I don’t know what I really expected from her offer of answers, but mentions of destiny, and an ability, was hardly it…
She introduced herself as Cameron, talking of having found me, and guiding me to someone who can explain. I thought she said she had the answers…
An ability…she had to mean the visions…it’s the only thing I can think of…
Before I have a chance to answer, Max appears, almost as though from nowhere, asking her for a dance. First he dances with Tess, then with this girl…but not with Liz… When are those two going to get their act together, everyone knows they’re stuck on each other it seems except themselves…
With anyone else, even me being me, I might well point out that he is being rather rude – given the fact that I’m in the middle of a conversation with Cameron – or just starting anyway…
As it is Max though, I’m less inclined to do so…plus Cameron seems to want to dance with him, and she does promise to talk more later at some point…
I’m just nodding, showing that it doesn’t bother me, but suddenly it’s as though she’s continuing although her mouth isn’t moving… Just as it was before, her voice is coming through in my head, and as it does so, I find my questions about her, not just myself multiplying.
She and Max head off towards the dance floor and of course little old me is left on my own again… I sigh and shrug. Guess I’m used to it anyway…
As I look around, I notice Liz hurrying across the dance floor. She looks a little worried, and I’m about to go after her but then I see she’s making for the bathroom – off limits to me I’m afraid…
I don’t have much more to do except stand and watch, and I haven’t really moved much when a little while later, I see Liz exit the room with Maria. I think I might know what Liz was worried about when she went into the bathroom now…Maria looks rough…
I begin to make my way over to them, wanting to see if there’s anything I can do to help, but there’s a lot of people in the way, and it seems as soon as I get past one, another three step in the way…
I sigh and shake my head, stopping suddenly as I hear a strange chant fill the air. Suddenly, everything seems to happen at once. People begin screaming, I see some guy going for Cameron… What the…?
Before I even have a chance to finish my thought, Cameron’s voice sounds in my head again, she tells me to repeat after her, and although I don’t have a clue what is going on, I find myself doing just that… “O Mater Luna, Regina nocis, adiuvo me nunc!" The words are strange, yet at the same time, I can’t help thinking they sound familiar somehow…

I'm only momentarily distracted by Liz, but suddenly Cameron and Adam excuse themselves. "We have to go. You may want to get your friends out of here."
I'm not at all sure what's going on. The two of them head towards the middle of the floor and I notice a man whose eyes are flashing in a way that matches Isabel's description of what she thought she saw in Cameron. I can't hear what she's saying but I'd swear something alien was going on. Why we'd be told to leave then, I don't know.
"Isabel?" I ask, moving closer to her and Alex and Michael. Alex seems to be staring at Cameron and he's talking beneath his breath. "What's going on?" I ask. I wish I could help, I just don't know how.
"Let's get everyone-else out of here," I suggest, although I have no intention of leaving yet. There are a lot of humans here who don't need to be harmed by whatever is happening.

I'm standing in my 'obsevating' position by the dorr. Fuck why I always have to get the worst, most boring job?! But this time it was Isabel who ASKED me to do it, not Max who ordered me, so I don't really mind, well I know he isn't really ordering but it still feels like it. I know that I have to look out for them as something bad my happened., though I have no idea what is going on, so I can live with that.
But it's still terribly boring, nothing is happening, they just talk and it isn't look like something strange or dangerous was about to happened so after some time I'm begining to be a little distracted.
I spotted Maria by the corner of my eyes. She doesnt look good, oh and Parker is with here, good at least she isn't alone, on the mercy of this harpy who calls itself my brother. I swear i'll do something bad to him If I'll heare he is the cuse of Maria's current state. Not that I would care about her of course!!
I see them siting at a nearby table and I even wander if not came over and ask if everything is fine, don't know why exactly, it's not that I care anyway right?! But suddenly somethings happened, everyone are running around and someone is screaming.
Fuck! Shit, just when I wasn't paying attention! I really suck at it! I'm quickly lookind around in panick to locate Izzy and Max, but they seems to be OK. I run to them, yup they're allright, Max is alredy 'sugesting' things. I look back to Maria's tabe to make sure she's still safe, not really paying attention to Max, as usuall. I just wish they would get out of here when they apparently wanted to.

As Liz and I sit down, I look over and notice that Michael is watching us carefully. He looks concerned and I say a silent prayer that he won’t come over to us now and see me in the state that I’m in.
“Guess who’s looking...” I turn and say to Liz but stop myself. I wasn’t sure if it was a trick of the light or the result of my begin drunk but somehow staring at Liz just now she looked distorted somehow. I closed my eyes and rubbed them in an effort to correct my vision, when my eyes are startled open by a commotion on the dance floor.
My first inclination is to think that some poor sole must have done a little dirty dancing with someone’s girlfriend however as people start to scatter from the dance floor I realize that I’m terribly wrong.
I stare at the scene before me, the mystery girl Max was talking to earlier is staring down this giant of a man, mumbling words I cannot understand in a scene oddly reminiscent of David and Goliath.
The tall, dark haired man turned his head slightly so that I was better able to make out his features.
“Oh god...”I gasped involuntarily as my heart began to pound in my chest. My legs shook so badly that were it not for that fact that I was already seated, I might've collapsed onto the floor.
I quickly look away from the dark stranger on the dance floor to my hands...my rapidly disappearing hands. No, no, no....not again! I think, as I try in vein to calm myself down.

"Everyone Out!" I yell, almost un-necessarily. Most of the teens are already pushing towards the exits. I spot Kyle and Tess nearby where it seems they might have been dancing. "Kyle, we gotta get out," I tell him, although the 'we' doesn't actually include me. I'm not leaving yet but Kyle is normal. Human. I don't think he should be here.
"Tess, are you okay?" I ask, hoping to delay her a moment. Just then I hear a scream from behind me. The crowd had dispersed in several directions but the fire-exit behind me wasn't working. I don't know if it were blocked or locked, but it sounded like someone was getting crushed against it.
I keep my hands low, so it's not clear that I'm doing anything except worrying about Tess, but I use my power to force the doors open. Everyone pushes through, causing a girl to fall, screaming under the many feet. I'm not sure if it was the same girl as before or not, but I do see a second person go down, a boy.
"We have to help," I say. I can't see them anymore, so I follow the crowd, looking for the fallen. It takes forever to get through to the door. I'm at the tail of the crowd, but I can see before I get there that the two are in bad shape.
Biting my lip, I look up to see who's left in the club, hoping that it's near enough to empty that Tess can hide what I'm doing -- and that Tess is nearby enough to hear me.

With my eyes closed for the mind warp I don't know when people are moving and if it hadn't been for Max it's likely I would have gotten crushed.
We have to help Max speaks directly into my ear and there is no mistaking his meaning. He moves away, towards what I soon see are two people who have not been as lucky as I. They are prostrate and bleeding and the determination in Max's face is evident, even from the distance now between us. He looks around, but I'm not sure if he sees me. Apparently it doesn't matter as he leans near to the girl. Hoping that enough of the crowd has gone by that I'll be ok if I stop, I close my eyes and focus- hiding Max and his activities from view, as well as myself, hoping that we'll all make it out of this alive- in both the long term and the short term.

Cameron shook her head as she faced off against the Hunter and once again called out to her brother, this time aloud rather then wasting precious concentration, "Adam, I need you!" Then turning her attention to the Follower, she began moving closer to him, holding her amulet in front of her. "You'll not make it out of here with any new followers, so take yourself and go back, tell the Atrox that he can go to hell." She again took up the mantra of prayer even as she recognized that two others had joined in. Glancing over, she recognized Alex, but the girl she didn't know other then the fact that Adam had been dancing with her earlier.
Adam ran up and stood beside Cameron joining in the chant and using his power to knock the follower's feet out from under him. "You have nowhere to go but to hell, it's now four to one...The odds aren't looking so good for you." he told the hunter.
The hunter fell, however a moment later, he was standing and moving towards the two. Cameron saw his intent and pushed her brother out of the way, even as she took the charge and found herself on the floor, gasping for breath. This guy was harder then they normally were and she was about ready to run herself if something didn't get handled.

The club is nearly empty now. There are only six or seven people left and although I don't look, I'm sure that the number includes my sister and Michael. I don't know what happened to Kyle, and I'm hoping Liz is out, but I can't look right now. Tess nods and I'm glad to know she's going to keep me hidden. That makes this a lot easier.
I bend over the girl first. She's bleeding and breathing poorly. Her chest is crushed, with more a few broken ribs. I don't think she's dying, but she's in bad shape. She's unconcious, so I don't try to get her to look at me. I manage a lesser healing connection. In a moment, I break away. Her bones are healed and she should soon be waking up. I gasp, rocking away from her as I catch my breath.
The boy is near by. He's also unconcious. At my touch, I can see that he has a broken ankle and a possible concussion. I heal his head and foot and then move back. Getting to my feet, I wrap my arm around Tess's waist as I survey the rest of the room. Behind me, the two other patrons, lumber to their feet and leave, but I'm too busy with the commotion in the middle of the room.
Cameron and Adam are standing near the strange man with the electric eyes. Adam and Liz and Maria are all nearby, staring at him and whispering, together. Something causes the man's feet to fly out from under him.
I feel Tess relax in my arms and I know that she's released her mindwarp. I take another breath, still collecting my powers. "What's going on?" I wonder aloud, although I'm quite sure that she's as clueless as I am. I don't like the way he's lunging at the others. Strangely, he lunges at Adam and it's Cameron that falls.
I take a step forward, wondering if I can dare to put up a shield to contain him. There's definately something weird going on here. If this creature goes after Liz, I'm definately not going to be able to hold back.

Slowly, I work through the layer and manage to reach into his memory. I can feel something reaching for me and instantly back out, knowing it was the Atrox. Though I didn't know this girl that was chanting, I moved to her side and reached for her hand, "Together we are stronger." I told her quietly as I joined the chant and looked over to Adam and Alex, reaching a hand out, "Join us, Adam and Alex. Join us in driving him away."
With this said, I turned my attention to the Hunter again and felt the energy building that was a gift from the Goddess Selene. The contact with this girl was already showing a strengthening in my power level. Looking over at the girl by my side, I pause in my chanting long enough to say, "Tu es dea, filea lunae." To Alex I added, "Tu es dea, filius lunae." I had told her, "You are a Daughter of the Moon," and Alex, "You are a Son of the Moon."
Though, they may not recognize the language or even what it means, though when I heard it, I had known what it meant, Adam hadn't. Of course, now we both knew.

I close my eyes briefly, trying to get the image of the stranger from my dreams out of my head. It doesn't work. Opening my eyes again I suddenly become aware of a purple light surrounding me. Reaching into my back pocket I remove the moonstone I had tucked away earlier, after my conversation with Kyle.
Its glowing brilliantly amid the darkness in the night club. I look towards the dance floor and around the club and notice that I'm not the only one in possession of this glowing moonstone.
What does this mean, why do we all have the same moonstone and could this have something to do with the stranger?
