He was my first love, my first crush. If only I would of known then that he wasn’t only my first love but my true love, my soul mate maybe things would have been different. The man I’m talking about is Max Evans every girl dream really. He’s tall has dark hair and handsome. I met him when I was a freshman in high school we were lab partners. We got along perfectly, my best friend Maria Deluca told me “ I wouldn’t be surprise if you guys start dating and end up getting married.”
Well she was right about the dating part. We started to date a few moths later. I was able to talk to Max about anything and every other thing. We had our good times and our bad times but we got through it. Soon high school was over and I was getting ready to go to USC and he was planning on staying in Roswell. I told him we could have a long distance relationship. I was willing to try anything. But he said that long distance relationships never work and that we should take a break. I was shock was he breaking up with me after fours years. I told him there has to be a reason why he doesn’t want to try, he then told me that the love he had for was gone and I should leave and never look back. When he told me this it broke my heart into a million pieces and I will never get to put it back together. I couldn’t breath it felt like I was dieing.
That’s when the reason why his love for me was gone walked in. It was Tess Harding. “Hey pooh bear did you tell her?” “Tess I told you to stay in the bedroom.” “Pooh bear .” She said with a pout. I wanted to throw up. “ This can’t be happing.” “Liz I wanted to tell you sooner but…..” “But you were to busy fucking her to tell me sooner.” “ Liz I’m sorry.” “ Your Sorry… ha … I’m sorry I even fell for you. So when did you and Tess happen?” “Two moths ago.” Tears were running down my face. “ So all the times you told me you loved me and all the roses were for nothing. I guess I won’t be needing this.” I took the promise ring off my finger and threw it at him and ran out of his house. “ Liz wait..’ I heard him calling. That day I left Roswell and I never went back. I ever got my parents to move to Southern California. I got letter yesterday from Max, in the letter he told me. He never wanted to hurt me. He said the reason why he started to date Tess was because he was scared. And that he lied about the love being gone. He still loves me and he knows he screwed up. Once again I’m crying because I still love him.
