I am about to take a sip of the champagne when I realise Alex is looking at me confused,putting the glass back down I turn to him "Yes Daddy...he might want to make a toast.What's gotten in to you?It's not like he is going to tell you to keep away from me now...too late for that." I say laughing

"And don't worry about Max...he's too busy staring at Liz and Michael,well Michael has been in a world of his own since he arrived.He's probably figuring out how he can get Ria alone for a bit."

I smile at him before turning my gaze to the delicious spread in front of us...needless to say my mouth is watering.

"Let's eat...Mum's really outdone herself this time.Oops!!I forgot...we haven't cut our cake yet.How silly of me!" I say slightly embarrassed

I giggle when he mentions Gertrude's name,I swat him on his arm before saying "Oh Alex stop it...poor girl." But I can't help but laugh "She's taken off anyway I suppose along with Victor.I hope they find eternal happiness together."
