never put you in a situation that you can’t handle…its your destiny to follow your heart.” Alyssa explains to Liz looking her deep in the eyes

“You know, this whole thing with Michael scares me, all I can think is, “what if that was Max? is it some evil alien disease that he is going to die from and there is nothing I can do to stop it…but I believe in Max, he saved my life, and I trust him with my life.” Liz says getting tears in her eyes

Alyssa smiles a sad smile “Well then why don’t you prove that and help Michael…”

With that being said Liz leans in and hugs Alyssa…and whispers “thank you” and walks off to help Michael.

Zan walks over to Alyssa and looks at her curiously.
“What did you say to her?”
“Well I just explained to her that she needs to trust you, and that she should just follow her heart, its her destiny…And I believe that…. you are my destiny Max Evans.” She says leaning in and kissing him passionately and lovingly.

Max pulls back from the kiss after quite a while and looks in her eyes adoringly… “And you are my destiny Liz Parker.”

“Um…Lys…your phone is ringing….” Zan says to her going back in to character mode.

“Damn!” She reaches in her leather coat pocket…. “Hello?” she answers the phone as everyone, including Michael, walks out of the cave.

“Liz…what is going on…I need to know if everything turned out ok…we are on our way to the cave…that’s where you are isn’t it?” Maria asks rambling on.
“Yes that’s where we are…how close are you exactly?” Liz asks not knowing everyone has come out of the cave.

Michael walks up to Zan…and looks him up and down, sizing him up, taking inventory in case he has to defend himself against this guy, he could be an evil alien.

“We are going to be there in like 2 minutes…” Maria says as she shuts the phone.

Liz hangs the phone up and puts it back in her pocket.. “That was Ma….” She says as she turns around realizing that everyone is out of the cave “Uh…that was Marta, Zan.”

Michael looks over at Alyssa and raises an eyebrow…. “Who are you guys?”

Alyssa walks over to Zan and takes his hand in hers… “My name is Alyssa….and this is my boyfriend, Zan”

Michael raises an eyebrow… “Zan huh?”

** Michael is the one that would remember your name in a past life…who would have thought it…. Liz thinks amused to Max.**

Zan cracks a smile at her and looks at Michael… “Yes, Zan is my name.”

Michael looks at him quizzically…. “And you are here because?”

“Michael we aren’t here to hurt you, its actually the opposite, we are here to help you. We know what you guys are….we know that you guys are from the crash that happened so many years ago…and we know that you, Michael most of all want to find out about your family and your heritage.” Lys explains to Michael

“You don’t know anything about me….” Michael says defensively

“I don’t? Ok how about you, Max and Isabel found each other here in this desert, but Max and Isabel were the lucky ones…you were adopted by a horrible man named Hank…whom in turn for his monthly check, treats you like shit…and you think of Isabel and Max as your family…. you are in love with Maria…just as Max is in love with Liz…and you guys just need to face things together as a unit…not separately…We are here to help you…whether you like it or not… you do need our help…we know that Liz was shot maybe a little over a month ago…in the stomach… a fatal wound…she was dead for a minute…then Max over there saved her….so don’t try and tell me that you aren’t being tracked by the FBI at this moment…we know exactly what is going to happen…so just let us help you.” Lys explains as calmly as she can and then abruptly walks away

Zan looks at her strangely as she walks away
“She needs to cool off…. she’s getting upset that you guys aren’t even giving us a chance…believe me I know what you guys are feeling…that you don’t know if you can trust us…but you can… can trust us as much as you trust yourselves…. we are all on the same side here…now we will be in touch…we have to get going…” And with that Zan runs after Alyssa…leaving behind him a bunch of stunned people…. including Michael…who has his jaw hanging open but thinking that the answer to all his questions that he has had over all these years, lies in those two.


“Liz, baby, slow down, I cant really run in these freaking commando boots!” Max says running right behind Liz and grabbing her from behind

“Max, they don’t trust us, how are we going to get them to trust us, we have all changed our appearances and everything, but you know us, this is before Alex even knows anything…you guys are so protective and saying no one else can know! YOU are dead set on it…Honestly, I think we should tell them to tell Alex, and that Topolsky is an agent.” Liz says turning around in Max’s arms.

“Maybe they will realize things sooner and not activate the orbs…we could still be together if we hadn’t activated the orbs, it was my entire fault, all this pain that we went through, all because I was so curious…I was worse than Michael.” Max said his eyes turning downcast, not able to look Liz in the eyes.

“Max, you were doing what you thought was right, and you had a right to know about your past and why you were sent here. I think that we should tell them things as they come along, not put too much on them at once, but we need to take care of the Alex and Topolsky situation ok? Baby…I love you…never ever doubt that.” Liz said taking Max’s face in her hands and making him look her in the eyes.

“God I love you.” He says looking into her eyes and getting lost in them as he always does.

Liz smiles and takes his hand to where a screeching Jetta pulls up.

Maria, Michael, Alex, and Isabel get out of the car slowly one by one….and look completely different.

Maria has red hair that is all the way down her back with braids sporadically through her hair and her eyes are now brown and her lips are less noticeable, even though Michael didn’t like that fact. She has her belly button and nose pierced with a tattoo on her arm of the v constellation. She is wearing an outfit similar to Liz’s except its zebra print skirt with black boots and a black halter top.

Michael has a buzz cut with blonde hair and is a preppy boy, with a cutting edge look. Making sure that he has his Metallica Key chain hanging out of his pocket.

Alex changed his whole image and went with red hair with blonde tips and has a whole thug look going on with the baggiest clothes you have ever seen.

Isabel, trying to stay with the same image as she had before, has a tight leather dress on, only its dark purple and the middle is cut out to show off her belly button, which has a tattoo around it of a Celtic sun and now has a light brown hair that goes just about her shoulders that is curly and now has green eyes.

“What is going on you guys? We are about to head out and only be contacted by phone, so that way there is no possible way of any one recognizing us at all, we can’t take chances like that” Isabel says pacing.

“You are starting to sound just like your brother Iz…”Alex says chuckling despite the situation.

“Yeah, well that’s what happens when you are cramped in the same warehouse for months…” She says smiling, but it’s a sad smile. “I wanna go home…I wanna sleep in my bed and I want to be able to take a damn shower in my goddamn bathroom!”

“Ok now, its time to go, we will see you guys later.” Alex says hugging Liz and ushers everyone to the car, as we hear Michael saying “You know I am the only one who would think that us leaving would be a bad idea! We are going to leave it to the love struck teenagers in heat!” Everyone laughs and pushes him into the car and takes off.

“Max, we have to find out what even caused us to be here, how much you want to bet its Khivar or something? I mean we have been exploring all our options, its gotta be something like that, what else could make us come back in time?”

“Liz, I do believe that its Khivar, but we can’t exactly do anything when he hasn’t shown himself, I mean think about it, what are we gonna do? Yell into the sky and fight someone who isn’t there? We have to be patient, and hopefully he will eventually show himself.” He says leaning his forehead against hers.

“Alright bucko, who’s Khivar?” Maria asks walking up with Michael, Max, Liz, and Isabel.

Michael looks at them as though he is ready to shoot at any time.

“I wouldn’t use your powers if I were you, you need to learn to control them first Michael.” Lys says.

“What would you know about my powers?” Michael says coming inches from Lys’s face.

Lys raises her hand and pushes Michael back using her newfound powers that she discovered she had since Max healed her, she is now one of them.

“Well let’s just say I know how to use my powers and you don’t.” Lys says smirking at him. “Oh and Zan here, he knows a helluva lot more than I do.”

Michael looks at them shocked “You guys are one of us?”

Lys chuckles as Zan clears his throat “In a matter of speaking…”

Isabel looks at Lys “So are you guys like our brother and sister or something? Or our protectors?”

Zan looks at Isabel “I’m your brother, Lys, she is my girlfriend.”

Lys smiles “And so much more than that…”

Zan raises an eyebrow ‘Should we tell them you were human?’

‘I think we should, it will make Liz feel better…oops, me feel better’

Max looks between Zan and Lys “And so much more than that?”

“Well, I was human at one point, well you are all completely human except for your blood cells, and your powers are completely human, just evolved over many years.”

“You were human? Than how do you have powers?” Liz asks being the scientist of the group.

“I was a normal teenage girl, going about my business as usual, when one day my life is being ripped away from me. I was a small town girl, I had the 2 best friends and the great life, I was nothing like I am now. Then when I almost died and Zan saved me, so selflessly, not worrying about the consequences, he changed me. You see when an alien heals you, you change inside, and it’s slowly over time and you become one of them. It’s hard to explain. But your powers are exactly what the human mind can do, human minds have the capacity to have the same powers, but the only catch is, they still have to wait to evolve to have them. We don’t.” Lys says all the while holding Zan’s hand.

“So you mean to tell me that our minds have the capabilities of doing what Michael, Max and Isabel do?” Maria asks looking dumbfounded.

“That’s exactly what we’re saying” Zan says looking at Michael.

“Michael you need to learn to control your powers or its going to get you in trouble…”Lys says walking over to him “You have such raw emotion that you can’t control your powers when you get upset, and you need to be able to. We are here to help you. You need to focus and blank your mind out and only focus on what you want to do…Now we have reason to believe that there is an FBI agent implanted in the school.”

“Her name is Kathleen Toplosky, we believe Alex can help you get her out of Roswell, but you have to trust him, he is worthy of your trust, more than worthy. And the only one that could convince him to do this is Liz, and after you have him help you, you can let him in on your secret.” Zan says looking around at everyone. “I know what you are all thinking, that you shouldn’t let another in, but letting Alex in, well it’s something that has to be done. Just trust us.”

Michael looks into Lys’s eyes and sees such innocence, and knows that she is telling the truth “I trust you.”

“WHAT????” everyone in the group exclaims.

“Michael? Guys, it’s not really Michael, someone has brainwashed him or something or he is an evil alien taking the place of Michael and he just looks like Michael…” Maria rambles.

Michael smirks and leans over and kisses her and leans his forehead against hers after a few seconds “That was just to calm you down…” He smiles a secret smile to her, and Maria melts.
Liz walks up to Alyssa “You mean that since Max healed me, that I am going to have these powers? Like they do?”

“You will eventually, but they come on suddenly and it’s kind of hard for your body to handle it…but you get over it and you are going to be perfectly capable of doing everything that Max, Michael and Isabel can do.” Lys says looking at Liz with such calm look so that Liz won’t panic.

Liz nodded still a little shocked that she was going to get powers.

“Can I ask what you mean when you say it’s a little hard for your body to handle it?” Liz asks with a gulp

Lys smiles a reassuring smile and says “Well, when I first developed my powers it was painful, only because my body was getting used to having the ability to do these powers, and then to have them exert themselves to come outside of my body, well that’s an odd feeling in and of itself I’m sure” she says as she smiles at Zan. “But after the first time, it becomes less painful, and more of something that is just you, you become completely comfortable with it, it’s like it’s always been there.” Lys says as she puts a hand on Liz’s shoulder.

Liz took a deep breath and looked over at Max and then looked back at Lys “Its worth it though isn’t it?”

Lys smiled “Oh yes, everything that you go through, as long as its together, nothing can separate you, and when I say together, I mean, all six of you….including Alex.”

Hey you guys, sorry its been so long without an update but RL kicked me in the butt and I was in the hospital for a little while and then basically all Ive had time to do was read and leave feedback here and there....and then just a big old case of writers block.
