"What..so now you busy all of a sudden, don't you want to be involved in your kids lifes? I'm not going to sleep with you in the middle of the day if you are acting like this...I'm sorry, if I'm asking too much from you--now if you excuse us, we have to go downstairs and see Aunt Ava and Uncle Kyle." WIth that I picked up our children and proceded downstairs.

I quickly run after her. "Liz wait!"
I catch up with her. "Im sorry Liz, it was only a little joke, Im sorry. Of course I will help. I can clear my entire schedule if you want me to" I tell her.
