AN: This is my first fanfic so be gentle and honest, if it sucks let me know. This is a idea I had for awhile, season 2 is completely different. If people like it I'll continue.

Part 1
Max, Isabel, Micheal, and Tess were driving back from the desert. During the summer they got together once a week to practice their powers, Micheal and Tess got together more often. As they were driving Micheal spots Maria's jetta.
"Max stop the jeep!" Micheal demanded.
'What's Maria doing out here this late, it must be going on 11 at night' Micheal thought.
They all got out of the jeep and made their way over to the jetta but Maria was nowhere to be found.
"Maybe it broke down and someone came to get her" Tess said wanting to go.
Micheal opened the driver side door to reveal that Maria's keys were still in the ignition.
"Yeah but way would she leave her keys, in the ignition no less" Micheal stated.
~Flash~
Maria driving after dropping something off for her mom.
Someone comes up behind her and rams into her, run her off the road.
Someone open the driver side dragging her out.
Maria spays him with her pepper spray and ran off toward the woods.
~End Flash~
"We have to find her. NOW!" Micheal screamed as he ran off in the direction Maria went.
"Micheal wait, what did you see?" Max asked as he chased after Micheal. Micheal Stopped and sighed heavily,
"Someone drove her off the road and chased her into the woods. So we need to find her Now. Are you going to help me or not?"
"Of course but we need a plan" Max said trying to stay calm. Just then they heard someone scream and they ran toward it.
As they got closer they could she Maria on the ground. There was a man holding her down with his hand on her head, he didn't notice them approaching. Micheal raised his hand and let out burst of energy that flew the stranger backward. Micheal ran to Maria's side
"Maria open your eyes, come on open your eyes" Micheal cried as shook her gently, her eyes began to slowly open, Micheal sighed with relief.
The next thing Micheal he was thrown backward and pinned to the grounded by an unseen force. He was able to move his head to the right and left to see that Max, Isabel, and Tess were pinned downed as well.
He turned his attention back to Maria to see that the man was stand over her smirking at them.
"Let me guess you must the royal four. How rude of me I'm Letis (lee-t-is). You probably don't remember me but I was one of your must trusted servants" He stats with a snarky little laugh.
"WHAT DO YOU WANT WITH MARIA?" Max asked forcefully.
"She has something I need" Letis said not giving any more information then that.
He turned to Micheal "She thinks about you a lot, She loves you, do you love her? If you did why would you end your relationship with her? human emotion are strange." Letis exclaimed.
"LET HER GO YOU ASSHOLE" Micheal screamed try to move but to no avail.
"Why she's such a pretty little thing" Letis said bent down next to Maria. That's when Micheal noticed that Maria was wide awake but like the rest of them she couldn't move either.
Letis began to caress Maria's leg and asked Micheal.
"What if I took her right here right now? Would it kill you can't do anything to stop me all you could do is watch?" Maria turned her head toward Micheal pleading with eyes for him to do something but he couldn't.
"LOOK YOU HAVE US, SHE'S NOT APART OF THIS JUST LET HER GO. IT'S US YOU WANT" Max screamed, the only thing he could do to help her.
"That were your wrong my boy it's Maria I wanted, you were the icing on the cake." Letis said as he licked Maria's cheek and unbutton her blouse.
Tears began to roll Maria face which only made Letis laugh harder. Micheal couldn't take it his blood was boiling, his heart was pumping and all he could think about was that he could let this happen to Maria. Something inside him snapped that made his whole body shake as released this energy that began to incinerate Letis. As he his screams grew louder Micheal and the others were able move. After a few moments Letis was nothing more then dust. Micheal made his way over to Maria in seconds and he was holding her as he coughed on the dust.
"How did you do that" Isabel gasped as she got up. Micheal said nothing as picked Maria up and made his way to the jeep.
"Isabel, you and Tess follow us in Maria's car" Micheal stated as got into the jeep.
Isabel got the keys from Micheal then her and Tess drove to Micheal's apartment. Micheal held Maria in the back seat while Max drove the jeep. He leaned his back trying to understand what the hell just happened. 'Why had Letis wanted Maria? What the hell happened with his powers' he sighed heavily knowing the probably wouldn't find the answer any time soon. They pulled up to his apartment and Max opened the back door for them.
"You want me to take her for you" Max asked.
"No" Micheal said not wanting to put her down.
"Why don't you, Isabel and Tess go. Ya know let the others know what happened" Micheal stated then turned toward his apartment.
Max didn't argue knowing it would be pointless. He dropped Isabel and Tess at his house then he went somewhere he shouldn't be going.
-Outside Liz's window-
Isabel side she and Tess would talk to Alex and the Sheriff. He claimed up the ladder to Liz's balcony, he knocked on her window. He wasn't even sure that she was back but something inside of him told him that she was.
"Max what are doing here? How did you even know I was back?" Liz asked as she opened her window. For a moment Max couldn't speak then he remember why he was here.
"um... there's no easy way to say this but Maria was attacked by a um... alien possibly the ones my mother mentioned... I uh thought you would want to know and I wanted to see if you were OK" Max said to a shocked Liz.
"H..how is she? I mean is she hurt? where is she?" Liz asked franticly.
"She's fine she's with Micheal and i don't think his going to allow her any visitors any time soon" Max told her. Her told her the whole story from the begin and they fell asleep on her balcony, he wasn't going to leave her side tonight.
-Micheal's apartment-
Micheal had laid Maria down in his bed while he went through his dresser drawers. He found a t-shirt and sweat pants for her to wear. Maria wasn't sleeping just laying on the bed not saying a word. Micheal bent down near the edge of the bed facing Maria, he brushed a strand of her long her back behind her ear.
"Hey, I got you someone clothes for you to change into, Kay" Micheal said as he got up to leave but she grabbed his arm not wanting him to go.
"I'm just going in the other room while you change, I'll be right out there" Micheal said reassuringly then he left.
Maria got up and went over to were Micheal left the clothes for her to change into. The ones she were wearing were filthy and so was she. She grabbed the clothes and walked out the door to go take a shower.
"I'm gonna take a shower'' Maria said to Micheal who was in the kitchen, then walked into the bathroom.
Micheal was trying to find something in his kitchen to eat but he come up empty. Fifteen minutes later Maria comes out in the t-shirt and sweat pants. She went to sit on the couch and Micheal went to join her.
"Are you hungry? I could order pizza or something'' Micheal asked.
Maria shook her head no and laid it on Micheal's shoulder soon she was fast a sleep. Micheal pick her up and put her in his bed, kissed her forehead.
"Don't worry I wont let anyone hurt you ever, I love you" Micheal whispered in her ear.
Micheal decided to sleep on the couch to give Maria room. The moment his head hit the pillow he was fast asleep. "MICHEAL!" Maria crying out for him woke him up several hours later at about 1:30. Micheal got up and ran to his room to were Maria was sleeping. Micheal was by her side within seconds holding her tight to soothe her.
"What's wrong? It's o.k your safe now" Micheal told her.
"Where were you I woke up and you were gone" Maria cried.
"I thought it would be better if I slept on the couch" Micheal told her and kissed her forehead.
"I'd feel better if you would just stay and hold me, please" Maria pleaded with him.
"yeah o.k." Micheal said as the laid back on the bed together. They flew asleep in each others arms as the memories of what happened disappeared until tomorrow.[/list]

AN:the story kind of starts off slowly but I need to set down the foundaton for what's to come. I use some part directly from the ep.

Part 2
Maria awoke the next day without Micheal but she didn't panic. She got out of bed and made her way into the living room. Micheal was in the kitchen make breakfast so Maria plopped down on the couch.
"I'm make sausage and eggs, they should be done in a minute. Max called he and the others are on their way" Micheal told as he finished breakfast.
Maria just nodded staring at a blank t.v. screen. A few minutes later the food was done and they were sitting on the couch eating. The silence was just unbearable, it was frightening how quiet Maria was.
"Maria...um before we showed up did Letis do... did he you know....um" Micheal tried to ask her but answered before he could actually ask the question.
"Rape me, no you killed before he had a chance" Maria stated quickly.
Before Micheal could ask her more about Max and Liz walk through the door. Liz ran to Maria encompassing her in a hug.
"Oh god Maria...Max told me what happened, are you ok ?" Liz asked as held her friend tight.
"I'm fine Liz just having a little trouble breathing" Maria told in joking manner.
"Sorry I was just worried" Liz said as loosened her grip.
Just then Isabel, Alex, Tess walk through door which made the situation much tenser. Alex was be Maria side in seconds and had to go with him what she went through with Liz a few moments before. After that No one really said anything for while.
"Well shouldn't we get to the reason we're all here? What did Letis want with Maria?" Tess asked breaking the silence.
"He wanted her to get to you guys. Max didn't you say he liked scanned Maria brain?" Liz stated to Tess's question.
"Yeah but he also said that Maria was the one he wanted and we were 'the icing on the cake'" Isabel said to clarify things.
Maria was getting upset and she finally spoke up "Um hello I am in the room you know."
"Sorry, Do you know what he wanted from you?" Max ask as he apologized for everyone.
"Of course she doesn't know... How could she Max?" Micheal stated angrily before Maria could answer. He really didn't everyone bombarding her with questions after what she's been through.
"I didn't mean it that way Micheal what I meant was did he say anything about what he wanted from her" Max stated as everyone turned to Maria.
''He said I had something he needed and that I was to valuable to kill but not to hurt. He wanted a stone..." Maria said as she tried to think of the name.
"I think he called it the Galivis(ga-lev-is) stone. I told him I didn't have it that I had no idea what he was talking about but he kept saying the answer was inside me that I knew. I swear to you guys I don't know what he's talk about" Maria told them.
"Could be a stone from your mom's shop. She sells stuff like that right?" Tess asked her but Alex answered instead.
"If it was something out her mom's shop or even at their house why wouldn't he just go in a take it. I pretty sure his alien powers would have made it pretty easy" Alex told Tess.
"He's right what ever this Galivis stone it most be very valuable or very powerful for him to expose himself and who ever he worked for" Max agreed with Alex.
"We're not going to get anywhere now so just go about our do as usual" Max stated.
"Is acting normal your solution for everything. Can't you come up with a better plan then that, Maria was nearly killed last night we need to do something" Micheal demanded to Max.
"What are we suppose to do Micheal Letis is dead. We don't were the others are, if there even are any others. WHAT DO YOU WANT ME TO DO?" Max screamed back at Micheal.
Before Micheal could say anything Maria jump in. "As entertaining as this little power struggle is Liz and I have to be at work in like 45 min and I would really like the keys to my car so I go home and change." Maria said as she held out her hands for keys which Isabel gave to her. She walk out the door followed by Liz and Alex.
-The Jetta-
Liz is driving because Maria wasn't up to it.
"Maria are you sure your o.k.?" Alex couldn't help but ask.
"For the last time I'm fine, I just wanna put the whole thing behind me" Maria told for what she hoped was the last time.
"So Liz you and Max spent the night together, huh" Maria said with a big grin on her face.
"I wasn't like that he came to tell me what happened and he didn't want to leave me alone. Did you tell him I was back?" Liz explain but both Maria and Alex shook their heads no to her question.
'how did he know then' Liz thought to her self.
"Liz you and Max are soul mates of course he'd just know you were back. And despite what destiny says you were meant to be. Just like me and Micheal even if he doesn't know it" Maria stated to friend with a smile.
"Hey what about me?" Alex complained from the back seat.
"You've been in love with Isabel since first day you saw her" Maia said giggling to her self.
The rest of the day went as usual she work until closing and nothing out of the ordinary happened which she was happy for. She had hoped that Micheal would've came to check on her but he was back to avoiding her. 'Damn it' she thought she wearing him down. When she got home her mom was back from her trip she went on a couple of weeks ago with some friends.
"Hi mom, welcome back" She said as she kissed her mother cheek.
"Mom I really tired so I just going to go to bed, k" Maria told her Mom as yawned and stretched.
"Ok honey goodnight and sweet dreams" Amy said as she kissed her forehead goodnight.
Maria went to her room and changed then went to bed. She couldn't seem to fall asleep. She kept get up to check her window to make sure it was locked and secure. She knew she would sleep easier if Micheal was with her. She decide to call him to she if would come over. She picked up the phone, it rang seven times before she hung up. She laid on her back on her bed staring at her ceiling, after about an hour sleep overpowered her.
-Micheal apartment-
Micheal was sitting at the counter in his kitchen when the phone rings. He looks at the caller idea, it's Maria. He wants to pick up so badly but he needs to stay away to keep her safe. He get's up and goes into his bed room were Maria left her clothes. He would have to give them back to her maybe he could ask Max or Isabel to do it. He decide to forget about it until another time.
The Next Day(from skin and bones)
CONGRESSMAN: Mr. Pierce. How much of that spending was authorized by your superiors?
PIERCE: None.
CONGRESSMAN: Huh? Oh, sorry, Mr. Pierce. My hearing isn't what it used to be. Why don't you speak right into the mike?
PIERCE: None.
CONGRESSMAN: Oh, none! Not a penny. For $17 million spent
by so-called special unit of the FBI...
ALEX: Max, you're a genius.
MAX: What?
ALEX: Having Nasedo pose as Pierce. You know, make a mockery of the special unit and the government threat against you. It's really smart.
MAX: I had nothing to do with it. I haven't heard from Nasedo in 3 months.
ALEX: Well, if Nasedo can put an end to this special unit, I'd say, all your problems are solved.
ISABEL: We still have our enemies to deal with.
"We don't know if there are any more out there. We're safe at to the moment" Max tried to explain to his sister.
ISABEL: Or thousands of them could be lining up outside of town right now.
MAX: I just don't think we should live our lives in fear like Michael.
ISABEL: Maybe he's just preparing for the inevitable.
MARIA: They're taking a vote.
CONGRESSMAN: Ladies and gentlemen, I move for the immediate disbandment of that component of the FBI known as the special unit. All those in favor say, aye.
COURTNEY: You people are way too into C-SPAN.
MARIA: Goodbye, Courtney.
CONGRESSMAN: All opposed say, nay.
WHITAKER: Nay.
CONGRESSMAN: The committee recognizes Congresswoman Whitaker.
MARIA: She looks familiar.
ALEX: Yeah, that's Vanessa Whitaker. She's our congresswoman.
MARIA: I've gotta start reading the newspaper.
WHITAKER: Members of the committee...in 1972, the special unit of the FBI investigated a murder. Several curiosities surrounded the event. No murder weapon. No entry wound, other than the presence of silver markings left on the skin, which subsequently vanished, yet the internal organs and tissues of the victim were completely decimated. Now, nuclear analysis of the victim's bones showed traces of a substance dubbed cadmium-x, an element which doesn't exist on earth. It is, simply put...not human.
CONGRESSMAN: Mr. Pierce, in all records, materials, and other findings...appropriated from your offices, we have found no mention of anything known as cadmium-x. Can you explain that to us?
PIERCE: There is no record in our files of the substance called cadmium-x, because there is no substance called cadmium-x. Cadmium-x is a hoax that we invented.
MARIA: I am definitely not in the market for a 30-something shapeshifter, but I have to admit the man rocks. All right, the show's over. I gotta change into my uniform. My shift's starting.
(Everyone leaves except Max)
MARIA: Girlfriend. Like, I know that we bonded over the summer, but I'm not quite ready to show you the bod just yet.
"No. I was just wondering if you were ok. Ya know with what happened" Max asked her nervously
"I'm fine and you know I'd feel a lot better if everyone stop asking me that" Maria said in a huff.
"We're just worried Maria you could've been really hurt" Max said hoping she'd understand.
"Look last night I was really shaken up but I look at this way, something like this was bound to happen sooner or later. And beside it just prove that Micheal little keep his distance theory wont work" Maria signed as told Max then she shooed him out the door.
(In the main area of the Crashdown, Alex is looking through a
newspaper for movie times while Isabel is lost in thought)
ALEX: Oh, look! "One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest" is playing at the Revival Theater at the fairgrounds.
"You know, Alex I've been thinking with everything that's happened with Maria you know that maybe I shouldn't have pushed you away" Isabel said looking into his eyes.
"What are you say Isabel?" Alex ask knowing full well what she was say it what he had been wanting to her all summer but wanted to hear her say it.
"I want to give us another chance if you'll have me?" Isabel asked afraid of what he might say because she hadn't treated well.
"Yeah, how about to the movies on Saturday"Alex said trying real hard to keep from jumping up and down.
"That'll be great. How about at 7?" Isabel asked and smiled at him.
GRANT: Excuse me. Uh, sorry. I didn't mean to...
ISABEL: N-no. You're fine. We're...
GRANT: Uh, Grant Sorenson.
"Isabel Evans and this is my boyfriend Alex Whitman" Isabel introduced them both loving the way it sound. It made Alex feel a little at ease as well.
GRANT: I was just wondering if might be able to tell me where I could find the Sheriff's office.
(Isabel and Alex share a worried glance with each other)
(AN: I just going to post end of the ep.. everything that between this point is the same. Micheal was arrested, max changed the bones, etc..)
MARIA: So, I hear ex-cons are really great in bed.
MICHAEL: I thought we agreed that it was over between us.
MARIA: You agreed, and then you avoided me the entire summer.
MICHAEL: Well, it is.
MARIA: Why? 'Cause you're destined to be with Isabel?
"No because I'm dangerous you being around me puts you endanger and I can't let that happen" Micheal explained to her.
"Micheal you avoid me all summer and someone still come
after me. And I might add he wasn't even after you, Max, Isabel, or Tess. So your whole theory is... just wrong" Maria argued back.
"Ya and you almost got killed Maria and I can't let happen I'm sorry" Micheal said as he got up and walk away.
MARIA: I miss you, Michael.
MICHAEL: I know, but don't. 'I miss you too' Micheal thought to himself
(Max leaves the Crashdown and meets Liz just as she's coming back home)
LIZ: Hey.
MAX: Hey. Let me ask you a question. I know what you said...that things couldn't go back to the way they were, but pretend they could for just one second. Could you and I go back, too?
"We can't go back Max but maybe we can be friends" Liz told him hoping it would be enough.
(Max touches Liz on her arm and she gets a flood of images)
MAX: What?
LIZ: Nothing. Good night.
MAX: Night, Liz.
(Max walks into his room and plops down on the bed)
MAX: Uhh!
(Someone knocks on Max's window)
MAX: Michael, what is it? It's late. Michael?
(Max opens the window and someone tumbles inside)
MAX: Nasedo!
NASEDO: They're among you now.
MAX: Who is? Who's among us?
NASEDO: The skins.
MAX: No. No. No. No!
(The scene ends with Nasedo dying in Max's arms)

Micheal was sitting at the counter in his kitchen when the phone rings. He looks at the caller idea, it's Maria. He wants to pick up so badly but he needs to stay away to keep her safe. He get's up and goes into his bed room were Maria left her clothes. He would have to give them back to her maybe he could ask Max or Isabel to do it. He decide to forget about it until another time.
The Next Day(from skin and bones)
CONGRESSMAN: Mr. Pierce. How much of that spending was authorized by your superiors?
PIERCE: None.
CONGRESSMAN: Huh? Oh, sorry, Mr. Pierce. My hearing isn't what it used to be. Why don't you speak right into the mike?
PIERCE: None.
CONGRESSMAN: Oh, none! Not a penny. For $17 million spent
by so-called special unit of the FBI...
ALEX: Max, you're a genius.
MAX: What?
ALEX: Having Nasedo pose as Pierce. You know, make a mockery of the special unit and the government threat against you. It's really smart.
MAX: I had nothing to do with it. I haven't heard from Nasedo in 3 months.
ALEX: Well, if Nasedo can put an end to this special unit, I'd say, all your problems are solved.
ISABEL: We still have our enemies to deal with.
"We don't know if there are any more out there. We're safe at to the moment" Max tried to explain to his sister.
ISABEL: Or thousands of them could be lining up outside of town right now.
MAX: I just don't think we should live our lives in fear like Michael.
ISABEL: Maybe he's just preparing for the inevitable.
MARIA: They're taking a vote.
CONGRESSMAN: Ladies and gentlemen, I move for the immediate disbandment of that component of the FBI known as the special unit. All those in favor say, aye.
COURTNEY: You people are way too into C-SPAN.
MARIA: Goodbye, Courtney.
CONGRESSMAN: All opposed say, nay.
WHITAKER: Nay.
CONGRESSMAN: The committee recognizes Congresswoman Whitaker.
MARIA: She looks familiar.
ALEX: Yeah, that's Vanessa Whitaker. She's our congresswoman.
MARIA: I've gotta start reading the newspaper.
WHITAKER: Members of the committee...in 1972, the special unit of the FBI investigated a murder. Several curiosities surrounded the event. No murder weapon. No entry wound, other than the presence of silver markings left on the skin, which subsequently vanished, yet the internal organs and tissues of the victim were completely decimated. Now, nuclear analysis of the victim's bones showed traces of a substance dubbed cadmium-x, an element which doesn't exist on earth. It is, simply put...not human.
CONGRESSMAN: Mr. Pierce, in all records, materials, and other findings...appropriated from your offices, we have found no mention of anything known as cadmium-x. Can you explain that to us?
PIERCE: There is no record in our files of the substance called cadmium-x, because there is no substance called cadmium-x. Cadmium-x is a hoax that we invented.
MARIA: I am definitely not in the market for a 30-something shapeshifter, but I have to admit the man rocks. All right, the show's over. I gotta change into my uniform. My shift's starting.
(Everyone leaves except Max)
MARIA: Girlfriend. Like, I know that we bonded over the summer, but I'm not quite ready to show you the bod just yet.
"No. I was just wondering if you were ok. Ya know with what happened" Max asked her nervously
"I'm fine and you know I'd feel a lot better if everyone stop asking me that" Maria said in a huff.
"We're just worried Maria you could've been really hurt" Max said hoping she'd understand.
"Look last night I was really shaken up but I look at this way, something like this was bound to happen sooner or later. And beside it just prove that Micheal little keep his distance theory wont work" Maria signed as told Max then she shooed him out the door.
(In the main area of the Crashdown, Alex is looking through a
newspaper for movie times while Isabel is lost in thought)
ALEX: Oh, look! "One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest" is playing at the Revival Theater at the fairgrounds.
"You know, Alex I've been thinking with everything that's happened with Maria you know that maybe I shouldn't have pushed you away" Isabel said looking into his eyes.
"What are you say Isabel?" Alex ask knowing full well what she was say it what he had been wanting to her all summer but wanted to hear her say it.
"I want to give us another chance if you'll have me?" Isabel asked afraid of what he might say because she hadn't treated well.
"Yeah, how about to the movies on Saturday"Alex said trying real hard to keep from jumping up and down.
"That'll be great. How about at 7?" Isabel asked and smiled at him.
GRANT: Excuse me. Uh, sorry. I didn't mean to...
ISABEL: N-no. You're fine. We're...
GRANT: Uh, Grant Sorenson.
"Isabel Evans and this is my boyfriend Alex Whitman" Isabel introduced them both loving the way it sound. It made Alex feel a little at ease as well.
GRANT: I was just wondering if might be able to tell me where I could find the Sheriff's office.
(Isabel and Alex share a worried glance with each other)
(AN: I just going to post end of the ep.. everything that between this point is the same. Micheal was arrested, max changed the bones, etc..)
MARIA: So, I hear ex-cons are really great in bed.
MICHAEL: I thought we agreed that it was over between us.
MARIA: You agreed, and then you avoided me the entire summer.
MICHAEL: Well, it is.
MARIA: Why? 'Cause you're destined to be with Isabel?
"No because I'm dangerous you being around me puts you endanger and I can't let that happen" Micheal explained to her.
"Micheal you avoid me all summer and someone still come
after me. And I might add he wasn't even after you, Max, Isabel, or Tess. So your whole theory is... just wrong" Maria argued back.
"Ya and you almost got killed Maria and I can't let happen I'm sorry" Micheal said as he got up and walk away.
MARIA: I miss you, Michael.
MICHAEL: I know, but don't. 'I miss you too' Micheal thought to himself
(Max leaves the Crashdown and meets Liz just as she's coming back home)
LIZ: Hey.
MAX: Hey. Let me ask you a question. I know what you said...that things couldn't go back to the way they were, but pretend they could for just one second. Could you and I go back, too?
"We can't go back Max but maybe we can be friends" Liz told him hoping it would be enough.
(Max touches Liz on her arm and she gets a flood of images)
MAX: What?
LIZ: Nothing. Good night.
MAX: Night, Liz.
(Max walks into his room and plops down on the bed)
MAX: Uhh!
(Someone knocks on Max's window)
MAX: Michael, what is it? It's late. Michael?
(Max opens the window and someone tumbles inside)
MAX: Nasedo!
NASEDO: They're among you now.
MAX: Who is? Who's among us?
NASEDO: The skins.
MAX: No. No. No. No!
(The scene ends with Nasedo dying in Max's arms)

(Isabel is on her way to the Crashdown, where her friends have prepared a surprise party. She's wearing a party dress)
EVERYONE: Surprise!
MRS. EVANS: Oh, happy birthday, sweetheart!
ISABEL: Oh, my God! Oh! I could kill you all.
MRS. EVANS: Kill your brother. He's the one who planned the entire thing.
MAX: Happy birthday, old lady.
ISABEL: Max, I can't believe you did this with everything that's happening.
MAX: It's still your birthday.
ISABEL: Max, you're the worst, really. I don't know what to say.
"Well you need to tell max that because he was really stressed you'd find out" Tess said as she went into hug Isabel.
ISABEL: I had no idea.
MAX: Really?
MICHAEL: Alex told you to come by so he could give you back a book. I mean, what a lame excuse. How could you not figure that out?
ISABEL: Where is Alex, anyway?
"He's, um, he's still getting dressed" Tess said with a smirk.
(We see Courtney using her alien power to fill some empty glasses with beverages)
MRS. EVANS: Can you believe your brother did all of this in, like, 3 days' time?
ISABEL: No.
COURTNEY: Happy birthday to you.
ISABEL: Oh, thank you.
COURTNEY: Mm-hmm.
MRS. EVANS: Oh, honey. You know, your dad is beside himself that he's still stuck in Minneapolis.
ISABEL: That's ok. Poor guy.
MRS. EVANS: By the way, honey, why are you wearing that dress?
ISABEL: Um, oh...
MICHAEL: Yeah. If you really didn't know about the party,
then how'd you know to dress up?
"I didn't, Alex said we were going out for dinner but he had to get a book he borrowed to Maria that he borrowed from me." Isabel explained with a little disappointment.
(Isabel has a vision of Maria in an accident. She drops her drink)
ISABEL: Oh, God.
MRS. EVANS: Are you all right?
ISABEL: I'm just so clumsy tonight.
COURTNEY: I'll get that.
ISABEL: Are you sure? I can...I can get it.
COURTNEY: This is your night.
(In Whitaker's office, Liz is dancing a bit while organizing some files. Whitaker comes in and wonders what's going on) (AN: Nothing change in this scene Liz finds out that Whitaker's be listening to her conversations)
(Isabel has another vision of a reds sign. She hurries into the back room)
ISABEL: Uhh.
MAX: What is it?
ISABEL: Had this headache on and off all day.
MAX: You're sweating.
ISABEL: I'm fine. It's...
(Tess interrupts)
Tess: Ahem. Isabel, you better come out. There's a policeman
here to see you.
ISABEL: A policeman? What's going on?
Tess: He's asking for you.
MAX: You better go.
(Isabel enters the main Crashdown area, followed by Max and
Tess. Alex has dressed up in a policeman uniform and starts removing his clothes)
ALEX: You love that!
(Mrs. Evans is appalled by this striptease. She walks up to Alex)
ALEX: Hi, Ms. Evans. Great party.
Alex goes to sit down next to Micheal and Kyle
"I can't believe I did a striptease in front of her mother." Alex groaned
"I don't one nipple counts as a striptease" Micheal said sarcastically
"Where's Maria she's the one that talk me into this" Alex said as he put his head down in shame.
Kyle was ranting about living with Tess.
KYLE: Seriously. So, she's got her underwear and her bras and her girlie things all over the bathroom. Every time I go in to shave, I feel like I'm walking into Victoria's Secret.
MICHAEL: So what's not to like?
"Alex where's Maria?" Isabel couldn't fight this strange feeling she was having.
"I think she went to Jensen's to get your present." Alex said not able to face her.
(Isabel sees more visions of Maria)
ISABEL: Unh!
MICHAEL: What's going on?
ISABEL: Nothing. Nothing. It's just my headache.
(The cake is brought out. Everyone starts singing "Happy Birthday", but during the song, Isabel sees Tess repeatedly asking her for help)
Isabel see a a badly beaten Maria running towards her screaming "Isabel! Help me, please help me! Isabel! Help me, Isabel! Please help me! Isabel!"
(Isabel explains her vision to Max, Michael, and Tess in the back room)
ISABEL: It was like she was really here. She was hurt and crying for help.
MAX: Who was the last person to see her?
"Alex said he thinks she went to Jensen's to buy a present but he isn't sure" Micheal said with sickening feeling in his gut.
ISABEL: She's in danger.
"Yeah. It's got to be Nasedo's killer. He's after Maria but Why?" Micheal sighed
COURTNEY: Trust me, nobody's after Maria. All that blond hair and eye shadow? She's like Dolly Parton without the jugs.
MICHAEL: Could you just go refill the ketchups or something?
ISABEL: We've got to find her.
(Liz and Alex enter the back room)
LIZ: We've got a problem.
"I know. Maria is missing. Again" Max explain to her two best friends
"What? How? Who?" Both Liz and Alex cried out.
MICHAEL: Isabel had a vision that she was in trouble.
"That's weird but did see where see was, who took her, anything" Alex asked. All eyes turned Isabel who shook her head no.
LIZ: Here's something else weird - Whitaker has been taping my phone conversations at work. I found a CD. But the thing is how come she hasn't busted me yet?
MICHAEL: Maybe because she hasn't given up alien-hunting after all.
LIZ: She's out there right now.
ISABEL: At my party?
LIZ: Yeah...um, she sort of invited herself.
COURTNEY: So, the real party's in here.
Liz: Could you, like, go refill the ketchups or something?
COURTNEY: Done.
Liz: Sugars, then.
MICHAEL: Maybe Whitaker's got something to do with this Maria thing.
"Michael and Alex you go to her office...see what you can find. I'm going to get Valenti. We'll check out her house to if there are any clues there" Max order.
ISABEL: What should I do?
MAX: Make sure Whitaker stays here so Michael can search her office.
ISABEL: I can't just stay here knowing everything that's happening.
MAX: We'll handle it. Just...just try to enjoy your party.
ISABEL: Like I can, Max. I'm the one who saw the visions. I'm going after her.
MAX: Let me take care of it.
(Outside in the main Crashdown area, Whitaker is mingling)
(Isabel begin to open presents the first of is a small alien stick figure)
ISABEL: Oh. Ho ho ho. Who's this from?
MRS. EVANS: Who's the comedian?
ISABEL: Just what I always wanted, guys. Thank you.
MRS. EVANS: Here. This one's from your dad.
(Isabel gets another vision of Maria in trouble)
ISABEL: Ahhh.
MRS. EVANS: What's wrong, honey?
ISABEL: Noth...nothing. I...you know, I've...I've had this headache all day. I think there's aspirin in the back.
(Isabel goes to the back room, followed by Liz and Tess)
LIZ: Did you have another vision?
ISABEL: Give me your keys.
"What Isabel you heard what Max said we can't go after her" Tess exclaimed
"I know where she is and there's now time to wait for the others" Isabel explained
"Where are you going" Liz asked
"I saw a sign that said "RED'S"" Isabel explained
"I've never seen a "RED'S" in roswell. Are you sure you even know where it is" Tess wonder.
"I think I might know what your talking about but I'm not sure" Liz said hoping this would led them to Maria.
"Wait, Max said not to leave" Tess said wishing they would wait for him to get back
"Max isn't here. And ever second we waste put Maria at risk" Isabel wish Tess would stop being Max's little follower
"Fine let's go" Tess gave up.
"No. You have to cover for me. Liz knows where it is so she'll have to come with me
(Max and Sheriff Valenti search through Maria's stuff, trying
to find out where she was and who may have last seen her. There were no signs of force entry or that of a struggle. Amy wasn't home either.)
(Michael and Alex breaks into Whitaker's office and starts looking around. Micheal finds a file for Courtney and takes a picture from the file. Michael sees Whitaker unlocking the office door and he and Alex make a hasty retreat just before she enters)
(Liz drives Isabel to a rundown restaurant called Fred's. The "F" on the neon sign isn't lit up)
"There's your "RED'S"" Liz states seeing no sign of Maria
"That's it" Isabel recognizing the sign from her vision.
(Isabel sees Maria's car, which has been damaged. It's been abandoned)
"Shit. Where is she?" Isabel exclaims after seeing no sign of Maria
"Maybe she was thrown out of the car and um, maybe the paramedics already came." Liz said frantic hoping her friend was o.k.
ISABEL: I don't think so.
(Isabel finds a piece of skin on Maria's car. It disintegrates in her hand)
ISABEL: No. She was taken.
"Alright I'm call Max....Ahh, I can't get a signal this far out" Liz says as she tries to call for help.
ISABEL: I see some tracks. 2 sets of tires, see? But look here. They swerve near Tess' car...then go out in that direction.
Liz: Straight into nowhere.
ISABEL: Nowhere's where we're going.
(Liz and Isabel arrive at Chavez County Electric Power Facility - Plant #2)
"She's in there, I can feel it" Isabel said not know how she know or what was drawing her here. All she knew is that she had to go.
"Wait. Now, you don't know that for sure. We need to get Max and Michael"
ISABEL: Then go get them.
Liz: No. No. No. You're not going in there by yourself.
ISABEL: I have to.
Liz: No. I'm not gonna leave you.
ISABEL: Look. Go get Max and Michael, all right? Just go. But
I can't wait. I have to go in.
Liz: All right. Here. Take the flashlight.
ISABEL: Ok.
(Isabel rips her dress as she climbs through the fence. She takes off her shoes)
(Courtney goes outside the Crashdown to smoke a cigarette. Alex has gone inside to tell the others what they found.Michael confronts Courtney.)
(Liz pulls up in Tess' car just as Michael has his hands on Courtney's shoulders)
"Micheal, Isabel in trouble we need to go find Max" Liz exclaimed not believing what she was seeing.
(Isabel searches through the power plant, frequently hearing sobbing noises. She eventually finds Maria, battered and bruised on the floor)
ISABEL: Oh, Maria. Oh, God. Maria. Oh, God. Wake up. Oh, wake up.
(Liz and Michael are on the way to the power plant)
MICHAEL: I can't believe you let her go after Maria alone.
Liz: She didn't give me a choice.
MICHAEL: Well, where's the phone? I'm gonna call Valenti. Get
him and Max to meet us there.
(Back at the Crashdown, Tess is trying to get in touch with Max)
"Come on. Someone answer the phone...anyone. Damn it" Tess exclaimed wondering why they really weren't answering
MRS. EVANS: Tess, have you seen Isabel?
Tess: Isabel?
(Back at the power plant)
"Come on,Maria. I'll get you up. Come on, I'll get you up" Isabel says as she struggles to get Maria Up
(Back at the Crashdown)
Tess: She, uh, spilled punch...you know, on her dress.
MRS. EVANS: Oh, my.
Tess: But she had to leave because she had to go take care of it. It was...it was upsetting her.
MRS. EVANS: Sometimes, honey, if one hair is out of place,
she won't leave the house.
(Back to Isabel and Maria. Isabel moves Maria to an empty room, and bolts the door)
"There. Maria. Maria, stay with me. Stay with me, Maria. Damn it. Don't die on me now. Maria come on up your eyes" Isabel said as she gently shook her
(The bolts on the door slide over by themselves. Someone is opening them from the other side with an alien power. The door swings open and we see Congresswoman Whitaker)
ISABEL: It's you.
WHITAKER: Impressive.
ISABEL: What?
"You. Coming here like this. I knew by taking her it would lure you here" Whitaker stated.
"You took her just to bring the four of us here. Oh, God. What is it you want from us? " Isabel asked hating that Maria was just being used as a pawn.
WHITAKER: Where's the granilith?
ISABEL: The what?
WHITAKER: The granilith. Don't pretend you don't know. We've been looking for it. We can't exist here like you...not in our natural state. We don't have the DNA. All we have are these...uh, skins. Our limit is 50 years. My time is almost up. I need to find the granilith if it's the last thing I do.
ISABEL: I don't know what you're talking about.
WHITAKER: You're hiding it. The four of you. The royalty they tried to save by sending you here. You're gonna help us.
ISABEL: Never.
WHITAKER: You did before. You will again.
ISABEL: You killed Nasedo, didn't you?
WHITAKER: To save you.
ISABEL: From what?
WHITAKER: The other 3. You belong with us, our race. We're
in charge now. Your kind doesn't rule anymore.
ISABEL: I'm not one of you.
"You don't remember, do you? Let me give you a piece of history about your planet. Your name was Vilandra, and you were beautiful...even more beautiful than you are now. You had a great love...and for him...for us...you betrayed your brother, your race. I was going to take you or the other girl knew my chances were 50/50 but when I met Maria I knew she bring you straight to me" Whitaker stated.
"No I would never betray my family... You sent me those vision didn't you" Isabel exclaimed not believing what she was hearing.
"No she did, subconsciously at least. Apart of her knows the truth and so do you. She your sister. It seems she was engineered differently but it's her. And you sacrificed her. You sacrificed brother. You sacrificed everyone...even yourself. And history, my dear, always repeats itself" Whitaker said as reached out her hand to try and touch Isabel.
"God, you liar. We're leaving. Maria, come on. Come on" Isabel says as she helps Maria up
WHITAKER: Not until you tell me where you're hiding the granilith.
ISABEL: I told you before, I don't know what you're talking about.
WHITAKER: Well, maybe this will help jog your memory.
(Whitaker raises her hand and an invisible force knocks Maria into the air. She lands with a thud)
Maria: Uhh! Unh!
ISABEL: Stop it! Stop hurting her!
WHITAKER: I'll stop when you tell me what I want to know.
(Isabel helps Maria to her and feet and then jumps with her through the window to the platform below. They start making their way to the exit and Whitaker gives chase)
ISABEL: Come on.
(Isabel and Maria make it to the outside. Whitaker also makes
it to the outside. She tears off an electrical cable. Max sees them from the gate to the power facility)
MAX: Isabel!
WHITAKER: Where's the granilith?
ISABEL: Get away from us!
WHITAKER: I'll destroy you. I'll destroy you all if I have to.
(Whitaker uses her power to start sending a stream of electrical sparks through the cable towards Isabel and Maria)
ISABEL: No. No! Get away from us!
(Isabel holds out her hand and an invisible force reflects the electricity back at Whitaker. She blows up in a hail of shedded skin)
(Max, Sheriff Valenti, Michael, and Liz rush in to help. Sheriff Valenti carries Maria to his car with Liz trailing behind him.)
MAX: What happened?
ISABEL: It was Whitaker. She killed Nasedo.
MAX: It's ok.
ISABEL: No, it's not. It's not ok.
MICHAEL: I know how I...after I used my powers on
Pierce...and Letis. So, uh, if you want to talk or something...
"I think Maria needs you more right now" Isabel says to Micheal.
"I didn't know I was capable of this" Isabel says to Max as Micheal goes to be with Maria.
MAX: You're getting stronger.
ISABEL: We all are. Nasedo said we would.
MAX: We have to protect each other. What you did for Maria, I know you would do for me, and I would do for you. No one can come between us.
ISABEL: Max, she said things.
MAX: What kind of things?
"Something about a granilith. She said Maria... She's... our sister Max.. from before" Isabel manged to utter out.
"That's not possible. I mean Maria's human, she was born"
Max said in disbelief
"Whitaker said she must have been engineered differently but it's true. Max I felt her... She was calling out to me...apart of us knows it's true" Isabel explains
"Do you wanna talk about it" Max asks he sister knowing there's something she's not telling him.
ISABEL: I think I just need to be alone.
(Isabel goes to the pod chamber by herself)
ISABEL: Happy birthday, Isabel. I'm 17 today, mother. October 25th. At least that's the day we've always celebrated as my birthday. But you're the only one really who knows the real day. I guess that's why I came to the place, the only place I've ever seen you. I hold...I hold on to that day, but you disappeared, and the picture of you was already fading, and it's all I had. I was so happy because you were beautiful and warm, and I even thought I looked like you. But it wasn't you...not really. God, I don't know what you look like. Maybe I'll never know. It isn't fair. It isn't fair. I need you. I need you. Where are you? Oh, God, it's my birthday. We should be together. How could you leave us? How could you tell us all this important information about destinies and saving the world and then just disappear? Oh, God. I...I killed a person...uh, an...an enemy, an...an alien? Does that make it ok? Oh, God. What was she talking about? What was she talking about? She said I betrayed my family. Is it true? Is it true? Am I a terrible person? Answer me. Answer me. Come on, answer me!
(Isabel grabs a nearby rock and throws it at the pods in frustration. There is a glow from one of the pod chambers. Isabel crawls into one of the pods. At the back of that chamber, a previously hidden door slides open, revealing a humming alien device. The scene fades out with Isabel gazing upon the granilith)
ISABEL: The granilith.

(The episode begins with the four aliens in the granilith chamber)
TESS: Sounds like the fluorescent lights in bio lab.
MICHAEL: Did Nasedo ever mention a rock collection?
TESS: Do you think it can hear us?
MAX: We'll come back after school.
"What about Maria? We should tell her what Whitiker said" Isabel said with a sigh.
"We don't even know if she was telling the truth" Tess said knowing it couldn't be true.
"I know what I felt and she is our sister" Isabel explained to Tess
"That may be Isabel but we can't tell her anything, not yet" Max said to his sister.
"Why not? She has a right to know why she was taken. And what if Whitiker wasn't the last, Maria could still be endanger" Isabel said trying to convince her brother.
"I know but like Tess said we don't know if it's true. we should wait till we have more information at least. And how exactly are we going to explain this to her without proof. I mean Maria was conceived and born the natural way. How do we know that Whitiker wasn't playing some kind of a mind game with you? I know you want to know and so do I but we need to wait, ok." Max explained hoping it would satisfy Isabel for now.
"Fine" was all Isabel said as she left the podchamber. The others followed shortly.
(At school, Michael and Max are walking through the halls)
MAX: After ninth period, we'll go back.
MICHAEL: Way to prioritize, Maxwell.
(Michael walks up to Maria)
"Hey" Micheal says to as he walks up to Maria.
"Hey" Maria says back and continues to walk away.
"Are you ok?" Micheal asked as he grabbed her arm.
"I'm fine. Now let me go so I get to class" Maria said trying to yank her arm free.
"What wrong with you? why are try to avoid me? I mean for the whole summer you were hounding me to talk to you and now when I do you don't want anything to do with me. What's up with that?" Micheal asked irritatedly.
Maria get's closer to Micheal so no one could what she was about to say. "That's it I spent the whole summer trying to get through to you and you avoid me. I had my life threated twice. I could have died and you were there. But after the whole Letis thing I still needed you, not Max or Isabel or even Alex or Liz, I needed you. I called you and I know you were home and I needed you and you blow me off. So now I'm think that you're only willing to be there for me when I'm endanger well I need you when I'm not too. And I'm starting too wonder if I wasted three months of my life, I wondering if your worth it. And at this point I not so sure." Maria said as she walked away.
(Michael walks over to Max who's been waiting for him)
"What happened?" Max asked seeing the grave look on his friends face.
"I don't want to talk about" Micheal said trying to soak in everything Maria said.
(Liz walks up to Max)
LIZ: Oh, Max...look, I don't know what to do. Calls keep on coming into Congresswoman Whitaker's office. Should I return them or...
MICHAEL: Not now.
LIZ (to Max): We'll talk in trig.
MAX (to Michael): You know, mean people suck.
(Michael's history teacher walks up to him)
AN: I going to summarize this part. Micheal meets Hal Carver and tells him about the crash and the conspiracy to cover it up.
(Back in present-day Roswell. Hal has set up some bottles on a truck and shoots at them with his gun)
HAL: Wanna try?
MICHAEL: What did you see? What was in those sacs?
HAL: I never planned on telling this much of the story, kid. I never have.
MICHAEL: Please.
HAL: They looked like human fetuses. There was 4 to a sac. 8 total. One sac had a glow about them, the other didn't. I think those ones might have been dead. That night, I packed my things and never came back. The base was on full alert. There was no way anybody or anything else could have escaped...and that's the story of Hal Carver. The only time I ever stuck my neck out to save anything...and it all went to hell.
(Michael reaches out his hand and blows up the bottles from a distance)
MICHAEL: You saved me.
(He then turns to Hal who is having trouble lighting his cigarette. Michael creates a flame on his thumb. Hal and Michael hug)
(At school, Liz is getting stuff out of her locker. Michael stops by)
MICHAEL: Have you seen Max?
LIZ: Oh, Michael. Um, no. He said something about stopping by the Crashdown later.
MICHAEL: You ok?
LIZ: Me? Yeah. Sure. Why?
MICHAEL: Well, the whole Congresswoman Whitaker thing. We'll work it out.
LIZ: Yeah, I know.
MICHAEL: And, uh, and this morning...yeah...I'm sorry.
LIZ: Thank you. Did Max ask you to do that?
MICHAEL: What?
LIZ: The whole being nice thing.
MICHAEL: No. I came up with it myself.
(Michael starts to walk away)
LIZ: I like it.
(Michael has brought Maria to the granilith chamber)
MICHAEL: Meet the reason I haven't been returning your phone calls.
MARIA: My God. What is it?
MICHAEL: I don't know...but eventually I'm hoping we can find out.
MARIA: "We?" You didn't even choke on that.
MICHAEL: Well, today I had a little history lesson, and here's the thing...I owe more to you than
I can imagine. To Liz, Alex, Valenti, to some old guy named Hal who lives in Tampa and plays shuffleboard. I never realized it...so here it is.
(Michael holds out both hands to Maria)
MICHAEL: Thank you.
(Maria places her hands in Michael's)
MARIA: You're welcome. What's wrong?
MICHAEL: You know those pods that housed Max, Isabel, Tess, and me?
MARIA: Yeah, before you were born?
"Well, there was another set of them" Micheal told her.
"What do you mean was?" Maria asked a little confused.
"That guy Hal was there during the crash and he actual saw the pods. He said that one had this glow about them and the other didn't like the fetuses inside were died. And what I'm about to tell may not seem possible but I can't think of any other explanation." Micheal said worried at how he was going to explain this to her.
"Micheal what are you talking about?" Maria asked.
"Well when Whitiker took you Isabel had flashes of you. Whitiker told her it was because some part of you called out to her because you're Max and Isabel's sister" Micheal explained.
"No, that's not possible. I mean I not an alien. My mother can give in great detail the process of my birth. There is nothing alien about me" Maria said as she begun to freak out.
"I know this sounds weird but we should really talk to the others" Micheal said as he did his best to calm her down.
(Micheal and Maria leave the podchamber and went to his apartment. On the way Maria calls the others to meet them there)
At Micheal's Apartment Micheal tells the others what Hal told him.
"So what your say is that there suposse to be eight of us. Did Nasedo ever mention this to you?" Isabel asked looking at Tess.
"No, he always told me that we were the only four" Tess explained.
"So, what does this exactly mean? I mean I still do get how Maria could be an Alien" Alex asked very confused.
"I don't think Maria's the only one.....Think about it. Why out all the people we could have told we Maria, Alex and Liz... and now Kyle. What if when the other fetuses died the protectors did something to keep there "essences" alive" Isabel theorized.
"No, I'm not a freakin' Alien. I'd think I'd know" Kyle exclaimed why he had let Tess talk him in to coming here.
"Look would you just think about it for a second. Something compelled Max to save Liz that day at the Crashdown maybe some part of us knows the truth" Isabel explained.
"What about the message from your mother?" Maria asked wondering if this woman was her mother too.
"It could have been a fake. If what Isabel is saying is true then the protectors had no way of knowing if their plan would work. The ship was gone along with any kind of technology. It could been a plan C for just in case" Max said hoping it was true.
"Even so any kind of genetic alteration would have to be done in the womb and how would the get access to our mothers?" Liz wondered hoping Max was right.
"Nasedo was a shapeshfter the other was probably too. They could have been posing as doctors. and there were all kinds of prenatal care going on in the 80's" Max explained.
"Well the only way we're to find out if our mother's went through unusual pregnancies is if we ask. Maybe we could tell them we 're doing a report for school on prenatal care in the 80's" Liz suggested.
Liz, Alex, and Maria agreed to talk heir mothers and see what they could find out. Kyle would get what he could from his dad.
-Maria's house-
"Hey mom" Maria greeted her mother who was int the kitchen making dinner.
"Hi sweety, how was your day?" Amy asked her daughter.
"Oh, it was fine but I have this project I need your help on. You see I have to this report on prenatal care in the 80's and I was thinking of doing on your actual experiences" Maria told her mother.
"Ok, what do you want to know?" Amy asked sitting down next to Maria at the kitchen table.

EVERYONE: Surprise!
MRS. EVANS: Oh, happy birthday, sweetheart!
ISABEL: Oh, my God! Oh! I could kill you all.
MRS. EVANS: Kill your brother. He's the one who planned the entire thing.
MAX: Happy birthday, old lady.
ISABEL: Max, I can't believe you did this with everything that's happening.
MAX: It's still your birthday.
ISABEL: Max, you're the worst, really. I don't know what to say.
"Well you need to tell max that because he was really stressed you'd find out" Tess said as she went into hug Isabel.
ISABEL: I had no idea.
MAX: Really?
MICHAEL: Alex told you to come by so he could give you back a book. I mean, what a lame excuse. How could you not figure that out?
ISABEL: Where is Alex, anyway?
"He's, um, he's still getting dressed" Tess said with a smirk.
(We see Courtney using her alien power to fill some empty glasses with beverages)
MRS. EVANS: Can you believe your brother did all of this in, like, 3 days' time?
ISABEL: No.
COURTNEY: Happy birthday to you.
ISABEL: Oh, thank you.
COURTNEY: Mm-hmm.
MRS. EVANS: Oh, honey. You know, your dad is beside himself that he's still stuck in Minneapolis.
ISABEL: That's ok. Poor guy.
MRS. EVANS: By the way, honey, why are you wearing that dress?
ISABEL: Um, oh...
MICHAEL: Yeah. If you really didn't know about the party,
then how'd you know to dress up?
"I didn't, Alex said we were going out for dinner but he had to get a book he borrowed to Maria that he borrowed from me." Isabel explained with a little disappointment.
(Isabel has a vision of Maria in an accident. She drops her drink)
ISABEL: Oh, God.
MRS. EVANS: Are you all right?
ISABEL: I'm just so clumsy tonight.
COURTNEY: I'll get that.
ISABEL: Are you sure? I can...I can get it.
COURTNEY: This is your night.
(In Whitaker's office, Liz is dancing a bit while organizing some files. Whitaker comes in and wonders what's going on) (AN: Nothing change in this scene Liz finds out that Whitaker's be listening to her conversations)
(Isabel has another vision of a reds sign. She hurries into the back room)
ISABEL: Uhh.
MAX: What is it?
ISABEL: Had this headache on and off all day.
MAX: You're sweating.
ISABEL: I'm fine. It's...
(Tess interrupts)
Tess: Ahem. Isabel, you better come out. There's a policeman
here to see you.
ISABEL: A policeman? What's going on?
Tess: He's asking for you.
MAX: You better go.
(Isabel enters the main Crashdown area, followed by Max and
Tess. Alex has dressed up in a policeman uniform and starts removing his clothes)
ALEX: You love that!
(Mrs. Evans is appalled by this striptease. She walks up to Alex)
ALEX: Hi, Ms. Evans. Great party.
Alex goes to sit down next to Micheal and Kyle
"I can't believe I did a striptease in front of her mother." Alex groaned
"I don't one nipple counts as a striptease" Micheal said sarcastically
"Where's Maria she's the one that talk me into this" Alex said as he put his head down in shame.
Kyle was ranting about living with Tess.
KYLE: Seriously. So, she's got her underwear and her bras and her girlie things all over the bathroom. Every time I go in to shave, I feel like I'm walking into Victoria's Secret.
MICHAEL: So what's not to like?
"Alex where's Maria?" Isabel couldn't fight this strange feeling she was having.
"I think she went to Jensen's to get your present." Alex said not able to face her.
(Isabel sees more visions of Maria)
ISABEL: Unh!
MICHAEL: What's going on?
ISABEL: Nothing. Nothing. It's just my headache.
(The cake is brought out. Everyone starts singing "Happy Birthday", but during the song, Isabel sees Tess repeatedly asking her for help)
Isabel see a a badly beaten Maria running towards her screaming "Isabel! Help me, please help me! Isabel! Help me, Isabel! Please help me! Isabel!"
(Isabel explains her vision to Max, Michael, and Tess in the back room)
ISABEL: It was like she was really here. She was hurt and crying for help.
MAX: Who was the last person to see her?
"Alex said he thinks she went to Jensen's to buy a present but he isn't sure" Micheal said with sickening feeling in his gut.
ISABEL: She's in danger.
"Yeah. It's got to be Nasedo's killer. He's after Maria but Why?" Micheal sighed
COURTNEY: Trust me, nobody's after Maria. All that blond hair and eye shadow? She's like Dolly Parton without the jugs.
MICHAEL: Could you just go refill the ketchups or something?
ISABEL: We've got to find her.
(Liz and Alex enter the back room)
LIZ: We've got a problem.
"I know. Maria is missing. Again" Max explain to her two best friends
"What? How? Who?" Both Liz and Alex cried out.
MICHAEL: Isabel had a vision that she was in trouble.
"That's weird but did see where see was, who took her, anything" Alex asked. All eyes turned Isabel who shook her head no.
LIZ: Here's something else weird - Whitaker has been taping my phone conversations at work. I found a CD. But the thing is how come she hasn't busted me yet?
MICHAEL: Maybe because she hasn't given up alien-hunting after all.
LIZ: She's out there right now.
ISABEL: At my party?
LIZ: Yeah...um, she sort of invited herself.
COURTNEY: So, the real party's in here.
Liz: Could you, like, go refill the ketchups or something?
COURTNEY: Done.
Liz: Sugars, then.
MICHAEL: Maybe Whitaker's got something to do with this Maria thing.
"Michael and Alex you go to her office...see what you can find. I'm going to get Valenti. We'll check out her house to if there are any clues there" Max order.
ISABEL: What should I do?
MAX: Make sure Whitaker stays here so Michael can search her office.
ISABEL: I can't just stay here knowing everything that's happening.
MAX: We'll handle it. Just...just try to enjoy your party.
ISABEL: Like I can, Max. I'm the one who saw the visions. I'm going after her.
MAX: Let me take care of it.
(Outside in the main Crashdown area, Whitaker is mingling)
(Isabel begin to open presents the first of is a small alien stick figure)
ISABEL: Oh. Ho ho ho. Who's this from?
MRS. EVANS: Who's the comedian?
ISABEL: Just what I always wanted, guys. Thank you.
MRS. EVANS: Here. This one's from your dad.
(Isabel gets another vision of Maria in trouble)
ISABEL: Ahhh.
MRS. EVANS: What's wrong, honey?
ISABEL: Noth...nothing. I...you know, I've...I've had this headache all day. I think there's aspirin in the back.
(Isabel goes to the back room, followed by Liz and Tess)
LIZ: Did you have another vision?
ISABEL: Give me your keys.
"What Isabel you heard what Max said we can't go after her" Tess exclaimed
"I know where she is and there's now time to wait for the others" Isabel explained
"Where are you going" Liz asked
"I saw a sign that said "RED'S"" Isabel explained
"I've never seen a "RED'S" in roswell. Are you sure you even know where it is" Tess wonder.
"I think I might know what your talking about but I'm not sure" Liz said hoping this would led them to Maria.
"Wait, Max said not to leave" Tess said wishing they would wait for him to get back
"Max isn't here. And ever second we waste put Maria at risk" Isabel wish Tess would stop being Max's little follower
"Fine let's go" Tess gave up.
"No. You have to cover for me. Liz knows where it is so she'll have to come with me
(Max and Sheriff Valenti search through Maria's stuff, trying
to find out where she was and who may have last seen her. There were no signs of force entry or that of a struggle. Amy wasn't home either.)
(Michael and Alex breaks into Whitaker's office and starts looking around. Micheal finds a file for Courtney and takes a picture from the file. Michael sees Whitaker unlocking the office door and he and Alex make a hasty retreat just before she enters)
(Liz drives Isabel to a rundown restaurant called Fred's. The "F" on the neon sign isn't lit up)
"There's your "RED'S"" Liz states seeing no sign of Maria
"That's it" Isabel recognizing the sign from her vision.
(Isabel sees Maria's car, which has been damaged. It's been abandoned)
"Shit. Where is she?" Isabel exclaims after seeing no sign of Maria
"Maybe she was thrown out of the car and um, maybe the paramedics already came." Liz said frantic hoping her friend was o.k.
ISABEL: I don't think so.
(Isabel finds a piece of skin on Maria's car. It disintegrates in her hand)
ISABEL: No. She was taken.
"Alright I'm call Max....Ahh, I can't get a signal this far out" Liz says as she tries to call for help.
ISABEL: I see some tracks. 2 sets of tires, see? But look here. They swerve near Tess' car...then go out in that direction.
Liz: Straight into nowhere.
ISABEL: Nowhere's where we're going.
(Liz and Isabel arrive at Chavez County Electric Power Facility - Plant #2)
"She's in there, I can feel it" Isabel said not know how she know or what was drawing her here. All she knew is that she had to go.
"Wait. Now, you don't know that for sure. We need to get Max and Michael"
ISABEL: Then go get them.
Liz: No. No. No. You're not going in there by yourself.
ISABEL: I have to.
Liz: No. I'm not gonna leave you.
ISABEL: Look. Go get Max and Michael, all right? Just go. But
I can't wait. I have to go in.
Liz: All right. Here. Take the flashlight.
ISABEL: Ok.
(Isabel rips her dress as she climbs through the fence. She takes off her shoes)
(Courtney goes outside the Crashdown to smoke a cigarette. Alex has gone inside to tell the others what they found.Michael confronts Courtney.)
(Liz pulls up in Tess' car just as Michael has his hands on Courtney's shoulders)
"Micheal, Isabel in trouble we need to go find Max" Liz exclaimed not believing what she was seeing.
(Isabel searches through the power plant, frequently hearing sobbing noises. She eventually finds Maria, battered and bruised on the floor)
ISABEL: Oh, Maria. Oh, God. Maria. Oh, God. Wake up. Oh, wake up.
(Liz and Michael are on the way to the power plant)
MICHAEL: I can't believe you let her go after Maria alone.
Liz: She didn't give me a choice.
MICHAEL: Well, where's the phone? I'm gonna call Valenti. Get
him and Max to meet us there.
(Back at the Crashdown, Tess is trying to get in touch with Max)
"Come on. Someone answer the phone...anyone. Damn it" Tess exclaimed wondering why they really weren't answering
MRS. EVANS: Tess, have you seen Isabel?
Tess: Isabel?
(Back at the power plant)
"Come on,Maria. I'll get you up. Come on, I'll get you up" Isabel says as she struggles to get Maria Up
(Back at the Crashdown)
Tess: She, uh, spilled punch...you know, on her dress.
MRS. EVANS: Oh, my.
Tess: But she had to leave because she had to go take care of it. It was...it was upsetting her.
MRS. EVANS: Sometimes, honey, if one hair is out of place,
she won't leave the house.
(Back to Isabel and Maria. Isabel moves Maria to an empty room, and bolts the door)
"There. Maria. Maria, stay with me. Stay with me, Maria. Damn it. Don't die on me now. Maria come on up your eyes" Isabel said as she gently shook her
(The bolts on the door slide over by themselves. Someone is opening them from the other side with an alien power. The door swings open and we see Congresswoman Whitaker)
ISABEL: It's you.
WHITAKER: Impressive.
ISABEL: What?
"You. Coming here like this. I knew by taking her it would lure you here" Whitaker stated.
"You took her just to bring the four of us here. Oh, God. What is it you want from us? " Isabel asked hating that Maria was just being used as a pawn.
WHITAKER: Where's the granilith?
ISABEL: The what?
WHITAKER: The granilith. Don't pretend you don't know. We've been looking for it. We can't exist here like you...not in our natural state. We don't have the DNA. All we have are these...uh, skins. Our limit is 50 years. My time is almost up. I need to find the granilith if it's the last thing I do.
ISABEL: I don't know what you're talking about.
WHITAKER: You're hiding it. The four of you. The royalty they tried to save by sending you here. You're gonna help us.
ISABEL: Never.
WHITAKER: You did before. You will again.
ISABEL: You killed Nasedo, didn't you?
WHITAKER: To save you.
ISABEL: From what?
WHITAKER: The other 3. You belong with us, our race. We're
in charge now. Your kind doesn't rule anymore.
ISABEL: I'm not one of you.
"You don't remember, do you? Let me give you a piece of history about your planet. Your name was Vilandra, and you were beautiful...even more beautiful than you are now. You had a great love...and for him...for us...you betrayed your brother, your race. I was going to take you or the other girl knew my chances were 50/50 but when I met Maria I knew she bring you straight to me" Whitaker stated.
"No I would never betray my family... You sent me those vision didn't you" Isabel exclaimed not believing what she was hearing.
"No she did, subconsciously at least. Apart of her knows the truth and so do you. She your sister. It seems she was engineered differently but it's her. And you sacrificed her. You sacrificed brother. You sacrificed everyone...even yourself. And history, my dear, always repeats itself" Whitaker said as reached out her hand to try and touch Isabel.
"God, you liar. We're leaving. Maria, come on. Come on" Isabel says as she helps Maria up
WHITAKER: Not until you tell me where you're hiding the granilith.
ISABEL: I told you before, I don't know what you're talking about.
WHITAKER: Well, maybe this will help jog your memory.
(Whitaker raises her hand and an invisible force knocks Maria into the air. She lands with a thud)
Maria: Uhh! Unh!
ISABEL: Stop it! Stop hurting her!
WHITAKER: I'll stop when you tell me what I want to know.
(Isabel helps Maria to her and feet and then jumps with her through the window to the platform below. They start making their way to the exit and Whitaker gives chase)
ISABEL: Come on.
(Isabel and Maria make it to the outside. Whitaker also makes
it to the outside. She tears off an electrical cable. Max sees them from the gate to the power facility)
MAX: Isabel!
WHITAKER: Where's the granilith?
ISABEL: Get away from us!
WHITAKER: I'll destroy you. I'll destroy you all if I have to.
(Whitaker uses her power to start sending a stream of electrical sparks through the cable towards Isabel and Maria)
ISABEL: No. No! Get away from us!
(Isabel holds out her hand and an invisible force reflects the electricity back at Whitaker. She blows up in a hail of shedded skin)
(Max, Sheriff Valenti, Michael, and Liz rush in to help. Sheriff Valenti carries Maria to his car with Liz trailing behind him.)
MAX: What happened?
ISABEL: It was Whitaker. She killed Nasedo.
MAX: It's ok.
ISABEL: No, it's not. It's not ok.
MICHAEL: I know how I...after I used my powers on
Pierce...and Letis. So, uh, if you want to talk or something...
"I think Maria needs you more right now" Isabel says to Micheal.
"I didn't know I was capable of this" Isabel says to Max as Micheal goes to be with Maria.
MAX: You're getting stronger.
ISABEL: We all are. Nasedo said we would.
MAX: We have to protect each other. What you did for Maria, I know you would do for me, and I would do for you. No one can come between us.
ISABEL: Max, she said things.
MAX: What kind of things?
"Something about a granilith. She said Maria... She's... our sister Max.. from before" Isabel manged to utter out.
"That's not possible. I mean Maria's human, she was born"
Max said in disbelief
"Whitaker said she must have been engineered differently but it's true. Max I felt her... She was calling out to me...apart of us knows it's true" Isabel explains
"Do you wanna talk about it" Max asks he sister knowing there's something she's not telling him.
ISABEL: I think I just need to be alone.
(Isabel goes to the pod chamber by herself)
ISABEL: Happy birthday, Isabel. I'm 17 today, mother. October 25th. At least that's the day we've always celebrated as my birthday. But you're the only one really who knows the real day. I guess that's why I came to the place, the only place I've ever seen you. I hold...I hold on to that day, but you disappeared, and the picture of you was already fading, and it's all I had. I was so happy because you were beautiful and warm, and I even thought I looked like you. But it wasn't you...not really. God, I don't know what you look like. Maybe I'll never know. It isn't fair. It isn't fair. I need you. I need you. Where are you? Oh, God, it's my birthday. We should be together. How could you leave us? How could you tell us all this important information about destinies and saving the world and then just disappear? Oh, God. I...I killed a person...uh, an...an enemy, an...an alien? Does that make it ok? Oh, God. What was she talking about? What was she talking about? She said I betrayed my family. Is it true? Is it true? Am I a terrible person? Answer me. Answer me. Come on, answer me!
(Isabel grabs a nearby rock and throws it at the pods in frustration. There is a glow from one of the pod chambers. Isabel crawls into one of the pods. At the back of that chamber, a previously hidden door slides open, revealing a humming alien device. The scene fades out with Isabel gazing upon the granilith)
ISABEL: The granilith.

(The episode begins with the four aliens in the granilith chamber)
TESS: Sounds like the fluorescent lights in bio lab.
MICHAEL: Did Nasedo ever mention a rock collection?
TESS: Do you think it can hear us?
MAX: We'll come back after school.
"What about Maria? We should tell her what Whitiker said" Isabel said with a sigh.
"We don't even know if she was telling the truth" Tess said knowing it couldn't be true.
"I know what I felt and she is our sister" Isabel explained to Tess
"That may be Isabel but we can't tell her anything, not yet" Max said to his sister.
"Why not? She has a right to know why she was taken. And what if Whitiker wasn't the last, Maria could still be endanger" Isabel said trying to convince her brother.
"I know but like Tess said we don't know if it's true. we should wait till we have more information at least. And how exactly are we going to explain this to her without proof. I mean Maria was conceived and born the natural way. How do we know that Whitiker wasn't playing some kind of a mind game with you? I know you want to know and so do I but we need to wait, ok." Max explained hoping it would satisfy Isabel for now.
"Fine" was all Isabel said as she left the podchamber. The others followed shortly.
(At school, Michael and Max are walking through the halls)
MAX: After ninth period, we'll go back.
MICHAEL: Way to prioritize, Maxwell.
(Michael walks up to Maria)
"Hey" Micheal says to as he walks up to Maria.
"Hey" Maria says back and continues to walk away.
"Are you ok?" Micheal asked as he grabbed her arm.
"I'm fine. Now let me go so I get to class" Maria said trying to yank her arm free.

Maria get's closer to Micheal so no one could what she was about to say. "That's it I spent the whole summer trying to get through to you and you avoid me. I had my life threated twice. I could have died and you were there. But after the whole Letis thing I still needed you, not Max or Isabel or even Alex or Liz, I needed you. I called you and I know you were home and I needed you and you blow me off. So now I'm think that you're only willing to be there for me when I'm endanger well I need you when I'm not too. And I'm starting too wonder if I wasted three months of my life, I wondering if your worth it. And at this point I not so sure." Maria said as she walked away.
(Michael walks over to Max who's been waiting for him)
"What happened?" Max asked seeing the grave look on his friends face.
"I don't want to talk about" Micheal said trying to soak in everything Maria said.
(Liz walks up to Max)
LIZ: Oh, Max...look, I don't know what to do. Calls keep on coming into Congresswoman Whitaker's office. Should I return them or...
MICHAEL: Not now.
LIZ (to Max): We'll talk in trig.
MAX (to Michael): You know, mean people suck.
(Michael's history teacher walks up to him)
AN: I going to summarize this part. Micheal meets Hal Carver and tells him about the crash and the conspiracy to cover it up.
(Back in present-day Roswell. Hal has set up some bottles on a truck and shoots at them with his gun)
HAL: Wanna try?
MICHAEL: What did you see? What was in those sacs?
HAL: I never planned on telling this much of the story, kid. I never have.
MICHAEL: Please.
HAL: They looked like human fetuses. There was 4 to a sac. 8 total. One sac had a glow about them, the other didn't. I think those ones might have been dead. That night, I packed my things and never came back. The base was on full alert. There was no way anybody or anything else could have escaped...and that's the story of Hal Carver. The only time I ever stuck my neck out to save anything...and it all went to hell.
(Michael reaches out his hand and blows up the bottles from a distance)
MICHAEL: You saved me.
(He then turns to Hal who is having trouble lighting his cigarette. Michael creates a flame on his thumb. Hal and Michael hug)
(At school, Liz is getting stuff out of her locker. Michael stops by)
MICHAEL: Have you seen Max?
LIZ: Oh, Michael. Um, no. He said something about stopping by the Crashdown later.
MICHAEL: You ok?
LIZ: Me? Yeah. Sure. Why?
MICHAEL: Well, the whole Congresswoman Whitaker thing. We'll work it out.
LIZ: Yeah, I know.
MICHAEL: And, uh, and this morning...yeah...I'm sorry.
LIZ: Thank you. Did Max ask you to do that?
MICHAEL: What?
LIZ: The whole being nice thing.
MICHAEL: No. I came up with it myself.
(Michael starts to walk away)
LIZ: I like it.
(Michael has brought Maria to the granilith chamber)
MICHAEL: Meet the reason I haven't been returning your phone calls.
MARIA: My God. What is it?
MICHAEL: I don't know...but eventually I'm hoping we can find out.
MARIA: "We?" You didn't even choke on that.
MICHAEL: Well, today I had a little history lesson, and here's the thing...I owe more to you than
I can imagine. To Liz, Alex, Valenti, to some old guy named Hal who lives in Tampa and plays shuffleboard. I never realized it...so here it is.
(Michael holds out both hands to Maria)
MICHAEL: Thank you.
(Maria places her hands in Michael's)
MARIA: You're welcome. What's wrong?
MICHAEL: You know those pods that housed Max, Isabel, Tess, and me?
MARIA: Yeah, before you were born?
"Well, there was another set of them" Micheal told her.
"What do you mean was?" Maria asked a little confused.
"That guy Hal was there during the crash and he actual saw the pods. He said that one had this glow about them and the other didn't like the fetuses inside were died. And what I'm about to tell may not seem possible but I can't think of any other explanation." Micheal said worried at how he was going to explain this to her.
"Micheal what are you talking about?" Maria asked.
"Well when Whitiker took you Isabel had flashes of you. Whitiker told her it was because some part of you called out to her because you're Max and Isabel's sister" Micheal explained.
"No, that's not possible. I mean I not an alien. My mother can give in great detail the process of my birth. There is nothing alien about me" Maria said as she begun to freak out.
"I know this sounds weird but we should really talk to the others" Micheal said as he did his best to calm her down.
(Micheal and Maria leave the podchamber and went to his apartment. On the way Maria calls the others to meet them there)
At Micheal's Apartment Micheal tells the others what Hal told him.
"So what your say is that there suposse to be eight of us. Did Nasedo ever mention this to you?" Isabel asked looking at Tess.
"No, he always told me that we were the only four" Tess explained.
"So, what does this exactly mean? I mean I still do get how Maria could be an Alien" Alex asked very confused.
"I don't think Maria's the only one.....Think about it. Why out all the people we could have told we Maria, Alex and Liz... and now Kyle. What if when the other fetuses died the protectors did something to keep there "essences" alive" Isabel theorized.
"No, I'm not a freakin' Alien. I'd think I'd know" Kyle exclaimed why he had let Tess talk him in to coming here.
"Look would you just think about it for a second. Something compelled Max to save Liz that day at the Crashdown maybe some part of us knows the truth" Isabel explained.
"What about the message from your mother?" Maria asked wondering if this woman was her mother too.
"It could have been a fake. If what Isabel is saying is true then the protectors had no way of knowing if their plan would work. The ship was gone along with any kind of technology. It could been a plan C for just in case" Max said hoping it was true.
"Even so any kind of genetic alteration would have to be done in the womb and how would the get access to our mothers?" Liz wondered hoping Max was right.
"Nasedo was a shapeshfter the other was probably too. They could have been posing as doctors. and there were all kinds of prenatal care going on in the 80's" Max explained.
"Well the only way we're to find out if our mother's went through unusual pregnancies is if we ask. Maybe we could tell them we 're doing a report for school on prenatal care in the 80's" Liz suggested.
Liz, Alex, and Maria agreed to talk heir mothers and see what they could find out. Kyle would get what he could from his dad.
-Maria's house-
"Hey mom" Maria greeted her mother who was int the kitchen making dinner.
"Hi sweety, how was your day?" Amy asked her daughter.
"Oh, it was fine but I have this project I need your help on. You see I have to this report on prenatal care in the 80's and I was thinking of doing on your actual experiences" Maria told her mother.
"Ok, what do you want to know?" Amy asked sitting down next to Maria at the kitchen table.

"Ok, what do you want to know?" Amy asked sitting down next to Maria at the kitchen table.
"Well why don't we start with the kinds of proceeds you went through" Maria stated as she took a pen and paper.
"Um... well I went through the usual, you know month check-ups, prenatal vitamins" Amy explained to her.
"Right, so there were no complications or anything" Maria further inquired.
"You mean I never told about that?" Amy asked her daughter.
"Told me about what?" Maria asked her mother a little confused.
"Well when I found out I was pregnant your father and I also found out that he was a carrier for these disease. It was dormant in him but he passed it on to you. There was nothing the doctors could do, they said you probably wouldn't live to see your first birthday" Amy said sadly as she recalled the memory.
"So what happened, I mean obviously I lived but how?" Maria asked knowing that what the others told her is true.
"Since your father worked for the army..." Amy was interrupted by her daughter.
"WHAT!!!....you and dad were hippies since when did he work for the army?" Maria asked in shock.
"When I got pregnant your father realized that he was going to have to be more responsible and get a job. And when joined the army it was just a desk job and he said it was his way of sticking it to the "MAN". Any way some one he worked with told him that the army was funding research for genetic manipulation. I know it sounds bad but it wasn't, they basically repaired or removed any bad genes in the baby" Amy explained.
"So if this procedure is so great why aren't there more healthy kids in the world?" Maria asked.
"Because it only worked for four women out of hundreds and that wasn't significant enough to expose to the public. There were no adverse side-effects that I know of and most of the women were either trying to get pregnant or make sure there babies were born health. I don't know if any babies died" Amy told Maria.
"One last question mom, who were the other three women?"
"Nancey Parker, Michelle Valenti, and Christina Whitman" Amy said.
"Are you sure?" Maria said wanting to be sure.
"Yes I remember because your father recommend it to them and remember seeing them at the hospital and we would talk" Amy explained.
"Sorry mom one more question, were was the hospital?" Maria asked.
"Um... it was in Albuquerque, can't remember exactly where but I still have a lot of the stuff from when I was pregnant and I'll find it for you" Amy told her daughter.
"Alright thanks mom. I'm gonna go wash up for dinner" Maria said as she got from the table.

-Maria's thoughts-
The whole day was a blur for Maria she couldn't stop thinking about what her mom had told her. She had run in to Alex and Liz before fifth period and apparently Max suggested they meet after school to see what they found out. They really didn't have time to talk because the bell rang. Now she was sitting in ninth period watching the clock. All day she was wondering if it was true that she Maria Deluca was some Alien princess. Princess Maria that has a nice ring to it. Finally the bell rang and she was on her way to the UFO center with Alex and Liz.
-The UFO-
When Kyle and Tess showed up Max started the meeting. "So what did you guys find out" Max asked right away.
"Apparently are mothers was apart of this study on genetics when they were pregnant with us and it was funded by the army" Liz explained to the group.
"How did they find out about it" Isabel asked.
"My father" Maria stated and everyone looked at her with confused expressions so she went on.
"My mother told me last night that my father was apart of the army and that he had some kind of disease that was dormant in him but he passed on to me. The doctors told them I wouldn't lived to see my first birthday. Some he worked with told him about the study and he recommended it to your parents. Also out of the hundreds pregnancies that the study involved only four got the end result they wanted. Us" Maria explained to group.
"So it was the government that altered your DNA?" Tess asked.
"That what it looked like but how would the know how, I mean there's no way there that advance in genetic manipulation" Liz said still in shock.
"They hide the fact that aliens landed on earth what makes you think they wouldn't keep something like that to themselves" Micheal stated.
"Because what we're think is that they took alien DNA and mixed with are DNA and then masked the alteration some how. I mean they didn't do on there own I mean maybe your proctors didn't have the opportunity that the government had so they work through them. We don't know why they choose to approach Maria's father but maybe because either her father or mother's mother was the original donor and that could go the some for Alex, Kyle and I as well" Liz said hoping they understood what she was saying.
"It possible but we still don't know for sure" Max said.
"Well my mother gave the name address of the hospital but it's in Albuquerque" Maria told them as took the info her mother gave her from her bag an handed it to Max.
"So I guess we're going camping?" Alex asked.
"Yeah we need to check this place out and maybe one of could get a flashes. Alex you should do a internet search on this place and we go this weekend" Isabel said.
(Everyone agreed and went home. Max took Liz home and Alex and Isabel had a date.)
"You need a ride?" Maria asked Micheal.
"Yeah...thanks" Micheal said walking to her car.
They both got and didn't say anything for awhile until Micheal spoke.
"So are you ok?" Micheal asked considering the hell she's been going through.
"Yeah I'm fine, why wouldn't I be?" Maria answered.
"I don't know let's see you just found out that you could be the result of a government experiment and that some how your father could be involved. I think that would be a little upsetting" Micheal told her.
"Look considering everything it seems pretty insignificant anyway. So what about us, I mean are we back together or what?" Maria asked.
"I thought you weren't sure if I was worth it" Micheal said as the pulled up to his building
"Fine, we're not. Goodbye" Maria said as she waited for him to get out of the car.
Micheal was about to get out of the car but then he stopped and sighed as he said, "Why don't you come up and we can talk."
"Ok" was all Maria said as she got out the car.
AN: In the story there is no future Max. Everything in End Of The World happened except Max and Liz got back together
(no sex, they went to the concert), Tess and Kyle explored the possibility of a relationship but they were interrupted by his dad. Their first kiss is important to the story.

-Micheal's Apartment-
"So...do you want something to drink?" Micheal asked as he nosed through his refrigerator.
"Water fine, thank you" Maria said as she sat on the couch.
Micheal got her a glass of water and went to sit next to her on the couch. There was silence for at least two minutes until Maria spoke.
"Look, the only reason I said what I said is because I was angry. I didn't mean it, like all that crap you said all summer about use not being together" Maria in a huff.
"I said we couldn't be together because I was trying to protect you. Remember the evil aliens wanting to kill me" Micheal said with a sigh.
"Well that theory has been proven wrong on several occasions. I'll apologize for what I said if you apologize first AND admit that you where wrong" Maria said with her arms crossed waiting.
"WHAT? No I 'm not apologizing for trying to keep you safe thats ridiculous. AND I wasn't wrong" Micheal said through gritted teeth.
"FINE! I should have known this would have been a waste of time" Maria said as walked torwards the door.
Micheal stood there as she stormed out the door. He plopped down on the couch thinking if he should go after her or not. 'He didn't think he was wrong so why should he say it. He did hurt her though' Micheal thought. After another minute he got up and run after Maria. She was about to get in her car when he caught up to her.
"I SORRY ALRIGHT, I WAS WRONG OK. HAPPY NOW" Micheal yelled before she could get in.
Maria didn't say anything as she jumped into Micheal's arms. They kissed deeply and maria murmured 'I'm sorry too' against Micheal's lips. After awhile they decided to go back up to Micheal's apartment because they were drawing a crowd.
(AN: the next part a few days have past and the gang are planning their trip to the hospital in Albuquerque)
-The Crashdown: after hours-
"So everything setup for tomorrow. Everyone should have talk to there parents and told them were going camping for the weekend. We'll be taking the jeep and maria's car so pack lite, only enough clothes for the weekend. The hospital abounded so we shouldn't have any trouble" Max explained to everyone.
"We know the plan Max so just chill out. Alex did you find out anything about this place?" Micheal said impatiently.
"No, there was nothing on this place that I could find" Alex said.
"We should all get some sleep considering we have a long day tomorrow" Liz suggested.
Kyle and Tess left, Maria gave Micheal a ride home, Isabel took Alex home and then came for Max.
-The Next Day-
-On the road-
In the jetta is Maria, Micheal, Kyle, and Tess. Micheal's driving and he and Maria are fighting over the radio In the jeep is Max, Liz, Isabel, and Alex.

It was a five hour drive to Albuquerque, they left Saturday morning. They weren’t even half way there and Micheal and Maria were bickering over every little thing. When they got there the hospital was practical in the middle of nowhere. Maria, Liz, Kyle, and Alex were getting strange feelings as the got closer to the hospital.
“You know that feeling you get when know everything is gonna go wrong?” Maria asked as they got out of the car. Liz, Alex, and Kyle nodded silently.
“Well that’s the kinda feeling I’m getting right now” Maria added.
“Are you four o.k.?” asked Max.
“It’s this place Max, there’s something about it that’s just...eerie” Liz stated.
“Well we didn’t come this far not to go in” Isabel said and started to move toward the door, the others followed.
Isabel unlocked the door and they split into pairs to look around. They place had been picked clean but Micheal, Max, Isabel, and Tess were still trying to get flashes.
“Maria are you sure your o.k.?” Micheal asked looking into her more and more paler face.
“Um... you know what no...I... need to get out here...now” Maria was making her way for the door, when she got there Alex, Kyle, and Liz were heading for it to with three very confused aliens behind them.
“Alright someone better tell me what the HELL is going on right NOW!!” Micheal yelled.
“It was like we couldn’t breathe in there” Liz said while holding on to Max.
“What happened? Did you remember something?” Tess asked.
“No, it...it just that felt wrong being in there... like you know something happened but you just can’t remember” Kyle tried to explain. “You know when you get sick and it has nothing to do with food but somehow a certain food always makes you sick, that kinda a feeling.” The others nodded in agreement.
“Why don’t you guys wait out here and well finish looking around” Max said.
Max, Micheal, Isabel, and Tess went back in and come out twenty minutes later with nothing.
The ride home was unusually quiet, which only made Micheal worry more. Neither Kyle nor Maria complained when Micheal blasted his Metallica music and Tess was to worried to care.
(AN2: There is no future Max. Everything in End of the world happened except the whole Liz and Kyle in bed together, and Liz didn’t stop Kyle and Tess from kissing his dad did. Liz and Max go to the concert but they don’t have sex. The Micheal and Courtney thing still happens.)
Part 7: Harvest And Wipeout

(AN3: This is what happened between Tess and Liz in the jeep @ copper summit. Everything in the episode is the some except for these two scenes)
(Max and Isabel leave. Tess and Liz talk in the jeep)
“Um... Liz can we talk? Look I know I’m the last person you wanna be stuck in car but I was hoping we could at least try and be friends. I know in the past I’ve done things to hurt and that’s not what I wanted. My whole I was taught that Max and I where suppose to be together and I know that’s no excuse for the way I acted and what I did. I was just hoping you forgive me and put the past behind and try be friends. I really am sorry for the pain I caused you and Max” Tess said wholeheartedly.
“Thank you for saying that. You did hurt me Tess... But that was then and this is now...Hi I’m Liz Parker?” Liz said and then extending her hand.
“Tess Harding” Tess said taking Liz’s hand.
“So you and Kyle” Liz inquired.
Tess just blushed.
Next scene
(At the Universal Friendship League, Max is weakening under the strain of the skins' power against his energy shield)
TESS: I can help. Let my strength flow into yours.
(Max's shield starts to collapse)
“Liz you can help us” Tess exclaimed.
“Wh... What can I do?” Liz said terrified.
“Your like us Liz all you have to do is concentrate” Tess explained as she became more and more drained.
Liz goes over to Max and Tess and puts her hand over Tess’.
“A little guidance would help” Liz exclaimed.
“Close your eyes and clear your mind. Focus all your energy on Max” Tess explained.
Liz did as Tess said and the shield strengthened. After few minutes though it failed but the skins started to collapse in pain.

(Max, Isabel, Micheal, and Courtney are at the crashdown searching for people)
MAX: No one's back there, either.
ISABEL: Everyone's gone.
MICHAEL: Every human. Whoever's doing this is trying to single us out.
(Alex step’s out of the bathroom shocked. Isabel runs into his arms)
COURTNEY: Well, there goes that theory.
“Ahh... guys what’s going on, where is everyone cause I know I was in there in there that long” Alex asks.
(Liz and Maria arrive at the Crashdown)
MARIA: Michael!
LIZ: Max, what...what happened? We...we just got back from Dexter.
MAX: Our parents disappeared. It seems like the whole town is gone. All the humans, at least.
LIZ: Well, why not us?
ISABEL: I'm sorry.
“What is going on here? Everyone's gone? They're gone, like dead?” Liz sobbed in Max arms.
MAX: We don't know that.
MAX: All we can do right now is focus on the fact that we have each other.
ISABEL: First thing we need to do is figure out who did this.
LIZ: We know who did this. The skins.
MARIA: Yeah. We found one of those snake skin things off of Elm street.
COURTNEY: Nicholas.
ISABEL: This is our fault.
(Tess walks in from the backroom)
TESS: No. It's her's. You led the skins straight to Roswell, Courtney!
MICHAEL: She's with us, Tess.
TESS: What did your people do to the town?
COURTNEY: They're not my people.
“But you used to be. You’re telling us that you don’t know a damned thing about what the hell is going on here” Maria asked
MAX: Stop pointing fingers. We're the ones who destroyed their harvest. They're here to settle the score with all of us.
“Where’s Kyle because if you three are still here then he’s probably is to” Micheal stated.
“He went fishing with his dad, sort of father/so outing” Tess told them.
(Isabel has been looking out the window. He sees people approaching)
ISABEL: Into the bathroom. They're coming. Now.
(Nicholas and Ida enter)
ISABEL: There's two of them...Nicholas and Ida. Hide us.
NICHOLAS: Check in the back.
(Nicholas walks to where the bathroom door was)
MARIA: Oh, please don't let me die like elvis.
(Nicholas walks over to the wall and taps on the mirror that Tess has created in his mind
to replace the bathroom door)
NICHOLAS: Mom?!
IDA: Don't pick. There's nobody back there or upstairs, sir.
NICHOLAS: Look in the mirror. You're shedding.
IDA: Ohh...it's the heat. Why couldn't those brats be from Seattle?
NICHOLAS: Let's get you back to the moisture chamber. This haphazard searching is going nowhere.
IDA: What's plan "B"?
NICHOLAS: We'll search the town...street by street, building by building, inch by inch. I'm not stopping til we find them.
(Nicholas and Ida leave. Everyone comes out of the bathroom. Tess weakly stumbles to the counter)
TESS: I've never come up against power like that before. It feels like...someone took a sledgehammer to my head.
(Liz leaves through the door to the kitchen. Max notices her and follows)
MAX: I'll be right back.
(Max finds Liz in her room)
LIZ: My mom always listened to Elvis Costello on laundry day. I am so scared.
MAX: What happened to your family...to all the humans...it's our fault. But we haven't lost them yet. We have to stay strong.
“Yeah” Liz says as Max Wraps his arms around her
MAX: We should get back down.
ISABEL: Max!
(Max and Liz rush downstairs. Courtney is on the floor. Her skin is very wrinkled. Everyone helps Courtney to the bathroom. Isabel shuts the door on the guys. Liz and Tess help Courtney into the tub. Maria puts an assortment of vitamins in the bath for the husk to feed on)
(Outside, Michael and Max are scouting with Liz's telescope)
MAX: Main street looks clear. I just wish I knew where they were hiding.
MICHAEL: You think she'll be ok?
MAX: I don't know. You and Courtney have gotten close.
MICHAEL: Yeah.
MAX: How's Maria feel about that?
MICHAEL: Why do you care? You've never been interested in my social circles before.
“Maria my sister and friend and I don’t want to se her hurt. And you were never sleeping with the enemy before” Max said in a warning tone.
"And I'm not now. There nothing going on between me and Courtney, I love Maria and she knows that. So you stop playing big brother. OK” Micheal explained.
MAX: Then why was she at your apartment this morning?
MICHAEL: 'Cause she wanted to show me how the husk fit. That's it.
MAX: Good.
“Let me take a look” Micheal said know Max wasn’t going to let up about him and Courtney.
(Back in Liz's bathroom, Courtney seems to have recovered from the nutrient bath)
TESS: Pretty quick recovery, don't you think? This "I've fallen and can't get up" routine seems a little too convenient. I think it's time for a Q&A. What exactly did the skins do?
COURTNEY: I don't know.
(Tess pulls the drain plug and the nutrient bath starts to go down the drain)
COURTNEY: No.
ISABEL: What happened to our families?
COURTNEY: Time exists in multiple subset dimensions on our planet. Nicholas must have a technology to impose one or more of these here.
ISABEL: Speak English.
COURTNEY: It's like being on Pacific and Eastern and Central and Mountain time all at once. Human bodies can't function. They simply disappear.
LIZ: To where? Where are our parents, our friends. Where is everyone? Are they dead? Wha...
MARIA: Water's getting low.
COURTNEY: Somewhere! Another dimension, another plane of existence! I don't know
where! They seem to have just...shifted.
MARIA: Well, can we get 'em back?
COURTNEY: I don't know. Please.
(Tess replaces the drain plug)
ISABEL: Why haven't Alex, Liz and Maria disappeared?
“I don't...I don't know. Probably because their not completely human. Please” Courtney explained
(Maria and Liz go downstairs a skin sees them and goes after them. The Sheriff saves them.)
MAX: If guns don't work, how do we kill them?
COURTNEY: Take the heaviest thing that you can find...and smash this as hard as you can. It breaks the seal in the husk...permanently.
ISABEL: What about Nicholas? What can he do?
COURTNEY: All the things you can...times a thousand. But the thing you should be the most afraid of...is this.
(Courtney points to her head)
COURTNEY: He can get inside of your head and take anything that he wants. Basically, he rapes you of your memories and your thoughts.
“I have some questions that I want answered” Maria says as she sits opposite Courtney.
“What” was all Courtney said.
“Before you rebelled against Kivar you were in his army right?” Maria asked.
Courtney nodded
“So what made you join him in the first place? I mean he musta offered you something, what was it?” Maria questioned.
“When our people come to Antar we were looked down upon by yours. Kivar promised us quality if we joined him” Courtney explains.
“Wait, wait your telling us your not even from Antar” Maria said an air of shock.
“I was born on Antar but my family originated on another planet. When our planet was on the brink of destruction your great-great grandfather gave us sanctuary when no one else would” Courtney clarifies as she looks from Maria to Max and Isabel.
“So what you repay his kindness and generosity by kill off his family. Let me guess Kivar never came good on his promises that’s why rebelled against him” Maria assumes
“You wouldn’t understand, YOU! Were nothing more then a pampered, spoiled little princess who never had deal with hardship or WORRY IF YOU’LL BE ABLE TO EAT TODAY. We were practically slaves” Courtney shouts.
“Maybe I don’t or wouldn’t understand what you went through but you have no right to blame Max and say he was bad king because you got a raw deal. His... Our great-great grandfather took your people in; you wouldn’t exist if it wasn’t for him. How many innocence did you kill before you realize it was WRONG! You’re so eager to blame everyone else for why the war started except the people who are really responsible. Look in the mirror Courtney you’re just as much to blame as Kivar and everyone else who was too scared or too stupid to see that Kivar was after one Thing! Power!” Maria said with an unknown fury that she almost forgot why she was questioning her.
“What the Galivis stone and what’s it got to do with me?” Maria asked
Courtney took a deep breath and tried to explain. “The Galivis is the most powerful energy source in the universe as far as we know. It was built by our ancestors. No one really no how it works. There’s only one person who can wield it’s power, the Keeper, all others are incinerated if they try to pick it up. The Keeper is usually a member of the Anterian royal family. The only known way to destroy the stone is to kill the keeper when it’s inside him or her. It was inside you when you had died but when the stone inside you it exist in an essence form so when you were engineered the Stone must have reformed.”
“Ok, beside it being really powerful what does Kivar wait with it. I mean he can’t use” Kyle asked.
“The stone increases the keeper’s natural abilities by 100 times And it’s the key to a very powerful weapon. The weapon is programmed to only kill those with the DNA that was programmed into it, leaving every building, animal and plant completely unharmed. The weapon was lost centuries ago and the stone the only way to find it, it acts like a tracking device” Courtney clarified.
“If there are no more questions we've gotta get everybody to a safer location” The Sheriff stated
MAX: The UFO center. It's a former bomb shelter. There are no windows and fewer ways in and out. After we get everyone situated, you, me, Michael, Isabel, and Tess will start picking them off one by one.
“What about us” Kyle inquired about him and Alex.
“I need you two to stay with Maria and Liz” Max explains.
(The go to the UFO center in groups. Isabel runs to try and deal with Nicolas on her own.)
(Maria paces around. She walks by an exhibit with a mannequin in a window. She turns around and walks back and notices the mannequin is missing now. A skin steps out and blasts Maria with an energy blast)
MARIA: Tess!
(Tess sneaks behind the skin and kicks its seal self-destruct button but two come out of no where. One goes after Tess and the other after Maria. Maria is knock unconscious by the skin and taken while Tess fights off the other one.)
“They found a way in and they got Maria. We've gotta go” Tess exclaimed.
"WHAT?" Micheal screamed
MAX: All right. We'll head for the school. It's our turf. Get your dad.
KYLE: I can't. He disappeared right in front of me.
(Kyle sees a UFO Center postcard and recognizes the sign in it. It's the one he and his dad saw earlier that was defaced)
KYLE: That time field is coming from the billboard out by Chaparral Turnout. My dad spotted a green rod stuck through it this morning. We thought it was a prank. I'm heading out there.
MAX: No. We stick together.
KYLE: Hey, I've been really nice about following your orders, Senor Presidente, but if I can do something to help bring some people back or ensure that Liz, Alex, and I live to see another day, I'm gonna do it.
MAX: Kyle. Look...take Bradford Alley all the way out of town. It's a straight shot. You can't get boxed in.
KYLE: Thanks.
MAX: Good luck...to all of you.
KYLE: I'll take care of her.
Max nodded to Kyle then turned to Liz. “Be careful, I'll get Maria back don’t worry.” He hug close and whispered ‘I love you’ in her ear. Liz turns and walks up the stairs but takes one more glimpse of Max before she leaves.
MAX: Ok. It's the four of us on foot. If we stick to the side streets, we can...
TESS: What's wrong?
MAX: Where's Courtney?
(Inside the skins' bus, Isabel is handcuffed to the railing)
ISABEL: Uh...
NICHOLAS: I knew it was only a matter of time before you rejoined our side, Vilandra.
IDA: Tryin' to ambush my baby. I should pull out your filthy eyes and grind 'em into dust.
ISABEL: I came to make a deal.
NICHOLAS: And what could you possibly have to offer us?
ISABEL: Me.
NICHOLAS: You always were a flighty little princess. Jewels before studies. That's our Vilandra. We have you, you beautiful moron
ISABEL: I think you're the one who doesn't understand.
NICHOLAS: Leave us.
IDA: You can't possibly think that this woman...
NICHOLAS: Do you really want to finish that sentence? Leave. Now.
IDA: All right.
(Ida leaves)
NICHOLAS: Go ahead.
ISABEL: The last time we were together, you awakened something in me. I remembered things from our past. You and me.
NICHOLAS: Our forbidden meetings.
ISABEL: I came here for you. I know what's hiding behind that husk.
Nicholas motions with his hand and the handcuffs disappear. Isabel acts like she's going to kiss Nicholas, but at the last instant, she pushes him to the ground. She reaches for his fanny pack when Ida comes in and knocks Isabel out
ISABEL: Uhh!
NICHOLAS: Mom, what are you doing?!
IDA: Saving you, sir!
NICHOLAS: She was no threat! Damn it, now she's no good at all! I'm sick of this!
IDA: What do you want to do now?
NICHOLAS: Kill every last one of 'em.
“Well I think I’ve got something that’ll cheer you up” Ida says as a skin brings in a unconscious Maria and lies her next to Isabel.
“Both Vilandra and Vilara(Va-lar-ria), Kivar will be very please and maybe we can get off this vile planet” Nicholas said looking down at the two sleeping princess.
(Liz, Alex, and Kyle are on their way to the billboard. When the get there their attacked by skins. Alex and Kyle hold them off while Liz tries to short circuit it using Maria jumper cables)
MAX: You sure you don't know where Courtney went?
MICHAEL: Your guess is as good as mine.
TESS: I've got one. She and Nicholas are probably laughing at how gullible we are.
“Isabel. Maria” Max bellows as he runs to his sisters’ side.
NICHOLAS: Ahem!
Max, Michael, and Tess look around. They're surrounded by skins
Back at the billboard, Liz grabs some jumper cables and starts to set them up
Max, Isabel, Tess, Maria and Michael are tied up to pillars. Nicholas walks up to Max
NICHOLAS: What happened to you, guy? You used to determine the fate of entire armies with the flip of a coin. Luckily for me, you continue to put your faith in the wrong people. Does this scene feel familiar, Vilandra? And your trusted second...the boy who spilled the secret of the granilith to one of our exiled members. Rule number one of war: keep your big mouth shut. Courtney knew that. That's why she killed herself before I could get its exact location. By the way, love the hair. Hope you win. And little Vilara possible the most powerful of the five of you and she’s nothing more then a weak human. There's one more thing I need to know before we can all call it a day. Where's the granilith?
MAX: I'm not telling you.
NICHOLAS: Oh...you will.
Nicholas motions with his hand and Michael, Maria, Isabel, and Tess start screaming in pain
MAX: Wait! I'll take you there! Just you and me. This has nothing to do with them.
ISABEL: Max, don't.
NICHOLAS: This is too easy. In the old days, I would've been no match for you. But...now...
Nicholas grabs Max's head and starts draining his memory. ‘NO!’ Screamed in his head.
MAX: Nyggggg...unhh! Ohhh...uhh!
NICHOLAS: Either way, you're going to die, Max. So why don't you just make this easy on yourself?
MAX: Uhhh! Uhhh! Uhhh!
Max focuses and repels Nicholas' mind drain. ‘ I can’t...I wont let him have the granilith’ Max thought.
Back at the billboard Liz is having trouble getting the jumper cables on the rod thing and Alex and Kyle are still busy with the skins
(Back at school)
NICHOLAS: Ready to tell me now?
-billboard-
Liz hooks the cable clamps to each other and places it on top of the green pulsating tube. Alex and Kyle finish of the skins
“Liz get down, NOW!” Kyle yells to her.
Kyle and Alex Help Liz down and run to Maria’s car for cover.
The cables destroy the tube and Roswell glows green again as the effects of the tube are reversed
-School-
Maria screams shrilly and then gathers unknown power. ‘I can’t let him hurt Zan, NO! Not again’ a voice screams in her head. A raging fire starts to build behind her and she releases it into the group of skins, vaporizing them. Maria is drained and stumbles but Micheal catches her.
“What...what just happened?” Maria asked confused.
MAX: You saved us.
“Ohhh...” Is all Maria can say in disbelief.
“Vilandra?” Max says as he turned to his sister, ‘what she keeping from me?’ Max thinks to him self.
-Later that day-
Max and Maria are walking through a park, discussing what happened
“I don’t know what happened Max something inside me was just angry. And I couldn't let him hurt you” Maria tries to explain.
“You saved us Maria, It was probably the stone. Do you think you could do it again?” Max wondered.
“Maybe but I don’t think I would want to. It was scary Max” Maria shuddered at what she was capable of.
Suddenly, a little boy who looks a lot like Nicholas bumps into Maria while riding a scooter. The episode ends with Max and Maria staring after the boy as he rides away

-Micheal's Apartment-
"So...do you want something to drink?" Micheal asked as he nosed through his refrigerator.
"Water fine, thank you" Maria said as she sat on the couch.
Micheal got her a glass of water and went to sit next to her on the couch. There was silence for at least two minutes until Maria spoke.
"Look, the only reason I said what I said is because I was angry. I didn't mean it, like all that crap you said all summer about use not being together" Maria in a huff.
"I said we couldn't be together because I was trying to protect you. Remember the evil aliens wanting to kill me" Micheal said with a sigh.
"Well that theory has been proven wrong on several occasions. I'll apologize for what I said if you apologize first AND admit that you where wrong" Maria said with her arms crossed waiting.
"WHAT? No I 'm not apologizing for trying to keep you safe thats ridiculous. AND I wasn't wrong" Micheal said through gritted teeth.
"FINE! I should have known this would have been a waste of time" Maria said as walked torwards the door.
Micheal stood there as she stormed out the door. He plopped down on the couch thinking if he should go after her or not. 'He didn't think he was wrong so why should he say it. He did hurt her though' Micheal thought. After another minute he got up and run after Maria. She was about to get in her car when he caught up to her.
"I SORRY ALRIGHT, I WAS WRONG OK. HAPPY NOW" Micheal yelled before she could get in.
Maria didn't say anything as she jumped into Micheal's arms. They kissed deeply and maria murmured 'I'm sorry too' against Micheal's lips. After awhile they decided to go back up to Micheal's apartment because they were drawing a crowd.
(AN: the next part a few days have past and the gang are planning their trip to the hospital in Albuquerque)
-The Crashdown: after hours-
"So everything setup for tomorrow. Everyone should have talk to there parents and told them were going camping for the weekend. We'll be taking the jeep and maria's car so pack lite, only enough clothes for the weekend. The hospital abounded so we shouldn't have any trouble" Max explained to everyone.
"We know the plan Max so just chill out. Alex did you find out anything about this place?" Micheal said impatiently.
"No, there was nothing on this place that I could find" Alex said.
"We should all get some sleep considering we have a long day tomorrow" Liz suggested.
Kyle and Tess left, Maria gave Micheal a ride home, Isabel took Alex home and then came for Max.
-The Next Day-
-On the road-
In the jetta is Maria, Micheal, Kyle, and Tess. Micheal's driving and he and Maria are fighting over the radio In the jeep is Max, Liz, Isabel, and Alex.

It was a five hour drive to Albuquerque, they left Saturday morning. They weren’t even half way there and Micheal and Maria were bickering over every little thing. When they got there the hospital was practical in the middle of nowhere. Maria, Liz, Kyle, and Alex were getting strange feelings as the got closer to the hospital.
“You know that feeling you get when know everything is gonna go wrong?” Maria asked as they got out of the car. Liz, Alex, and Kyle nodded silently.
“Well that’s the kinda feeling I’m getting right now” Maria added.
“Are you four o.k.?” asked Max.
“It’s this place Max, there’s something about it that’s just...eerie” Liz stated.
“Well we didn’t come this far not to go in” Isabel said and started to move toward the door, the others followed.
Isabel unlocked the door and they split into pairs to look around. They place had been picked clean but Micheal, Max, Isabel, and Tess were still trying to get flashes.
“Maria are you sure your o.k.?” Micheal asked looking into her more and more paler face.
“Um... you know what no...I... need to get out here...now” Maria was making her way for the door, when she got there Alex, Kyle, and Liz were heading for it to with three very confused aliens behind them.
“Alright someone better tell me what the HELL is going on right NOW!!” Micheal yelled.
“It was like we couldn’t breathe in there” Liz said while holding on to Max.
“What happened? Did you remember something?” Tess asked.
“No, it...it just that felt wrong being in there... like you know something happened but you just can’t remember” Kyle tried to explain. “You know when you get sick and it has nothing to do with food but somehow a certain food always makes you sick, that kinda a feeling.” The others nodded in agreement.
“Why don’t you guys wait out here and well finish looking around” Max said.
Max, Micheal, Isabel, and Tess went back in and come out twenty minutes later with nothing.
The ride home was unusually quiet, which only made Micheal worry more. Neither Kyle nor Maria complained when Micheal blasted his Metallica music and Tess was to worried to care.
(AN2: There is no future Max. Everything in End of the world happened except the whole Liz and Kyle in bed together, and Liz didn’t stop Kyle and Tess from kissing his dad did. Liz and Max go to the concert but they don’t have sex. The Micheal and Courtney thing still happens.)
Part 7: Harvest And Wipeout

(Max and Isabel leave. Tess and Liz talk in the jeep)
“Um... Liz can we talk? Look I know I’m the last person you wanna be stuck in car but I was hoping we could at least try and be friends. I know in the past I’ve done things to hurt and that’s not what I wanted. My whole I was taught that Max and I where suppose to be together and I know that’s no excuse for the way I acted and what I did. I was just hoping you forgive me and put the past behind and try be friends. I really am sorry for the pain I caused you and Max” Tess said wholeheartedly.
“Thank you for saying that. You did hurt me Tess... But that was then and this is now...Hi I’m Liz Parker?” Liz said and then extending her hand.
“Tess Harding” Tess said taking Liz’s hand.
“So you and Kyle” Liz inquired.
Tess just blushed.
Next scene
(At the Universal Friendship League, Max is weakening under the strain of the skins' power against his energy shield)
TESS: I can help. Let my strength flow into yours.
(Max's shield starts to collapse)
“Liz you can help us” Tess exclaimed.
“Wh... What can I do?” Liz said terrified.
“Your like us Liz all you have to do is concentrate” Tess explained as she became more and more drained.
Liz goes over to Max and Tess and puts her hand over Tess’.
“A little guidance would help” Liz exclaimed.
“Close your eyes and clear your mind. Focus all your energy on Max” Tess explained.
Liz did as Tess said and the shield strengthened. After few minutes though it failed but the skins started to collapse in pain.

MAX: No one's back there, either.
ISABEL: Everyone's gone.
MICHAEL: Every human. Whoever's doing this is trying to single us out.
(Alex step’s out of the bathroom shocked. Isabel runs into his arms)
COURTNEY: Well, there goes that theory.
“Ahh... guys what’s going on, where is everyone cause I know I was in there in there that long” Alex asks.
(Liz and Maria arrive at the Crashdown)
MARIA: Michael!
LIZ: Max, what...what happened? We...we just got back from Dexter.
MAX: Our parents disappeared. It seems like the whole town is gone. All the humans, at least.
LIZ: Well, why not us?

“What is going on here? Everyone's gone? They're gone, like dead?” Liz sobbed in Max arms.
MAX: We don't know that.

MAX: Then why was she at your apartment this morning?
MICHAEL: 'Cause she wanted to show me how the husk fit. That's it.
MAX: Good.
“Let me take a look” Micheal said know Max wasn’t going to let up about him and Courtney.
(Back in Liz's bathroom, Courtney seems to have recovered from the nutrient bath)
TESS: Pretty quick recovery, don't you think? This "I've fallen and can't get up" routine seems a little too convenient. I think it's time for a Q&A. What exactly did the skins do?
COURTNEY: I don't know.
(Tess pulls the drain plug and the nutrient bath starts to go down the drain)
COURTNEY: No.
ISABEL: What happened to our families?
COURTNEY: Time exists in multiple subset dimensions on our planet. Nicholas must have a technology to impose one or more of these here.
ISABEL: Speak English.
COURTNEY: It's like being on Pacific and Eastern and Central and Mountain time all at once. Human bodies can't function. They simply disappear.
LIZ: To where? Where are our parents, our friends. Where is everyone? Are they dead? Wha...
MARIA: Water's getting low.
COURTNEY: Somewhere! Another dimension, another plane of existence! I don't know
where! They seem to have just...shifted.
MARIA: Well, can we get 'em back?
COURTNEY: I don't know. Please.
(Tess replaces the drain plug)
ISABEL: Why haven't Alex, Liz and Maria disappeared?
“I don't...I don't know. Probably because their not completely human. Please” Courtney explained
(Maria and Liz go downstairs a skin sees them and goes after them. The Sheriff saves them.)
MAX: If guns don't work, how do we kill them?
COURTNEY: Take the heaviest thing that you can find...and smash this as hard as you can. It breaks the seal in the husk...permanently.
ISABEL: What about Nicholas? What can he do?
COURTNEY: All the things you can...times a thousand. But the thing you should be the most afraid of...is this.
(Courtney points to her head)
COURTNEY: He can get inside of your head and take anything that he wants. Basically, he rapes you of your memories and your thoughts.
“I have some questions that I want answered” Maria says as she sits opposite Courtney.
“What” was all Courtney said.
“Before you rebelled against Kivar you were in his army right?” Maria asked.
Courtney nodded
“So what made you join him in the first place? I mean he musta offered you something, what was it?” Maria questioned.
“When our people come to Antar we were looked down upon by yours. Kivar promised us quality if we joined him” Courtney explains.
“Wait, wait your telling us your not even from Antar” Maria said an air of shock.
“I was born on Antar but my family originated on another planet. When our planet was on the brink of destruction your great-great grandfather gave us sanctuary when no one else would” Courtney clarifies as she looks from Maria to Max and Isabel.
“So what you repay his kindness and generosity by kill off his family. Let me guess Kivar never came good on his promises that’s why rebelled against him” Maria assumes
“You wouldn’t understand, YOU! Were nothing more then a pampered, spoiled little princess who never had deal with hardship or WORRY IF YOU’LL BE ABLE TO EAT TODAY. We were practically slaves” Courtney shouts.
“Maybe I don’t or wouldn’t understand what you went through but you have no right to blame Max and say he was bad king because you got a raw deal. His... Our great-great grandfather took your people in; you wouldn’t exist if it wasn’t for him. How many innocence did you kill before you realize it was WRONG! You’re so eager to blame everyone else for why the war started except the people who are really responsible. Look in the mirror Courtney you’re just as much to blame as Kivar and everyone else who was too scared or too stupid to see that Kivar was after one Thing! Power!” Maria said with an unknown fury that she almost forgot why she was questioning her.
“What the Galivis stone and what’s it got to do with me?” Maria asked
Courtney took a deep breath and tried to explain. “The Galivis is the most powerful energy source in the universe as far as we know. It was built by our ancestors. No one really no how it works. There’s only one person who can wield it’s power, the Keeper, all others are incinerated if they try to pick it up. The Keeper is usually a member of the Anterian royal family. The only known way to destroy the stone is to kill the keeper when it’s inside him or her. It was inside you when you had died but when the stone inside you it exist in an essence form so when you were engineered the Stone must have reformed.”
“Ok, beside it being really powerful what does Kivar wait with it. I mean he can’t use” Kyle asked.
“The stone increases the keeper’s natural abilities by 100 times And it’s the key to a very powerful weapon. The weapon is programmed to only kill those with the DNA that was programmed into it, leaving every building, animal and plant completely unharmed. The weapon was lost centuries ago and the stone the only way to find it, it acts like a tracking device” Courtney clarified.
“If there are no more questions we've gotta get everybody to a safer location” The Sheriff stated
MAX: The UFO center. It's a former bomb shelter. There are no windows and fewer ways in and out. After we get everyone situated, you, me, Michael, Isabel, and Tess will start picking them off one by one.
“What about us” Kyle inquired about him and Alex.
“I need you two to stay with Maria and Liz” Max explains.
(The go to the UFO center in groups. Isabel runs to try and deal with Nicolas on her own.)
(Maria paces around. She walks by an exhibit with a mannequin in a window. She turns around and walks back and notices the mannequin is missing now. A skin steps out and blasts Maria with an energy blast)
MARIA: Tess!
(Tess sneaks behind the skin and kicks its seal self-destruct button but two come out of no where. One goes after Tess and the other after Maria. Maria is knock unconscious by the skin and taken while Tess fights off the other one.)
“They found a way in and they got Maria. We've gotta go” Tess exclaimed.
"WHAT?" Micheal screamed
MAX: All right. We'll head for the school. It's our turf. Get your dad.
KYLE: I can't. He disappeared right in front of me.
(Kyle sees a UFO Center postcard and recognizes the sign in it. It's the one he and his dad saw earlier that was defaced)
KYLE: That time field is coming from the billboard out by Chaparral Turnout. My dad spotted a green rod stuck through it this morning. We thought it was a prank. I'm heading out there.
MAX: No. We stick together.
KYLE: Hey, I've been really nice about following your orders, Senor Presidente, but if I can do something to help bring some people back or ensure that Liz, Alex, and I live to see another day, I'm gonna do it.
MAX: Kyle. Look...take Bradford Alley all the way out of town. It's a straight shot. You can't get boxed in.
KYLE: Thanks.
MAX: Good luck...to all of you.
KYLE: I'll take care of her.
Max nodded to Kyle then turned to Liz. “Be careful, I'll get Maria back don’t worry.” He hug close and whispered ‘I love you’ in her ear. Liz turns and walks up the stairs but takes one more glimpse of Max before she leaves.
MAX: Ok. It's the four of us on foot. If we stick to the side streets, we can...
TESS: What's wrong?
MAX: Where's Courtney?
(Inside the skins' bus, Isabel is handcuffed to the railing)
ISABEL: Uh...
NICHOLAS: I knew it was only a matter of time before you rejoined our side, Vilandra.
IDA: Tryin' to ambush my baby. I should pull out your filthy eyes and grind 'em into dust.
ISABEL: I came to make a deal.
NICHOLAS: And what could you possibly have to offer us?
ISABEL: Me.
NICHOLAS: You always were a flighty little princess. Jewels before studies. That's our Vilandra. We have you, you beautiful moron
ISABEL: I think you're the one who doesn't understand.
NICHOLAS: Leave us.
IDA: You can't possibly think that this woman...
NICHOLAS: Do you really want to finish that sentence? Leave. Now.
IDA: All right.
(Ida leaves)
NICHOLAS: Go ahead.
ISABEL: The last time we were together, you awakened something in me. I remembered things from our past. You and me.
NICHOLAS: Our forbidden meetings.
ISABEL: I came here for you. I know what's hiding behind that husk.
Nicholas motions with his hand and the handcuffs disappear. Isabel acts like she's going to kiss Nicholas, but at the last instant, she pushes him to the ground. She reaches for his fanny pack when Ida comes in and knocks Isabel out
ISABEL: Uhh!
NICHOLAS: Mom, what are you doing?!
IDA: Saving you, sir!
NICHOLAS: She was no threat! Damn it, now she's no good at all! I'm sick of this!
IDA: What do you want to do now?
NICHOLAS: Kill every last one of 'em.
“Well I think I’ve got something that’ll cheer you up” Ida says as a skin brings in a unconscious Maria and lies her next to Isabel.
“Both Vilandra and Vilara(Va-lar-ria), Kivar will be very please and maybe we can get off this vile planet” Nicholas said looking down at the two sleeping princess.
(Liz, Alex, and Kyle are on their way to the billboard. When the get there their attacked by skins. Alex and Kyle hold them off while Liz tries to short circuit it using Maria jumper cables)
MAX: You sure you don't know where Courtney went?
MICHAEL: Your guess is as good as mine.
TESS: I've got one. She and Nicholas are probably laughing at how gullible we are.
“Isabel. Maria” Max bellows as he runs to his sisters’ side.
NICHOLAS: Ahem!
Max, Michael, and Tess look around. They're surrounded by skins
Back at the billboard, Liz grabs some jumper cables and starts to set them up
Max, Isabel, Tess, Maria and Michael are tied up to pillars. Nicholas walks up to Max
NICHOLAS: What happened to you, guy? You used to determine the fate of entire armies with the flip of a coin. Luckily for me, you continue to put your faith in the wrong people. Does this scene feel familiar, Vilandra? And your trusted second...the boy who spilled the secret of the granilith to one of our exiled members. Rule number one of war: keep your big mouth shut. Courtney knew that. That's why she killed herself before I could get its exact location. By the way, love the hair. Hope you win. And little Vilara possible the most powerful of the five of you and she’s nothing more then a weak human. There's one more thing I need to know before we can all call it a day. Where's the granilith?
MAX: I'm not telling you.
NICHOLAS: Oh...you will.
Nicholas motions with his hand and Michael, Maria, Isabel, and Tess start screaming in pain
MAX: Wait! I'll take you there! Just you and me. This has nothing to do with them.
ISABEL: Max, don't.
NICHOLAS: This is too easy. In the old days, I would've been no match for you. But...now...
Nicholas grabs Max's head and starts draining his memory. ‘NO!’ Screamed in his head.
MAX: Nyggggg...unhh! Ohhh...uhh!
NICHOLAS: Either way, you're going to die, Max. So why don't you just make this easy on yourself?
MAX: Uhhh! Uhhh! Uhhh!
Max focuses and repels Nicholas' mind drain. ‘ I can’t...I wont let him have the granilith’ Max thought.
Back at the billboard Liz is having trouble getting the jumper cables on the rod thing and Alex and Kyle are still busy with the skins
(Back at school)
NICHOLAS: Ready to tell me now?
-billboard-
Liz hooks the cable clamps to each other and places it on top of the green pulsating tube. Alex and Kyle finish of the skins
“Liz get down, NOW!” Kyle yells to her.
Kyle and Alex Help Liz down and run to Maria’s car for cover.
The cables destroy the tube and Roswell glows green again as the effects of the tube are reversed
-School-
Maria screams shrilly and then gathers unknown power. ‘I can’t let him hurt Zan, NO! Not again’ a voice screams in her head. A raging fire starts to build behind her and she releases it into the group of skins, vaporizing them. Maria is drained and stumbles but Micheal catches her.
“What...what just happened?” Maria asked confused.
MAX: You saved us.
“Ohhh...” Is all Maria can say in disbelief.
“Vilandra?” Max says as he turned to his sister, ‘what she keeping from me?’ Max thinks to him self.
-Later that day-
Max and Maria are walking through a park, discussing what happened
“I don’t know what happened Max something inside me was just angry. And I couldn't let him hurt you” Maria tries to explain.
“You saved us Maria, It was probably the stone. Do you think you could do it again?” Max wondered.
“Maybe but I don’t think I would want to. It was scary Max” Maria shuddered at what she was capable of.
Suddenly, a little boy who looks a lot like Nicholas bumps into Maria while riding a scooter. The episode ends with Max and Maria staring after the boy as he rides away

(AN: There are no dupes. It's a short part I'll add more to it soon I just wanted to post something for now. Takes place around meet the dupes and max in the city but before thanksgiving. The alien's history is based on a show called the tribe. It does not belong to but to cluod 9 and it's producers, writer, etc... I'm only borrowing it. Enjoy.) Also I don't have Pt. 10 finished yet but I'm working on it.
Pt. 8
-Maria thoughts-
It had been almost a month since the skins came to Roswell and things had seemed to be getting back to normal. Every now and then the girls would get together and have a spa day or girls night. The guys were hanging out more as well. It was like they were normal teenagers just going to school and hang with friends. They were all sitting in the quad eating lunch when Max announced that he wanted to have tomorrow night at the UFO center but he wouldn’t say what it was about. He was still a little worried that the whole incident with the skins might have drawn some unnecessary attention.
-The UFO center the next day-
Max, Isabel, Tess, Kyle, Alex, and Liz were already at the UFO center when Micheal and Maria showed up fifteen minutes late.
“You guys are late” Max yelled up to them as they descended the stairs.
“Ya like fifteen minutes. You know could’ve started the meeting without us, Maxwell” Micheal replied to his statement.
“Well Liz and I wanted to wait till everyone was here so we only say this once” Max answered.
“So get on with it some of use have plans” Kyle said referring to his and Tess’ date.
“We need to work on developing you guy’s powers and strengthening our own” Max explained.
“And we need plan times around everyone schedule so that aren’t conflicting times” Liz add.
Maria smiled at Liz’s need to be organized but maybe they were right she thought. She was pretty sure that there had to be more skins out there somewhere.
“So you want use to spend our Saturday night making up a schedule” Isabel said in disbelief.
“I want us to be prepared for next challenge” Max said to the group.
“Max is right we don’t know what else is out there. There could thousands of skins on earth and they could be anywhere” Maria said agreeing with Max.
Max was about to speak when he say his boss hurry down the stairs. “Brody, hey we were just working a project for school. I hope you don’t mind us hangin’ out here” Max said as Brody came to stand in front of them.
“I’m not Brody, I’m Larek” Brody’s body answered.
“You’re a skin” Max said holding out his hand and Micheal, Isabel, and Tess followed suite.
“No, no.... I’m a friend. My name is Larek and I’m the ruler of one of the five planets. I am... borrowing Brody’s body to speak to you” Larek explained backing up a little.
“What do you want?” Micheal asked not believing a word the guy said.
“They four house and Kivar have decided to come together to try and end the war because Kivar doesn’t legal rule Antar you will represent Antar” Larek explained as he relaxed.
“What do you mean that Kivar is the ruler of Antar? Didn’t he kill us to take Max’s throne?” Maria asked confused.
Larek looked at her and there was just something familiar about him. His name gave her this deji vu feeling.
“Yes Killing Zan... your former self was to take the throne but as long as someone lives to carry on the bloodline they are legally the ruler. Since Zan’s blood runs through your veins you are the rightful King” Larek explained not taking his eyes from Maria which made her blush.
“So when is this meeting anyway?” Isabel asked wanting to steer the conversation away from their deaths.
“It’s tomorrow and I have to brush you up on history and customs so you don’t offend anyone” Larek explained.
“Are the others going to do the alien possession thing you’re doing? Because it’s really creepy” Maria asked.
“Yes, it takes a lot of resource to send ship to earth. Even taking possession of the body takes up valuable resources” Larek answered.
“All right we should go home gets some sleep and come back in the morning to prepare” Max told the group.
“What I have to teach you will take more than just a few hours, could you not stay the night?” Larek asked.
“Well... If you really think you’ll need all night I guess we can stay the night but we have to call our parents first” Max explained.
“Do we all have to stay; can’t a few of us stay and fill the rest of in later?” Kyle asked not wanting to spend his weekend in the UFO center.
“If you all plan to attend the meeting then you must be here to hear what I have to say” Larek explained.
After a half an hour of arguing the decided that it was only fair that they all stay. Michael and Tess ran over to the crashdown to get food for everyone while the others called their parents.
“Well if going to waste our whole weekend here can we get on with it?” Kyle asked as he sulked in the coner.
“We have to wait for Michael and Tess” Max stated.
After a few minutes Tess and Michael came down the stairs with their arms full of food. Once everyone was seated and eating Larek began.
“Tommorow morning you will meet with the emissary and he will confirm that you are the true and right King of Antar. Kathana, Sero, Hanar, and I will represent each of our worlds. Max you will speak for Antar” Larek explained.
“What makes you so sure I am Zan?” Max asked.
“We grew up together I would know you anywhere” Larek clarified
“You are the descendent of the first King of Antar, Bray. Our world was much like earth many centuries ago. Our people were once so eager to extend their life that the manufacture of drugs and creams were at an all time high. A scientist whose name was lost long ago developed a drug that actually worked. It wasn’t quite developed when an accident accrued and the formula for the drug turned into a virus that killed all the adults. There was chaos everywhere but out of that darkness rose Bray” Larek gave detail.
Pt.9
“If the drug worked why did it kill all of the parents?” Tess asked
“The drug acted as a virus that attacked an aging proton we carry when we turn a certain age. Unlike humans we only go through two life cycles, childhood and adulthood. When a child reaches the age of seventeen a proton is released that activates their reproductive systems” Larek explained.
“So...um if a sixteen year old wanted have sex they like physically can’t?” Kyle asked.
“No they could but there would be no risk of unplanned pregnancies but most do not before they become an adult. Also if a person a of seventeen were to be with a person a of sixteen it would be consider illegal because the sixteen year old is not of age” Larek explained.
-Throughout the night Larek explained their history and customs in dealing with the other delegates. He also told them bits and pieces about their pass as well. And that the war has only been going on for five years, that for every year that passes on antar ten pass on earth.-
-It was dawn when the emissary came, Larek escorted the emissary in to the UFO center. The emissary walks behind Max and places his hand behind Max's head. A light bursts forth from the emissary's head, shooting through Max's head, and projecting an image in front of Max. 8 lights circle around and gradually form the V-shape, which is the royal seal-
EMISSARY: Sign here...your Highness. (The emissary gives Max a receipt and leaves)
“What is it Max?” Liz asked looking over his shoulder.
MAX: It's a...it's a time card. The emissary works for a...a temp agency?
“No he is using a form of possession like me” Larek explained.
“Ohhh” Max said in understanding.
“So when will the other delegates get here?” Michael asked.
“The should be here shortly” Larek explains as three peopl descended the stairs.
“Is this boy Zan?” Sero asked Looking Max up and down.
MAX: They tell me that used to be my name. But my name is Max. Max Evans.
KATHANA: If he doesn't even know who he is, how can he sit in conference with us?
LAREK: He sits with us because the emissary certified him. Kathana, Sero, Hanar, and I will represent each of our worlds. Max will speak for his.
“Actually, Kivar speaks for his world. And I speak for Kivar. Max. Nice to see your genocidal sister again. Killed anyone today?” Nicholas says as he jogs down the stairs.
“The day still young, I always wondered what a overgrown dead rat look like” Maria with disgust.
NICHOLAS: What a charmer.
“Can we begin? And Nicholas you of all people know the manner in which Kivar ascend to power is considered illegal among the treaty of peace by our all people. In short Kivar is not the rightful ruler of Antar, Zan....Max is” Larek explain as he took his seat at the makeshift conference table, the others followed. Micheal, Liz, Kyle, Maria, Alex, Tess and Isabel sit behind Max
LAREK: We're here in the spirit of reconciliation. We're not here to rehash the past, point fingers, and assign blame.
HANAR: Can we get to it? We're here to end 50 years of misery and suffering among our worlds. Kathana attacks Kivar. Kivar attacks Sero. Sero attacks me. The situation is intolerable!
SERO: Agreed! We have to find a solution.
NICHOLAS: And Kivar has a solution. Kivar will abdicate the throne and allow the royal four to return home under the following conditions: 1) Max becomes king only in name. All real power and government remains in Kivar's hands, 2) Max calls upon his followers to lay down their weapons and support the new government, and 3) Most importantly...Max returns the granilith to us.
KATHANA: The granilith?
NICHOLAS: No, it's no longer on our world. Yes, we've known about it for a long time. No, Kivar decided he didn't need to tell you. And, yes, we know where it is. It's with Max.
LAREK: Is this true, Max?
MAX: It's here.
NICHOLAS: So there you have it. Max comes home with the granilith. All is forgiven. Do we have a deal?
MAX: I...need to think about this.
LAREK: I'd be surprised if you didn't. But be quick about it. Holding onto these bodies isn't easy. In fact, it's chewing up huge amounts of our resources. 20 minutes, Max...then I need an answer.
MAX: You'll have it.
-Outside-
“You can not give Nicholas the granilith!!” Michael shouted at Max as soon as they were out of earshot.
“I know that Michael. The question is what else could Nicolas have up his sleeve? For all we know he could have a whole army outside of town waiting for us” Max said going on the defensive.
“I don’t think his has army or thing like that why even come here if that was the case?” Liz asked.
“It’s a tactic. KIvar knows Max would never expect a deal like that but when he refuses that could turn any allies we have against us and the people as well. And those few who know that Kivar would likely kill us all once he gets the granilith they’ll have focus on staying alive” Maria explained.
She’s right it’s dangerous either way but which way do we have a better chance of surviving?” Isabel asked as she looked to her brother.
-Inside-
“You still love her don’t you? Pathetic, she betrayed with another man and here are still pining for” Nicholas said as he sat down next to Larek.
“She didn’t betray me, I know she didn’t love the way she loved him so freed her from her obligation to our ‘arranged marriage’” Larek explained through gritted teeth.
Nicholas was about speak again when Max and the others came back into the UFO center, Lerak stood up when noticed as well.
LAREK: Well, Max, have you made your decision?
MAX: Yes, I have. And the answer is no. I will not give up the granilith to you. Not to you, not to Kivar, not to anyone. It was entrusted to me.
NICHOLAS: You're all witnesses. Kivar tried to be reasonable, tried to extend a hand of peace...and had it slapped away. Our business is at an end here. Our offers are withdrawn.
KATHANA: You made a lot of enemies here today.
NICHOLAS: Do you ever wonder why your predecessor was killed? He made bad decisions.
(Nicholas leaves. All the emissaries are gone except Larek)
“You did well Max, I knew you would never take the deal. Remeber you are a great leader not just because you were once a King. Don’t worry about the others I’ll eal with them” Larek explains
“I don’t understand, it could all ended here. Why aren’t angry like the others?” Max asked.
“Because I know Kivar and it will never end until he rules all five planets and then he’ll turn his attention to earth. Kathana, Sero, Hanar, and I are working together build up a strong enough resistance to fight Kivar army we should be ready in one earth year so try and stay alive until then” Larek explains.
“So there’s hope” Maria stated.
“Yes. I should get my host back to his home now. May I speak with you in private for a moment?” Larek asked turning to Maria.
“Ahhh...Ok sure” Maria said as followed Larek outside.
“What was that about?” Tess asked
“I don’t know” Micheal said ‘but I don’t like it!’ Michael thought possessively.

“No, no.... I’m a friend. My name is Larek and I’m the ruler of one of the five planets. I am... borrowing Brody’s body to speak to you” Larek explained backing up a little.
“What do you want?” Micheal asked not believing a word the guy said.
“They four house and Kivar have decided to come together to try and end the war because Kivar doesn’t legal rule Antar you will represent Antar” Larek explained as he relaxed.
“What do you mean that Kivar is the ruler of Antar? Didn’t he kill us to take Max’s throne?” Maria asked confused.
Larek looked at her and there was just something familiar about him. His name gave her this deji vu feeling.
“Yes Killing Zan... your former self was to take the throne but as long as someone lives to carry on the bloodline they are legally the ruler. Since Zan’s blood runs through your veins you are the rightful King” Larek explained not taking his eyes from Maria which made her blush.
“So when is this meeting anyway?” Isabel asked wanting to steer the conversation away from their deaths.
“It’s tomorrow and I have to brush you up on history and customs so you don’t offend anyone” Larek explained.
“Are the others going to do the alien possession thing you’re doing? Because it’s really creepy” Maria asked.
“Yes, it takes a lot of resource to send ship to earth. Even taking possession of the body takes up valuable resources” Larek answered.
“All right we should go home gets some sleep and come back in the morning to prepare” Max told the group.
“What I have to teach you will take more than just a few hours, could you not stay the night?” Larek asked.
“Well... If you really think you’ll need all night I guess we can stay the night but we have to call our parents first” Max explained.
“Do we all have to stay; can’t a few of us stay and fill the rest of in later?” Kyle asked not wanting to spend his weekend in the UFO center.
“If you all plan to attend the meeting then you must be here to hear what I have to say” Larek explained.
After a half an hour of arguing the decided that it was only fair that they all stay. Michael and Tess ran over to the crashdown to get food for everyone while the others called their parents.
“Well if going to waste our whole weekend here can we get on with it?” Kyle asked as he sulked in the coner.
“We have to wait for Michael and Tess” Max stated.
After a few minutes Tess and Michael came down the stairs with their arms full of food. Once everyone was seated and eating Larek began.
“Tommorow morning you will meet with the emissary and he will confirm that you are the true and right King of Antar. Kathana, Sero, Hanar, and I will represent each of our worlds. Max you will speak for Antar” Larek explained.
“What makes you so sure I am Zan?” Max asked.
“We grew up together I would know you anywhere” Larek clarified
“You are the descendent of the first King of Antar, Bray. Our world was much like earth many centuries ago. Our people were once so eager to extend their life that the manufacture of drugs and creams were at an all time high. A scientist whose name was lost long ago developed a drug that actually worked. It wasn’t quite developed when an accident accrued and the formula for the drug turned into a virus that killed all the adults. There was chaos everywhere but out of that darkness rose Bray” Larek gave detail.
Pt.9
“If the drug worked why did it kill all of the parents?” Tess asked
“The drug acted as a virus that attacked an aging proton we carry when we turn a certain age. Unlike humans we only go through two life cycles, childhood and adulthood. When a child reaches the age of seventeen a proton is released that activates their reproductive systems” Larek explained.
“So...um if a sixteen year old wanted have sex they like physically can’t?” Kyle asked.
“No they could but there would be no risk of unplanned pregnancies but most do not before they become an adult. Also if a person a of seventeen were to be with a person a of sixteen it would be consider illegal because the sixteen year old is not of age” Larek explained.
-Throughout the night Larek explained their history and customs in dealing with the other delegates. He also told them bits and pieces about their pass as well. And that the war has only been going on for five years, that for every year that passes on antar ten pass on earth.-
-It was dawn when the emissary came, Larek escorted the emissary in to the UFO center. The emissary walks behind Max and places his hand behind Max's head. A light bursts forth from the emissary's head, shooting through Max's head, and projecting an image in front of Max. 8 lights circle around and gradually form the V-shape, which is the royal seal-
EMISSARY: Sign here...your Highness. (The emissary gives Max a receipt and leaves)
“What is it Max?” Liz asked looking over his shoulder.
MAX: It's a...it's a time card. The emissary works for a...a temp agency?
“No he is using a form of possession like me” Larek explained.
“Ohhh” Max said in understanding.
“So when will the other delegates get here?” Michael asked.
“The should be here shortly” Larek explains as three peopl descended the stairs.
“Is this boy Zan?” Sero asked Looking Max up and down.
MAX: They tell me that used to be my name. But my name is Max. Max Evans.
KATHANA: If he doesn't even know who he is, how can he sit in conference with us?
LAREK: He sits with us because the emissary certified him. Kathana, Sero, Hanar, and I will represent each of our worlds. Max will speak for his.
“Actually, Kivar speaks for his world. And I speak for Kivar. Max. Nice to see your genocidal sister again. Killed anyone today?” Nicholas says as he jogs down the stairs.
“The day still young, I always wondered what a overgrown dead rat look like” Maria with disgust.
NICHOLAS: What a charmer.
“Can we begin? And Nicholas you of all people know the manner in which Kivar ascend to power is considered illegal among the treaty of peace by our all people. In short Kivar is not the rightful ruler of Antar, Zan....Max is” Larek explain as he took his seat at the makeshift conference table, the others followed. Micheal, Liz, Kyle, Maria, Alex, Tess and Isabel sit behind Max
LAREK: We're here in the spirit of reconciliation. We're not here to rehash the past, point fingers, and assign blame.
HANAR: Can we get to it? We're here to end 50 years of misery and suffering among our worlds. Kathana attacks Kivar. Kivar attacks Sero. Sero attacks me. The situation is intolerable!
SERO: Agreed! We have to find a solution.
NICHOLAS: And Kivar has a solution. Kivar will abdicate the throne and allow the royal four to return home under the following conditions: 1) Max becomes king only in name. All real power and government remains in Kivar's hands, 2) Max calls upon his followers to lay down their weapons and support the new government, and 3) Most importantly...Max returns the granilith to us.
KATHANA: The granilith?
NICHOLAS: No, it's no longer on our world. Yes, we've known about it for a long time. No, Kivar decided he didn't need to tell you. And, yes, we know where it is. It's with Max.
LAREK: Is this true, Max?
MAX: It's here.
NICHOLAS: So there you have it. Max comes home with the granilith. All is forgiven. Do we have a deal?
MAX: I...need to think about this.
LAREK: I'd be surprised if you didn't. But be quick about it. Holding onto these bodies isn't easy. In fact, it's chewing up huge amounts of our resources. 20 minutes, Max...then I need an answer.
MAX: You'll have it.
-Outside-
“You can not give Nicholas the granilith!!” Michael shouted at Max as soon as they were out of earshot.
“I know that Michael. The question is what else could Nicolas have up his sleeve? For all we know he could have a whole army outside of town waiting for us” Max said going on the defensive.
“I don’t think his has army or thing like that why even come here if that was the case?” Liz asked.
“It’s a tactic. KIvar knows Max would never expect a deal like that but when he refuses that could turn any allies we have against us and the people as well. And those few who know that Kivar would likely kill us all once he gets the granilith they’ll have focus on staying alive” Maria explained.
She’s right it’s dangerous either way but which way do we have a better chance of surviving?” Isabel asked as she looked to her brother.
-Inside-
“You still love her don’t you? Pathetic, she betrayed with another man and here are still pining for” Nicholas said as he sat down next to Larek.
“She didn’t betray me, I know she didn’t love the way she loved him so freed her from her obligation to our ‘arranged marriage’” Larek explained through gritted teeth.
Nicholas was about speak again when Max and the others came back into the UFO center, Lerak stood up when noticed as well.
LAREK: Well, Max, have you made your decision?
MAX: Yes, I have. And the answer is no. I will not give up the granilith to you. Not to you, not to Kivar, not to anyone. It was entrusted to me.
NICHOLAS: You're all witnesses. Kivar tried to be reasonable, tried to extend a hand of peace...and had it slapped away. Our business is at an end here. Our offers are withdrawn.
KATHANA: You made a lot of enemies here today.
NICHOLAS: Do you ever wonder why your predecessor was killed? He made bad decisions.
(Nicholas leaves. All the emissaries are gone except Larek)
“You did well Max, I knew you would never take the deal. Remeber you are a great leader not just because you were once a King. Don’t worry about the others I’ll eal with them” Larek explains
“I don’t understand, it could all ended here. Why aren’t angry like the others?” Max asked.
“Because I know Kivar and it will never end until he rules all five planets and then he’ll turn his attention to earth. Kathana, Sero, Hanar, and I are working together build up a strong enough resistance to fight Kivar army we should be ready in one earth year so try and stay alive until then” Larek explains.
“So there’s hope” Maria stated.
“Yes. I should get my host back to his home now. May I speak with you in private for a moment?” Larek asked turning to Maria.
“Ahhh...Ok sure” Maria said as followed Larek outside.
“What was that about?” Tess asked
“I don’t know” Micheal said ‘but I don’t like it!’ Michael thought possessively.

1st part of part 10 I'll try to get more soon but I just wanted to posted this. Thanx Harroc83 and RhondaAnn for there feedback.
Pt. 10a
Maria walked quietly along side Larek outside the UFO Center.
“So what is it you wanted to talk to me about?” Maria asked breaking the silence.
“Well it’s very complicated... I shouldn’t even be telling this, it’s not like it would make any difference but it needs to be said. I guess it’s more for my well begin then anything else... I know that must sound really selfish but have no idea what it was like sitting there watching after mourning you for so long and...” Larek said in a huff before Maria could interrupt him.
“Wait, wait why don’t you calm down and we can talk” Maria says as she lead Larek to a beach to sit down. “Why don’t you start from the beginning, ok”
“Alright sorry ‘bout that. Well lets just say that we were involved back then but you didn’t love me like you loved him so I let you go. I just want to know are you happy, I mean I remember how Rath was then and really didn’t understand why you would want to be with a man like him. I’m sorry I don’t mean to pry but I just want to make sure your happy” Larek explained.
“I kinda understand where your coming from but you have to understand I’m not her, a part her lives in me but I’m not her. I can’t tell you about her life with Rath but I love Michael and we are happy though he does have his moments” Maria answered him.
Larek scooted closer to Maria and placed his hand on her cheek as he spoke. “I never mistook you for her but I do see her in you. I can’t know what you feelimg but always know I will be here if you ever need me” Larek places a kiss on Maria’s forehead and she’s hit with flashes.

“And don’t come back!!” Michael screamed after him.
“Michael your making a scene” Maria said as she put her hand on his arm to calm him down but he yanked it away.
“I’m going home we’ll talk tomorrow” was all Michael said as he walked away.
“Great” Maria said wanting to kick her self.

“Maria are you listening to me? What happened between you and Larek?” Liz asked while helping Tess with her make-up.
“Nothing happened, I mean we didn’t kiss or anything...well he did kiss my forehead and I had these flashes it was so confusing and then the next thing I know is that Michael is about to kill him and now he’s mad at me” Maria Explained in one big huff.
“O.K. what were in these flashes exactly” Isabel asked.
“Me and Larek dancing, talking completely innocent then there were ones me and Michael, lets just say they weren’t as innocent” Maria explained.
“Well if Michael happened to see these flashes then there is no reason for angry about that but we all know Michael and if he saw you and Larek cuddle up together might cause him to lash out...What did he say exactly?” Tess asked.
“Who Michael or Lerak?” Maria asked.
“Michael” all three girls said in unisons.
“Well he said he’d talk to me tomorrow and left but we’ll probably talk later tonight since we both work the shift tonight” Maria explained.
The other girls nodded and the all went back to help Tess get ready for her date with Kyle. They continued to talk about guys as they picked out clothes and shoes. They decided to pick a day some time this month where they would all go shopping. When they were done Tess was in light blue sundress with a matching sweater but a shade darker, her hair was put into little curls with only a little make-up to make it like more natural. After they sent Tess off with varies advice about the do’s and don’ts of the first date Isabel went to meet with Max. Liz and Maria had to go to work and Maria had to g face Michael.

It had six hours and thirty-two minutes since the “incident” with Michael and Larek and it was now 5:26pm and Maria was getting ready for her shift with Michael. As the day went on Maria came up with a plan on how to deal with Michael and that was to bluntly tell him that he was being an idiot and to get over it but she couldn’t help but wonder if this was some kind avoidance of a commitment thing. Maria finished putting her uniform on and left the back room to face the beast.
Maria walked through the Crashdown taking orders and serving food but had yet to talk to Michael. Every time she went to place an order or get food Michael would deliberately turn his back to her and pretend that he was fixing something but she got the message loud and clear. So instead of comforting him now she decided to leave until he was calmer, the last thing she wanted was to have a big argument with him in public or have him blow something up. She really didn’t feel like arguing with him in fact she didn’t feel good at all, she must be getting sick.
“So have you talked to Michael yet?” Liz asked as she served an elderly couple.
“No every time I go near the grill he turns away, I can take a hint and besides I’m not feeling so hot anyway” Maria said.
“I know how you feel it must be something going round ‘cause I don’t feel so hot either” Liz stated as wiped her forehead.
Just then Max Evans walked in with his sister, Isabel. Maria could by the look on Liz’s face that she was starting to feel better.
“HEY, Parker orders up” Bellowed Michael.
Liz looked back at Michael than over at Max then back to Maria and asked “would you?”
“Sure go claim your prince” Maria answered as she thought ‘while I try to tame my beast’ looking over at the scowling alien.

Maria walked over to Michael to retrieve the order for Liz. She was dreading talking to Michael but he had to listen to reason. As soon as she walked to the counter Michael turned away.
“Damn it! Michael would stop acting like a child and listen to. Nothing happened between me and Larek, it was just big misunderstanding” Maria hissed at him.
“MISUNDERSTANDING! From what I saw you were all over each other and then I saw what he showed you and you expect me to be ok with that well I can’t” Michael said with looking at her.
Maria began to open her mouth to say something but shook her head against it. She grabbed the plate for Liz’s ordered.
“Are you ok?” Liz asked Maria.
“Yeah, can handle things for ten minutes Michael and I are gonna take a break” Maria asked Liz as she stared at Michael.
“Sure” was all Liz said as Maria walked into the back room.
-In the Backroom-
“Michael what exactly did you see?” Maria asked as calmly as she could.
“I saw you and him together, from before” Michael answered
“Did you see the stuff after that?” Maria asked glaring at Michael.
“No I pulled away before I saw anything to graphic” Michael said as he glared back at Maria.
“Well if you would had kept your cool you would have seen that the last few flashes were of us, as in you and me and the way things looked is that I was cheat on him with YOU. Nothing happened okay, we just talked and he kissed my forehead. I think he needed some closure or something.” Maria explained to him.
Michael rubbed his hands over his face and signed.
“Maybe I over reacted but it was just something about seeing with that guy that I just snapped. Sorry” Michael explained.
“It’s okay” Maria said as hug Michael.
“MARIA. MICAEL. IM STARTING TO GET SWAPED OUT HERE” Liz hollered from the front.
“We better get out there” Michael said to Maria as the moved apart.
-Kyle and Tess’ Date-
Kyle and Tess were walking back from there date side by side while eating ice cream cones. The date was pretty normal a movie and then dinner, then after dinner they decided to go for ice cream. The movie went okay; it was a romantic comedy that Tess picked out. At dinner though it was kind of awkward, neither of them knew what to say to the other so they just talked about the movie. Now they were walking in silence.
“I had fun” Tess said to break the silence.
“Yeah me too, we should do it again” Kyle said back to her.
“Yeah…..Look I know this is kind of weird… you know me and you but I really do like you” Tess explained.
“I like you too…it’s the whole thing with you and Max and me Liz, it kind makes things hard. I was just wondering if you still have feelings for Max.” Kyle asked as he sat down on a bench and Tess sat next to him.
“No and I don’t think I ever did, I mean I was raised to believe that Max was my soul mate and that the two of us belong together but I think that all it ever was. I mean yeah I flashes and all that but it just didn’t feel right but I would tell myself that it would take time. Even when we kissed I thought that it good but it wasn’t the kind of kiss I was think it would be. You should hear the way Maria, Liz and Isabel talk about when there with Michael, Max and Alex it’s nothing I’ve experienced….Sorry to babble on like that.” Tess explained.
“Okay how about we just start fresh and forget about the Max and Liz stuff and focus on us to see where it goes.” Kyle said
“I like that idea” Tess said while licking her Ice cream
They continued to sit on the bench eating their ice cream and getting to know each other.
-Alex’s garage-
Alex’s band, the Witts, was practicing some new songs as Isabel watched.
“You know you don’t have stay if you don’t want to.” Alex said to Isabel after one of the songs.
“No, I like hearing you play. And besides I have nothing else to do so I’m all yours.” Isabel explains.
“Yes you are” Alex says as he leans in to kiss her.
“Uh…um” One of Alex’s band mates interrupt their kiss singling their ready for the next song. They begin to play as Isabel watches.
-Crashdown-
Maria, Liz and Michael were closing down the diner with Max’s help. Liz and Max were shameless flirting while cleaning the tables. Maria was cleaning the counter and refilling the ketchup bottles, Michael was in the back clean the Grill.
“So how did your talk go with Michael?” Liz asked seeing as her and Maria hadn’t had a chance to talk since the dinner rush.
“He apologized for being a complete idiot and being the angel that I am I forgave him” Maria explained with a smile.
Liz merely laughed a little and took a bucket of dishes in to the back.
-Back to Kyle and Tess-
Kyle and Tess were still talking on the bench after their ice cream was all gone. Tess had a little ice cream of the side of her mouth so Kyle leaned to wipe it away. Their eyes met and the stared at each other for a minute before Kyle lowered his lips down on to Tess’. After a few seconds of shock Tess wrapped her arms around Kyle’s neck and deepened the kiss. Neither of them had never felt anything like it before; their hearts raced, minds went a blur, their skin tingle in the most wonderful way.
“Wow” was all Tess could say as the broke apart.
Kyle gave her a goofy smile as he rested his forehead on hers. He reached up and caressed her cheek with his hand.
“It’s begun” was all Kyle said before he fell over.
“Kyle!!! KYLE!!! Wake up!! Please Kyle” Tess screamed as she laid him on the bench.
She took out her phone and called 911, she leaned down to make sure he was breathing.
-Alex’s Garage (same time)-
Alex and his band were in the middle of a song when he fell over and collapsed. Isabel was by his side in seconds trying to wake him up. One of his friends called 911 and another thought of using CPR but he wouldn’t wake.
-Crashdown (same time)-
Maria was behind the counter wiping down the milkshake machine when she just collapsed on the floor. Max ran over to her and tried to wake up but she wouldn’t stir.
“Michael” “Max” The two boys called out to each other.
-In the backroom-
Michael had just finished with the Grill area when walked into the backroom and saw Liz on the floor unconscious. He went over to her and called out for Max and heard Max call for him. He put Liz on the couch in order to go retrieve Max.
“Max something happened to Liz, she…” Michael started but was cut off when he saw Max on the ground with Maria.
“What happened?” Michael asked as he knelt beside her.
“I don’t know, I think she fainted but she won’t wake up” Max explained.
“Liz too, I found her on the ground in the brake room and put on the couch. Did you try healing her?” Michael asked.
“No I don’t know what’s wrong with her to heal her…..We should take ‘em to the Hospital” Max explained.
“What if it’s alien related? We could be risking exposure” Michael said as Max stood up.
“We don’t have a choice; their lives could be at stake. Would you rather risk that? My Jeep is parked out back, you better lock the front then come out the back. I’ll get Liz.” Max explained and headed to backroom.
Michael Locked up and carried Maria out the back where Max was wanting in the Jeep once they were settled the headed for the Hospital.
-Hospital-
Max and Michael rushed in side with Liz and Maria in their arms.
“We need help!! They fainted at work and won’t wake up” Max yelled to anyone that was listening.
Two orderlies came over with stretchers and had them place Maria and Liz on them. That’s when Max saw Tess, when the nurse was done questioning them about Liz and Maria they went over to her.
“Tess, what are you doing here?” Max asked.
“Max…Oh Kyle collapsed on the street and I could wake him so I called an ambulance. What are you doing here?” Tess explained with a sniffle.
“Liz and Maria collapsed too and we….” Max started to explain but the Hospital doors burst open and there was Alex on a stretcher being followed by a frantic Isabel.
“Isabel!” Max called out to his sister.
“Oh my god Max…H-he Just fell over I didn’t know what to do. One of his friends called 911…What are you doing here?” Isabel said rather shaken.
“It seems that whatever is happening to Alex is happening to the others as well” Max explained.
“What are we going to do” Michael asked.
“Right now we should call their parents and let them know what has happened” Max explained trying his best to keep the others calm.
They each call their signifigant others parent(s) to let them know what has happened. Max and Isabel call their parents to tell that they be stay at the Hospital until they here news about the others.

Maria walked over to Michael to retrieve the order for Liz. She was dreading talking to Michael but he had to listen to reason. As soon as she walked to the counter Michael turned away.
“Damn it! Michael would stop acting like a child and listen to. Nothing happened between me and Larek, it was just big misunderstanding” Maria hissed at him.
“MISUNDERSTANDING! From what I saw you were all over each other and then I saw what he showed you and you expect me to be ok with that well I can’t” Michael said with looking at her.
Maria began to open her mouth to say something but shook her head against it. She grabbed the plate for Liz’s ordered.
“Are you ok?” Liz asked Maria.
“Yeah, can handle things for ten minutes Michael and I are gonna take a break” Maria asked Liz as she stared at Michael.
“Sure” was all Liz said as Maria walked into the back room.
-In the Backroom-
“Michael what exactly did you see?” Maria asked as calmly as she could.
“I saw you and him together, from before” Michael answered
“Did you see the stuff after that?” Maria asked glaring at Michael.
“No I pulled away before I saw anything to graphic” Michael said as he glared back at Maria.
“Well if you would had kept your cool you would have seen that the last few flashes were of us, as in you and me and the way things looked is that I was cheat on him with YOU. Nothing happened okay, we just talked and he kissed my forehead. I think he needed some closure or something.” Maria explained to him.
Michael rubbed his hands over his face and signed.
“Maybe I over reacted but it was just something about seeing with that guy that I just snapped. Sorry” Michael explained.
“It’s okay” Maria said as hug Michael.
“MARIA. MICAEL. IM STARTING TO GET SWAPED OUT HERE” Liz hollered from the front.
“We better get out there” Michael said to Maria as the moved apart.
-Kyle and Tess’ Date-
Kyle and Tess were walking back from there date side by side while eating ice cream cones. The date was pretty normal a movie and then dinner, then after dinner they decided to go for ice cream. The movie went okay; it was a romantic comedy that Tess picked out. At dinner though it was kind of awkward, neither of them knew what to say to the other so they just talked about the movie. Now they were walking in silence.
“I had fun” Tess said to break the silence.
“Yeah me too, we should do it again” Kyle said back to her.
“Yeah…..Look I know this is kind of weird… you know me and you but I really do like you” Tess explained.
“I like you too…it’s the whole thing with you and Max and me Liz, it kind makes things hard. I was just wondering if you still have feelings for Max.” Kyle asked as he sat down on a bench and Tess sat next to him.
“No and I don’t think I ever did, I mean I was raised to believe that Max was my soul mate and that the two of us belong together but I think that all it ever was. I mean yeah I flashes and all that but it just didn’t feel right but I would tell myself that it would take time. Even when we kissed I thought that it good but it wasn’t the kind of kiss I was think it would be. You should hear the way Maria, Liz and Isabel talk about when there with Michael, Max and Alex it’s nothing I’ve experienced….Sorry to babble on like that.” Tess explained.
“Okay how about we just start fresh and forget about the Max and Liz stuff and focus on us to see where it goes.” Kyle said
“I like that idea” Tess said while licking her Ice cream
They continued to sit on the bench eating their ice cream and getting to know each other.
-Alex’s garage-
Alex’s band, the Witts, was practicing some new songs as Isabel watched.
“You know you don’t have stay if you don’t want to.” Alex said to Isabel after one of the songs.
“No, I like hearing you play. And besides I have nothing else to do so I’m all yours.” Isabel explains.
“Yes you are” Alex says as he leans in to kiss her.
“Uh…um” One of Alex’s band mates interrupt their kiss singling their ready for the next song. They begin to play as Isabel watches.
-Crashdown-
Maria, Liz and Michael were closing down the diner with Max’s help. Liz and Max were shameless flirting while cleaning the tables. Maria was cleaning the counter and refilling the ketchup bottles, Michael was in the back clean the Grill.
“So how did your talk go with Michael?” Liz asked seeing as her and Maria hadn’t had a chance to talk since the dinner rush.
“He apologized for being a complete idiot and being the angel that I am I forgave him” Maria explained with a smile.
Liz merely laughed a little and took a bucket of dishes in to the back.
-Back to Kyle and Tess-
