Maria catches my attention as she begins speaking and moves to where I had stood before going to Max. I watch her weary, I know she's our friend, but she doesn't know what we are.

We all know you--” She says but then flings something at Max. I move instinctively toward Max, throwing my hand in the air toward the object thrown but Max was quicker throwing his own hand out and creating his shield. I quickly lower my hand but stay close to Max. I want to give Maria a piece of my mind for doing something like that to Max but I hold my tongue and decide to scowl disapproving at her. If she wasn't our friend and someone I care for, I would have turned and used my own powers on her.

"I'm teleknetic, too," Max says. "Just like your new friend Adam."

I want to turn to Max and question him but I don't give myself away. I continue glaring at Maria hoping Max knows what he's doing. They know that Max is...different, but they don't know about the rest of us....yet.

I laugh, I can't help it. Max trying to explain away what he did. It's just so hillarious. And seeing how my brother moves to show support actually warms my heart. Which is becoming far too human for my liking. "Have you ever heard about left brain activity being enhanced?" I decide to ask, adding to this little conversation. "Well, that's what happened in Max's case. His brain functions completely on both sides, thus allowing him to access things that any human could have, but they just don't always reach such true potential."

I look over at Max and Michael with a grin before turning back. "I've found that I'm the same." I admit, though not quite to what they are all going to think. With a light smirk, I lift my hand and make one of the candles that lit the room lift from it's stand and slowly hover before it starts gliding across the room until it's in front of me. I blow it out and then settle it on the table, using telekinesis the entire time.

I can see the shock on my brother's face, the question in his eyes and silently I hope my expression portrays that I'll tell him later.

Maria

In the blink of an eye Max's hand rushes forward and produces some type of shield that deflects the cell phone and sends it flying to the middle of the room, where its suddenly caught, as if by and invisible hand, and brought gently back to me.

"I'm telekinetic, too," Max says, as my astonished gazes moves from the phone in my hand to Max "Just like your new friend Adam" Glancing over, I see that Michael is glaring at me, apparently not to keen on my display. I roll my eyes as place my cell phone into my back pocket.

"Have you ever heard about left brain activity being enhanced?" Trevor chimes in, "Well, that what happened in Max's case. His brain functions completely on both sides, thus allowing him to access things that any human could have, but they just don't always reach such true potential." Trevor says, as I move to lean against the wall just behind him, watching the back of his head as he spoke "I've found that I'm the same." Trevor's admits and uses his hand to levitate a candle across the room to him. What the hell was going on here? Had I not been so completely freaked by everything that was going on, I might have laughed at how childish this all sounded. "I'm a telekinetic, you know!...Well so am I....Oh yeah, well I am too, so there."

"Ooooooookaaaaaay..." I say, lifting my hands in a I surrender like manner and moving away from the wall and towards the door "...all of this is getting just a tiny bite weird for a De Luca's liking." I add, as I reach for the door knob and turn it.

"...I think I'm just gonna step outside for a minute..." I say, opening the door a crack "...you know, get some air" I add, when the door knob jerks free of my hand and closes of its own accord. My eyes widen in shock as I turn too see who's used their...quote, telekinesis, to keep me from leaving.

*Max*

I look up at Maria as I finish my little demonstration. Somehow this feels so much more exposed than it was at the club. There everything had been going so fast. I knew it was revealing myself, but I didn't have a lot of time to think. Now, they're all watching me and listening to my lame explanation.

Nobody could be more surprised than me when Trevor starts expanding on that explanation and then actually demonstrates the same thing. I stare at him, wide-eyed, wondering what it means. He couldn't possibly be an alien, too. Could he? He says it's human potential, but it's so controlled...

"You?" I ask, barely breathing. I'm sure that behind me, Isabel, Michael and Tess are probably looking the same way. But I can't ask any more without revealing more than I want to these 'Daughters of the Moon."

Glacing back at Maria, I see she looks scared. Ready to bolt, actually, and backing towards the door. "...I think I'm just gonna step outside for a minute ... you know, get some air"

This is just what I feared. That my friends would see me differently if they knew about my abilities. That they'd be afraid. And this is just from the teleknesis. If she knew I was an alien, too...

"Maria, no," I say pleading. But before she can respond, the door shuts without her touching it. She spins around acusingly, but it wasn't me. I look around wondering who did it. Adam? Trevor? Surely not Isabel, Tess or ... Michael?

Michael

"...all of this is getting just a tiny bite weird for a De Luca's liking. I think I'm just gonna step outside for a minute..." Maria says opening the door. "...you know, get some air"

I can hear the fear in her voice as it gives a tiny tremble. The look in her eyes tell me that she's about to bolt. I look around and the others are looking concerned as well. Maria, out of them all, is the easiest to freak. Who knows what she'll do once she's alone.

"Maria...no." Max tries to stop her.

I decide that she can't leave. Not alone anyway but I doubt she would allow anyone to come with her at the moment. So I make a quick decision. I give my wrist a flick and make the door jerk from her hand and close. I do it so nonchalantly that no one seems to notice...or at least I hope not.

She twirls around and looks accusingly at Adam, then Trevor, and lastly Max. He gives me a glance but I keep the same expression not letting on that I did it.

"Maria...just calm down." I say as I approach her slowly, much like I would a frightened animal. "I know this is all...pretty hard to take in." I look to Trevor and give him a look showing that he's got some explaining to do once we are alone. "But I'm sure that if we just sit down for a bit then we can all head home soon."

Michael approaches Maria, trying to calm her. I'm sure he'll have a better idea of what to say to her than I do.

I'm still not sure who closed the door on her, but I'm guessing Adam or Michael... possibly Trevor, although I don't know this side of him at all. I definately am going to need to talk to him when this is over. We all will... me and Michael and Isabel and Tess.

"I'm sorry, Maria," I tell her, thinking that it'll look like I'm taking responsibility for the door. No need to involve yet another with teleknetic abilities. "Please. I know it's strange, but I'm still me. Just like that amulet doesn't change who any of you are." My eyes turn towards Liz as I struggle to explain. "I've wanted to tell you all since we were kids but I didn't want you to think I was strange or to be afraid," I say.

Now I find my eyes drawn to Trevor. "I had no idea there were so many others who were the same.."

Mena glances around as everyone speaks, the girl at her side is trembling and she's doing her best to calm her. When she meets my gaze, I hear her in my mind once I touch upon it, Serena needs to sleep With a nod, I look over at Serena and connect to her mind, it takes a moment. There is so much emptiness that I feel like I could get trapped in it. I suddenly feel so chilled and end up shivering with it.

"So cold," I can't help but mutter as I finally find what I am looking for and with a small jolt of energy, I pull out of her mind and watch as Serena yawns and then simply falls limp in the chair, a deep sleep overtaking her.

"Adam, can you carry Serena up to the room next to mine?" Mena questions and I look at my brother who nods. I watch him stand and walk to her, picking her up and carrying her toward the stairs.

Once he's out of sight I turn to look at the others and say simply, "Maria, no one expects this to be easy." Then, looking between Max and some of the others, I don't know how to say this since it seems that secrets are still being kept.

"It's time, Cam." I hear Mena say and nod.

"Some of you are closed off, I can't touch upon your minds, enter them to show you what needs to be shown. Please, try and open your minds. Maria, please sit down and have some more tea. We won't ask you all to stay here much longer. Let me show you what you need to see then you can go and discuss things amongst yourselves." As I spoke I looked at Mena who had taken out a notebook and was writing in it.

More then likely she was making certain that everyone would have our number. "When you leave here, what we have said will be all we'll say until your decision is made. Don't feel that you have to return and train, Adam and I will do what we must, with or without your aid. No matter your decision, always wear your amulets."

"Yes, and I'll get some for your friends to have as well. Though they are not chosen of Selene, I have extra's.

Uh a stupid little question *raises her hand* Do they know what their powers are already, or are the going to find out later? Sons and Daughters (Well obviously Adam knows).

They know what they can do.... but they didn't know about each other and they don't have control over what they can do..... except for Cam and Adam who have been training for some time.

Okay, thanks ^_^ That's what I wanted to know. Now this makes posting easier. Though right now my head is empty and I don't know what to post...
