Summary: Max and Liz both are in horrible relationships. When they meet sparks fly instantly. Can this turn into true love or is it just a disaster waiting to happen? Everyone's a sophomores at UNM.

Chapter 1

Maxwell Phillip Evans sat at his kitchen table. Tons of books, papers and broken pencils littered the table and the floor around it. He sat in front of his lap top, fiercely typing, his brow creased in consentration.

Only a week into his sophomore year at UNM, he already had two papers due at the end of the week and a ton of work to do in calculus.

At nineteen Max came right out of high school and landed a job at a local museum. He spent his enire summer working hard to move into his new dorm room, eager to get away from his contolling, hot headed father.

His father was always pressuring Max to go to law school and join him at his firm. But Max always refused and because of that, it caused a major dent in their relationship.

Phillip Evans wasn't what you would call the world's greatest father. He was a strict person who'd do anything to better himself, including blackmailing his own son.

His phone rang and he reached across the table to the phone with one hand, while typing with the other.

"Hello?" He said once he retrieved the phone. He placed it between his shoulder and ear so that he could continue typing.

"Just calling to check up on things." A deep, cold voice said, putting a heavy emphasis on 'things'.

'Well speak of the devil' He thought.

"Hello to you to dad. I'm fine and how are you?" He said sarcastically as he got up to refill his mug with coffee.

"Don't talk to me that way Maxwell!" He bellowed. "Have you no respect for your father?"

'No. Not really' He wanted to say.

"That I do father dearest." He said instead in a British accent. He loved pushing his father to the limit.

"That's the type of shit that'll get you no where Maxwell."

Max could just picture the steam coming out of his fathers ears. He fought to hide his smile as he leaned against the kitchen counter, sipping on his coffee.

"If you're wondering, like I know you are, yes I'm still with Tess. And yes I'm treating her well."

"Good."

Just as if on cue, Tess came strolling through the door.

"Hi Maxie." She cooed.

Max raised an eyebrow as she sauntered drunkenly into the kitchen. It was barely five in the afternoon and she was already drunk? Her clothes were a mess. Her shirt was wrinkled and inside out. Her blond curls were mashed crazily to her head. Her lipstick and makeup was smeared all over her face and Max knew that she had been fooling around with another guy. But he didn't care, it wasn't like he loved her anyway.

"Is that Tess I hear?" His father asked.

"Unfortunately." Max sighed.

Tess giggled uncontrollably, her drunken mind thinking that he was joking. She leaned against him, leaning her head up to give him a kiss. He chose that moment to bring his mug to his lips and take a sip.

"Your funny Maxie." She said as she moved away from him and sat at the table. She started to mess with the papers there. Max grabbed her hand, leading her to the couch.

"Max, don't fuck this up for me or I'll pull my funding." He threatened.

Max, sighed. "I know dad, I'm not going to break up with her." He said, staring at the drunken nightmare that was Tess.

Max had actually found her attrative when he first met her. Not that she was ugly now. She was beautiful in fact. Any guy would kill for a girl like Tess. Her silky, blond curls fell just below her shoulders, framing her flawless face. Her crystal blue eyes and her full, pouty lips were sure to turn the head of every guy. And most girls would kill for her curvy figure.

Yes she was beautiful, but Max could have sworn that she was a demon child.

"Damn straight you're not going to break up with her. Now, I have to go. I'll check in later." He hung up with out another thought.

"Yeah. Bye dad. I guess I'll talk to you later. Love you too." He said to the dial tone. He rolled his eyes and sat the phone down, returning back to his work.

How he wished that he could put his father in his place. If he wasn't paying for more than half of his college tuition, Max doubted that he and his father would ever speak.

Tess was another reason Max resented his father. Tess's father was a millionare, on his way to becoming a billionare. Mr. harding is a client of Phillip's. And whatever Mr. harding's daughter wants, she gets. And unfortunately, Tess wanted Max. So in order to keep his biggest client, Phillip blackmailed Max into being with Tess. If she complained about Max or he broke up with her and it wasn't mutual, then Max wouldn't be able to afford school.

So in order to go to college, he had to put up with Tess's bratty ways, just until he graduated and got a real job.

Or until he strangled her.

But that was illegal, so he had to go with the former.

"Maxie...." Tess whined from the couch

"Yes Tess." He said, trying desperately to hide his irritation.

"Aren't you going to talk to me." She said with a pout.

"I have work to do." He said, not taking his eyes off the screen.

She stood and stumbled to him, sitting in his lap. She leaned in and nibbled on his neck.

"Tess....."

"Yes Maxie?" She cooed.

He placed his hands on her shoulders and pushed her away. "Look. I... have... to... study. Do.... you.... understand?" He said slowly.

She looked bewildered for a while before giggling and slapping his chest lightly. "Maxie, come on. Let's have some fun." She squeaked as she grabbed his hand and tried to pull him to his feet.

'Was she even listening to anything I said or is she really that mentally stupid?'

Pouting when he resisted, she stomped her foot and crossed her arms in front of her chest. "You always got your nose in that damned lap top and not paying me any attention!!" Max turned back to the lap top.

"I spent all last week with you. I have to work now."

"Fine Maxie!!" She stomped over to the couch, reaching for her purse and pulling out her cell phone. "Do what you want!! I'll just make a little phone call to your father and see what he has to say about this."

He jumped out of his chair, grabbing the phone out of her hand. "Okay, okay. Just....Just let me work for another hour and then we can do something okay?" He said as he seductively ran his finger across her cheek.

She smirked, knowing she had him wrapped around her little finger. "Okay Maxie. One hour. Then you can take me shopping." She kicked off her shoes and propped her feet on the coffee table, flipping on the television.

Yep. She had him wrapped around her little finger.

Chapter 2

"Elizabeth Parker!!" Maria bellowed from the kitchen, making Liz jump and spill her coffee over her fresh-out-of-the-printer paper.

Muttering a curse and grabbing her paper, she rushed into kitchen.

Maria stalked over to her and held up an empty bottle of grape juice. "Liz, look at this." She said, tapping her foot impatiently.

"Ria I see it, you're holding it like two centimeters from my face." She said as she pushed her hand out of the way and grabbed some paper towels. She dabbed the paper gently, trying to soak up as much of the stain as she could.

"Oh no. It's ruined!" She wailed as the print smudged.

"Hello! Grape juice problem here. I'm out of grape juice!! What are we going to do about this!!" Maria shrieked, waving the empty bottle around.

"Maria. Sweetie, you know I love you, but listen to yourself. It's just grape juice. Besides, we have a bigger problem here." Liz said, gesturing to her paper.

"So. Just print out another copy."

"I'm out of paper." She moaned as she rubbed fiercely at the paper that was now a soggy brown mess. She turned to Maria and wrapped her arm around her shoulder, putting on her best smile. "Maria, my love. Would you do me the biggest favor and run to the store and get me a pack of paper?"

"Not until you admit that you drunk my grape juice." She said, crossing her arms in front of her chest.

"I didn't do it. Kyle must have done it." She grabbed the bottle and threw it in the trash along with her ruined paper.

Maria threw her hands in the air. "Whoa, whoa, whoa. Did I sense a little bitterness when you said his name?"

Liz turned away from her. "Yes you did, but I don't want to talk about it. Now are you going to get the paper or not?"

"Okay." She turned around and opened the freezer, retrieving two boxes of ice cream. A box of vanilla for Liz and a box of strawberry for herself.

"Maria, I really don't feel like doing this right now." She said as she watched her grab two of the biggest spoons they had. She pulled Liz into the the living room and sat on the couch.

"What do he do this time?" She asked, holding out the vanilla for her.

Unable to resist the ice cream, Liz grabbed the box from her and slumped down on the couch. She could never deny vanilla ice cream and she wasn't about to start now.

"The bastard stood me up again. I was waiting outside the movie theater for an hour and he never showed." She said with a mouth full of ice cream.

"Dump his grape juice drinking ass." Maria said without thinking twice.

"What? Maria...."

"Liz, there is no reason for you to be with him. He treats you like crap. You deserve better than him." She said, waving her spoon around.

"But...." She started.

"What did he get you for your birthday last month?" Liz closed her mouth, knowing she was right. "Yeah. He forgot didn't he? And then he promised to take you out to eat and then he stood you up even then. DUMP HIM!! You can do better than that."

"But, he's really sweet sometimes." She said as she twirled her spoon around in her ice cream.

"No one who drinks up my grape juice is sweet." Maria muttered.

Liz rolled her eyes at her friend and took another bite of her ice cream. She knew Maria was right. She should get rid of Kyle, but he really could be sweet sometimes. Like on Valentine's day, he took her to the carnival and won her a huge stuffed bear.

But Liz was just making excuses for Kyle. She knew that she could do much better than him, but the only reason she was with him was because of her mother.

Nancy Parker.

What could she say about her mother that could be said in the presence of children and the elderly?

Not a damn thing.

Nancy was the bitchest of all bitches. And Liz hated to say that about her mother, but it was true. Her mother wanted everything her way and if you didn't do what she wanted, she didn't what anything to do with you.

Liz wanted nothing more than for her parents to be proud of her, and her father was. But her mother would never seem to be satisfied. Every boyfriend Liz had brought home, her mother had ran out. And then she complained that she was never going to get married if she didn't date. But how could she date if her mother was scaring all of the boys away?

But for some reason, her mother really liked Kyle. Not that she blamed her. Kyle could be quite charming when you first meet him and somehow, he'd managed to win her mother over. But now she was pressuring Liz to marry him and Liz knew for certain that Kyle wasn't the one she wanted to spend the rest of her life with. And at nineteen, Liz wasn't ready to think about marriage.

"I'm telling you Liz. Kyle is a first class S.O.B. Do you even love him?" Liz kept quiet, suddenly finding the vanilla ice cream very interesting. "I thought so." Maria stood and took both of their containers back in the freezer.

There was a knock at the door.

"I'll get it." Liz called.

She walked across the small living room and unlocked the door.

"Kyle." She said coldly.

"Hey babe. Miss me." He said slyly as he leaned in to kiss her, but she stepped back.

"Not in the least." She muttered as she walked into the living room. Kyle followed, closing the door behind him.

"Oh Kyle, we were just talking about you." Maria said as she walked out of the kitchen. She plastered a fake smile on her face. "I'm headed to get your paper Liz." She slipped on her shoes and grabbed her keys. Walking to the door, she turned just before she walked out. "Kyle, if you ever drink my grape juice again, you die." She walked out leaving the couple alone.

"Where the hell were you last night?" Liz snapped once Maria was gone.

"What are you talking about baby?" He said as he moved towards her.

She backed away. "You know damn well what I'm talking about! I stood outside the theater for an hour waiting for you! You were supposed to meet me there a eight!"

"No I wasn't. We never talked about that." He said as he plopped down on the couch, propping his feet on the coffee table and turning on the television.

"Yes we did!! You were the one who suggested the damned movie!!" She yelled, pushing his feet off of the table and standing in front of the television.

"Well I decided that I didn't want to see that movie." He said arrogently, motioning her to move out of the way.

Her jaw dropped at his statement. "Oh and while you were deciding this, it never crossed your mind to call and let me know?!?" She shouted, her chest heaving in anger.

He stood and walked up to her. "Whoa. Baby, it's not that big of a deal." He placed his hand on her cheek. "Now what do you say, we head back into the bedroom?"

Liz was now fuming. "Get out." She growled.

"What?"

Walking to the door, she opened it and waited for him to take the hint.

"Whatever. I don't need this shit anyway." He said before struting out the door.

Liz slammed it closed returning to the couch. She wished not the first time that she could find true love.

But what she didn't know was that tomorrow, she was going to get her wish.

Chapter 3

Max walked into the diner, the favorite hang out of the locals, and scanned through the crowd of young college students. He spotted Michael and Alex in a booth in the back and made his way over to them.

"Hey guys." Max said grimly as he slid into the booth next his best friends.

"What's with the face? Tess work her voo doo on you?" Alex questioned.

"No. But I swear if she calls me Maxie one more time, I'll shoot myself." He said as he waved over a waitress. "And don't invite her to my funeral. The theme is to rest in peace and I won't be able to do it if she's around." He said, pointing his finger at them. The waitress came over and he ordered a cheese burger and a cheery coke.

"What'd the gerbil do this this?" Michael asked enthusiastically, ready to bash the blond nuisance.

"She's just being her normal bitchy self." Max said. "I can't believe I actually came close to loving her at one point." He scratched his head as if he was really trying to figure it out. "I must have been high or something, because I just don't know what I saw in her."

"You can always dump her. It's not like you're married." Alex said. He shuddered at the thought of Max marrying Tess. He'd pay money to see that.

"God, I had a visual!! Get it out of my head!!" Max expressed dramatically as he grabbed his head as if he were in pain.

"You're a dumbass Maxwell." Michael chuckled.

Alex puckered his lips, fluttering his eyelashes. "MMMMMaaaaaxie. Carry me across the threshold. Run me a bath. Cook me dinner. Paint my toes." He said in a tone similar to Tess' as he tossed his nonexistant curls over his shoulder.

Michael doubled over in laughter, clutching his stomach as he leaned forward. "Dude, you sound just like her!" He laughed.

"Hey! I draw the line at painting toes. That's just not right." Max exclaimed grimacing at the thought that she might actually ask him to do that one day. But despite that, Max couldn't hide his smile. This is what he loved about hanging out with Alex and Michael. They always managed to make him feel better after an encounter with Tess or his father or the 'Grim Reaper' as Alex likes to call him.

"Relax Max. If you don't want to do it than just tell her you're allergic to nail polish." Michael said as he took a bite of his sub.

"In that case, I'm allergic to a lot of things." He muttered.

Alex gaped at Max in surprise. "You mean you two actually....Ya know. Do the dirty?" He asked as he popped a fry in his mouth.

Max nodded solemly. "I have to. I mean, this is my future I'm talking about. If I don't finish college then what would I do?" He said as he propped his elbows on the table and placed his chin in his hands. "If I don't do it then she'd just complain to my father..."

"The Grim Reaper." Alex interrupted.

"The Grim Reaper, " Max agreed with a slight nod. "and then I won't be able to afford school."

"You could stay with us. Our apartment is big enough. That'll cut down the cost of having to pay for your dorm." Alex offered. Michael nodded in agreement.

"Thanks, but it wouldn't work. I'd still be short on funds for paying my tuition."

"I don't know how you do it Maxwell. I would have shot myself by now if I were you." Michael said, shaking his head. "Not that you should or anything." He rushed to add.

Max rolled his eyes.

The waitress walked up to their table, carrying Max's order. "Here's one cheeseburger and a cherry coke. Anything else?" She asked Max with a bright smile, paying no attention to the other two boys at the table.

"No. Thank you." He smiled in return.

She walked away, but not before giving Max one last look.

"Dude she was so checking you out. Go talk to her." Michael commented once the waitress was out of earshot.

"I'm with Tess." He said as he took a sip of his drink.

"So. She sleeps around, so why shouldn't you?" Alex said.

"It wouldn't feel right. I could never be unfaithful regardless if she is a bitch. Besides, she'd have my ass if she found out."

"Oh and here comes the queen of evil now." Alex mumbled as Tess walked into the cafe.

"Maxie!" She called as she waved frantically.

Max plastered on a small smile, giving her a little wave. She pranced over to them, shooting Michael and Alex a glare before pouting her lips. "Maxie, you were supposed to meet me at your home. I went there, but you weren't there." She whined as she slid in next to Max.

"Obviously." Alex whispered to Michael. Michael chuckled and Tess shot him another glare.

"You two could leave. I have no use you lower people."

Michael was fuming. He would take a lot of shit from Tess, and only because she was his best friend's "girlfriend". But sometimes, he just couldn't hold his tongue.

"You know what Tess? You can take your money and shove it up you...." Alex clamped his hand over Michael's mouth, pulling him out of the booth.

"We'll catch you later Max." Alex said, feeling that it was safe to release Michael from his hold.

Max gave them a pleading look, but Michael just laughed, turning on his heels to leave. Alex laid some money down for the check before following Michael out of the diner.

"What did I tell you about hanging out with those low lifes?" Tess fired once Michael and Alex were gone.

"Tess don't start." He sighed. He took a bite of his burger and sat back as he chewed.

"What? You could do better than that. What would people say if they saw you with...them?" She even had the nerve to shudder.

"You have no right to look down upon them. You're no better than they are. Just because you have money doesn't give you the right to be rude to people for no reason." He snapped.

"I'm just trying to look out for you, Maxie. I don't want you hanging around the wrong crowd." She said sweetly as she reached over to rubbed his thigh.

He grabbed her hand and removed it from his thigh. "Look who's talking. I wasn't the one coming home drunk at five in the afternoon. That's just pitiful Tess."

"I wouldn't have to go out if you paid some attention to me. You're either studying or hanging out with those bums when you need to be paying your girlfriend some attention." She complained.

"You're ridiculous." He muttered, reaching into his pocket and taking out his wallet. Pulling out a few bills for the check, he laid it on the table and stood.

"Where are you going?"

"Any where you're aren't." He replied as he stomped out of the cafe, leaving Tess alone in the booth.
**********
"I'm coming!!!" Liz yelled as she hurried to answer the door. She tied her long wet tresses into a messy bun and opened the front door.

Before she could do anything, Kyle swooped down, pressing his lips to hers in a rough, hard kiss.

"I'm sorry about the other night babe." He said once they pulled apart.

"What?" She stared at him in surprise. Kyle had never apologized for anything in the year that they'd been going together. Just to here the words coming out of his mouth was a huge surprise to her.

"I didn't mean to stand you up. I just got caught up with things and completely forgot." He explained as he walked into the dorm. Liz closed the door behind him.

She waved her hand in the air. "It's ok....wait. So you lied to me yesterday?" She said as she eyed him suspiously, her voice rising.

"No. What are you talking about?" He said innocently.

She placed her hands on her hips. "You told me that you didn't want to see the movie we were supposed to see, and now you're telling me that you got "caught up with things". What exactly were those "things" Kyle?" She asked, placing the invisible qoutation marks in the appropriate places.

"I...was... I was hanging with the guys." He stuttered.

"Bullshit!! Where were you?!"

"What, don't you trust me Lizzie?" He said sweetly.

"Don't fuck with me Kyle!! Where were you!?!" She spoke in an eerily calm voice.

He shrugged his shoulders at sat on the couch, flipping on the television. "What are you going to do? Break up with me?" He said mockingly. "There's no one better than me." He said in all his cockiness.

"You are one arrogent son of a bitch." She muttered, before turning and storming out of the apartment.

Liz swore that if her mother wasn't so hung up on Kyle that she would have thrown his ass in the gutter a long time ago. She charged out of the dorm building, blowing right past a couple of her fellow students who had stopped to greet her.

"Whatever." She grumbled in response.

She couldn't believe that Kyle could just stand there and lie to her like that. And stand there and tell her that there was no one better than him? How could she have not seen what a conceited, asshole he was? And how was it that her mother, out of all the boys she had dated, Kyle was the one that she got along with? All she wanted was to make her mother proud, but she didn't know how long she could do that if it meant being with Kyle.

Liz had loved Kyle at one point. She still loved him. At least she thought she did. But it didn't matter anyway. She couldn't break up with him if she wanted to avoid hearing her mother's nagging. And it wasn't like she could find someone else. She was beginning to think that Kyle was as good as it was going to get. And if he was, she was screwed.

Walking a block, she cut through the park and headed to the diner. She'd always go there to blow off some steam whether it was Kyle or her mother pissing her off. She started to turn the corner and head out of the park when she smacked right into a wall.

The wall immediately reached out and grabbed her around her waist as she fell backwards, holding her close against it's chest. She held onto to the wall's shoulders, keeping herself from hitting the ground.

'Wait, walls don't have chests or shoulders. Broad ones at that.' She thought.

She slowly opened her eyes and found that the wall was breathing. It's well sculputed chest rising and falling with every breath it took. And it had on a shirt tight enough for her to see it's amazing abs underneath.

Strange. She never used to get turned on by walls before.

Okay, she did once. But only because she heavily intoxicated.

She lifted her eyes and gasped as she found that her wall had the most gorgeous eyes she'd ever seen.

"Hi." Mr. Wall said softly. He smiled warmly and Liz's heart melted, turned back into a solid and then melted again.

"Hi." Liz choked out. She still held onto his shoulders, unconsciously moving her body closer to his. He felt so good against her. Like they just fit together.

And as she stared up into a pair of mesmerizing golden eyes, she forgot everything, including Kyle.

Thanks for the amazing feedback!! :D

Chapter 4

There were no ways to describe her.

Try, gorgeous, beautiful, flawless, amazing. They didn't even come close to her.

He instinctively pulled her closer, feeling her racing heart beat against his own and it made him want her even more.

He'd never felt like this before and it was somewhat exciting and frightening at the same time because he didn't even know she existed a few seconds ago. But he felt like she belonged right here, in his arms.

It felt like it was meant to be. It felt real.

Suddenly, he lifted his hand and pushed a few strands of her hair that had fallen out of her bun behind her ear. His hand lingered longer than necessary, before he moved it to cup her cheek.

"Hi." He said again, feeling himself fall into her bright brown eyes.

"Hi." She whispered back, finding it hard to look away from his hypnotising eyes.

She leaned into his gentle touch. She was already falling and she was falling fast. She didn't think about the fact that she didn't even know this person, or that she was letting a stranger touch her so lovingly. She only dwelled on the warm feeling she got from his soft caress.

Across the street, a car back fired, breaking the two out of their spell.

"Oh...um..." Max pulled his hand back, his cheeks reddening in embarrassment. "Sorry." He mumbled as he let go of her and stepped back.

Liz missed the feeling of his hard body against his, but quickly masked her saddness. "It's okay. I didn't mean to run into you."

'But I'm glad I did.' She thought.

He waved his hand in the air. "I nearly knocked you down." He said, stuffing his hands in his pockets nervously.

"But you caught me." She said softly, feeling herself being pulled into his eyes again.

Max looked away, feeling the same as her. "Yeah. I'm glad I did." He whispered.

Liz's eyes widen as her grin grew a mile long. "Me too." She returned just as quietly. "I mean I was about to fall right on my ass." She said, once she realized what she had said.

"We can't have that now can we?" He teased with a twinkle in his eye.

She laughed. "No, we can't. But I tend to fall on my ass a lot. I should keep you around....just in case." She said, only half joking.

"I'd be happy to be your cushion." He said with bright smile, but it suddenly faltered as she stepped closer to him, her gaze falling to his lips. She placed her hands on his shoulders, not being able to help herself.

He stepped forward as well, his eyes darkening as he brought both of his hands to either side of her small waist. Taking a cautious step closer, he slowly leaned forward brushing his lips against her forehead. Then travelling down to the tip of her nose, before moving to her soft cheek. He pulled back a bit, his eyes asking her permission to taste her sweet lips. She only closed her eyes as she parted her lips, tilting her head up in anticipation. Max let his eyes flutter shut as he leaned forward. Feeling her breath against his lips, his heart did a flip.

And just before their lips made contact, his cell phone rang, breaking the moment and causing the two to jump apart.

Liz inwardly groaned as she watched him fumble to get his phone out of his pocket.

"Hello?" He barked into the phone.

"Maxie, where are you?" Tess whined into the phone.

"I'm out Tess." He sighed. He smiled his apology to Liz. With a wave of her hand, she mouthed 'It's okay" back to him. He smiled again before turning back to his converstion with Tess.

"Come home Maxie. I don't want to be here alone." She squeaked, causing Max to hold the phone away from his ear.

Liz watched his lips move as he spoke into the phone. Those lusious lips. Lips that she could be kissing right now. That she could be tasting right now. She silently cursed the person on the other end of the line. She bit her lip to keep from moaning as his tongue darted out, moistening his lips. How she wished that that very tongue was against hers right now.

"You actually expect me to just forget about how you treated Michael and Alex eariler?"

"Awwww, come on Maxie. Don't be that way."

"And what do you mean "come home." First of all, you're in my dorm. You live across campus."

"Well maybe we should change that." She said slyly.

"What?!?" He screamed into the phone.

"I think I'll be a great idea for me to move in with you. Do you?"

"Hell no!!"

"Maxie..." She whined.

He could just image that annoying little pout that he was sure she making right now. He rolled his eyes. "I'll be there later Tess." He hung up, not bothering to wait for her reply.

He stuffed his phone back into his pocket. "Sorry. I have to go." He said, the disappointment evident in his tone.

"Yeah. Me too." She said as he started to back away. "It was nice running into you." She called with a bright smile.

"It was nice catching you." He called back. He gave her one last smile before turning around and walking away.

Liz watched him go, entranced by the way he moved. And it wasn't unil he'd exited the park and turned the corner that she realized that she didn't even know his name.

Running after him, she weaved in and out of the crowd and hurried towards the exit of the park. She desperately looked both ways, searching for a dark head with beautiful amber eyes.

But she found none.

And she turned around and headed back home.

Just moments later, Max came running back into the park, searching for the girl with the big brown eyes and silky brown hair. He searched the whole park, looking for her. Desperate to find her, to get her name.

In defeat, he muttered a curse and turned around, walking in the oposite direction and headed home.
**********

Liz floated into the dorm, closing the door softly behind her. She leaned against it drawing in a slow breath.

Maria and Isabel, who'd been watching from the living room, exchanged a look.

"What's with the dreaminess?" Maria asked.

"What?" Liz said, snapping out of her daze.

"In other words, who's the guy?" Isabel said.

Liz moved to the couch, sitting between them. "I don't know." She murmered as she drifted off into another daydream.

"What do you mean you don't know?" Maria questioned, shaking her shoulder to snap her out of her fantasy world.

Liz snapped to attention. "I mean I don't know his name. I bumped into him after I left earlier. He was so.....so....perfect." She said with a sigh as she fell back against the back of the couch.

"And you didn't get this perfect guy's name and number?" Isabel asked in disbelief.

"Well, I was kind of preoccupied. But I call him Mr. Wall." She said with a slight smile as she remembered the way Mr. Wall had held her. The way his hand had felt against her, making her feel things she'd never felt before. Things that Kyle had never invoked in her. And Mr. Wall had barely done anything to her and now she couldn't even get him out of her mind.

"Liz?!?" Maria screamed, trying to gain Liz's attention. "Preocupied? Mr. Wall? What did this guy do to you chica? I've never seen you like this."

"I've never felt like this. It was like.....magic." She told her two best friends with a sparkle in her eye.

Maria and Isabel exchanged another look. "Magic? Liz you're talking crazy. You don't know this guy. How can you feel something towards him?" Isabel question, immediately turning into the logical one.

"I don't know. When he touched me....when he kissed me...."

"He kissed you?!?" Maria and Isabel exclaimed in unison.

"Yes.....no....not really. He kissed me on the forehead and then on the cheek. We were about to kiss....God he felt so good." She said as she imagined his hard body against her soft one yet again.

"Whoa, Liz. What has gotten into you? And what about Kyle?"

"Kyle?"

"Yeah, you know the guy that your mother keeps pressuring you to marry?" Liz's face fell at Maria's words. "Yeah. Remember him?"

"Yeah, Liz. I don't think it's a good idea to get involved with this Mr. Wall person. It could cause more problems then it solves." Isabel explained.

Liz leaned forward, resting her head in her hands. "But Kyle is so.....blah." She said, twisting her face up in disgust. "But this guy was...."

"Perfect." They both said for her.

"Yes."

"Look chica. You know that me more than anyone wants to see you with someone that you actually like and doesn't treat you like crap. But this guy.....Mr. Wall....what are the chances that you'll even see him again? I mean, you don't even know if he was a student here or just passing through."

Liz sighed. "You're right. I knew he was too perfect to be true. Damn it! Why couldn't I have just thought to ask for his name?"

There was a knock at the door and Isabel got up to answer it.

"You probably were to caught up in his perfectness to think about it." Maria teased.

"Shut up." She nudged her with her elbow just before Isabel walked into the room with Kyle following behind her, one hand behind his back.

"Hey babe." He chimed as he made his way to her. Maria and Isabel excused themselves, leaving the couple alone in the small dorm.

She stood, folding her arms in front of her chest. "What do you want?" She spat out. "I really don't want to fight with you right now."

"I want you baby." He cooed, holding out his hand, he revealed a red tulip. "Your favorite." He smiled as he handed to her.

Her favorites were white roses. But she took it anyway, knowing that Kyle would never listen to her enough to know what her favorite flower was. She silently wondered if Mr. Wall would notice small things like that. If he would remember her birthday or her favorite flower or color. She had a feeling he would. And she smiled at the thought of him.

"See. I'm not such a big jackass. Now am I?" He asked, thinking she was smiling because of the flower.

"Thank you. It's beautiful."

"Look Liz, I'm sorry for standing you up. I should've called you. It just slipped my mind." He said as he took a step towards her.

She sighed, twirling the tulip between her fingers. "And I'm sorry too. I shouldn't have blown it out of proportion." She said as he took another step closer, wrapping his arms around her waist.

"So you forgive me?" He moved to kiss her cheek.

She frowned slightly when she didn't feel anything like she did when she was with Mr. Wall. This felt wrong. He felt wrong. He didn't fit her. Her curves didn't coincide with his. He didn't feel good against her. He didn't hold her the same. Her heart didn't do summersaults, her pulse didn't race.

She didn't feel alive.

All those things that Mr. Wall had made her feel in one millisecond had taken Kyle months to invoke in her. And now, they weren't even here anymore.

But she couldn't have what she wanted. Kyle was what she had, and she had to deal with what she was given.

"Liz? Do you forgive me baby?" He asked again.

Biting her lip, she erased the image of Mr. Wall out of her mind and gave Kyle a bright smile. "Yes. I forgive you." He brought his lips to hers, sweeping his tongue across her lips. Licking, sucking her mouth in a rough kiss. She winced as he bit down on her lip. But he didn't seem to notice or care for that matter.

He pulled away, taking her hand and leading her into the bedroom. She let him have her, but as hard as she tried, she couldn't keep her thoughts on the man that was now slowly removing her clothes. Her thoughts were with someone who'd stolen her heart with one touch. Someone she didn't even know. Someone she might not even see again.

Chapter 5

Max stormed into his dorm and into the living room to find Tess sitting on the couch painting her toe nails.

He shuddered as he thought about Alex had said about him having to do that one day.

She looked up when Max slammed the door behind him. "Maxie, you're finally back. I called the moving services and they....."

"No, Tess!!" He shouted as he stalked towards her. "You are not moving in with me!!"

"But why Maxie? I love you, you love me....."

He threw his hands up in the air. "Whoa, whoa. Who said I loved you in the first place?"

She set the polish aside and gave him a look. "Well you did, silly. Last year."

He ran a frustrated hand down his face and moved into the kitchen. "That was before you were reincarnated into the wicked with of the East." He reached into the freezer and pulled out t.v. dinner. "Besides, I was drunk. I told the lamp post that I loved it. I think I even french kissed it, but that's not the point." He waved his hand in the air. "And we both know that you don't love me." He said as he opened the box and set it in the microwave.

She followed him into the kitchen, stopping his movement as she wrapped her arms around his neck. "Now where did you get an idea like that?"

He pulled away. "Oh....I don't know. Maybe it's because you're with a different guy every night. Or maybe it's because you're a cold hearted bitch. Yes, I think that's where I got it from."

Her jaw dropped to the ground and Max turned back to the microwave, hiding his triumphant smile.

"Wha..What? You can't talk to me that way!! Do you know who I am?" She spat out, stomping her foot.

"The devil's spawn?"

"Fuck you Max!!" She said as stormed out of the kitchen, searching for her shoes.

"Please don't. Who knows what kind of dieases you carry around!!" He shouted after her. He heard her annoyed huff and then the front door slam shut.

'Serves her right for breaking up my conversation with that brown haired beauty earlier.' He thought.

Max mentally kicked himself for not getting her phone number, or her name for that matter. But what was he thinking? He'd only known the girl for five seconds and he was ready to pounce on her. Max had never been the one to move too fast with a girl. It had taken him months to be intimate with Tess, and that was when she was actually bareable to be around.

All he knew was that he felt something strong when he was with her. Something that he had never felt before and he couldn't get her out of his head.

The beeping of the microwave brought Max out of his thoughts and he popped open the door and took out his meal.

He grabbed a plastic fork and the phone and made his way to the table.

He pressed number two on the speed dial and waited.

"Hello?" A woman answered.

Max smiled.

"Hi mom. How are you?" He asked the sweetest woman in the world.

"I'm fine sweetie. How are you holding up?"

"I'm okay. Mom, can you do me the biggest favor?"

"What is it sweetie?"

"You have to talk to dad for me and get me out of this thing with Tess. She wants to move in with me mom."

She let out a long sigh. "I've tried. But he's just as stubborn as ever. Max why don't you just break up with her and apply for a student loan?"

He sighed as he took a bite of his mashed potatoes. "I've tried that. But you know that dad has connections. I can't get a loan anywhere."

"Oh Max. I wish I could do something for you honey. But I don't think I could do much by talking to him." She explained.

"Mom, he listens to you." He whined, desperate to find a way to get away from Tess.

"Um....about that Max....I've been wanting to tell you...."

He dropped his fork. "What? He hasn't hit you has he?" He said, getting worried.

"Good Lord no." She said with a small chuckle. "You know I would never let that happen."

Max relaxed.

"I'm just thinking of divorcing him." She said hesitantly.

"What?" He stopped all movements.

"Well. I've been thinking about it lately and I just can't live with him and the way he's treating you. He doesn't listen to me anymore and I can't deal with it anymore."

"Thank God. Dad doesn't deserve you mom. You two are like heaven and hell. I don't know how you put up with him for all these years."

"Because of you. But, now I guess I have nothing holding me back. But listen, I haven't told him yet so don't mention anything about this to him."

"I won't. I love you mom." He said.

"I love you too honey. And I'll see what I can do about this Tess situation."

"Thanks mom. Bye." He hung up and when back to eating his meal.

He knew that he was going to get his ass chewed off by his father because of Tess in a while. So until then, he relaxed and day dreamed of the girl with the silky brown hair and beautiful brown eyes.
**********

Liz awoke to a loud snort in her ear. Rolling on her side, she came face to face with Kyle, breathing heavily and snoring loudly next to her. She groaned as she tried to untangle herself from him, but horribliy failed as he threw his arm around her, his large hand landing on her face.

"Geez!!" She shoved at him, forcing him over the side of the bed. He landed with a loud thump and she fought to hold back her laugh as he jumped up, looking around as if he was ready for a fight.

"What happened?" He asked as he rubbed the sleep out of his eyes.

"Oh, you must have fell sweetie." She said sweetly.

"Oh." He said as he rubbed his head.

"You want breakfast?" She asked as she sat up.

"Naw. I'm just gonna head out." He said as he searched for his clothes.

Liz got up and left the room and headed into the kitchen. She started making her usual breakfast, waffles and eggs.

"Bye babe." She heard him call as he walked out the door.

It had been a week since she'd bumped into Mr. Wall and she hadn't seen him since. Everywhere she went, she would find herself searching the crowds for his face. She couldn't get rid of him. He was the first thing that came to mind when she woke in the morning and the last thing when she went to bed at night.

Maria had told her to think of him as a crazy serial killer and that'll scare her and keep him out of her thoughts. But even that didn't seem to work.

She pictured him in tight black jeans and tight black shirt, with a black ski mask hiding his perfect features. He crepted slowly around the dorms and smoothly slipped into her bedroom window with cat like grace. She picured him crawling on her bed, knife in hand, slowly moving towards his victim, an evil gleam in his eye. He roughfully tossed back the covers, the light from the moon reflecting off the knife as he held it up, ready to cut. He swiftly brought the knife to her body, skillfully tearing off her clothes. He threw the knife aside, pulled off his mask and attacked her body, kissing, caressing, touching, being rough and gentle at the same time. She was so hot. So ready for him.

"Liz." He cried as he thrust inside of her. "Oh God, you're so beauitful."

"Liz!!" She felt him coming. He was almost there...."Liizzz!!!!!"

"What?!?" Liz snapped out of her fantasy to come face to face with a paniced Maria. "What is it?

"The kitchen's on fire!! You're burning the eggs!!" She yelled. Liz whirled around, her eyes widening as she spotted the smoke on the stove. She grabbed the burning skillet by the handle, holding it out at arms length and rushed towards the sink. She switched on the cold water and set the skillet inside the sink. It hissed as the cool water met with the hot metal.

"So I guess we can safely blame Mr. Wall for this?" Maria said as she threw away the waffles that had burnt inside of the toaster.

"Damn it!! I can't get him out of my head. Every time I do that stupid serial killer thing you told me to do, it always ends up with just...just.."

"Hot, wild sex?"

"Maria!!" She shrieked as she turned crimson red.

She shrugged and said, "What?" She moved to the refringerator and pulled out a bag of carrots. "Lizzie, you either need to find his guy or forget about him, because if things keep going the way they have been, we'll end up living on the streets." She explained, waving her carrot around as she talked.

"But his face is everywhere. He's in my dreams, he's in my chemistry book, for God's sake, he's in my coffee." She groaned and let her head fall on the counter. "And I don't even know his name." She finished miserably.

Maria tapped her on the shoulder with her carrot. Liz turned her head to look at her. "Let's go to a movie tonight. Me, you and Isabel."

"Isabel, you and I" Liz corrected.

"Yes, that'll work to. We can go see 50 First Dates. It'll get your mind off of everything."

Liz straightened and grabbed some bread and popped it into the toaster. "Fine. But if I see his face in my gummy bears, I'm leaving."
************

"Max, I am in love." Alex declared as he burst into he Max's dorm.

"Wish I could say the same." He muttered from where he sat slouched on the couch. It had been one whole week since he'd since that brown haired beauty. He was sure he had flunked his calculas exam because he'd been to busy day dreaming about his dream girl. "Who is it this time?"

"Her name is Isabel and she's...gorgeous. She doesn't know I exist yet, but she will. Then she won't be able to get enough of my charming ways." He headed into the kitchen and grabbed a bottle of snapple out of the refrigerator.

"Ha! Charming ways." Max laughed. "More like clumsy ways."

Alex scowled at him from the kitchen. "And what do you mean 'who is it this time'? You act as if I'm in love all the time?"

"You are."

"So what's your point?" He hopped over the back of the couch and landed right next to Max.

"You know, normal people just walk around the couch. But you wouldn't know anything about that would you?" Max said.

Alex looked thoughtful for a second before shaking his head. "No. No I would not."

Max rolled his eyes and laid his head back against the back of the couch.

"Thinking about that girl again?" Alex asked as he popped open the bottle.

"Yeah. It's like her face is inprinted into my mind."

"Well why don't you get with another girl to get her out of your mind? Like a distraction." He suggested.

"Who?" He asked, turning his head to look at his friend.

"Tess?" Max growled and Alex jumped. "Okay, okay. Bad choice." He said, scooting away from him. "What's up with the gerbil anyway? I haven't seen her here in a while."

Max propped his feet up on the coffe table and leaned his head back, closing his eyes. "She's pissed at me because I wouldn't let her move in with me."

"What?!" Alex shouted. "Max, if that evil....thing starts living here, I won't ever get to come over and steal your food." He whined.

"Grim Reaper called and chewed out my ass, but apparently, Tess hasn't complained that much because he hasn't pulled my funding yet. I told her off and now she won't talk to me." He smiled. "The silence is great isn't it?"

"Just dandy. So what are you gonna do about you 'dream girl'?" He wondered as he read the ingredients on the snapple bottle.

"I don't know. But I swear it's driving me crazy." He pressed his hands to his forehead and squeezed his eyes shut.

"Well, Max. It's like I always say. 'If the world throws you a beautiful girl and then takes her away, say 'screw you world' and then go make lemonade.'"

Max burst out in laughter, clutching his stomach as his hearty laugh filled the room. "Alex that makes no sense." He said once he settld down.

"It made you feel better didn't it?" Max nodded. "Okay then. That was the whole point. You know, I should become a shrink." He cleared his throat and spoke in a annoucers voice. "Look out Dr. Phil because here comes the younger, smarter and definately better looking, Dr. Al!!" He cupped his hands around his mouth and blows out a breath, mimicking a roaring crowd.

"You're a strange one Alex." Max said as he shook his head at his friend.

"Thank you. Hey how about we all go see a movie tonight? I hear that movie, um...50 First Dates? Yeah that's it. I heard that that was good."

Max nodded in agreement. "Sure. As long as it's something to get my mind off this girl."

Chapter 6

Max fidgeted in his seat as he glanced to his right for what seemed like the one millionth time tonight. He, Alex and Michael had showed up at the movies a short while ago, and he couldn't shake his feeling that his dream girl was right in this very room. She could possiblily be seated just a couple of seats down. She was so closed, but so far.

"Maxwell, you okay?" Michael asked, keeping his eyes on the screen.

"Yeah. I-I'm fine." He said.

His leg bounced nervously as he bit his thumb nail. It was impossible to concentrate on the plot of the movie. He chanced another glance in her direction, his heart thumped in his chest as he realized that it could be her. But what were the chances that she would just happen to be in the same theater seeing the same movie at the same time as him. She turned to look at him and he quickly looked away, embarassed that he'd been caught staring.

"Would you stay still." Michael muttered to him as he noticed how jumpy he was.

"Michael, I think she's here." Max whispered back.

"Who?" He pushed a handful of popcorn into his mouth.

"The girl. My dream girl. I think she's here." He said as he continued to glance at his right and found that she was staring right at him.

"Maxwell, just calm down. Geez, you'll be disappointed when they flip on the lights and it's a 53 year old hag." A couple behind them shushed them.

"Sorry." Max mumbled to them.

"I really don't think that a 53 year old woman would look like that." Max reasoned.

"Everyone looks gorgeous in the dark Maxwell." He shrugged his shoulders. "I mean, look at Alex. With the lights on, he's hideous I'm talking completely hard on the eyes. But with the lights off, well.....he's still hideous."

"Hey, Einstein, I'm sitting right next to you." Alex said.

"Shhhh!!" The people behind him hissed.

He turned to them and mouthed an apology. "And for you're information, the ladies happen to love my good looks. When was the last time you came with a girl?" He continued in a quieter voice.

"Whatever." Michael muttered. Alex smiled in triumph and sat back, returning his attention to the movie.

Max sighed and slouched in his seat, resting his elbow on the arm rest. Michael had a point in some screwed up kind of way. He was getting himself worked up for nothing and then it might not even be her.

Deciding that he would let it go for now, Max turned back to the movie, resting his arm on the arm rest. He frowned as his elbow slipped off the arm rest. He glanced at Michael, who appeared to be entralled in the movie. He rested his arm back on the rest and turned to the movie.

"Stop Michael." Max whispered harshly as Michael pushed his arm off the rest. Max pushed Michael's arm off anf resumed his former postion. But Michael didn't give up as he put his arm on the rest and proceded to slightly ease Max's arm off the rest. Max did the same and soon they were in a all out arm rest war.

Michael, being bigger than Max, forced his arm off the arm rest, causing Max to use his other hand to help push.

"This is stupid." Max muttered. He stopped pushing Michael's arm. The lack of opposing force on Michael's arm caused it to slide over the arm rest, his drink in his hand spilling over Max's pants.

"Michael!!" He said a little to loudly.

"SHhhh!!"

"Aw, shhh yourself." Max said the the people behind him. He got up and walked up the isle, all the while wiping off his pants with his hands. He was so concentrated on drying his pants that he didn't noticed that someone was about to open the door.

The door flew open, banging him on the head. A loud curse echoed across the room. He stumbled backward a few steps, grasping his head in pain. "Oww." He groaned.

"Oh my God. I'm so sorry." A woman gasped.

"SHHHHH!!" The row in front of them hissed.

"I swear if one more person shushes me I'm going to scream." Max mumbled as he stumbled out into the lobby.

"I'm so sorry. I didn't see you." The woman said as she followed him into the lobby. "Is your head alright? Do you need anything? Let me see."

"I-I'm fine." He said, but the woman wouldn't have it. She pulled his hands away from his head to inspect the damage she had done. Max found himself staring into a pair of sparkling green eyes. The woman's hair was long and blond, with soft curls. Her lips were full and pouty as she rambled on about how sorry she was.

"It's okay really." He assured her.

She raised an eyebrow. "Are you sure, because, I can already see a bruise forming. Maybe you should go to the hospital. No it's just a bump. It can't be that serious right? Do you feel dizzy? Light-headed? Oh my God, you're going to slap a big fat law suit on my ass for attacking you with the door. I'm so sorry. Can you see straight? Is your head hurting? How many fingers am I holding up?" She held up three fingers and waved them franticly in front of his face.

Max stood in amusement. He had never seen anyone who could get so much out in one breath. It seemed impossible.

"Really. I'm fine. I'm Max by the way." He said holding out his hand.

"Maria." She took his hand. She looked him up and down. "You're hot for someone with a bump on their head and a wet spot on their pants." She said.

"Geez!!" He quickly covered the spot with his hands, his cheeks reddening in embarassment. "M-My friend spilled pop over my pants."

"Oh." She narrowed her eyes as she studied the man before her. He looked alot like Mr.Wall, the guy that Liz decribed.

"What? Why are you looking at me like that? I swear it's just pop. I was out of that stage when I turned five." He claimed.

She let out a bark of laughter. "Hot and funny. Good combination." She mumbled as she circled him.

"Excuse me?" He questioned as he turned his head to follow her movements.

"Do you know a Liz Parker?" She asked. He shook his head. "Of cousre not. You didn't get her name."

Max frowned. "Okay, well, I'm just going to go and dry my pants. It was nice meeting you Maria." He said as he backed away. He disappeared into the bathroom before she could protest.

She frowned, crossing her arms in front of her chest. She was sure that he was the guy that Liz was talking about. He was the same height, golden eyes, dark brown hair, sculpted jaw line, gorgeous body....big ears. Yep, Max was definately the guy Liz was looking for.

Cautiously looking around her, she inched her way towards the men's bathroom before barging through. Max, who was dry his pants under the hand dryer, yelped in surprised as he spotted her coming towards him.

"Okay." He said slowly. "You do know that this is the men's bathroom don't you?"

Maria grabbed him by the shoulders and whirled him around to face her. "You have amber eyes. And you have dark brown hair." Max blinked, thinking that this girl was completely crazy now. "You ran into a girl a week ago. She's about my height, petite, long brown hair, big brown eyes?" His eyes widened. "Aha! So you do know Liz Parker."

"Liz." Her name rolled off his tongue so easily. Just saying her name felt right.

Maria rolled her eyes. "You two are made for each other. You both have that love sick look in your eyes." She got behind him and pushed him forward. "Come on. You have to meet her.

"But....but my pants...." He stuttered.

"Your pants are fine." She said as she continued to push him from behind. She pushed him out of the bathroom, towards the movie where they had come from. But just as Max held out his hand to open the door, it swung open, striking him right where Maria had hit him before.

Maria clasped her hand over her mouth as he stumbled back.

"Fuck!!" He cursed as his hand flew to his head.

"Oh my God!! I'm soooo sorry. I didn't see you." The woman exclamied.

"Yeah that seems to be the theme tonight." He muttered.

"Oh, let me see. You're bleeding." Max let her pull his hands off his head and he gasped as he came face to face with the girl that he'd been dreaming about for a week. Her beautiful brown eyes staring right into his. And to Max, was was even more beautiful than the last time he saw her.

Her long brown hair fell loosely around her slinder shoulders. She wore a white fitted tee and a tan skirt that fell just before her knees with white sandels.

Liz was just astonished as he was. Here, standing right in front of her with a head injury, was Mr. Wall himself. The man she had been trying to forget about for a week. The man she'd had tried to convince herself was a serial killer. The man she had been burning down kitchens for.

"Hi." He said breathlessly.

"Hi." She said just as breathlessly as she stared into his liquid golden eyes.

Max seemed to have forgotten about the blood seeping out from the small cut on his head. He held out his hand. "Before I forget again. I'm Max. Max Evans." He said with a charming smile.

"Liz Parker." She softly. She took his hand and couldn't help but notice the way her heart pounded and the shock she got once she touched him. He was so gorgeous. He wore simple jeans and a white button up shirt with the sleeves rolled up the his elbows. The top three buttons were open, showing off his amazing chest.

"Oh!! Um, your head is bleeding." She said, snapping out of her trance. "And, um your pants are a little wet." She said, pointing to the wet spot on his pants leg.

He shot a glare a Maria who was standing off to the side, watching this exchange with a satisfied smile. "My friend spilled pop over my pants."

"Oh." She said as she tried to surpass her laughter that was threatening to take over her. Pulling a tissue out of her purse she stepped up to him and cleaned off the blood on his forehead. "I'm sorry about the door thing. I'm just a little clumsy. I told you I should keep you around for safety." She giggled.

He smiled down at her. "Yeah. I see what you mean." He teased.

"Good Lord, would you take the girl out already?" An impatient Maria said

"Now?" He squeaked out. He cleared his throat. "What about the movie?" He asked.

Liz waved her hand in the air. "We could always see it again later." She said, eager to go out with the man she had been dreaming of for the past week.

Max smiled. He couldn't believe that she wanted to go out with him as much as he wanted to go with her. She was too good to be true.

Liz smiled in return and all too quickly, they found themselves looked in each others gaze, unable to look away.

Maria rolled her eyes and sighed at this display. She stepped forward, grabbing Liz's hand and Max's, she clasped them together and pushed them towards the exit. "Go. You two should be married by now and having kids by now."

"I need to let my friends know that I'm leaving." He said.

"Don't worry I'll tell them. Liz couldn't keep her eyes off of you, so I know where you were sitting." She explained before she shooed them out of the theater.

"Maria!!" Liz shrieked, feeling cheeks burn with embarassement.

"Have fun!! And no kissing on the first date!!" She shouted as they walked out of the front doors.

"So." She said as they walked down the street. He hadn't let go of her hand yet and her heart wouldn't stop fluttering around in her chest.

"So." He returned.

Liz coughed and twisted the strap of her purse, while Max cleared his throat, counting the number of cracks in the sidewalkt that they passed.

"How have you been doing this last week?" She asked, breaking the uncomfortable silence.

"Good. Just trying not to drown in all of this work these teachers are giving out."

"Oh, so you are a student here. I know what you mean." She said, shaking her head. "My head is already spinning and we've only been in school for three weeks."

"Yeah. Do you know Mr. Kenzi?"

She nodded. "Yeah. He's a nightmare." She lowered her voice. "Work, work, work. Do you think Einstein got to where he was by goofing off and listening to all that crazed barbaric rock and roll?"

He laughed. "He is a scary one."

Max smiled as he watched her laugh. He couldn't get pass the fact that she was here, holding his hand, strolling down the street with him. She was so beautiful.

"Have any place in mind?" He asked.

"There's a small diner up the street we can go to." She said.

He agreed. They walked in silence on the way to the diner, the nervous tension taking a hold on the both of them. They entered the diner a few minutes later.

Liz did her best to hide her disappointment as he let go of her hand to open the door for her. But her it quickly disappeared when Max curled his arm around her waist and guided her to a table at the back of the diner. His warm hand sending a tingling sensation whereever he touched.

"Thank you." She said as he pulled out her chair for her.

"Your welcome." He said as he rounded the table a took his seat.

The diner was quiet. Unusal for a Friday night. There were a few couples scattered about, kissing under the dim light of the room. Some of them Max knew from his classes, and he secretly envied them. He longed to have someone he could he could give all his love to, someone he could cherish. He hoped that he could have that with Liz.

He looked across the table at her. She was looking at her menu, her hair falling over her shoulders like a curtain. He would love to run his fingers through her hair. It looked so soft, so silky, so touchable.

She turned her gaze to his and smiled self-consciously. "What? Do I have something on my face?" She said as she wiped her hands over her cheeks.

He smiled softly. "No. You're just....beautiful." He said gently.

WOW!!!! She bowed her head, as she tried to fight the urge to grin like an idiot. But she wasn't that naive. Something had to be wrong with him. He was too good to be true. He had to have some uncurable disease or something, because guys like him don't exist unless there's a catch. And Liz got the feeling that he had a big catch.

"Thank you." She glanced back up at him to find him smiling at her with a sexy half smile. "You're not so bad yourself." She commented.

He mimiced her earlier movement, his ears turning red at the tips. How was it possible for him to be so confident when he complimented her but when she returned the favor, he turned shy again.

He was just too adorable.

"Hi. I'm Susan and I'll be you're waitress for this evening. Would you like to order now?" She smiled as she pulled out a order pad and a pen from her apron.

Max glanced at Liz and she shook her head. "I think we'll need a couple of more minutes." He said.

Susan nodded. "Okay. Just let me know when you're ready. Would you like any thing to drink?"

"Water." Liz responed.

"Same for me." Max said. Susan nodded and left, coming back a few minutes later with two large glasses of water.

"So. Tell me about yourself Liz Parker." He said with a crooked smile.

She smiled back flirtaiously. "Well, what do you want to know Max Evans?"

"Everything." He said truthfully.

Liz was taken aback at his statement. And from his gentle smile and his honest eyes, she could tell that he was genuinly interested. "Okay. My name is Elizabeth Claudia Parker and I'm 19 years old and I'm from Chicago."

"Windy?"

She giggled. "Yeah, it's windy. What about you?"

"I'm Maxwell Phillip Evans and I'm 19 years old and I'm from Roswell."

"Alien capital? Is it really as corny as everyone makes it out to be?"

He laughed, showing off his perfect white teeth. "Yes. Yes it is. Everything is alien themed."

"Corny."

"Very."

"So what do you want to do?" He asked.

"I'm studying to become a molecular biologist. It's been my dream since I was ten."

"Science geek, uh?" He teased.

"Hey! I resent that." She balled up her napkin and threw it at him. He ducked to avoid it, laughing at her inability to keep a straight face.

"I don't blame you though. I love computers." He said.

"Computer nerd, uh?" She returned with a sly smile.

"Yes, and I'm proud to be a nerd. Thank you very much." He crossed his arms over his chest.

"A geek and a nerd. We make a good pair." She commented.

"Yeah, we do."

She had finally found him, and now she was out on a date with him. And he was thankfully nothing like Kyle. Max was shy, sweet and softspoken. Kyle was intimadating, arrogent and loud. Max was just like she had imaged him.....perfect.

He reached over the table and tucked a strand of her hair behind her ear. "You had a...."

"Hair thing." His eyes were hypotnotizing. She couldn't look away. And she didn't think she wanted to.

But the short moment was broken by the shrill of a cell phone. "Excuse me." He said as he fumbled to answer it. "Hello?"

"Maxwell, where the hell are you? There's this crazy blond bouncing around here saying that you went on some date?"

"Yeah. You know that girl I was looking for?" He glanced at Liz and she smiled. "Well, we kind of ran into each other."

"I just love how you ditched your friends for a chick Maxwell." He muttered sarcastically.

"I know, I'm sorry. I just...."

"Don't worry about it. Just make sure you get some will you?"

"Michael!!" He glanced at Liz to find her looking at her menu. He lowered his voice. "You know I'm not like that and I don't think she's like that either." He explained.

"Okay, okay. Have a good time. At least get a kiss Maxwell."

"Good-bye Michael." He hung up, sticking the phone back into his pocket. "Sorry about that. Michael was just checking up on me."

She smiled. "I understand. I'm surprised Maria or Isabel hasn't called me yet."

He smiled. "So what do you say we order?" She nodded. And this started the beginning of the the best evening that either of them had seen in a long while.
**********

Max and Liz laughed as they walked out of the elevator hand in hand. It was close to two in the morning, but both hated to part.

They stopped in front of her dorm. Max turned towards her, taking her other hand in his.

"I had a great time tonight." She said softly as she stepped closer to him.

"Me too. I mean minus the head injury and everything." He chuckled.

"Hey. I warned you that I was a little clumsy, but did you listen? Nooooooo." She laughed, poking him in the chest with her finger.

"I'm glad I didn't." He murmered as he closed the gap between them and brought his arms around her waist.

Liz raised her arms and locked them around his neck. He smelled so good, and she could only image that he tasted just as good.

He leaned in closer as he brought his hand up to cup her cheek. He brushed his thumb across her soft lips. "I'm going to kiss you now." He didn't want to scare her away, but he could fill himself being pulled to her.

"What if I don't want you to?" She smirked, tilting her head up so that her lips were just centimeters from his.

Max pulled back slightly, but when he saw her teasing smirk, he relaxed. "It's mandatory. If you don't kiss me, then you'll be in great legal trouble." He explained as he kissed her cheek. He stepped back, bringing her with him as he leaned back against the door, spreading his legs slightly so that she could step in between them.

"Oh? What ever for?" She giggled as he gently blew in her ear.

"Well, I could sue you for assalt with a deadly swinging door." He mumbled as he moved to nibble on her neck.

"That's a serious crime." She breathed as her legs turned to jello. "But you're already kissing me."

"Nope. Lip to lip contact is only acceptable." He raised his head so that he could look in her eyes. "And I'm not kissing, I'm nibbling."

"Oh, right. Nibbling." She rolled her eyes. "So let's just say that I don't go through with this kissing thing." She said with a twinkle in her eye. "What might happen?"

"Well....I might have to take serious action and you must be punished severly. And I can make it happen, my father's a lawyer."

She smiled, before putting on a mock serious face. "So if I just kiss you then you go home and that's it? And if I refuse.....you take serious action."

"That's right." He said with a sexy smile. It was then that the advice that Maria had given her about no kissing on the the first date completely slipped her mind.

"Okay." He leaned in closer, the distance between her lips and his shortening. His eyes fluttered shut as he felt her breath on his lips, his body stirring, reacting to her closeness. And just as their lips were about to touch, she pulled away, stepping out of his embrace.

"I want the serious action Evans. Show me what you got." And before she knew what had hit her, Max whirled them around, pinning her against the door, ravishing her, cherishing her. This is what he had dreamed of. This feeling, he couldn't stop himself. He left her lips, traveling down her jaw, suckling sweetly at her neck.

"Max..." She breathed. He felt so good. She buried her hands into his hair, pulling him closer. "Max....maybe we...maybe..we should go inside."

He reluctantly pulled away, kissing her soft lips once more before letting her turn in his arms to unlock the door.

"Max." She giggled as he nibbled on her neck. His deep chuckle made her heart flip. "We won't ever get inside if you don't stop." She scolded playfully.

"Sorry. I'm not usually like this." He said.

She turned to him as she opened the door. "That must mean I'm special." She winked and lead him inside the dorm.

Max felt his groin tighten and before he could control himself, he pulled her flush against him, attacking her once more.

"Liz....tell me if I'm going to fast okay?" He mumbled between kisses. "I just can't not kiss you right now."

"Me either." She slid her hands under the front of his shirt, feeling the tigtening muscles of his chest. "I'm not supposed to kiss on the first date." She murmed as his tongue worked it's magic on her neck. She back up, bringing him with her until she felt the edge of the couch against her calves. Max gently laid her down, shifting so that not all of his weight was on top of her.

"Max." She moaned into his mouth as he thrust his tongue against hers, his hands under her shirt, feeling the soft skin of her back.

"God Liz. You feel so good." He groaned.

"Liz...."

"Max...."

"Liz." Her head snapped up when she realized that that wasn't Max's voice calling her name.

"What? What's wrong?" Max asked, concerned etched over his features.

"Elizabeth Parker!! What the hell or you doing with that man!?!?" Her mother shouted.

Chapter 7

"Mom!!" Liz shouted, her eyes wide with horror. "Dad!!"

Max scrambled off of her, quickly unraveling himself from their embrace.

"Liz, what the hell are you doing and where is Kyle?!" She bellowed, stepping towards the couple. "You're cheating on him!!"

"Mom! Mom, it's not what it looks like." She said as she advanced towards her mother, holding her hands out in front of her.

"Then what the hell is it?! Kyle is the perfect man for you and here you are throwing that away with this....this.....man!!" She said, turning her heated gaze towards Max. "What were you expecting from her?!? Getting a quick fuck?!"

"Nancy!!" Jeff cried, tugging on his wife's arm.

"Mom, I was just..."

"Cheating on the man you're supposed to marry!!?" She roared.

Liz shrunk back onto the couch, throwing a glance at Max as he stared at her in shock.

"You're getting married?" He whispered.

She shook her head. "No. No I'm not." She turned her watery gaze to her mother. "I'm not going to marry Kyle mom."

"Yes you are!! You're wasting your time with this trash!!" She said gesturing to Max.

"Max is not trash!!" She stood, stalking up to her mother, her anger and frustration spilling over. "He's a hell of a lot better than Kyle will ever be!! Max actually listens to me mom!! And he's actually interested in me!! Kyle is the onw who wants me for a quick fuck!! He's more than likely cheating on me as we speak!!"

Nancy gasped, apalled that Liz could say such things about Kyle. She raised her hand to strike her, but Max was on his feet in a second, stepping in front of Liz and catching her hand just inches from Liz's face.

"Don't you dare touch her." He growled.

"Nancy, let's leave." Jeff said stepping out from the background, but he was ignored by everyone else in the room.

"Get your filthy paws off of me!! Who are you to tell me what I can do to my own daughter!?!" She raised her other hand only to be stopped by Max again.

"I said, don't touch her." His voice low, his eyes darkening in anger.

Nancy jerked away, from Max's grip, stepping back towards her husband, who stood silently in the corner. He was so used to this. Everytime, his wife and daughter were in the same room there was an argument. He knew his wife was very intimidating and usually the argument would end with Nancy getting what she wanted and Liz in tears. He was surprised to see Liz standing up for that young man and even the young man stand up for Liz.

"You know that you're sleeping with a cheap whore!!" She shouted, glaring at her daughter who had sunk back on the couch.

"Mrs. Parker if you think you're daughter's a whore, than you don't know her at all. You're seriously mistaken." Max said. "Liz is the most gorgeous and self-respected woman I have ever met. She's intelligent, funny, graceful. Any other mother would kill for a daughter like her. You don't know what a gem you have. And excuse me for saying this, but if you're too much of a bitch to see that, you're not much of a mother at all."

"You little...." She was cut short when Jeff clasped his hand over her mouth.

"We'll just leave." He said before dragging his furious wife out of the room.

Liz swallowed the tears down, determined not to cry in front of Max, determined not to shed another tear because of her mother. But she quickly gave up as a single tear rolled down her cheek and she leaned forward, her elbows on her knees and her hands covering her face.

"I'm sorry." She whispered. She had let her mother get to her again. She always had and always will. She just didn't understand how she could choose Kyle over her own daughter.

To her surprise, she felt the couch dip beside her and warm arms wrapping around her. "It's okay. Don't cry." Max soothed.

She leaned into him, burying her face in his chest. "I don't know how they got in. I didn't even know that they were coming. I'm so sorry about her. " She cried.

He placed his finger under her chin and brought her gaze to his. "It's okay. She doesn't know what a great person you are." He said softly.

She looked away, again pressing her face into his chest. "Why do you have to be so perfect?"

He laughed softly. "I have secrets of my own. I'm no where near perfect Liz." He said as he wiped her tears away with the pad of his thumb.

"Any one who can stand up to my mother is perfect." She said dryly.

Max sat back against the couch, pulling her back against him. "Liz, we need to talk." He said as he stroked her hair.

"I know." Taking a deep breath, she pulled away slightly. "Who's going to go first?" She asked.

"Wanna do rock, paper, scissors?" He said wiggling his eyebrows up and down.

She gave a weak smile. "Max, this is serious."

He held out his fist. "I know. My friends and I do this all the time when we need to decide on something. Come on."

She rolled her eyes and held out her fist. They boucned their fists up and down as Liz said, "Rock, paper, scissors shoot!" She placed her hand over his fist. "Paper covers rock. You go first."

"No. Wait, I wasn't ready." He pouted. "I want a redo."

She laughed. "Max...."

"Please." He said, stucking out his bottom lip.

"Fine. Next one wins." Again they bounced their fist in the air. "Rock, paper, scissors shoot."

"Ha! Scissors cut paper. You go first." Max said with a wide grin.

She stuck out her tongue and he dug his fingers into her side, tickling her. She tried to wiggle away from him, but he grabbed her and placed her on his lap.

"MAX!!!" She squealed as she leaned back against his chest and fought against his offending fingers. In a desperate move, she turned her head to the side and placed her mouth over his shoulder, and biting down hard.

He yelped in pain. "Okay, okay. I'll stop." He said as he rubbed his shoulder. At least he had gotten her to forget about her mother and put a smile on her face.

Still perched on his lap, she settled back against him, her head resting under his chin. She wrapped her arms around his waist and he wrapped his arms around hers. She immedaitely felt safe and warm.

"So, what can I say about Kyle?" She started. Max soothingly stroked her arm, waiting for her to continue. "I met him my senior year in high school. And believe it or not, the guy was actually quite charming the first time I met him. I brought him home to my parents and somehow he managed to win my mother over. As you can tell, she's very hard to get along with and she's not usually happy with the boys I bring home."

Max frowned. "So I don't get it. If your mom likes him, then what's the problem?"

She sighed. "I can't stand him. He's obnoxious. And I swear if he stands me up on another date, I'll kill him."

"Killing isn't nice Liz." He chuckled.

"I know that." She smiled. "But now my mom wants me to marry this guy because she thinks he's sooooo perfect for me." She said mockingly. "All I ever wanted was to make her proud, but it seems that everything I do is wrong."

"And you think that he's sooooo not perfect for you." He reasoned.

"Exactly." She tilted her head back to look at him. "You know, you're very easy to talk to."

He smiled down at her before kissing her forehead. "Thank you. But now it's my turn."

"What secrets are you hiding from me Max Evans?" She teased.

"Okay. Well, I'm sort of involved with someone too." He said slowly. "But before you say anything, you need to know that if I could I wouldn't be in the relationship." He rushed ahead.

She frowned. "What do you mean? It's forced or something?"

He bobbed his head in a nod. "Yeah, you could say that. You see, my father, like I said, is a lawyer and he has this client, Edward Harding. He's my father's biggest client. And good old Ed happens to have a daughter. Or the devil's spawn as I like to call her."

"Max, that's mean." She said, swatting his arm.

"Oh, you wouldn't be saying that if you knew her. Anyway, Ed would do anything to keep her happy and unfortunately what keeps her happy is me. At first I was okay with being with her, but after a couple of months she just turned into this....this...thing. She's so annoying. I swear I want to strangle her." He explained.

"Strangling isn't nice Max." She laughed. He rolled his eyes. "Why don't you break up with her?"

"I can't. My father is paying for my tuition and if I break up with her than he'll stop coughing up the money. I work all I can, but it's still isn't enough to pay for eveything on my own. And I can't get any loans or assitance because my father has connections everywhere. I swear as soon as I graduate or get a better paying job I'm dumping her ass on the street."

"There's no way you can get out of it?"

He shook his head. "Not if I want to stay in school. Can you believe she wants to move in with me?" He snorted. He looked down at her. "You know, you're easy to talk to also." He smiled.

"Thank you."

"Liz, why don't you stop trying to please your mother and do want you want to do?" He asked.

She shrugged. "I don't know. I just want to make her happy, you know?"

He grabbed her hand, lacing his fingers with hers. "I know. But you can't sacrafice your own happiness for hers."

"You are." She looked up at him, seeing the hurt in his eyes. "I'm sorry."

He brushed it off. "It's okay. I'm only doing it cause I need the money. But you, Liz.....You don't have to be tied down to Kyle. You can be free to have who ever you want to."

"And what if I want you?" She asked softly.

"Then you have me." He cupped her cheek with his free hand and leaned down to brush his lips against hers. She let go of his hand and wrapped her arms around his neck, shifting so that they were laying on the couch.

His tongue sweeped across her bottom lip and she pulled back. "Wait. What about Tess? And your father?"

"Screw them." He said from above her as he moved his lips down her jaw line.

"Wait." He lifted his head to look at her. "So what are we going to do?"

He smiled an devilish smile that made her want to jump him now. "As far as anyone else knows, we're friends."

She smiled. "And behind closed doors?"

"We're friends with benefits." He answered.

"Lots and lots of benefits I hope."

"Of course."

She pulled him back down to her, parting her lips, granting his tongue access. She gave into him, relaxing completely under his touch.

"Liz Parker," He mumbled as he nibbled on her lip. "As if giving me a head injury wasn't enough, you had to go and steal my heart."

She giggled. "You're so corny."

"Blame it on Roswell."
***********

Maria stumbled out of her room around nine that morning, her shoe in hand. When she came home last night, she could see that Max and Liz were asleep on the couch, but she couldn't tell whether they were dressed or not and she really didn't feel like seeing anyone naked right now.

"Hey!! I am coming into the living room!!" She yelled, banging her shoe against the wall. "Anyone who... is naked, or close to it, please dress.... yourself before I enter!!" She shouted slowly as if it would have a better affect. When she heard no movement, she cautiously stepped into the living room. Covering her eyes with her hand, she made her way towards the couch.

She banged her shoe against the coffee table. "I am standing..... right in front of you!! Wake up..... and put on some clothes!!" She was met with silence. Liz was always a heavy sleeper and by the looks of it Max was too. She peeked through her fingers and sighed in relief when she found that they were fully clothed.

"Awww." She sighed as she took in the scene before her.

Max laid on his side, his back against the back of the couch, his arm outstretched, pillowing Liz's head. His other arm disappeared under her shirt, curving around her waist. Liz was on her side, facing him, her arm thrown over his waist, her hand buried inside his back pocket. Their legs were tangled together, Liz's bare legs intertwining with Max's jean clad ones.

Maria hurried into the kitchen, grabbing the Polaroid camera they always kept on top of the refringerator. She snapped two pictures of them. One from in front of the couch, showing Max's face and one from behind the couch, showing Liz's. She wrote something on the back and placed them in Max's hand. The phone rang startling her and she ran to get it so it wouldn't disurb them.

"Hello?" Maria said into the phone.

"Maria?"

"Hi. Mrs. Parker."

"Maria is Liz there?"

"Um....yeah, but she's sleeping. What can I do for you Mrs. P?"

"Could you tell her that I'm coming over this afternoon? I need to talk to her."

"Sure thing." Maria was met with the dial tone. "Rude much." She muttered. Personally she didn't care for Liz's mom, but she had always avoided conflict with her, knowing how intimidating she got.

Wrinting the message next to the phone, she then left and got ready to go out to eat breakfast with Isabel.
*************

"Morning handsome." Liz purred as she began to stir an hour later.

"Morning beauitful." He kissed her sweetly. "Sleep well?"

"Best sleep I've ever had." She smiled. She could get use to waking up and seeing his face in the morning.

Turning in his arms, she pressed her back into his chest. "What's this?" She said, spotting the pictures in his hand. She grabbed them and sat up, he followed, grabbing her around the waist and sitting her in his lap.

They smiled at the pictures.

"What's on the back?" He asked.

Liz flipped it over and read, "This is how it's supposed to be. You guys are too cute." Liz rolled her eyes. "I bet Maria did this."

"I'm not mad at her." He mumbled, planting soft kisses against her neck.

"Max...." She giggled. "That tickles." She said wiggling away from him. "I'm keeping this one. You can have this one." She said, handing him the one of her.

"Okay miss bossy. But, what if I wanted the one of me?" He teased.

"Tough luck." She pinched his cheek. "Look at this face, it's so adorable. Now I can look at you whenever I want." She cooed.

"Liiizzzz." He whined as he swatted her hand away.

She laughed and pulled his lips down to hers. But before things got too heated, the front door swung open, revealing Maria and Isabel.

Max and Liz jumped apart, trying to look as normal as possible.

"Okay." Isabel said slowly. "There are three things wrong with this situation." She put up one finger. "One, that's not Kyle you're making out with. Two, you seem to know and/or don't care that that's not Kyle you're making out with. And three, you're mother is going to flip when she comes over here and sees this and I'm not going to be here when she does."

Liz rolled her eyes and smoothed down her hair. "Isabel this is Max and Max this.....wait. Did you say that my mother was coming here? And did you know she was coming last night?" She asked, turning her gaze to her very forgetful roommate.

Maria moved to sit in the overstuffed chair across from them. "She called eariler yesterday and said that she was coming. You weren't here when she called and I forgot to tell you. After the movie was over I came back and I let her in. I left to go to a party with Isabel. They must have stayed here and waited. And then she called this morning while you two were sleeping."

"Damn it, I really don't feel like dealing with her." She muttered.

Max pulled her against his chest, stroking her hair soothingly. "Do you what me to stay here with you?"

She sighed and relaxed into his chest. "No. I'll be fine."

"What's going on here?" Isabel whispered to Maria, gesturing towards Max and Liz.

"Don't know."

"I'm going to head out. Call me later okay?" Max said.

"Okay." He kissed her on her forehead and walked to the door.

"Nice meeting you Isabel. Nice seeing you again Maria. And thanks for the picture."

"Bye Max." They all said in unison.

As soon as Max closed the door behind him, Maria and Isabel pounced.

"Okay what happened last night? You two were looking pretty cozy on the couch."

Liz relayed the events of last night in detail, much to her own protest.

"So what about this Max guy? What are you two going to do if he has a girlfriend and you're invovled with Kyle?" Isabel asked.

"I'm breaking up with Kyle and Max can't get out of this thing with his father, so we decided that we would see each other secretly."

"I don't know Liz. I really don't like this." Isabel said.

"I think it's great. Finally you're seeing that you deserve better than Kyle and Max is as good as it gets." Maria commented. She suddenly let out a squeal. "It's like Romeo and Juilet. Forbidden love. It'll be a challenge, but it'll be well worth it."

"Love?" Isabel questioned. "Liz doesn't even know this guy. How can you be in love with him?" She reasoned.

Liz sighed, falling back against the couch, her eyes glazing over with a dreamy haze. "He's so wonderful. He feels so good. He feels so right. I've already fallen for him. And I've fallen hard."

Maria sighed dreamily, while Isabel groaned. "Fine. Fall in love with a complete starnger." She stood and headed towards the door. "Just don't get me tangled up in this." She swung the door open. And on the other side was Kyle and Mrs. Parker, her hand raised, ready to knock.

"Good afternoon Isabel. I'm here to knock some sense into my daughter."

: Getting the sticks out of their a** would be good, but both only care about themselves. So it wouldn't do much good.

Hey guys. I hope you haven't forgotten about this story. :? So here's what happened. I'm still stuck on writing this chapter, but I figured I've made you guys (if there's anyone still reading) wait too long. And I think that if I got feedback on this then I might have an idea of here I want to take this based on the feedback. So here's half of the next chapter. Sorry it's so short. Hope you enjoy! :D

Chapter 8

"Um...Hi, Mrs. Parker. Hi Kyle." Isabel said nervously. "I was just leaving. Uh...see you later." She brushed passed them, hurrying down the hall. She definitely didn't want to be there when Mrs. Parker found out that Liz was breaking up with Kyle.

Mrs. Parker walked into the living room, with Kyle following closely behind her.

"Maria would you please leave us to have a talk with Liz?" She asked, her nose high in the air as if she was better than they were.

Maria looked to Liz and only when she nodded, she got up and headed into her room.

Liz sat up straight, tensing as her mother came closer, sitting in the chair across from her. Kyle moved to sit next to Liz, reaching out to grab her hand. Liz quickly stood, moving away from them both. "What is it that you want?" She said coldly, folding her arms in front of her chest. She only wished that she had let Max stay with her. Some how he made her stronger, he made it okay to stand up for herself. In just one night, he showed her that she deserved better than Kyle and her mother.

"We came so that you can get your priorities straight. Kyle knows about what happened last night and he's willing to forgive you if you agree to marry him." He mother said as if it were supposed to be the best news in the world to Liz.

"What?!?!! My priorities!?!? Who are you to tell me what my priorities are?!? And I'm sure as hell not marrying him!!!" She roared, pointing her finger at Kyle as she backed away.

"You owe it to me. Since you were cheating on me." Kyle spoke up for the first time. He had to nerve to actually sound bitter.

Liz exploded with anger, her knuckles turning white as she balled her hands into tight fists. "I OWE YOU!!! WHAT THE FUCK IS THAT!!! ALL OF THOSE TIMES YOU STOOD ME UP, ALL OF THOSE TIMES YOU SAID THAT YOU WERE 'BUSY' OR YOU 'FORGOT'!! I OWE YOU!! YOU'VE GOT TO BE FUCKING KIDDING ME!!!"

"Do not raise your voice at your fiancé!" Mrs. Parker stated harshly. "This all because of that boy that was over here yesterday! He poisoned your mind!!"

"GET OUT!!" She growled, stomping over to the door and yanking it open.

"What??? " Her mother sputtered.

"Get the hell out!! Both of you!" She shouted, turning burning eyes on her mother who sat dumbfounded in the recliner. "Hello, am I not screaming loud enough for you?!? Do you need me to help you?!? Because I'll gladly throw you out myself!!!" She yelled once they made no more to leave.

Mrs. Parker jumped up, striding over to her fuming daughter. "Elizabeth Parker!! Don't you dare speak to your mother that way!!” Her mother commanded.

But Liz wasn't at all intimidated. Not anymore. "You're not my mother!! A mother wouldn't force her daughter into doing something that she didn't want to do!! A mother wouldn't call her daughter a whore at every chance she got!! A MOTHER WOULDN'T CHOOSE AN ARROGENT PIECE OF SHIT OVER HER OWN DAUGHTER!!" Her chest heaved in anger, her face red as she fought to keep her hands at her side and not lash out at her. "All my life I've never been good enough for you. You've always found a way to find fault in every little thing I did. And I'm sick of this shit. I'm living the way I want to and I'm loving the way I want to. And if that doesn't include you then that's fine with me. But if you can't learn to respect me or my friends then I never want to see you again." Liz was amazed at how eerily calm and steady her voice was. She never knew that she had the power to stand up to her mother. And it felt so good to finally get everything out.

Mrs. Parker hoisted her purse strap farther up on her shoulder, and held her head high. "Fine, Elizabeth. If that's the way you want it. But one day you'll see that I was right and that Kyle is the one for you. And when you do I'll be waiting." She said before she walked out the door and down the hallway.

Kyle stood, breezing pass Liz as if this whole situation didn't disturb him at all. "Whenever you're done with your fuck buddy, call me." He said slyly. And before he knew what hit him, Liz wound up her fist, slamming him in his jaw. Kyle stumbled back, clearing the way for Liz to slam the door in his face.

She had the satisfaction of hearing him groan as the door hit him.

"Liz?" Maria called as she poked her head out from her room.

"What?" She barked as she paced the length of the living room.

"Are you okay?" Maria asked as she slowly stepped out into the hallway. She had never seen Liz so angry and she had never heard her raise her voice to anyone. And now that she had seen it, she was glad that she had never been on Liz's bad side. It was quite frightening.

"Just leave me alone." She muttered as she stiffly walked passed her and into her room, slamming the door behind her.
***********

Max practically floated home after leaving Liz's dorm. Only after one night with her, he had fallen hard. And he wasn't planning on getting up anytime soon. He took his time getting back to his own dorm, basking in everything around him. He even strolled through the park twice before leisurely making his way back. The world just seemed so colorful now that he had found love.

He knew that it was corny, but that was how he felt and he never wanted it to stop.

Max entered his dorm, a soft smile playing on his lips. His mind was focused on how good it felt to have Liz in his arms, all night. How her lips tasted and how he couldn't wait to taste them again.

But his sweet thoughts were cut short when he heard a squeaky voice.

"Where the hell were you last night?!" Tess questioned angrily from the kitchen.

He sighed and made his way over to the couch. "I was out with Michael and Alex." He answered calmly. Leave it to Tess to bring him down from his high.

She simply scowled and handed him the phone. Max blinked, knowing exactly who was on the other end.

Reluctantly, he grabbed the phone and put it against his ear. "Hi dad." He said wearily.

"What the hell are you doing?!"

He perched himself on the arm of the couch. "I'm breathing. What about you?" He smirked as he heard his father's curse on the other end.

"Look Max, I don't want to play games with you!! I swear if you fuck this up......"

"You'll pull your funding. I know." He said mockingly. "I'm not breaking up with her."

"I know you're not. And you're helping her move in your dorm this weekend." He said firmly.

"What!?!? You gotta be shitting me!! Isn't it bad enough that I have....."

"Maxwell, I will not tolerate you disrespecting Tess or myself." He scolded. "You will...."

He jumped up from the arm of the couch in disbelief. "Disrespecting you and Tess?!? What about your disrespect to me?! Tess is out fucking everyone she sees on the damned street and you're blackmailing your own son to be with some stupid bitch just so that you can rub elbows with the Hardings!! I think that qualifies under the category of disrespect!!" He spat out bitterly.

"Maxwell, you will learn to respect me and learn to talk to me as an adult and not like some bum off the street. Tess is moving in with you and that's final. Do I make my......" He was cut off when Max hung up the phone, throwing it across the room. It sailed in the air until it came in contact with the wall, smashing it into pieces. The broken pieces and the phone fell to the floor.

"What the hell is wrong with you!?" Tess ranted stepping in Max's face. "How dare you say those things about me!?”

"Easy. They're true. You're a slut and he's a dick. See? Easy. Or is that to complicated for you?"

She snorted. "I doesn't matter. You'll change you're mind once I'm living here." She said sweetly, rubbing her hand across his chest.

Max balled up his fists, praying to God to give him enough strength not to strangle her. "Tess if you don't get your filthy hands off of me, I swear I will do something that we both will regret. Just get out of my way." He growled.

"No! I don't deserve to be talked to like that. And you still haven't told me where you were last night."

Max let out a growl of frustration before pushing pass her and storming out of the dorm.

TBC.....

That's all I have. Let me know what you think.

Eccentric One: Hi Kara. You're right, Max is very talented if he can perform with the gerbil underneath him, but he did what he had to do. :?
Strawbehrry Shortcake: I can't wait to see what I have planned either because I really haven't figured it out yet.
Milla: Strangling her would be a good way to get rid of Tess, but I think that's illigal :(
jason lover 4eva: Thanks for reading!
roswellluver: Thanks for reading!
Behrsgirl77: Hey Tanya. Max won't be under his father for long. And as for Liz coming in second for his attention over Tess, that's not going to happen. :D
Smac: Liz is going to school on a scholarship. Of cousre. Her schooling and room and board are free. And her father basically gives her money when she needs it. (That's about all he does  ) And I was thinking about them moving in together, you'll just have to stay tuned to see if they do. :D
AznGurl87: Don't worry. I know that school is a pain. School's a bitch that's what it is. Only 31 more days until summer vacation! :D :D
SmileeUk: To be honest, I have no idea what "Secret Relations" have to do with them right now. It seemed to fit when I first started writing this story, but I kind of got off track and what I had in mind didn't really work. Now I'm just writing whatever comes to me at the moment. But I'm trying to get it right now and once I find out, then I'll let you know. :)

And last, but not least, thanks to the Lurkers, (if there are any) thanks for reading and I hope you enjoy. :D Now on with the story.

Chapter 9

“Honey, I’m home!!” Michael called as he walked into the apartment.

Alex came strolling out of the kitchen. “Ricky!” He said with arms wide open.

“Lucy!!” Michael shouted as he walked into Alex’s arms, both moving their heads from side to side and making loud kissing noises. “Ethel!” Michael called as he spotted Max slumped on the couch, nursing a beer.

Max rolled his eyes heaven ward. “Why must I surround myself with crazy people? Why couldn’t I have some normal friends?”

“Yeah, well at least we don’t have to live with Tess.” Alex laughed as he walked back into the kitchen. His laughter continued until an empty beer can pelted him on the back of his head. He turned to see Max’s satisfied smile and grumbled as he grabbed his dinner out of the microwave.

“You’re living with Tess? When did this happen?” Michael asked as he moved to the refrigerator to grab a beer.

“I’m not living with her. But my dad did call and demand that I help her move into my dorm this weekend. I can barely stand to see her face a couple of hours a day, but every morning when I wake up….that’s just harsh.” He complained. “But I did get to chew my dad’s ass off.” He smiled proudly.

“So are you moving her in or what?” Alex asked as he came out of the kitchen with his hot TV dinner.

He sighed. “No. But I need to talk to Liz.”

Michael and Alex exchanged looks, before turning back to Max. “Um…what does Liz have to do with any of this?” Michael gasped at the look on Max’s face. “You two are together aren’t you?” Max only nodded, his thoughts going back to how right Liz had felt in his arms....all night long. He fingered the picture that Maria had taken of them in his pocket, a small smile formed on his lips.

“Whoa. He’s got that look. You got laid last night didn’t you?” Alex accused with a mouthful of corn. “You just met her like two seconds ago.”

“She’s not like that. And yes we’re sort of together. But you can’t tell anyone. At least until I find a way to get rid of Tess and my dad. Do you know what my father would do if he found out that I was with Liz?”

“What?” They both said in unison.

“He’d probably blackmail her too. Or do something to make both of our lives miserable. He could screw around with her records, get her into some deep shit and knowing my father, he’d do it, if he had to.” He felt his phone vibrating in his pocket and he quickly shut off his phone, knowing that it was his father.

“That’s some fucked up shit.” Alex muttered.

“Fucked up shit. That’s bad Maxwell.” Michael commented, gulping down his beer.

Max turned to him with narrowed eyes. “No Michael. I thought my situation was just a bed of roses wafting in the breeze.” He said sarcastically.

“Wow, very poetic Max.” Alex praised.

“Yeah, I’m trying to bring out the artist in me.” Michael raised an eyebrow and Max saw this. “What? Okay fine, I got it off of The View.” He said and again Michael raised his brow in question. “Alex made me watch it.” He said, pointing an accusing finger at Alex.

His mouth opening and closing a few times before he could speak, Alex said. “No I didn’t.” He bowed his head as he pouted. “It was Oprah. And she was doing giveaways today.” He mumbled quietly.

Michael rolled his eyes, making a mental note to give Alex a hard time on the subject later. “So what are you going to do about Tess and Liz?”

Max rubbed his forehead with the ball of his palm. “I don’t know. All I know is that I want Tess out and I want Liz in.” Michael and Alex burst into laughter at his choice of words and he squinted his eyes as he thought about what he’d just said. “That’s not what I meant. Get your minds out of the gutter.” He scolded as he got up to get another beer. “Mind if I crash here for a couple of days. I know Tess has more than likely glued herself to the dorm, waiting for me to get there. I just need a while to figure out what I’m going to do.”

“Couch is all yours.” Alex said, followed by a loud burp.

“You know what you need Maxwell?” Michael said as Max returned to the couch. “To get totally plastered. It’ll make everything clearer.” He said with a knowing smirk.

Max sighed, taking a long swig of his beer. “I have work in the morning. And I don’t feel like going out.”

“Exactly the reason to go.” Alex added. “We’ll call Tess and tell her where you are.” He threatened when Max shook his head in protest.

“What time do we leave?”
****************

“Liz?” Maria called through the wooden door. It had been hours since she’d seen her best friend's face and she was worried that she was in he room drowning herself in her pain over what happened with her mother.

“Come in.” Liz answered softly.

Maria cautiously opened the door, poking her head inside to se Liz sitting against her head board, her pillow pulled tightly to her chest. “Hey chica. How are you feeling?” She asked as she plopped down next to her.

“I’m fine.” She chirped happily, the corners of her mouth lifting up slightly.

“That’s good. I figured you’d be in here brooding over what happened.” Maria said, relaxing to see her so happy.

Suddenly, Liz squealed and pushed herself forward and getting to her feet, jumping excitedly on her bed.

“Uh, Liz? Before I come to the conclusion that you’ve gone crazy, could you tell me why you’re jumping and yelling on your bed?” Maria said, bouncing along with the bed as Liz pranced around her.

Liz did one final jump and squeal before jumping off the bed and turning to her confused friend. “Maria, don’t you get it? I’m free. I can be with anyone I want to now.” Her eyes widened as her smile grew into a full fledged grin. “I can be with Max.” With a dreamy sigh she fell back onto the bed, her eyes glazing over with wistful cloud.

“Liz, I hate to be the one to bring you down from your incredibility high cloud that you’ve floated up to” She said as she waved her hand in front of Liz’s face, snapping her out of whatever fantasy she was in. “But doesn’t Max have a pesky girlfriend to get rid of first.”

“Oh, yeah.” She said, rapidly falling from the cloud that she was happily perched on. “You just had to go and ruin everything didn’t you?” She accused, narrowing her eyes at Maria.

She raised her hands in defense. “Hey, I’m just telling you the truth.” Now she felt bad for opening her mouth in the first place.

Liz rolled to her side to address her. “Maria, why did I have to fall for a stranger caught up some stupid shit like this?”

Maria sighed. “Because Max is perfect for you and from what little I’ve seen of you two together, you belong together. Don’t worry, it’ll work out.” She assured her. “Now, let’s go out. I haven’t been to a party in years.” She said dramatically as she rose from the bed.

“You were out last night.”

“That was like a million years ago. Get dressed and I’ll call Iz. We have some partying to do girl.” She squealed before sauntering out of the room.
*********

“Hey Maxwell. Isn’t that the crazy blond that was at the theater the other night?” Michael asked over the loud club music as he pointed to a petite blond across the room at the bar.

Max squinted his eyes, trying hard to see that far away through his blurred vision. Michael and Alex had successfully gotten him drunk. And Michael was right, he saw everything clearly now. And he knew what he had to do. He had to get Liz and leave the country under the name Juan Calous. Of course they'd have to hammer out the details when he was sober, but to him, it seemed like a resonable solution. And he couldn't understand why Michael and Alex laughed at him every time he brought up the suggestion.

“Thas her. You wan talk to her Michael?”

“Damn, she's hot. What’s her name?” He asked, while his eyes freely roamed her body.

“Maria.” He swayed as he staggered his way to Alex who stood a few feet away. “Did I tell you that Liz is friends with Ishabel?”

“Seriously?” He said, his voice raising an octave higher than it should’ve been. “Is she here?” He asked, his eyes already scanning the dark room. He spotted her standing next to Maria, her hips swaying slightly to the music.

“Should I go over?” He asked Max.

“Go for it.” Max encouraged him as he gulped down his tequila.

He took a step towards her, but then stepped back. “What if she doesn’t like me? What if she thinks I’m geek? What if she blows me off?” He ranted.

Max gave him a pat on the back. “Alex, you’ll never know the if, if you don’t do the what.” He slurred proudly, thinking that he just gave the best advice in the world.

“What?”

“Huh?”

“You’re stupid.”

“I’m drunk.”

Alex rolled his eyes, but quickly sucked in a breath as his eyes met Isabel’s. He gravitated towards her, his eyes never leaving hers. “Hi.” He said as he came up to her.

“Hey.” She smiled. “Don’t I know you?”

He nodded frantically and she laughed at his eagerness. “I-I’m in one of your classes. Alex. Alex Whitman” He said, his head still bouncing up and down.

She laughed again and placed a hand on either side of his head, stopping his movements. “You’re cute.”

He blushed. “And you’re gorgeous. Can I buy you a drink?” He replied, waving to the bartender.

“No.” His smile fell as his heart dropped to his feet. “But you can dance with me.” She grabbed his hand and pulled him out on the dance floor. He gave thumbs up sign to Michael and Max as he trailed behind her.

“Introduce me to Maria man. She’s gorgeous.” Michael said, licking his lips as he watched Maria.

But Max was already gone as he spotted Liz standing behind Maria. He stumbled over to her, the sound of Michael’s calls and the loud music fading into the background as he got closer to her.

“Liz.” He whispered.

“Hey Max.” She smiled.

She was beautiful. Her hair was pulled back from her face in a high ponytail, only a few of the silky strands escaping the band that kept them together. She wore a short red dress, that hugged her just right, leaving him wanting to see what she was hiding under the dress.

He felt someone shaking him and then someone’s throat being cleared. He snapped out his Liz induced stupor and turned to Michael and Maria. “Michael, thish is Maria. Maria thish is Michael.” He leaned in closer to Maria to whisper in her ear. “He thinks you’re hot.” He pulled back, grinning wildly.

“Hey.” Michael said, glaring at Max. “Can I get you something to drink?”

“Sure.” She threw a satisfied grin and mouthed ‘he’s hot’ to Liz before letting Michael usher her to some empty seats at the bar.

As soon as they were gone, Max attacked Liz. First, dragging his tongue over her neck before taking her mouth, lovingly caressing her bottom lip before moving to her top. He pulled away before she could get lost in his kiss.

Peace up!
A Town Down!

“You’re drunk aren’t you?” Liz said trying to hide her amusement. He nodded before pulling her out onto the dance floor as Usher's 'Yeah' started to play.

Yeah, Yeah Yeah, Yeah yeah, Yeaah
Yeah, Yeah yeah, Yeah yeah, Yeaah

She wrapped her arms around his neck as he placed his large hands on her waist, pulling her flush against him. She rubbed her body against his and he hissed in response, tightening his hold on her.

I'm in the club with my homies, tryna get a lil V-I, keep it down
on the low key, cause you know how it feels.
I said shorty she was checkin up on me, from the game she was spittin
my ear you would think that she knew me.
So we decided to chill

Their bodies bumped and grind together with the rhythm of the music. Liz could fell his erection against her center as she rubbed her lower body against his.

Conversation got heavy, she had me feelin like she's ready to blow!
(Watch Out!, Watch Out!)
She saying come get me, come get me,
So I got up and followed her to the floor, she said baby lets go,
When I told her I said

Her hands slid down his hard body and back up under his shirt. “You’re killing me Liz.” He growled as she dragged her nails over the heated skin of his chest.

Yeah (yeah) Shorty got down and said come and get me
Yeah (yeah) I got so caught up I forgot she told me
Yeah (yeah) Her and my girl used to be the best of homies
Yeah (yeah) Next thing I knew she was all up on me screaming:

Yeah, Yeah yeah, Yeah yeah, Yeaah
Yeah, Yeah yeah, Yeah yeah, Yeaah

Her hands brushed against his nipple and he let out a painful groan as his head fell forward, his teeth sinking into her shoulder to keep from crying out. Her hands roamed his upper body as she bumped and rubbed against his lower half.

Shes all up in my head now, got me thinking that it might good idea
to take her with me,
Cause she's ready to leave.
Now I gotta keep it real now, cause on a one-to-ten she's a certified
twenty, and that just aint me.

Cause I know if I take that chance just where is it gonna lead,

The room got hotter as the couple continued to dance, completely forgetting they were in a public club. The desire and need cnsumed they, wrapping them and holding on tight.

But what I knew is the way she dance makes shorty alright with
me.
The way she getting low!
I'm like yeah, just work that out for me.
She asked for one more dance and I'm
Like yeah, how the hell am I supposed to leave?
And I said

Yeah (yeah) Shorty got down and said come and get me
Yeah (yeah) I got so caught up I forgot she told me
Yeah (yeah) Her and my girl used to be the best of homies
Yeah (yeah) Next thing I knew she was all up on me screaming:

Yeah, Yeah yeah, Yeah yeah, Yeaah
Yeah, Yeah yeah, Yeah yeah, Yeaah

Max slid his hands own the length of her body to cup her ass, pulling her as close as she could possibly get.

Watch out!
My outfit's ridiculous, In the club lookin' so conspicuous.
And Rowl! These women all on the prowl, if you hold the head steady
I'm a milk the cow.
Forget about the game I'm a spit the truth, I won't stop till I get
em in they birthday suits.

Liz twisted in his arms, keeping up the rhythm of the beat. She placed her hands on her hips and Max covered her hands with hers, moving body at the same pace as his.

So gimmie the rhythm and it'll be off with they clothes, then bend
over to the front and touch your toes.
I left the jag and I took the roles, if they aint cutting then I put
em on foot patrol.
How you like me now, when my pinky's valued over three hundred
thouSAND,
Lets drank you the one to please, Ludacris fill cups like double
d's.
Me and Ush once more and we leave em dead, we want a lady in the street
but a freak in the bed to say

His lips latched on to her neck, taking the soft skin between his teeth, rough enough to make her hiss and gentle enough to make her arch her back in satisfaction.

“God, Max.” She moaned.

Before she knew what was happening, Max grabbed her hand and yanked her off the dance floor and out the nearest exit.

Take that and rewind it back, Lil' Jon got the beat make ya booty
go (clap)
Take that and rewind it back, Ursher got the voice make ya booty
go (clap)
Take that and rewind it back, Ludacris got the flow make ya booty
go (clap)
Take that and rewind it back, Lil' Jon got the beat make ya booty
go (clap)

“Your place or mine.”

“Which ever one is closer.” She answered breathlessly.

She reached into his pocket, deliberately brushing her hand against his arousal as she fished around for his keys. She took longer than she really needed, making him squirm with anticipation.

“Liz, if you don’t stop, I’ll take you right here.” He said through gritted teeth.

She giggled at his frustration and pulled him towards his jeep. Within minutes, Liz led a stumbling Max up to her dorm. He kept his control until they got inside the door.

He crushed his body to hers, moving towards the couch while gently sucking her bottom lip between his full lips. He groaned as they tumbled onto the couch, and Liz pressed her small body close to his. He released her lips, regarding her with a hooded gaze.

“We....We don’t have to do anything if…..” He was cut off when she pressed her lips to his. He was thankful that she did, because he wouldn’t know what to do if she didn’t want this as bad as he did. She grabbed the collar of his shirt as she started to rock her body, simulating the movement that would take away the ache that she felt between her legs.

“Ahhhh…Liz.” He hissed. His hands roamed up under her shirt, his fingers playing at the clasp of her bra.

Suddenly, she pulled away and sat up, her breath coming in short labored pants. “We shouldn’t be doing this. At least not when you’re still with Tess.” She said, running a frustrated hand through her hair.

He stood, nodding his head. “I’m leaving her Liz. I can’t do it anymore. I think…. I’m in love with you." He looked to her to judge her reaction, but her face was blank and he was frigtened that he just ruined everything And I know we’ve only just met, and you probably don't feel the same, but I can’t help it. I fell for you the first time I saw you.” He confessed.

His erection pressing painfully against his jeans. It didn’t help that she was sitting on the couch looking as sexy as ever. Her hair was disheveled, her lips swollen and red, and her chest heaving up and down. Up and down. Up and do….

He turned away, swearing that he would never drink again if it got him this horny. But he didn’t have to be drunk to notice how stunningly beautiful Liz was.

She stood and walked over to him. She placed her hand on his arm and he turned around. She gasped at the intense longing and desire in his eyes and her aching only increased and she felt the hot wet liquid in between her thighs.

“I love you too.” She whispered before she fell into him again, running her tongue teasingly over his bottom lip. His hands cupped her ass, picking her up off the ground and she wrapped her legs around her waist. He began walking down the hallway, never once breaking their hungry kisses. He went into the first room he could find, shutting the door behind him.

Chapter 10

Liz had never felt so good in her life. And he hadn’t even done anything yet.

Max laid her gently on the bed before climbing on top of her, again taking her lips into his own. Her hot core tightened as she rubbed her body against his trying desperately to satisfy her need for him.

“Are…are you sure you want this Liz?” He asked against her lips.

“Max…..please.” She gasped. Never in her life had she needed someone so much as she did him right now. He was driving her crazy as he ran his tongue over her cheek and down the underside of her jaw until he came to her neck. She buried her hands in his hair, her nails massaging his scalp as she tilted her head to grant him better access.

“So sweet.” He sighed as he nibbled on her skin. She untangled her fingers from his hair only to move them to the hem of his shirt. She pulled it up and his lips lost contact with her neck just long enough for her to discard the shirt.

He finally detached himself from her neck turning his darkened gaze to hers. “I want to see you Liz. All of you.” He breathed as he hovered over her, his lust filled eyes making her quiver with desire. He sat up, bringing her with him and she raised her arms, letting him pull her dress up and over her head, leaving her in a black bra and black panties. She only wished that she had worn something sexier.

Max licked his lips, taking in the sight of her. He reached behind her, grabbing the band that confined her hair into her pony tail. Tugging gently, he released her hair and he watched in wonder as the silky, brown locks fell around her shoulders. His arm snaked around her waist and he gently pushed her back against the bed, her breast covered in the thin material coming in contact with his bare chest. He dipped his head, running his tongue over the swell of her breast while his hand expertly worked on the clasp of her bra. Once he unhooked the clasp, he threw the cloth over his shoulder and pulled back as her breast spilled out and into his awaiting hands.

“So gorgeous.” He breathed before taking one stiff nipple into his mouth while his hand kneaded the other. His tongue swirled around her nipple, nipping teasingly as his hand gently pinched the other, causing her to arch upwards in pleasure.

“Oh God.” She whimpered as she pushed against his head, trying to bring him closer. “Max….”

He switched breast, giving it the same attention as its double. His hands still lovingly kneading her breast, he kissed his way up her chest, pausing to pay attention to her collarbone before moving up her neck and back to her lips. Her tongue darted out to meet his, tasting Max and alcohol and it was all she needed before she felt her hot juices soaking her panties.

Liz flipped them over, trapping him under her, his large hands resting on her hips. She moved away from his puffy lips, making her own trail of kisses down his neck. Her hands traveled down his chiseled chest, dragging her nails over his wash board abs before her fingers latched on to the waist line of his pants.

“Ahhh…shit Liz.” He groaned as her hand brushed against his arousal as she searched for his zipper. Giggling at his obvious frustration, she moved her mouth down his body, capturing his rigid nipple between her teeth as she unzipped his jeans and pushed them and his boxers down to his knees. He managed to shrug them the rest of the way off.

“Oh God!!” He grunted as her center rocked against his straining cock.

Liz paused from her concentration on his chest to take in the gorgeous man lying flushed underneath her. “Are you gonna fit?” She gasped as her eyes roamed over his large member.

He could see the hunger in her eyes and it was driving him insane. With a low growl, he flipped her over, his eyes burning with passion and yearning, his teeth clenched as he tried to get a grasp on his control. He didn’t want to rush this, but he didn’t think he could wait any longer as he stared at her stunning body underneath him.

“Please Max…..I need you.” She begged. And he complied quickly, practically tearing off her soaked panties and positioning himself over her.

He regarded her with a sharp gaze, silently asking her if she really wanted this. She nodded and grabbed his tight ass, cupping his cheeks as she tried to pull him down on her.

“Protection, Liz.” He reminded gently.

“The pill.” She answered tightly. “Max…please.” She whimpered.

“Look at me love.” He requested as he was just centimeters from her core. Her eyes locked with his, and he lowered himself into her. “Ahh fuck!” Their bodies rocked together, finding their rhythm as their moans and sighs of pleasure echoed around them.

“I feel so full.” She breathed as she bucked her hips to meet his.

“You’re beautiful Liz.” He sighed.

He fused his lips with hers, quieting their moans as their hips moved together in a perfect dance. Her arms went around his waist, gripping at the skin of his back, her nails digging into the soft flesh.

“Max....oh God. …Max…” She hissed as she came closer to her climax. She squeezed her eyes shut as her walls contracted around him.

“Cum for me love. Look at me, I want to see you fall apart in my arms.” He whispered.

She opened her eyes as he asked, staring into his golden gaze as a wave of pleasure crashed over her. “Ahhh…Max….I’m com…ing.” Her muscles tightened as her sweet nectar exploded from within her. “Oh God Maaaaxxxxxx!!!” She cried out as she reached her peak. She arched upwards, her fingers digging into his back, surely leaving some marks.

“Shit…Liz….” He hissed. Watching her fall apart, brought on his orgasm. His head fell forward into her neck as he exploded, his cry muffled against her neck. “Liiiiizzzz!!” He continued to rock with her as his seed continued to spill.

Finally, he collapsed into a heap on top of her, feeling sated as he panted to catch his breath.

“You okay?” He asked as he buried his cheek into her neck.

She whimpered in protest as he pulled out of her but nodded eagerly. “You?”

“Very okay.” He smiled. “Am I too heavy for you?” He asked, not really wanting to get off of her, but would if he was too heavy.

“You’re perfect.” She sighed, tightening her arms around him.

“Mmm….I hope I remember this in the morning.” He mumbled, his forefinger dancing lazily over her hip.

“If not, we can always do a repeat performance.” She purred.

He smiled sleepily. “I’ll be looking forward to it.” He sighed as his eyes fell to half-mast.

She giggled as she pushed his bangs back from his forehead. “Tired, Evans?”

“And drunk. Wanna do it again?” He smiled.

She laughed and slapped him gently on his shoulder. “You’re such a guy.” She declared.

“I would hope so.” He quipped, his cock already stiffening.

“I thought you were tired.” She replied huskily as she bucked her hips triggering a groan from him.

“Obviously, I’m not.” He countered. He let his large hands wander over her body, lightly caressing her soft skin. She shivered under his touch as his hands moved to her breasts, kneading the firm molds.

“What do you want Liz?” He whispered in her ear.

She moaned as his tongue darted out to trace the rim of her ear. “I-I want y-you…” She stuttered.

“You have me.” He nibbled and sucked his way down her neck, leaving marks with his hot open mouth kisses. His tongue danced over her lips lovingly and he took his time making his way towards her puckered nipples.

His hand traveled south, until he came to her dark, soft curls. Burying his fingers into her curls, he let one disappear into her. She gasped, her head falling back in pleasure. He added another, moving them out before thrusting them back in. She pulled at his hair, desperate to bring his lips back to hers. He complied, his passionate kisses quieting her moans as his fingers drove inside of her.

“Max….Oh my God….I’m…I’m not…” She pulled him back down to her as she mounted, her juices coating his fingers. Her kisses were fierce until she fell back in exhaustion.

Max removed his fingers, licking them clean. “So sweet.” He sighed. “Tired yet?” He asked as he brushed back her sweat drenched hair.

“Hardly.” She retorted. She positioned herself on top of him, body covering the length of his.

“What do you want Max.” She whispered in his ear, before biting the rim of his ear gently. She reached between them, wrapping her slender fingers around his straining cock. She smiled when he grunted.

“Shit…” Came his mumbled reply as she began to move her hand up and down, stroking his prominent arousal. “I want you.” He croaked.

“What was that Max?” She whispered, her tone amused. She took advantage of the access and attached her lips to his neck. “Do you want it Max?”

He rocked his hips as he brought his hands to grip her waist. “God….Liz. Yes…please.”

She smiled against his heated flesh. “Please what?” She said as she quickened the pace of her hand.

“Shit… I need t-to be inside you.” He hissed.

“Do you?”

“Fuck….yes!! I want you.” He growled. He threw his head back in pleasure as her thumb brushed against the tip, causing a drop of his milky seed to escape.

“Little ole me?” She mocked sweetly.

“Damn it!!” He snarled. With the speed of lightening, he flipped them and stared down at her with hooded eyes. He plunged into her, pushing to her limit before pulling out and propelling forward again with a grunt. She captured his lips in a blazing kiss as they reached their climax together, both crying out as they came into ecstasy.

He slid off of her once he regained enough strength. Rolling over, he took her with him, stretching his arm to pillow her head. He pulled the sheets from below them and wrapped his free arm around her waist, pulling her safely against his chest.

“You wore me out Parker.” He sighed. “Hmm…Mind if I pass out now?” He teased, but his eyes were already falling shut.

“As long as you’re up early enough to make it up to me.” She said, stroking back his damp hair.

“Definitely.” He leaned in and placed a tender kiss on her lips. “I love you.” He murmured as he started to slip off into a peaceful slumber.

“I love you too.” She returned. It wasn’t long before his breathing evened out and his quiet snore could be heard through his slightly parted lips.

“Mmmm…..Liz.” He slurred in his sleep as she kissed his lips and then the tip of his nose. His arm curled around her tighter and she settled against him, her breast pressing against his chest. “So gorgeous.” He mumbled between soft snores.

She giggled and rolled her eyes. Even in his sleep he made her feel special. She smiled and closed her eyes, drifting off to join him in slumber.
