"I found it at the bottom of my cupboard. Suddenly remembered having placed it there some time ago." I hear from Isabel as she lays down beside me on the bed, staring up. Her eyes go a little out of focus, like she is thinking about something, and then a grin appears on her face as she shakes herself out of her mind. "Sorry about that.I kinda zoned out for a moment."
"That's alright," I say with a grin, leaning down on my side next to her. She was probably thinking about us, at least, if what's going on in my mind has anything to do with it. I mean, not to long ago, maybe a couple of hours, I was worrying if she'd figure out I liked her, and now we're...dating.
I feel like a broken record, this fact repeating in my mind all the time, so instead of thinking about it more, I grin at Isabel. "So, where were we? Waiting for your mom to get home?" I ask, mischeviously.

"So, where were we? Waiting for your mom to get home?" Alex asks me with a mischievious glint in his eyes and I can't help but laugh as I lie back with my head resting on the pillow
"Yeah...we were but I think you were planning on ways to make our precious little 'alone time' more ummm...how should I put this...productive?" I say innocently
"You do realise that once my mum finds out that little Alex,is no longer just a friend,you're not going to be so welcome here." I try to look serious but it's impossible

Propping myself up on her side with my arm, I match her grin and start laughing at her next remark. "You do realise that once my mum finds out that little Alex,is no longer just a friend,you're not going to be so welcome here."
"Well, Isabel," I begin, leaning my head forward to place a small kiss on her lips. "Even your mom can't resist the Whitman charm. It's so strong it's been patented." Kissing her again, I can't help but be glad everything is so comfortable right now. I mean, I was so worried that if she found out it would be really awkward for a while, and this is total opposite. It's such a relief.

"My my...very confident about yourself aren't you." I smirk and wrap my arms around his neck
"You know something...I'm glad we aren't all awkward around each other.When I had zoned out a while back I was wondering whether there should be some kind of adjustment period for us to shift from being friends to being a couple."
I pause to study his face,to see if he thought what I had just said was funny but he seemed to be listening intently.
"Thank god we're over with tip toeing aorund each other's feelings.To put it bluntly...it was driving me crazy."

At this last one, I jerk my head away from Isabel, shocked, worried, and embarrassed. Isabel didn't see those just then, did she? I mean, the first two definitely weren't from my head. What the hell is going on? I glance at her to see a surprised look on her face as well, and I let out a shaky breath.
"Um, did you just...see something?"
"Yeah...I have to admit,that was pretty lame.I was wondering what you were up to when you asked me to tutor you but I didn't have much time to dwell on it at that time.But...now I am glad you did.Otherwise I highly doubt either of us would have said anything to each other for a long time if not ever." Isabel says with a smile, before running her hand through my hair and pulling me in for another kiss, a longer one this time. The lyrics of Faith Hill's song 'This Kiss' race through my head as Alex kisses me back with more passion than before and I can quite literally drown myself in him...I sound crazy but who cares.
For the past few months all I had wanted was for Alex to take me in his arms and kiss me and now I finally had just that.Moving my body slightly so that I was closer to him I let one hand of mine move to his back,drinking in his wonderful scent.
