"Maria we spoke to Max,Liz should be here soon." I said gently not wanting to upset her

I looked at Kyle,"We better get our things from her room before she comes back." I climbed up the ladder

Once up there I turned to Kyle "Something's wrong with her...I mean she seems calmly hysterical...if that's even possible."
