"Um.. I didn't mean it intrude. If you need to steal him away for a minute I'll understand." she suggests.
I smile at her for a moment, "No....it can wait later. I'm Liz by the way" I take out my hand for her to take it. I don't know maybe Michael did the right thing, maybe saving this girl was the best for everyone. But there something about her tells me she is one human I can trust in this world.

"No....it can wait later. I'm Liz by the way" she holds her hand out so I take it and give it a soft handshake.
"Maria. You can just call me Ria." I reply studying the ground.
Liz is alot different then her brother. I can't quite put my finger on it ,but somehow I think she could relate to what i'm going through. i silently scold myself. Why would she? She could care less about what wrong with you. Your just the weird girl she found in her brothers room. She's probably just curious as to what i'm doing here.
"I just needed a place to crash. The Trailer got a little..."
I search for the right word.
"Sufficating." I finish as my eyes raise up to meet hers.

Michael
I stand there awkwardly as Liz barges in, and I have the feeling she thinks me and Maria were...doing something we shouldn't have been, which causes me to blush a bit.
She introduces herself to Liz, and is actually quite calm, considering the conversation we just had and all. Maria introduces herself right back, and I smile. It's nice to know that Liz isn't killing this girl to hide our secret; but that could always only be because she already told Max. "I just needed a place to crash. The Trailer got a little...suffocating," Maria says, as if in explanation.
"I um, I needed to let her borrow some of your clothes," I mumble out, looking over at Liz. I'm still angry at her, but since Maria knows too, I can't blame her for anything.

"Um.. Thanks." I reply shifting my weight from one foot to another.
"Michael I..." Not really knowing what I could say that would sum up everything I just don't. Instead I give him a quick kiss on the cheek.
Then I turn to Liz who looks quite amused at the situation.
"So where's your room? I'm exhausted."

I look at Maria at me, "Um....Thanks" she said doing this kind of dance to her legs. I wonder if she nerves about something. She looks at Michael for a moment, "Michael I..." she kiss his cheek. I raise my eye brown and smile. Hmmm it look like Michael has a new friend.
"So where's your room? I'm exhausted." she said walking up to me. " down the hall..." I said and walk out as she follows me to my room. I walk into my room and look at Maraia nd my room, "It's not much but it's home."I said.
I pick up the pillow Michael ruin earlier and smooth it out. "well I'm sure your very tired." I said. I wonder if she knows, if knows about the secret.

"Um.. Thanks." Maria says to Liz, then turns to me. "Michael I..." She says, cutting herself off, before kissing me on the cheek gratefully.
I just smile at her, and say quietly, "I'm just across the hall if you need anything. Thanks Liz."
"So where's your room? I'm exhausted." Maria says, smiling at Liz, and I watch as they head towards the door.

When we reach her room Liz looks a tad uncomfortale. "It's not much but it's home." she says with an uneasy smile.
She picks up a some what deflated pillow. "well I'm sure your very tired." she replies with an underlying question in her eyes.
"You should see my room. It's smaller than your closet." I try to joke.
"I am really sleepy, but you look as if you ave something on your mind. I'm not one of those insolate twits at school. If you want to know something just ask. I'll answer you honestly."

They leave the room, and I shut my door and turn off the light, before laying on my bed once again, but I know I won't fall asleep. Instead, I pull on my headphones and let music blast into my ears.
Maria came to me for help. Was it only because I'd helped her before? Or was it something else? My mind is a jumble of thoughts, but what I'm focusing on right now, is what on earth Liz is doing in the next room over.
After our 'talk' she probably hates me, and therefore, might take it out on Maria. Hopefully I'm overreacting.
