"It's ok" the girl - Xadalyn - said to me. In English. Great, at least now I understood her. What was made me amazed was the way he fixed the thing that fell down.
"You guys are probably tired and its getting late. I'll get someone to take you to the guest quarters. Maybe their finished talking by now anyway. Come on let's find out" she said and started walking - Xan followed her, so I followed Xan.
Xan kept looking behind him though, to watch if I was there and close to him. I kept rolling my eyes because of that. He treated me like a little kid. Maybe I was a little kid. Hm.
We stopped for a while. I didn't listen what they said. Just waited until we were walking again and followed Xan. We were taken to a room. I looked around, wanting to say "wow" but didn't, cause it would've sounded stupid.
Though I ended up doing something more stupid, because the things in the rooms were so cool looking. I touched the few of them. I was sprosed that I didn't hear anything from Xan, so I turned to look at him. He had closed his eyes....oh well.
I heard a knock from the door and turned to look at it. A girl walked in. The same girl I had seen before.
"I suppose this is quite different for you all" she said.
"People on Antar aren't accustomed to knocking, huh?" Xan said. I was going to say that she had knocked but then Xan continued. "Different? Oh, hardly. Just a whole new landscape, a world full of hocus-pocus, a language I didn't even know I could speak, and a sister that I had absolutely no knowledge of before today. Would you call that different?" he said.
I looked at him a little confused, but let it pass.
"Xan, the girl did knock the door" I said to him. "I heard it. You were daydreaming so it's not a suprise you didn't hear it"
Then I though about what he said. "What do you mean, 'sister'?" I asked.

OOC: Hey, I’m not sure if this is okay or not, so if I should change it, just let me know and I will. Otherwise, we could use a Kyria post.

Kyria was close to replying but Justin butted in, "Xan, the girl did knock the door. I heard it. You were daydreaming so it's not a suprise you didn't hear it." I was pretty sure she hadn't, but whatever. I had barely opened my mouth to respond when Justin realised something. "What do you mean, 'sister'?"
"Xa-" I wasn't sure what to tell him. He was probably really confused as is. "Look, I'll tell you later, okay?"
"Why later, boy?"
I looked around for the source of the voice. And then, out of nowhere, a man appeared behind Kyria.
“Enlighten us,” he said, taking a step forward. “Please, enlighten us all.”
Instinctively, I pushed Justin behind me. There was something about this man that I didn’t like. I looked at Kyria, who had darted out of his reach, now at my side, looking quite ready to use her powers if need be.
“Who are you?” I demanded. But I had an inkling of the dark-haired man’s identity. It seemed to be written blatantly across his face. And I felt an ancient feeling of anger bubbling up, though I had never seen him before.
At that moment, an explosion rocked the grounds, causing Kyria, Justin, and me to grope for hold. But the man, he seemed all too calm. He smirked, his violet eyes flashing- glowing, almost, with an unspoken malice. “The question is, who are you?” he challenged back, his voice ringing with power and authority.
What was he getting at? What did he know? What didn’t he know?
“It is not your concern,” I said, looking him straight in the eye. He had come barging in, and if anyone should demand the name of the other, it was me- not him.
He shook his head, laughing again. “Oh, but it is. It is now.”
Did he know that I was human? Sure he did. Did he know that I was powerless? It was probably obvious.
But did he know who I was?

I watched as the two humans exchanged in conversation. I made my way to the bed and sat down as I watched the two of them. Humans accustoms were so different than ours, and I found it very interesting. And, for some reason I had a hard time removing my eyes from Xan.
Soon the door opened and we had company. I quickly moved Justin and Xan behind me and raised my hand as he spoke. Laughing and taunting Xan.
Then their was an explosion from somewhere that made the whole room rumble, and we hit the ground. Before I even had time to know if I was okay I was looking back for Xan and Justin. Once again quickly positioning myself in a place to protect them.
"Oh but it is. It is now." he said.
"Leave." I said calmly looking the man in the eyes. He merely looked me dead in the eyes in return. I raised my hand again as it began to glow with my anger... I did not like when my orders were not taken. "Leave." I said again, still calmly. I got up off the ground, and Xan and Justin followed me.

great part Nicole...and I think the dude was speaking english since Xan was at the time.
~*Xadalyn*~
I nod to my father. We need to get somewhere safe. Though part of me wanted to stay and fight another part of me told me how foolish this would be, at least for now. Dom takes off to help in the fighting...what he does best.
"We should find Xan." is all I can think about, my brotherwho I never even knew exsisted, but some part of me has always known. We rush up to Xan's room and right as we enter the room my father is pulling me behind him protectively. Confused by why he did that I peer around him and gasp in surprise.....Khivar is now standing in between us and my brother. How did he get here?
"Well, well, well, I should have known better that to think that the once great ruler of Antar couldn't keep out of my affairs." Khivars cold voice sends shivers up my spine. "That..." he says pointing towards me. " that little beauty is mine. I'm not done playing with her yet." he says with a sneer and I instincively hide behind my father again with Sarah in toe.
ooc: You guys feel free to use Khivar, but I will post for him if need be.

"Leave," Kyria said in Antarian, stepping in, her hand raised. She sounded dead serious, ready to kill if need be. I would have found it admirable had the situation been less menacing. "Leave."
Of course, the man didn't back down. If anything, he looked more intimidating.
And then my father and sisters turned up at the door. Seeing the intruder, Dad pulled Xadalyn and Sarah behind him.
The man looked at them and smirked again. "Well, well, well, I should have known better that to think that the once great ruler of Antar couldn't keep out of my affairs." My father kept his chin high, not the least bit shaken- not on the exterior, at least.
Then, the man turned his attention to my sister- well, Xadalyn. "That... that little beauty is mine. I'm not done playing with her yet."
I watched as Xadalyn retreated behind my father once more. And then it clicked. I had seen this man before, I recognised him. This was Khivar. He was the one who had tortured my sister only hours before. He was why Xadalyn reached out to us in the first place.
"Don't you lay a finger on her," I said, glaring at him. "Don't you dare lay a finger on her."

"Xa-Look, I'll tell you later, okay?" Xan said and I nodded. I wasn't sure why he couldn't say it now. Maybe he didn't want to confuse me.
"Why later, boy?" I head a voice say. I looked at the door. There was a man standing there. "Enlighten us. Please, enlighten us all" he said coming closer. Xan pushed me behind himself. I looked at him confused. Was the man dangerous or something? Was that why he hid me behind himself?
"Who are you?" Xan asked. There was a weird explosion. I grabbed Xan shirt, afraid of falling down. The man didn't move though. He was calm. Too calm even. "The question is, who are you?" He asked back. Then I looked at his eyes. They were violet. That was absurd. There wasn't anyone with violet eyes.
"It is not your concern" Xan said, but the man seemed to be laughing. "Oh, but it is. It is now." the man said. Then the girl whose name I didn't know had raised her hand. "Leave" she said twice.
Mr.Evans and Xadalyn came. I saw them, not so well, but I saw them. I looked at Xan, but was afraid to talk.
"Well, well, well, I should have known better that to think that the once great ruler of Antar couldn't keep out of my affairs" the man talked again. I grabbed Xan's shirt more tighly. Then the man looked at Xadalyn and said "That... that little beauty is mine. I'm not done playing with her yet." I stared at him. What did he mean by that?
"Don't you lay a finger on her. Don't you dare lay a finger on her." Xan said and it caused me to take a step back and let go of his shirt. He sounded somewhat scary. The whole situation was scary. And I just wanted to go home. I noticed that I was shaking a little. Why did it turn out like this?

*Liz! Khivar's here in the boys' room!* I'm about to tell her to get help, but I remember that she doesn't speak the language. Besides, I never have been able to get her to leave me when I'm in danger. *Help us!* I suggest instead. Her blasting power might be just what we need.
I hear Xan trying to defend his sister and I've never been more proud of him. He knows he has no powers. He believes he's only human. And I know that he knows exactly who he's facing. But still he's willing to try to stand between this ruthless killer and a sister he only just discovered...
I stare down Khivar and I feel my anger continuing to strengthen my body. I cannot believe that he's still here, threatening my family. He killed me. He threatened my son's life when he was born. He tried to attack my daughter. And now he's complaining that I'm interferring in his affairs?
"Your affairs?" I ask, keeping my voice low and dangerous. "This is my house. My family. My world."
*Girls!* I say silently although it's the first time I've tried to talk to Xadalyn telepathically. *Join your power to mine.*
"You don't belong here," I say, finishing my comment to Khivar. *Now!* I push a shield into place surrounding Khivar. Xadalyn's shield alone kept him out before. Between the three of us, I'm sure we can keep Khivar contained long enough for Kyria and Xada's military to take custody of the villian.

Khivar sighs as our shields go up around him. “I didn’t want to have to do this. I was hoping she would come around on her own….Oh well.” He says and the next words he says I hear in my head instead. *Xada put your shield down* and immediately I find myself doing as I was told. Oh no he can mind warp. *Now free me* I turn and look at the other two people making a shield around Khivar…it’s like I can’t make out there faces. With a swish of my hand I send them flying into the wall with enough force to knock them out.
Another woman charges at me and for a second I think its Kyria but then her face changes to one of and enemy. I use my power to knock her out as well. *Now* the voice inside my head says *kill the boy(Xan) with this* and I fell a dagger being placed in my hand *he could be a problem for us later on*
I start to slowly make my way towards the threat with the dagger in my hand. But the closer I get to him the more I recognize him. I know him. I am now standing right in front of him, ready to kill him.

I felt Justin move away from me. Was he frightened? I knew he probably was, and I knew that I had fears about the situation too, only I could control it a little more. I wished that he could have been spared- why did he have to come? Why had fate dragged him into this?
"Your affairs? This is my house. My family. My world," my father said, sounding very different from his usual self. He was angry, I could tell. And with anger, there was great strength and power.
I wasn't quite sure how it happened so fast, but the next second, a shield had come up around Khivar. My father and sisters had put it up together, somehow.
But Khivar remained steady. With a sigh, he said, “I didn’t want to have to do this. I was hoping she would come around on her own….Oh well.”
I had hardly deciphered his words when Xadalyn pulled back and flung Dad and Sarah out of the way with her powers. I was shocked, not quite sure what to do next- what she would do next.
Well, that was answered pretty soon too, when she did the same thing to Kyria.
"Xadalyn, what are you doing?" I yelled, but she didn't seem to have heard me. Something bigger was coming; I felt it. Justin needed to stay out of the way- he had been dragged too far into this already. Hoping he could hear me, I whispered, "Justin, stand back."
Khivar. Khivar was doing this, controlling her mind somehow. I watched as he silently pressed a dagger into her hand. Xadalyn then moved toward me, dagger in hand.
"Xada. Xadalyn, don't," I said, but she was standing in front of me by then. I looked deep into her eyes. Don't, Xada . . . You don't know what you're doing . . .
Khivar's power of mind-control or whatever it was had taken over. The girl standing in front of me was not my sister. She had become his puppet and he was pulling the strings. I stood frozen to the ground, wondering in my heart of hearts why I didn't just run.
And then, as she brought the dagger down to strike, it happened. I wasn't sure if it was out of instinct, out of whatever. But I did bring my hands up in a feeble attempt to protect myself, though I knew it was stupid- I would get cut, what logic was there in that? So maybe I did it out of stupidity and it happened out of . . . well, just happened.
Before the blade reached me, a weak, green wall formed in front of me. I felt something odd in my hands, as if there was just too much blood concentrated there. I then realised that the shield was mine.
I was too shocked myself to see what Xadalyn's reaction was, or anyone's for that matter. The shield wavered and died, and I took a few steps backward, still looking down at my hands.
Was this another trick of the mind? A channel of power, perhaps, from somewhere else, through a human body? Whatever it was, it couldn't have been me.
OOC: I didn't realise that was so long
Anyway, please let me know if I should change anything.

Something green wavers in front of me and for a moment I stop. I should recognize that, I should know this person standing in front of me but the voice continues in my head *KILL HIM KILL HIM KILL HIM* it continues to repeat. But then I locked eyes with the boy and something happened. I felt something, some kind of block that was keeping us from each other.
“Xan” I whispered finally recognizing my brother but I knew Khivar would soon have control over me again so I did the only thing I knew to do to protect my brother. I raised the knife acting as if I was going to stab him. “I’m sorry.” I whispered before bringing the knife down hard into my sternum. I sunk to my knees as the blinding pain hit me.
