LOL!

I'm not that fond of watching sports on TV or listening to them on the radio, but get me in the stadium and you'd think I was a sports fanatic! LOL! I don't really do it when my family's around though because they'd give me strange looks for the rest of the week.

When I went to NY on my Sr. Trip what seems like years ago, we watched a Yankee vs. Rangers game. I was one of the handful of people cheering and screaming for the Rangers while all the Yankee fans gave us lewed comments and gestures. I'm sure they're not all like that. But being in the nosebleed section, the guys there were drinking a little much.

I'm surprised I hadn't found that site before. Hm. I'll have to go and check it out now...

EDIT: I'll have to go with killjoy on this one FaithfulAngel24. I'm not much of a morning person. I'll see it if I stay up all night (basically I'll see it in a few hours), otherwise it's a sunset that I'll see!

Me too! I went to see the Braves play not to long ago and you would have thought I was obssessed I was spouting off stats and yelling at players to "Slide dang it! Slide!!!" It was all in good humor though. My guy friends always beg me to come watch them play basketball at the rec com. I used to go all the time ,but there for a while it got very competitive and I got tired of having to play both Cheerleader and Nurse.

I loved that poem. I'm gonna put that site on my favorites list so I can go read more later :)

Ok off topic here but I need you guys to back me up on something.

It's not gay (friends comment not mine  ) for a guy to like having candles in his house is it?

I ask this because basicly I have a lot of them all over the place in my house.

I do this for many reasons. One burning candles helps make the house smell nice for example. But mainly for me it helps me to relax when I come home lite a few candles, turn off the lights, put in some classical or big band music and just lay down on the sofa and listen.

There's nothing wrong with a guy doing this right ?

I know! When I first went to a football game with my ex he thought I was possessed!

Between "You call that a _____ ?!" "Are you blind? He was right in front of you!" and the "WWWWWWOOOOOOOOOO!!!!"...

I think I might have even scared him at first!

I'm sending you the recipe by the way!

killjoy - there is not a thing wrong with it.

In fact, I like it when a guy has them.

It just shows that he's comfortable with his surroundings and knows how to relax (which you've already said!).

Plus... if it was a choice between having a house that's filled with old pizza boxes or candles... I'm gonna go with the candles handsdown, every time!

Consider yourself backed up!

Thank you

My best freind still shakes his head because I went out and spent a thousand dollars to have a matching bedroom suit a few years ago.And now I went out and spent seventeen hundred and got me a living room sofa set that matches.

He's like "We could have hit some yard sales and got you all that for twenty bucks!"

You probably could... but I can promise you that girls like spending time at a guy's place more if it looks nice - whether they'll admit it or not.

Besides, if you know what you like and you can afford it, I say get it because you never know what's gonna happen tomorrow. Seize the Day and all that jazz!

Besides, my guess is that he spends money on stuff that you think is not worth it too!

Thanks Morning Dreamgirl!!! I look forward to eating them ,and I'm sure my next date would thank you too. :D

killjoy: I don't think that having a bunch of candles in your home is 'gay'. Actually, to me it sounds really nice. I'd love to come home to a dimly lit room with music that soothes the soul. Trust me any girl within her right mind would appreciate such a gesture.

I think one of my ex's used that exact phrase when discussing a dress I had bought for a night out with him and his parents. Needless to say the poor boy didn't last long.

Women, want a man who is mature and sophisticated. Look at it this way: A woman would much rather spend the night in your house if she's comfortable, and I can just about guarantee she's not gonna be if you've got a Ninja Turtle Comforter and Bud Weiser Curtains. You might as well add a door mat that says, 'Not Gettin' Laid'

Actually I went out to the fabric store the other day to find some new curtains. The ones I have up now don't quite match the new sofas I bought. I didn't think about that when I found sofas I loved.

No turtles or beer stuff in my house.Just about two hundred books on bookshelfs, candles everywhere, picutres of Venice Italy, Romeo and Juliet and Knights of the Round Table and two movie posters of Casablanca and His Girl Friday.Oh yes picutres of my nephews everywhere
