Hey VivaLasVegas... I got some suggestions for you that I think that you will really like..... Anything by Nora Robers, Linda Howard, Sandra Brown

There all romantic and sexy love stories that arent cheesy and dont make you want to gag, lol.

Hope that helps.

LovinGuerin2much: Thank you! I sent you a pm. :D

Dimensia: I read one of the books you recommended - Welcome to Temptation - and LOVED it! :P As a result, I bought Faking It and Susan E. Phillip's First Lady, but I haven't found time to read them yet.

Glad you liked Crusie, VivaLasVegas. I actually enjoyed Faking It even more than Welcome to Temptation (Davy was such a great character, and completely deserved his own story). For more great SEP, be sure to pick up "Breathing Room" and "Honey Moon."

VivaLasVegas

I have to de-lurk for a minute and tell you that I totally agree with Demensia's recommendations of SEP---BUY "KISS AN ANGEL" --- that book is wonderful.

Cruisie is also one of my faves. I have loved all her books but the one I always go back to re-read is a little Mira re-release of hers called "Getting Rid Of Bradley"--- It is a light read, mostly fluff but it makes me laugh out loud. Plus the way she incorporates dogs into her stories, this one in particular, makes me smile.

If you decide to try out Linda Howard, which I really think you should, my rec would be "Mr. Perfect"---the chemistry between the lead charaters is HOT.

Happy reading!

O.k. I need help! I've finished reading all the books I could find by Nora Roberts, Linda Howard, Anne Rice, & Jude Deverauex.

Can someone recommend to me someone other than these authors?

Do you prefer comtemps or historical books, or a mix of both?
More intense plots and situations or something lighter?

If you like Nora Roberts and Linda Howard, you would probably also like Elizabeth Lowell. Her "Mackenzie-Blackthorn" and "Donovans" series reminded me alot of the "MacKenzies" & "Midnight Rainbow" series by Howard and "Quinns" series by Roberts. Lowell writes alot of Suspense these days like Howard does.

Also, if you like Howard's suspense novels, also try Suzanne Brockmann... particularly her two series about Navy SEALs.

If you like Romantic Military / Action / Suspense, after Brockmann, there is also Lindsey McKenna; Merline Lovelace; Catherine Mann; Candace Irvin; and a host of others. See this web site for more:

Catherine Coulter is another for Romantic Action / Suspense. She has a series about FBI agents.

For reference, here's the books in the 2 Lowell series I was talking about:

The Donovans 01 - Amber Beach
The Donovans 02 - Jade Island
The Donovans 03 - Pearl Cove
The Donovans 04 - Midnight in Ruby Bayou

MacKenzie-Blackthorn 02 - Fire and Rain
MacKenzie-Blackthorn 03 - Outlaw
MacKenzie-Blackthorn 04 - Granite Man
MacKenzie-Blackthorn 05 - Warrior
