“Okay then,” I say, giving into the temptation to go home. Maybe I should call Lilly when I get in and have her talk some much needed sense into me and then I can completely crash out.
“I guess we will have to go tell the others.” I murmur, really not looking forward to going back out into the club. The restroom has become a strange sort of haven to me in the last ten minutes or so. And wow, that has got to be the saddest thing I’ve ever thought.

"Have fun here. And if necessary, force Liz to have some fun too." Kels says
I nod and smile, sensing that she isn‘t too sure what else to say to me. I kinda wish that I had spent more time getting to know her tonight instead of doing whatever it was that I was doing.
“Don’t worry. I’ll make sure that Liz has a great time. I promise.” I say to her.
Turning to Alex, I smile before asking; “What did Kels whisper to you?”
"Have fun here. And if necessary, force Liz to have some fun too." Kels says

I feel my face getting hotter which means I'm blushing. Again. What am I? A virgin maid from the last century? Certainly not so I better stop blushing.
And does Isabel have some kind of radar so she knows when someone's talking about her? Well she's a girl so it could be.
"Oh, she ... just said that she liked my shirt and to take care of Lizzy, Izzy." I reply and then frown. 'Lizzy, Izzy?'
"Ah, Maria and Liz are joining us again, I think." I quickly change the topic, before nervously taking a sip of my orange soda.

I look in the direction of the restroom and sure enough, Liz and a sheepish Maria are heading in our way. Hmm, I'm really going to have to find out what is going on with Maria. Fingers crossed that Liz got some sense out of her.
“Was it something dirty?” I tease, focusing my attention back on Alex. “'Cause you’re blushing three different shades of red at the moment, Whitman.”
"Ah, Maria and Liz are joining us again, I think."

I breath a sigh of relief when Isabel's attention drifts to Maria and liz but like usually, I got euphoric a bit too early.
“'Cause you’re blushing three different shades of red at the moment, Whitman.”
I'm still blushing? Damn! I need to get a tan!
"Well, it is hot in here." I say with a shrug. And that is not even a lie. Then I grin. "Is your mind always in the gutter that you automatically assume she told me somthing dirty, Anderson?"

As Liz and Maria arrive, I give them both a warm smile. Maria does look a bit down although she seems to be making an effort to smile. For a moment, I'm torn between asking how she's feeling and risking making things worse by making her more self-concious about everything. Or ignoring it and risking her think I'm obvious and not caring about what's happening with her. I settle on something that I hope is somewhat in-between.
"Hello Maria. Liz. Nice to see you both back. Kels was about to head home with the Parkers and I think some of us may be ready to leave, too. Are you planning to stay or are you heading back to the house soon?"
As Liz and Maria arrive, I give them both a warm smile. Maria does look a bit down although she seems to be making an effort to smile. "Awww, is our little baby tired." I tease Liz and put my arm around her waist to steady her better. I have to grin when I hear her snort softly.
"Well, your parents look a bit tired too, so I guess it runs in the family. It was great to see you again girl, say thanks to Max from me again for planning all this." I tell her softly so only she can hear it.
