Part 11
Two Weeks Later
Liz was excited as she headed home from her first week at work. She loved her job, the kids were eager to learn and most were exceptionally well behaved, but that wasn’t what had her excited tonight. What she was excited about was that in less than three hours her best friend would be arriving from Boston.
It had been almost four months now since Liz had seen her and she couldn’t wait for her to come so they could spend the entire weekend catching up on each other’s lives but best of all Liz couldn’t wait for her to meet Max.
On her way home and stopped to pick up some last minute items that they would need like ice cream, chocolate and the essential chick flick with Brad Pitt in it.
“You look happy” a voice startled her as she made her way out of the video store.
“Alex!” she hugged her brother and gave him a kiss. Things were still a little awkward since the whole Max thing and she didn’t see him that much. He didn’t feel comfortable coming over to see her at the place he had spent time with Max at and in truth Liz didn’t feel all that comfortable with being in the same room with the once lovers either. But as time went by she was learning to now not only accept but live with those things just like Max had to with her.
“So how’s the job?” he asked.
“Wonderful” she smiled.
“Max?”
“Even more wonderful” she blushed, since they had admitted their love to each other things between them had become more serious and intense. Liz knew without a doubt that Max was her future and now they had started to talk about it and make plans for the future which she loved.
“And you had a good trip?” he smiled.
“Oh Alex it was so wonderful, I mean the place was beautiful, the beaches the people” she raved.
“So every is just wonderful?” he laughed at his sister, in truth he had never seen her this happy before.
“Yes I guess it is” she blushed “and there is also the fact that Maria flies in tonight” she informed him. She watched her brothers eyes light up in happiness too.
“and when were you going to tell me?” he asked.
“I swear I was just planning on hogging her for the weekend then I would have brought her around” she told him.
Alex smiled, Maria and Liz were as close as two people could be, and he actually found it amazing that they had been in different cities for as long as they had.
“Ok well don’t forget me or I’m coming over to find you” he told her.
“I won’t, love you Alex” she said.
“You too Lizzie”
They parted ways then and Liz made her way home, Max was just coming out of the bedroom and it was obvious he had a shower because his hair was wet and his chest naked.
“Hmm yeah” Liz groaned when she caught sight of him. He obviously hadn’t heard her come in and she could stand and watch him for a small while at the moment.
“See something you like?” his voice startled her and she lifted her head to his face and off his chest.
He was smirking when she looked at him. “Ooh yeah” she licked her lips.
She walked towards him like a tiger on the prowl and began pushing him back towards the bedroom.
“You have a guest arriving” he reminded her.
“You showered without me and that’s not acceptable” she whispered as she started taking her own clothing off.
Max didn’t wait to be asked, he pulled his jeans and boxers off and when Liz was naked he carried her to the shower.
“Is this the last time we’ll get to do this all weekend?” he asked as he pressed her against the glass of the shower screen as he cupped her breasts and kissed her neck.
“Fuck no” Liz groaned as he sucked on a particularly sensitive spot.
“Good” he moaned as her hand enclosed around his hard cock.
“Got any straight friends because Maria loves sex” she informed him.
“not as much as I love sex with you” he whispers.
“True but she’s a total slut” she laughed good naturedly but it didn’t last long when Max cupped her ass and pressed her against the wall positioning himself to take her.

They had enjoyed their week in Hawaii thoroughly. They had spent most of the time in the room fucking like bunnies and some days neither of them could walk because they were so sore. Max would do it all over again though, being back at every day life was hard. They both worked and when they got home they had other things like family and friends to deal with. Max Evans would be happy though if he could just stay at home and make love to Liz all day.
He fucked her hard against the shower wall as he thought about Hawaii.

Maria squealed as she caught sight of her best friend across the airport and took off at a run towards her forgetting about the people who had tagged along with her. Liz saw her and moved just as quickly and the two met in huge hug which ended up with them falling on the floor together.
“I missed you” Maria cried “lets live in the same city from now on” she said.
“Only if it’s New York” Liz laughed.
“I missed you too”
Max walked up and picked up Maria’s carry on luggage off the ground.
Maria whistled when she saw the Adonis walking towards her. “Don’t look now but the hottest guy on earth is walking this way” she whispered to Liz.
Liz looked around and her eyes found Max walking towards them. “I’m gonna take him home” she told Maria.
“What!” Maria gasped “What bout Max the love of your life” she demanded.
Max reached them at this point and smiled “Hi”
“Hi yourself sexy” Liz replied.
Maria licked her lips as her eyes travelled his body, he was fucking gorgeous.
Max was a little confused until Liz winked at him.
“I’m Maria” she held out her hand and Max helped her off the ground before offering his hand to Liz.
“Can I take you home?’ Liz smiled.
Max smirked “Sure” she said.
Maria’s mouth fell open in shock.
Max moved closer to Liz and placed his arm around her, he thought Maria was interesting so far.
“Maria why did you run off?”
Max felt Liz tense in his arms as two guys approached Maria, Maria threw Liz an apologetic smile and Max wondered what was going on.
“Liz” the name rolled off one of the guys lips and Max wanted to punch him, he didn’t like the way he had stopped and started staring at his Liz.
His eyes turned to the guy wrapped around Liz then “Who the hell are you?” he asked.
Maria sighed “Sean we just met him he just helped us off the floor that’s all” Maria explained.
Max’s mouth fell open in shock firstly because he heard Maria call the guy Sean and then secondly because she told him that he was someone that they just met.
“Um actually Maria this is Max” Liz finally spoke up and explained to her friend.
Maria’s eyes went wide and then she flushed red “oh god I was checking out your boyfriend” to Liz.
Liz just laughed and Max squirmed next to her.
“Boyfriend?” Sean questioned speaking up.
Liz took a deep breath. “Kyle, Sean” she greeted “Why are you here?” she got straight to the point.
“Maria said she was coming to visit we wanted to see you as well” Kyle smiled moving to stand next to his step sister.
Stepping out of Max’s arms Liz enveloped Kyle in a hug to which he returned.
“Kyle Valenti this is my boyfriend Max Evans” she introduced. Max and Kyle shook hands and then the silence turned awkward again.
“Max this is Sean Deluca, Maria’s cousin” she introduced. Max offered his hand but Sean didn’t take it, his eyes just narrowed and turned to Liz.
“You look good Liz” he whispered. “I missed you” he said.
“Thank you” was her response.
They walked towards baggage then, Liz and Max with linked hands and Liz’s spare hand in Maria’s.
“So where are you guys staying?” Liz asked.
Both Kyle and Sean turned to Maria then.
“What! I never invited the two of you remember” she told them.
“Cant we crash with you and Alex, Lizzie?” Kyle asked.
Liz sighed “I don’t live with Alex anymore Kyle and our apartment only has room for one more and that’s where Maria is staying” she explained.
“When did you move out of Alex’s?” Sean asked stiffly from beside Maria.
“A couple of months ago” Liz answered simply.
“so the two of you live together?” Sean asked hurt. He had hoped that he would be able to fix things with Liz by coming here. He had been heartbroken when she had refused his proposal and then fled Boston.
“Yes” Max answered for her.
“Um I’ll give Alex a call and see if you can stay there, Kyle” Liz told him.
“thanks” he nodded.
Luckily they all fit into Max’s car and it was quiet and awkward on the way into the city.
“nice car” Kyle commented.
“Thanks” Max replied.
Liz talked on the cell with Alex who agreed reluctantly to let them crash for a few nights.
“How long are you guys staying?” Liz turned and asked.
“I’ve gotta head back in a couple of days” Kyle answered.
“Sean?”
“That depends” he answered.
“On?” Liz asked him her eyes darting to Maria who was shaking her head.
“On how long it takes to convince you that you belong with me” he said straight up.
Before Liz could even think of a response the car jerked sharply and Max slammed the breaks on.
“Max what are you doing?” Liz asked startled.
“Turning around” he said.
“What why?” she asked confused.
“Well I figured Sean is wasting his time and might as well catch the next flight back to Boston” he told her.
Liz smiled at him and Max instantly felt reassured.
“Listen Max you’re probably a great guy but Liz and I have history I’m sure you can understand that” Sean said smugly.
Max’s eyes never left Liz’s “I know where I belong thanks Sean” she said.
Maria and Kyle were watching Liz and Max is astonishment, they had so much chemistry Maria thought and Kyle was just wondering if they would start going at it in front of them all.
Sean was furious “Liz” he snapped.
“Max’s right Sean, if that’s why your here your wasting your time. I love Max” she said.
