She was walking through gardens. they felt so familiar so much like . . . home. She smiled slightly to herself and slowly spun around looking up into his deep hazel eyes. She opened her mouth to say something but he put a finger to her lips and his eyes told her that no words were needed. He slipped his hand around the back of her neck and softly, Slowly pulled her lips to his. The kiss was soft but passionate. But he was ripped from her as his body fell to the ground. His blood stained the front of her white gown. She fell to her knees and pulled him onto her lap “ No Rath don’t leave me” she whispered as tears started to fall
“I love you” was all she heard as she felt him go limp in her arms

“Rath Nooooooo!” liz parker screamed as she sat bolt upright in bed. Her sister Maria came running through the bathroom they shared
“Its okay honey im here” Maria whispered as she pulled her sister into a hug she was shaking. this was odd liz never had nightmares. She rubbed Liz’s back so she calmed down enough to tell her what happened.
“Okay now tell me what happened”
“I had a nightmare”
“okay and. . . ?”
“it scared me ”
“obviously liz. now who’s Rath? ”
“he’s the guy in my dream”
“Yeah sis I figured that much”
“oh I really don’t kno” she said
“okay so you don’t know who he is?”
“no Ri”
“have you ever had this dream before ”
“no I don’t think so”
“Okay so tell me what happened”
“Were standing there kissing and all of a sudden hes bleeding on the ground, dying in my arms. Ria it hurt so much to loose him it felt so real” she whispered
“oh liz im so sorry” she pulled her sister into a hug and held her until she stopped Shaking
“do you want to call alex?”
“not unless you think we should im basically okay" she said
“then I do too okay try and get back to sleep ill see you in the morning kay
“okay Night Ri” liz said as she snuggled under the covers
“Night Lizzy” she said as she closed their connecting door.
Maria was kind of freaked out by her sister's nightmare liz was always so calm and logical it scared maria to see her sister so out of sorts. oh well she thought ill deal with it tommorrow with alex as she climbed back into bed

“Morning” michael guerin said gruffly to max and Isabel as he walked into the kitchen
“morning michael rough night? “ max asked looking at his sleepless appearance
“I just had this stupid dream ”
“About what” Isabel said
“I don’t really know”
“What do you mean michael” she asked
“ like I said I don’t kno im with this beautiful woman and then im lying on the ground bleeding to death” he said
“you died?” max asked trying to make sure he’d heard him correctly
“isnt that what I just said ” he said with the slightest annoyance gracing his features. max just looked at him
“ did you recognize the woman was she someone we go to school with ”
“no I remember her name was Leila and she definitely did not look like anyone we go to school with. ” michael shrugged
“Okay” max said but his expression told michael that he was about to ask him another question
“Are we gonna go to school or did I wake up this morning for no reason” michael sid quicky befor max got the chance to ask him anything else he didnt really want totalk about it anymore

“no not really It wasn’t that bad.” liz answered him
“ Liz" maria interupted "you woke up screaming and crying I would categorize that as bad”
“Ria it was just some nightmare it’s not a big deal” liz said as the bell rang “im okay and that’s all that matters right “ she said as they headed off for they’re last day of classes.
as liz walked off maria ran to catch up with alex "alex i dont know im really worried about her"
"What do you mean?"
"you should have seen her last night she was freaked she was shakng and crying and she was talking like a 10 year old. it must of felt really real to her.

It was the last period of the day and michael had art. He decided not to skip being as he actually like that class. He walked in and grabbed a sketchbook and some charcoals and sat down in the corner. He couldn’t explain it he just felt like he needed to draw. It was almost as if the pencil had taken over him he wasn’t really paying attention to what he was drawing. It just sort of poured out of him, her long hair and soulful eyes. Be fore he knew it the bell had rung he grabbed his stuff and headed for his bike. When he got home he threw the drawing on the table. Glancing at it quickly and walking into his bedroom. The he stopped, turned around and walked to the table and for the first time he really looked at the drawing. “it’s the girl from my dream” he said aloud to himself *that’s weird* he thought.

Maria Liz and Alex all walked into Liz’s house after school and quickly entered the kitchen to find both sets of their parents
“Mom ? Dad? What are you guys doing here?” alex asked
“well the Four of us have to talk to the three of you so we thought now was a good time”
“okay about what” liz asked
“Liz Maria Darlings you father and Mr. Whitman have entered into a business venture” Nancy parker told her daughters
“okay what does this have to do with us?” alex asked
“well Kids It means we have to move ” jeff parker said
“what?!?!” maria screeched “no that is so not happening Ever I am so not moving to a different city in my senior year mom I cant believe your letting them do this to us!”
“ Maria I don’t see the big deal its usually just the three of you and none of you have boyfriends or in Alex’s case a girlfriend”
Maria looked from her sister to her brother not believing they were taking this lying down “ you guys why aren’t you saying anything?”
“Because Ri” answering for both herself and alex after a moment “ nothing ties us here but each other and our families and if we all go theres nothing us tying us here at all.”
She looked at her sister opening their connection *c’mon Ri you know this place never felt like home anyway* * shes right Ria and it doesnt really mater where we are we are all we really have Ri* alex added tapping into their connectionand giving maria a look.
"When?" maria asked her parents
"End of june so. . 2 weeks" her mother said
"okay" was all she said as she turned and walked upstairs as alex and liz followed

Isabel had just gotten home from school. Michael was off helping max get a job. *glad I am not along for that little adventure * Isabel thought as she laughed lightly. Michael was just trying to stay away form Hank until the emancipation went through and well, while the 2 were like brothers they didn’t exactly agree on everything.*yeah I’m alone with those two too much as it is. Well seeing as I have nothing to do I guess I’ll just go lay down.” She was in her room flipping through Cosmo when she fell asleep
She was sitting at her vanity brushing her long golden hair she only had a few minutes before she was to meet him. She saw him as he walked towards her but she could not bring herself to smile at him. After witnessing her brother’s murder, she knew she never would smile again. “What’s wrong Vilondra?” he asked her *what isn’t wrong* she thought before she looked at him tears welling in her eyes.
“ Rath is dead Adrian,” she said as she stood slowly and walked out of her chambers into the stairwell with Adrian following.
“What do you mean he’s dead I saw him an hour ago”
“he was killed in the garden I have to get to Leila” *and find a way to tell Zan* she thought as she walked down the grand staircase towards the gardens.
“Leila. . .” she whispered as she approached. The small brunette looked up tears spilling form her deep chocolate colored eyes “I . . . I … Don’t know what happened”
“its okay it wasn’t your fault lets get you back inside the palace. Adrian!” she turned and called as she helped Leila up.
“Yes?”
“take Rath’s body inside immediately Please”
“okay”
“c’mon lets go find Mara” she walked her sister upstairs and into Mara’s study and watched as she ran to her. She wanted to stay and help comfort her but she needed to find Zan now. She walked back downstairs and as she reached the bottom, she saw her brother. “Zan!” she called
“what Vilondra?” he asked
“I don’t know how to say this but . . . Rath is . . . Dead”
“No it cant be” he started walking quickly away form her but she knew where he was going, To confirm what she was saying as true, to see his brothers body. She turned to go back to her sisters and what she saw chilled her.
“Hello your highness” he said coolly
“Nicholas” his name escaped her lips as nothing more than a whisper “what in the hell are you doing here?”
“Let’s just say Princess I have a job to do,” he laughed icily as he walked towards her until he was mere inches away.
“No” was all that escaped her lips as he plunged the dagger into her heart.
Isabel sat straight up in bed breathing hard, her heart was pounding. She jumped out of bed, walked in to her bathroom and splashed her face with water* it was just a dream Isabel* she told herself

“you guys; I still don’t understand how you can be so calm about this. I mean what if something happens. . .” Maria trailed off .They had just settled themselves in her room.
“Like what?” Liz asked, “Ria it is seriously not like we have little antennae or something. No one is going to investigate us or try to experiment on us. They have no reason its not as if we are open with our powers. We don’t even use them. So you can’t even use that as an excuse” Liz said rationally
“Ya know Ria” Alex said nodding “she kinda has a point”
“I know Alex I’m just worried that’s all. I have this feeling I can’t explain it. Part of me is excited and the other part is well worried the end of the world is coming or the end of ours at least”
“Ria I have the same feeling, well except the end of the world part. I think this is going to be good for us I mean it is the alien capital of the world right maybe we can even find something out about who we are”
Alex glanced between his sisters who were both looking at him like they were looking for confirmation and the feeling was mutual
“look” he said “I have a feeling but I’m not saying its good or bad but maybe Liz is right and we all know that moving right before senior year sucks but well Ria shit happens and we just have to deal.”
“I know, you guys are right you know a fresh start might be a good thing anyway and Liz is right maybe we can find something out”

Michael had found Max a job at the UFO center and as they were walking out Michael looked across the street and saw the final touches being put on a new diner. It was a spaceship being hoisted and attached to the building as it had crashed into it. The new restaurant was called the Crashdown.
“ Wow can this town get anymore crazy?” Michael asked Max
“I don’t think so I mean we officially have an alien themed everything” he replied
“true” Michael shook his head “come on Maxwell lets go”
When Michael walked through the front door he was met with a sight he was not used to, Isabel lying on the couch . . . crying. He softly waked over to her “Is ?” he said as he touched her arm her eyes shot open and when she saw that it was Michael she jumped up and wrapped her arms around his neck
“oh my god Michael” she said softly
“Is what’s going on? What happened?” she didn’t answer him “Isabel Amanda Evans tell me what happened,” he demanded as Max walked through the door.
“Michael, Is, what going on?” he asked and Michael just shrugged in response.
“She won’t tell me Maxwell. Isabel you have to tell us what happened” he looked down at his sister .she looked so small and scared ‘Isabel” he prodded her gently
“I had a nightmare” she said so quietly they almost didn’t hear her
“a nightmare” Michael said “what kind?”
“The kind where I watch you die and then get killed myself”
“what do you mean?” Max asked,
“Just what I said. You know that dream Michael had. Well I saw it. I saw the girl she was like my sister and after I told Zan, who was you Max I swear, I turned and some guy named Nicholas killed me ,dagger to the heart, I remember every detail of that dream and I see it every time I try to sleep it all comes back “. Max could clearly see that his sister was terrified and that in turn scared him, Isabel was never scared, never.
“Its okay we are here Is and it was only a dream it can’t hurt you” Michael in an attempt to calm her down.
“But Michael it felt so real”
“I know it did Is but you can’t let it scare you like that “he told her
“your right I was overreacting” she said as she put her ice princess facade back in place.

Liz was in her room packing up all of her stuff to be sent to Roswell. She still couldn’t believe that she was moving in 2 days. she had spent her whole life in this town and now she was leaving but she felt good about leaving almost like it was time like there was something waiting for her *well* she thought to herself *we’ll just have to go and see* just then Alex and Maria bounced in.
“Hey Chica you almost done ?”
“yeah Ri almost” Alex grabbed her journal and threw it in the box with the rest of her books
“don’t wanna forget that one “ he said as he laid down on her bed
“Alex” She said annoyed “don’t you have packing of your own to do” she carefully extracted the leather bound book form the box placing it back on her night stand.
“nope I’m all done sent the last of my computer stuff today” he said triumphantly
“alright then” Liz said closing her last box “ well now I’m done too and I’m starving anybody wanna go to lunch”
“ yeah I’ll just go ask mom if we can borrow the Jetta”
“ okay so Lizzy where do you wanna go”
“ I don’t know Alex um why don’t we go to Lucia’s one last time”
“hey sounds good to me’ he smiled
They walked down the stairs and just as they reached the bottom, they heard the loud blaring sound of the jetta’s horn.
“C’mon guys I’m starving,” she yelled </center>

“Okay guys we’re here!” Jeff Parker announced as he pulled into the Crashdown
“Um dad” Maria said
“yeah Ri?”
“You bought this place?!”
“Yes Maria and the apartment is right above it” he said seriously
“it is ?” Liz asked
“Yeah Everything is already up there why don’t you two go up and have a look around and then you can go over to the Whitman’s ” Nancy said
“Okay mom” the sisters said. They walked into the front of the restaurant.
“Wow its really cheesy in here Lizzy” Maria said laughing
“I can see that Ri but thank you for pointing it out anyway” Liz said sarcastically
“ha ha very funny Liz”
“well lets go on upstairs” Liz said
“Okay” they walked through the back and upstairs
“well at least the apartment isn’t the same as downstairs “ Maria joked
“ I know really that would have been bad. Well lets go see our rooms” They walked down the hall to find 2 doors with bows on them Maria’s was a deep blue and Liz’s was a deep red
“You’d think they thought making us move was a gift” Liz laughed
“Well I guess we should open them then”
The sisters pulled their respective bows off and entered their room, both were shocked with what they saw. Liz’s bedroom was a deep red with gold accents her canopy bed was adjacent to a window that led out onto a small balcony it was just like her room back home she found her closet but there was another door she went to opened it and found it led to a double bathroom she walked through and saw her sisters room its setup was basically the same except maria didn’t have a balcony and her room was a deep blue with green accents
“Wow “ liz said “These rooms are so beautiful”
“ Yeah they really are you know mom must have done them I mean they are soo us “
Maria agreed .
“Well It looks like everything is already unpacked for us so um why don’t we head over to Alex’s” Liz suggested
“Sounds good” They headed down stairs and asked to borrow the Jetta to drive over Alex’s. just as they were getting into the car Maria turned and saw a dark haired boy *wow* she thought to herself just looking at him she felt the breath get knocked out of her.
“Maria!” Liz said to try and snap her sister out of her daze “Maria!!”
“ wha . . What”
“Can We Go Now ?”
“Oh Yeah “ she climbed in the car and they started off. After a few minutes of driving they finally arrives at Alex’s. They walked up the steps side by side and knocked on the door. After what seemed like eternity Mrs. Whitman answered the door.
“Why hello girls. Alex is upstairs go on in” she smiled warmly at the girls as they walked up the stairs. Liz knocked briefly and entered.
“hey Lizzy, Ria.” he said without turning
“What cha doing?” Maria asked
“Nothing much just playing around. so you guys are all unpacked and everything?”
“ yeah our mom must have come up earlier and painted our rooms or something and all of our stuff was already unpacked so were all set” liz said smiling all of a sudden Liz’s cell started ringing. Alex started singing along to the ring while Liz rummaged through her purse in search of her phone.
“ We are family” he sang
“Alex shut up” maria teased
“what my voice isn’t good enough for you” he asked feigning hurt Maria just laughed in response. Finally Liz found her cell
“Both of you can be quiet now. . . Hey Mom.”
“You have to come home now”
“what Why ?”
“your father wants to have dinner as a family as our first night and he wants you to be well rested to start interviews tomorrow the opening is in a week so grab Maria and head home kay ?”
“Okay sure mom We’ll Be there in Five” Liz sighed “C’mon Ria We have To Go Home Dad Wants A family dinner and We Have To Be Well Rested for tomorrow”
“Why whats Tomorrow” Alex asked
“We’re starting Interviews” Maria said
“Oh well Have Fun with that” he grinned

She was walking through the palace searching for her husband when she stumbled upon Vilondra’s body “oh my god no” she had to find Zan she called to him through their connection when he didn’t answer she began to worry she quickly turned and saw Adrian coming towards her “ Adrian No” she whispered but he didn’t listen he just went to his wife’s body and picked her up and like a zombie started to walk away with her .
“Mara?”
“Leila what is it”
“ I know where Zan is”
“ please take me to him”
“ follow me” Leila quickly turned and started walking *she’s taking me to the lab . . Why is Zan in the lab?” she asked herself when she saw him he immediately ran into his arms “Zan what are we doing”
“the palace is Under siege Mara Soon we Are All going to be dead but Keenan has come up with a plan
Maria was being shaken awake by her father “maria c’mon honey its time to wake up”
“ wha. . .Oh Okay dad . Ill be down in a minute “
“kay Ri Wake Lizzy up for me would you”
“Sure dad”

Max Couldn’t get the girl across the street out of his mind, she was all he could think about.
“Maxwell” Michael said annoyed that he woke him up early and wasn’t speaking
“oh yeah Michael um you know how you have to get a job once the emancipation goes through?”
“Yes Max I’m am perfectly aware of the conditions”
“Well I got you a interview at that knew restaurant as a cook the one across form the UFO center”
“Max I said I was on it” michael said annoyed again
“Michael I know but it’s the only place in town that hiring so just go the interview is today a twelve o’clock”
“okay Maxwell you wanna drive me over there when you head in to the center”
“sure no problem why don’t you go upstairs and get ready and we can head over”
An hour later max was dropping Michael off at the Crashdown café as he walked in Michael was overwhelmed by an unexplainable feeling he tried to shake it off but it was there in the back of his mind . He quickly walked to the front counter and tried to get the attention of a young blonde girl “Excuse me”
“ Can I help you” the young woman said as she turned around
“ yes my name is Michael Guerin I have a interview with Jeff parker” just at that moment michael swung his head and looked in though the kitchen. He saw a dark haired girl he couldn’t explain it but he felt like his breath was knocked out of him he wanted so badly to go to her *Guerin get a grip you don’t even know her* but still the feeling was in the back of his mind nagging at him
“ oh okay just one minute.” she turned “ dad your 12 o’clock is here!”
“okay Send him in Maria “
“ follow me please” he followed her into the back office

“Well Michael you seem to be a hard worker and from what you’ve shown me on the grill you wont poison our customers either so you’ve got the job. why don’t you come in the other room and meet my daughters you’ll be working with them after all”

“No Problem Michael and please, call me Jeff. Liz ,Maria would you come in here for a moment ?” Jeff called
“what dad” Maria said as she walked in cleaning a sugar dispenser
“Yeah Dad” Liz said walking in from the break room
“This is Michael Guerin he’s one of our new cooks why don’t you three get acquainted I have to run out ” Liz looked up as her father left and felt it hard to breathe. She could not explain the feelings that consumed her as she looked into his eyes…they seemed so familiar. Michael knew that face…those eyes. He would spend hours drawing, sketching, and painting the beautiful features of her face down to the very last strand of hair. Time seemed to stop as they stood there staring at each other. The moment was ruined when Maria cleared her throat.
“Hi” she said Brightly “Im Maria and this is my sister Liz” Michael nodded blankly at Maria not taking his eyes off the small brunette. “Liz!” she called her sister snapped out of her daze and looked at her sister
“ what” she said blushing
“um “ Michael said realizing they’d just been staring at each other “ I have to go I’ll see you guys on Friday okay”
“okay” Liz said softly she felt weak as he walked out the door like she wasn’t complete anymore
* get a grip Guerin* michael thought to himself he felt weird now that he was away from Liz. Michael shook his head *she’s just a girl* he thought but something in his head said she wasn’t just any girl.</center>

PART FOUR
Maria was bored out of her mind Liz had just gone off on one of the mindless walks she taken to taking and Alex, she didn’t even know where he was and she was alone in her room. the restaurant didn’t open till tomorrow so it wasn’t like she could go work. She looked out the window the UFO center Sight was twinkling in all its neon-ness “well I live here now I might as well see the sights” she said to herself she sighed grabbed her purse and walked downstairs and out the front door she entered the museum and started to looking around she wasn’t really watching where she was going and she walked straight into a young man causing them both to land on the floor. The young man stood up quickly and was now standing over a very embarrassed Maria.
“are you alright miss I am so sorry” a deep voice asked her
When she looked up it was like it was like nothing she had ever felt before looking up into his amber eyes something so familiar layed there. Max had never wanted to kiss anyone so badly in his life as he did right then. he was drawn to her. Time felt suspended as they stood there.
“is everything alright here” Max’s boss Brody asked as he saw Maria on the floor knocking them out of their daze.
“oh yes” maria answered standing up “ I wasn’t watching where I was going and walked right in to” she turned to look at max as if silently asking for his name
“ Max” he supplied
“Max” she repeated more for her own benefit then Brodys’. she liked the way his name fell from her lips. She smiled to herself.
“Oh okay if everyone is alright” brody said as he started walking away maria turned to face max
“ Well you know my name whats yours” max asked
“ Maria , Maria Parker.” she smiled at him
“ I know we just met Maria” he said testing her name out “but is there any chance you would like to have dinner with me tomorrow night ?”
“ I Would love To Max but I have to work “ she said sincerely “ my father owns that diner across the street and we open tomorrow but if you want to come over after you get off work . . . “
“ well I get off at ten”
“ that’s great just come over and I can get us something to eat from the diner”
“okay sound great” he flashed her a smile
“okay then “she said smiling back “well see you tomorrow max”

*You know what screw pam troy she doesn’t dictate who I or who I don’t go out with * but she still wasn’t moving towards him then it hit her but it was impossible *im not nervous* she thought *hes just a guy now go over there and talk to him * she told herself she finally found her legs moving in his direction
She stopped at his table “hi” she said almost shyly.
Alex Looked up *holy shit* he thought to himself. she had to be the most beautifull girl he had ever seen. her long blonde hair was left down cascading down her shoulders. she was wearing a light pink t-shirt that barely covered her pierced navel and a pair of low riding black hip huggers. He looked around and then back to Isabel “me ?” he asked pointing to himself
Isabel laughed “yes you silly mind if I sit?” she asked
“no not at all” he stood and pulled the chair out for her
She was shocked and impressed she didn’t think anyone had done that for her in her life she gave him a big smile
“Im Isabel Evans” she said still smiling
“ Alex, Alex Whitman.”
“so are you new in town?” she asked realizing she’d never actually seen him before
“yeah actually I just moved here with my parents it an interesting little town”
“ hahaha yeah not if you’ve lived here your entire life it get old after awhile “she said a sadness clearly falling over her “especially all the alien stuff and the tourists” she said with a half smile
Alex found himself wishing he knew a way to cheer her up
“ so do you want to maybe do something or just sit here in the food court” he joked
Her Smile was back in full force” I would love too”
Just then her cell rang “hold on just one minute”
“Max this better be important”
“it is mom wants you home now something about a meeting with someone in the morning” he said
“damn it I forgot” she said annoyed “ill be there in a minute” she turned to alex
“Max?” he asked
“ is My Brother” she answered smiling at his jealousy “ I am really sorry alex my mom want me home I have a meeting in the morning for college early admissions but. .” she said scribbling on a small piece of paper “ call me tomorrow and we’ll do something okay” she handed him the number. “Talk to you tomorrow” she said walking out to the jeep

Liz was walking through a park. She taken to walking around after dark. As if she was looking for something. she’d been walking around for about half an hour when she sat down at a gazebo. she been dreaming of him more frequently like everytime she closed her eyes she could see him his appearance would change one time his hair would be short the next it would be long his clothes would change form military uniform to jeans and a metallica t-shirt.
She smiled to herself.
“Michael?” she called out
“how’d you know it was me “ he asked continuing to walk towards her
She laughed “ call it woman’s intuition”
“Okay” he reached for her hand
And as soon as they touch

a man and a small brunette sneaking out of a palace hiding form the guards

The flashes were gone almost as quickly as they came. Michael and Liz found themselves on top of each other on the ground. Liz realizing that she was laying fully on top of michael rolled off of him quickly
“Liz?” he whispered tentatively
“Michael what just happened?” liz was scared she’d never shared flashes with anyone other than maria and alex . And they were simple things memories of their life that the others needed to know but in these flashes she saw herself and michael , and maria and alex as well as two others she didn’t recognize. They felt like memories but they couldn’t t be they were visions of places she had never been before. The Flashes reminded her of her dreams. she was so confused
“ liz . . .” Michael didn’t know what to say he himself had never shared flashes with anyone but then he’d never exactly been in tune with his powers. He’d listened to max and Isabel talk about them . But how was liz bringing these flashes out of him. She was only human. . wasn’t she? “ liz I don’t know what going on but . . “
“ I think I know . . “ she interrupted him “ but im not sure how you fit into it unless, but you cant possibly. . .” she trailed off
“ liz ? Unless I what ?” Michael asked her
“ Michael” she said seriously “im not exactly from around here”
He laughed “I know liz your from Las Crusces”
“ No Michael” her expression slightly pained “ I mean im not from earth” she cringed after shed said it knowing the reaction it would bring it sounded ridiculous even to her but when she didn’t hear his laughter she opened her eyes to see him just staring at her and almost unbelieving look on his face
“you mean you’re an alien?” a serious expression gracing his features
Liz laughed at how funny it sounded and then looked at michael she could tell he was waiting for an answer shed gotten this far and she trusted him “we prefer the term *not of this earth*” she said taking his hand
“your serious?” he asked quietly after a few minutes
“ yes michael” she said starting to drop his hand
But michael didn’t let her go he tightened his grip on her hand and pulled her in to his arms and whispered in her ear “ im not from around here either”

Part Five
Liz turned to face him Never letting go of his hand .
“Michael ? ”
He just looked at her unsure of what to say.
“Michael have you ever had anything like those flashes before?” she asked
“not quite like that but they’re similar to these dreams I’ve been having” She was sitting in between his legs and had turned to face him. He had been playing with the small ring on her middle finger but suddenly he focused in on her face. “you’re the girl from my dream” he said as if he just realized that little fact.
“ Michael what are you talking about? ” an mix of confusion and recognition filling her deep chocolate brown eyes. His eyes, that deep soulful hazel, his hands , gentle but strong, and the way he made her feel suddenly it all clicked “ Rath” she whispered looking up at him
“ what did you call me?”
“ Rath” she said a little louder“ your not the only one who has been having weird dreams. Michael tell me what you see?” she asked him gently
“ I’ve been having this dream every night. Now that I think about it, it got clearer after you arrived. Im in a garden with you and we‘re . . . “ he trailed off a twinge embarrassment running through him. Liz just looked at him with a knowing smile.
“ we were kissing . .” she said and poked him teasingly to get him to start talking again
“ and then boom out of no where im on the ground bleeding to death” Liz flinched she could still see it and it still hurt and scared her. Michael pulled her close realizing that how what he had said affected her.
“ im sorry Liz I didn’t mean for it to come out like that” he said softly to her
“I know Michael” she said looking up at him and giving him a small smile “I just remember that dream so clearly it felt so real”
“real. . . who said that to me before?”
“Michael what are you talking about” she turned do she could face him again
“Isabel she had a dream one that scared her she kept telling me how real it felt but I just told her it was a dream”
“ Michael who is Isabel”
“ my sister, well sort of, not really ,not legally, its kind of hard to explain”
“Michael” she smirked “your rambling”
“ Michael is Isabel like us?”
“what yeah me her and Max its been the three of us since well since we broke out of the pods”
Liz smiled “ kind of like me Maria and Alex”
“so wait there are six of us?”
“apparently” just the Liz’s cell phone went off after a minute of fishing around in her purse she pulled the phone out and answered
“ hello”
“Liz Omigod you will not believe what happened to me tonight” Maria squeaked
“um Maria im kinda in the middle of something important” Liz managed to say before her sister began to ramble incomprehensibly fast
“oh” she said sounding disappointed” well get home now I have to talk to you about it or ill explode”
“what about Alex?”
“he is off in his own little world dreaming about some girl oh and mom and dad called they are on their way home and they will flip if your not Here when they get back”
“ what why didn’t you say that in the first place Ria okay ill be there in a minute” she turned to Michael “ I have to get home my parents are on their way home”
“oh okay” he stood up “ here ill walk you its too late for you to be alone out here” he held out his hand to help her up they started walking Michael never dropping Liz’s hand they stopped when they reached the back entrance of the crash down their walk over had been silent both thinking about the information they had discovered. when they stopped Liz looked up at Michael
“ I was thinking maybe the six of us should get together and um talk about this you know because maybe you I and Isabel aren’t the only ones having these dreams after all and I think it’s a good Idea for us to get to now each other” Liz said quickly
Michael smiled down at her “ yeah that’s a brilliant idea ill talk to Max and Is”
“okay well I have to go or im going to be grounded for um like my entire life so ill see you tomorrow at work “
“ah the joys of having parents” he laughed “Okay ill see you tomorrow”
Michael started walking backwards out of the alley
“Michael what are you doing?”
“making sure I see you get in the house okay”
Liz could fell her whole body warm at Michael’s protectiveness she smiled and laughed. She then turned and opened the door she waved good bye as she waked in the door only to be greeted by a energetic Maria
“your finally home oh my god I have the most fantastic news”
“ Maria as fascinating as that is I am almost positive that this story requires ice cream pajamas and my bed” Maria and Liz had never had boyfriends being as they were Different but they would stay up late at night eat ice cream and talk about their latest crushes and sometimes Alex would join it made them feel ,well, human . After they gathered the supplies both Liz and Maria jumped on Liz’s bed. Liz sat sequestered in her pillows her back being supported by her head board arms draped loosely around her leg Maria sat Indian style in the middle of the bed spreading the ice cream out in front of her. Maria grabbed her New York Super Fudge Chunk as Liz opened her vanilla caramel fudge
“ okay now you wont believe what happened tonight” Maria said after swallowing.
“ I was bored cuz you were out and Alex was MIA anyway so I went over to the UFO Center across the street right” she paused and looked at Liz quickly completely missing the dreamy look on her face “ right so im walking around and I bump in to this guy knocking both of us over and before I knew it he was standing above me making sure I was okay and I looked up at him and Liz I swear he had the most gorgeous eyes I had ever seen and then the manager came over and interrupted us. . . “ Liz was only half listening to Maria she was too busy thinking about Michael “ and then he asked me out and I said yes !!” Maria giggle with happiness. That snapped Liz out of her reverie
“ you what ?!”
“I said I go out with him well actually hes coming to the crash” she said dreamily
“Maria Grace Parker ! Have you lost your mind ? We agreed all of us you me Alex we cannot be with humans I cant believe you agreed Maria you know this could put us endanger you can not go out with him”
“Liz what I s wrong with you its just a date we’re not getting married and besides who the hell do you think you are telling me what to do. I heard you ya know out there laughing and talking yeah so don’t you dare tell me I cant go out with Max but you can go fraternize with anyone you wish I wont take it im not a little girl anymore Liz and its not like the first words out of my mouth are gonna be oh yeah Max guess what im an alien” Maria was fuming
“Maria Michael is different” Liz started to say but Maria cut her off
“Max is different too “ she insisted
“Ria let me finish. . . as I was saying Michael is different like us Maria there are three others out there and Michael is one of them”
“how do you know that Liz “ Maria asked after a minute
“because I. .we both got flashes and we started talking and he has been having the exact same dream I have been well up to a point. Maria “ Liz said softly kneeling down in front of her sister “ he is connected to us I can feel it.
“How can you be sure of them Liz? Have you met them ?”
“no Ria but we will soon Michael and I think it’s a good idea for the six of us to get together”
“Liz it could be a trap”
“Maria calm down its not a trap you trust me and I trust him okay believe me we are gonna be okay. Ria I promise”
“ okay” she gave Liz a small smile “ should we call Alex?”
“not right now its late well tell him tomorrow when he stops by the crash like we both know he will” she laughed
“okay” Maria stood and gave her sister a quick hug “ do you know when this meeting is supposed to happen”
“no Michael said he’d talk to Max and Isabel and tell me tomorrow at work”
“ wait Michael the cook the one dad just hired that you were drooling all over the other day?”
“that would be the one and hey! I was not drooling”
“Yeah Liz you were” Ria giggled
“ Girls! Were Home” Nancy parker yelled as she walked through the door”
“ hi Mom and dad” they yelled and then returned to their conversation
“ we can talk more about this tomorrow”
“ right yeah Im exhausted Night Ri” Liz said the her sister as she walked through their joint bathroom
“night Lizzy” Maria called back

After leaving Liz Michael headed over to Max’s. He Knocked on Max’s window
“What do you want Michael?” Max asked opening his window letting Michael in.
“ you are never going to believe this Maxwell where’s Isabel ?”
“ in her room Michael what is going on?”
“ go get her we have to talk”
“ Michael”
“Max stop being a pain in the ass and just go get her”
“Michael chill” Max walked over to his door and quickly walked over to Isabel ’s room
“ Is Michael is here he need to talk to us “
“Not now Max im trying to sleep”
“ Isabel” Michael said having followed Max “ you can sleep later now get you princess ass out here this is important” Max just looked at Michael as Isabel threw open her door
“excuse you Michael” she said incredulously
“ C’mon Lets go” he said Grabbing her hand and pulling her in to Max’s room . Max Following Behind them shut the door and sat on the bed across from Michael
“okay Michael what was so important that you couldn’t wait un till morning?” Isabel asked impatiently
“ I don’t know exactly how to say this now but um I found other people that are like us”
Isabel’s eyes widened in shock and disbelief
“Michael what in the hell are you talking about” Max asked
“ Maxwell Listen to me I know I’ve done some pretty stupid things and made some huge mistakes but this girl shes the real thing Max we even had flashes.”
“Michael that’s imp. . “ Max started to say but Isabel cut him off
“you got flashes? What did you see?”
“ um I saw me and her but we did look like us I mean we were someplace I never saw before. And then I was at a funeral it was like royalty and you two were there but you looked different and there were these two other people there and then we you guys and me and Liz and those other two people we at like this wedding and I think I was the one getting married. I mean Max I wasn’t sure exactly what was going on but she told me Max and shes been having the same dream I have and I mean she looks just like the girl”
“Okay Michael slow down what else did she tell you?” Max asked
“ she told me that it had always been her, her sister maria and Alex. And we talked about the dreams and then she had to get home cuz her parents would flip out if she was still out when they got home oh and we both think it would be a really great idea for the 6 of us to get together and um talk about the whole thing I think we should do it tonight. Especially since Isabel had a weird dream too”
“okay you know what Michael i think we all need to sleep on what happened tonight and well talk about it in the morning” Max said diplomatically .
“ right I have to start work tomorrow too” Michael said as if he just remembered
“ okay then we will talk about it tomorrow” Isabel said getting up off Max’s bed and walking towards the door “ night guys”
“ Night Is” they replied Michael got up an crawled back through the window and Max walked over to shut it

Liz tossed and turned in her bed she could quite fall asleep. After she landed on her stomach she stared out her window and she could see the stars before she knew it she was asleep
She entered the ballroom and looked around it was more beautiful than she thought. It had high arched ceilings and enormous white pillars. It had a vast white marble floor and was filled with people. She began to walk around careful to not trip over her gown.
She stopped at the grand staircase and looked up. Her breath caught in her throat and her heart started to hammer in her chest. He was walking in front of the royals, tall and broad shouldered. His body was hugged by a fitted military uniform. She studied his face it looked so young, un-weathered. His eyes a gorgeous shade of hazel. He stopped at the bottom of the staircase. Seeing her, he bowed his head while never breaking eye contact and was quickly whisked off to stand by his father as the Prince and Princess descended the staircase. They were making the introductions she knew from his look and the way his eyes were following her that he would come to her and she couldn’t wait
Liz suddenly woke up and looked at her clock it read 3:15 “ that sucks” she grumbled as she repositioned her body and closed her eyes in an attempt to get back to her dream

The introductions had been made he could mingle now as they called it. He had seen her slip out into the gardens. He walked quickly through the large French doors. She was sitting on the bench in front of the large fountain He approached her slowly and studied her as he strode towards her . Her long dark hair was curled and pilled elegantly on to of her head small barrettes holding it in place the moon light illuminating her face her eyes large and round were a deep chocolate brown color and her face held innocence
“ what is a beautiful woman such as your self doing out here all alone” his deep voice asked her quietly
She blushed at his remark and stood “its just so crowded in there” she said still blushing
“ I know what you mean” he said with his trademark smirk
She turned to face the fountain and he came to stand directly behind her.
“ im Rath” he whispered to her
“ I know” she said” im Leila”
“Well it is a pleasure to meet you Leila” he said
She turned so she was facing him and looked up at him he was looking down at her lips they looked so soft and sweet she reached up and stroked his cheek as he lowered his head and softly took her lips with his. She moved to deepen the kiss.
Michael woke up as he rolled over in his sleep a smile on his face

Max had been asleep before Michael had come and now he couldn’t fall back to sleep
He just wanted to get back to his dream, back to her, he could remember everything so clearly.
He had watched as Rath walked out into the gardens after a young woman and laughed inwardly *well maybe Rath wont grow old alone like he’s always said* he thought to himself. Just then a glimpse of blonde caught his eye and he turned
and widened at what he saw she was the most beautiful woman he had ever seen her long blonde hair was down with small pieces held back with a jeweled clip. She wore a floor length emeraled green dress which brought out her captivating green eyes. She was standing by the ice sculpture talking vivaciously to another young woman. Her spirt intrigued him. He simply had to dance with her .
Max snapped back to the present and tried to get comfortable he just wanted to get back to sleep

She had been watching him out of the corner of her eye when she had realized that the prince of Antar was that gorgeous she had wished she had spent more time on the planet. He had short dark hair and eyes that were the most beautiful shade of amber she had ever seen. She turned her attention back to her friend for a moment and suddenly he was there clearing his throat she turned and her eyes widened
“may I have this dance” he said extending his hand a small smirk on his face
“of course your highness” she said curtseying deeply they began to dance around the room she was immediately enthralled with him she couldn’t explain it.
“I’m Zan” he whispered to her
“I know” she laughed “I’m Mara” she said smiling at him
He pulled her tightly against him she giggled they continued to talk and laugh and dance through several songs. He was wonderful smart and funny she adored her time with him and never wanted it to end. They stopped for a moment and met a slightly scowling king.
“your Highness” she said curtsying deeply and bowing her head
“father” Zan said
“your mother thinks its time that you share you time with some other girls son” he said
“does she?” he said she could feel his anger begin to rise
“Don’t argue son just do it was nice to meet you” he said turning to her
“I am sorry” Zan said bowing to her “I will see you later on ?” he asked hope in his voice
“anytime you wish You highness” she said a full blown smile on her face blushing inwardly at the fact that he wanted to spend more time with her.
Maria didn’t move in her sleep she just looked peaceful never waking

Isabel sighed in her sleep as she turned over
Vilondra had seen the interaction between her father and brother she was happy that he had finally found someone he liked maybe it would bring an end to all of these irritating balls. She turned her attention back to one of the men in her fathers cabinet
She had seen him a few minutes ago and had been watching him ever since he was talking animatedly to a bunch of other men on her fathers court and just watching was entertaining her. While trying to explain something he made a funny face and she had laughed and he had heard her. As his head spun towards her she took on a shy look and a deep red blush crept upon her cheek he excused himself from the group and started walking towards her. He sat down next to her and introduced himself.
“I’m Adrian” he said
“Vilondra” she said smiling
She couldn’t explain it just being around him made her happy
“does the princess wish to dance?” he asked her a goofy grin on his face
“the princes would love to” she smiled they began to dance and he twirled her around laughing and dancing the two were having a great time.
As a new song started he pulled her close swaying slowly to the music she warmed at his closeness not caring about anything else on the planet at that moment .

As they swayed to the music they talked. He did everything he could to make her laugh or even just smile and was rewarded each time. They danced for what seemed like hours and over her shoulder Adrian saw something odd. The one of the king’s advisors ,Nicholas, was in a corner talking to man he had never seen before. He got an uneasy feeling that settled in his stomach he decided to talk to Nicholas about it tomorrow but for right now he would enjoy the company of the princess.
