Summary: Starts during harvest in Copper Summit, the whole gang plus Courtney is in the room full of skins together. Liz isn't standing near Max but near Michael. Nicholas hasn't seen Liz before she entered the room. Michael has always been in love with Liz but because of Max he has never tried anything. Liz has a crush on Michael, and Nicholas can send energyblasts.

The skins where surrounding them. Max had his shield up but it was taking a lot of power from him. Tess took Max his hand into hers and tried to lend him some of her energy. The instant Tess touched him the shield failed. Max stumbled back and fell against Michael. Nicholas stepped forward and Max jumped away from Michael before he wrapped his hands around Nicholas his neck. The skins tried to attack to save their childlike leader.

“Come closer and I’ll kill him.”

Max said before squeezing Nicholas his neck. Nicholas’ eyes went through the room trying to find a way to get away from Max when his eyes landed on Liz.

“Katoné” He whispered. Max looked down at him.

“What did you say?”
Nicholas ignored the man strangling him as best as he could his eyes never leaving Liz.

“Katoné” He said again, this time loud enough for the other skins to hear him.

They surprised Max when they all kneeled down. His grip on Nicholas his neck loosened.

“Katoné, please help me.” Nicholas begged. His hands that had been trying to get Max’s hand off his neck fell down next to his body when he realised that the name he used was as alien to her as to any human.
Before Max could react Nicholas send an energy ball to Liz who had come out from behind Michael. Michael jumped in front of Liz but he was too late. The energy past him, it hit his arm before it hit Liz.

“Liz!”
Max yelled and tightened his hands around Nicholas his neck. He turned his head down so he could look at Nicholas.
“You’ll pay for this, you little bastard.”

Maria had pulled Michael’s body towards her as he laid on the floor next to Liz her body. She was going into panic mode when Michael suddenly opened his eyes. He looked up to the crying blond before pushing her away from him.

“Michael?”

He heard Maria ask; he turned his attention to the brown haired girl and got up. He walked over to her and saw her open her eyes. He heard Maria ranting behind him as he offered his hand to Liz to help her up.
Liz looked around the room feeling disoriented. Her eyes landed on Max and Nicholas as Michael pulled her into his arms.

“Let him go Zan.” She said. Max turned around, not letting go of Nicholas.

“Liz?”

“I said let him go.” Stunned he let Nicholas fall to the ground.

Nicholas rubbed his sore neck before saying. “Thanks, my queen.”

“I’m the queen.” Tess her head snapped back to Nicholas.

Nicholas got up and walked pass a stunned Max.

“Keep telling yourself that.”

He told her as he walked passed her and kneeled down in front of Liz.

“Katoné, rightful queen of Antar. Please forgive me for hitting you with an energy ball and please keep the general from killing me.”

Liz smiled at him and then at Michael before saying.

“You know the general is always trying to protect me, but you must know by now that he doesn’t take orders from anybody. Now tell me how is my brother?”

She motioned him to stand up. She linked her arm with Michael’s and they started to walk away from the others. Nicholas walked next to her as he answered.

“Khivar is fine my queen. He was thinking that all was lost when they came here. But when he realised that they had also send Lonnie and Rath he started to hope again.”
Liz nodded to him.
“Get back here, he’s trying to mess with your head!” Max seemed to recover from his shock and yelled to Michael and Liz.

Liz turned to the skins and commanded “Leave us; take them with you except for Lonnie.”

The skins did as she ordered and pushed the others out of the room. They had to carry Max out, but soon the room was cleared. Liz looked Isabel in the eye before she started talking.

“I know who I am and who I was, I think it’s time for you to know now. Isabel, Lonnie was the best friend of Khivar’s sister. Zan was in love with Khivar’s sister. Rath was Khivar’s best friends and a general in his army. Your and Zan’s parents ruled like tyrants, your brother had taken in there way of life but you, you where different. I was Katoné, Khivar’s sister. I met you and Zan at a party at Rath’s parents. Rath and Khivar had gone into the garden to talk when Zan came up to me. I had noticed that he had been watching me the entire evening. You see, my grandparents had been the king and queen before your parents took the crown from them. Rath’s family had always been royal advisors, well at least until your parents took over the throne. Now at the party Zan suddenly came to me and the first thing he said was that hanging out with a traitor’s son and a royal wanna be wasn’t good for my reputation. Then he told me I was to dance with him and before I could say anything he had pulled me on the dance floor. I didn’t like dancing with him and Nicholas, well then he was called Verinick managed to get me away from Zan. Zan wasn’t happy about that, he stormed over and demanded that I would dance some more with him. The result to that was a shouting match between Zan and Verinick. Lonnie had taken me away from the scene they where creating and we started talking. We walked through the garden telling each other about our lives. We had sat down near the small pond in the garden and that’s where Rath found us. He pulled me into his arms and started asking if I was alright. I introduced him to Lonnie. Zan had been courting me for about a year. While Lonnie and I kept meeting in secret, because Zan didn’t approve of Lonnie being in Khivar’s house. I didn’t feel the same for him; I was in love with someone else. When Zan found out it was Rath I was in love with he made Rath his second and was forcing him to marry Lonnie. He thought if Rath wasn’t available I would forget about him and fall in love with him. Well after that didn’t work he went to Ava. He told her that if she made me fall in love with him he would marry her. Ava agreed and used her powers on me, for about an hour it worked, then I saw Rath and I broke out of Ava’s influence. I told Rath what happened and he pulled me into his arms. Zan came in and got furious and killed me.”

Liz stopped talking and Michael took over.

“He tried to kill me next, he shot me but it didn’t kill me. Lonnie found me later that day and dragged me to her room. She fixed me up and I told her what happened. She promised me then that she would open the gates that night and let us in. I went back to Khivar and had to tell him that the only family he had left was now gone. I told him that I was going to attack Zan that night, how Lonnie was going to help us. We went to the Palace and Lonnie let us in. What we didn’t know was that Ava had felt us come and had warned Zan. When we reached Zan he was surrounded by guards. They shot at us the moment that we stepped into the room, killing Lonnie immediately. I killed most of the guard and Ava. The last thing I remember before dying was Zan taking a shot at Khivar. I jumped in front of Khivar taking the shot.”

Nicholas looked at Liz as if he was asking permission. After she gave him a short nod he continued the story.

“Khivar killed the rest of the guards and Zan. He left Rath and Lonnie’s body with the rest of the body’s as he went to search for his sister’s body. He found it and when he returned to the room where he had left Rath and Lonnie he found them gone together with the bodies of Zan and Ava. It wasn’t until later that we found out that Zan’s mother had sent the body’s to her scientist to have them recreated. After an other year of fighting Khivar took the throne of Antar back. By that time the scientists had sent the recreations away from Antar. Khivar asked his childhood friend Serena to try to recreate Katoné. She used the granolith to do this and after the process was completed the granolith disappeared taking Katoné with it. I was in the room when it happened and the granolith took me and some guards with it. We awoke about 50 years ago in the desert of New Mexico. Serena created these husks for us and she also found a way to communicate with Antar. We’re not really followers of Khivar and the reason for that is that Khivar doesn’t want to be king. He wants Katoné to be queen.”

Nicholas had just finished talking when the door opened and Courtney walked in.

“Néné?” Liz smiled at the nickname.

“Hey Sir.”

The two girls hugged each other.

“They’re going insane out there.” Courtney informed them.

“Well let them in.” Liz answered

Courtney did what Liz asked and after telling the others a short version of what had happened on Antar Isabel took Alex his hand. He looked up at her and nodded before leading her over to stand next to Liz. Maria didn’t move a muscle. After she had seen Michael place a soft kiss on Liz her head she didn’t know what she had to do. She was getting pissed, why did Liz always get the best things. She made a quick decision and stood next to Max. Max and Tess where to stunned to move and Kyle, Kyle looked at Courtney before asking.

“So you’re not in love with Michael or something?”

“No I’m not.”
“Good.”
He said before walking towards her and taking his place next to Michael.

“Liz, you don’t believe this crap now do you?” Maria asked.

“Maria, this isn’t crap, this is who I am.”

Michael took Liz her hand and kissed the top of it. He couldn’t seem to stop touching her.

“My love, I think it’s time to go home.” He said before pulling her lips to his own and kissing her.

Maria and Max where yelling behind them as they walked away. Nicholas quickly informed them that there was a ship that he and Courtney had built. As they walked toward the ship Michael suddenly stopped.

“Liz, why did you pretend to sleep with Kyle?”

“How did you know that I pretended?”

“Because I know you.”

“Oh. It was to save the world.”

“What?!”

“I’ll tell you later. Is everybody coming with us?”

All but one skin answered yes.
Nicholas asked him to explain himself.

“I have a human wife here, one I don’t want to leave.”
Before Nicholas could say anything Liz said.

“Then ask her to come with us.”

“I can’t disturb her life like that.”

“I understand.”

“If her highness would like it, I can give your human parents a cover story.”

“Thank you.”

And with that said, they entered the ship and took of to Antar where after being reunited with her brother Liz led Antar with Michael by her side. After a year on Antar Liz send a ship to Antar to retrieve the parents. Everybody lived happily on Antar. And Maria, Tess and Max stayed on Earth and where never heard of again.
