Summary:
For the purpose of this story it continues after series 3, BUT when Tess came back she came back in the grenalith, bringing it back to Earth. She does go and blow up the base.
At the end of season 3, the 6 Roswellians have driven off into the sunset with the FBI hot on there heels.
But unfortunitely misfortune strikes. Michael is driving the van when a shot is fired through the windscreen. The shot hits bang on target and Michael is killed. The vehicle swerves off the road and hits a tree.
The FBI quickly surround the vechile.
Max, taking control steps out of the vechile and is immediately took down.
Meanwhile, two FBI agents have approached the back door. Kyle is trying to comfort Maria when the doors are swung open. Isabel sees the men take aim at Kyle and flings herself in front of him. She saves his life, by losing hers.
Liz drags the sobbing Maria out of the vechile and runs. The shocked Kyle quickly follows suit.
A week later Kyle, Maria and Liz have made it back to Roswell. They have gathered supplies and Liz manages to open the pod chamber. Inside, Liz manages to find an instruction book that allows them to configurate the grenalith into a time machine. The 3 board the grenalith and go back to when Future Max visited Liz.
The three decide to come up with a plan to change the future. They decide that Kyle will try and get closer to Tess to see if he can get her to open up and to keep distant from Isabel so she wouldn't jump infront of him, Liz will talk to future Max and Max to try and convince them to come up with a new way of changing the future. Maria, taking the shooting of Michael decides the best way to keep Michael safe is to get him closer to Isabel and away from herself (with pure Maria logic, she blames herself).
