I groan at Maria's joke.
"Oh come on guys that was a little funny."
"It really wasnt DeLuca...hey! I have an idea! Alex, was Maria's joke funny?!"

"Negative" Alex replies. I crack up laughing. "Good one Al...if we get out of here, remind me to give ya a high five...before I run to get away from DeLuca...you can fend for yourself."

"She'll be second in line to kill you Valenti" Alex growls at me. Oh, is he still sore about the Liz thing? Aww...poor baby...

"It really wasnt DeLuca...hey! I have an idea! Alex, was Maria's joke funny?!" I groan unable to stop myself. Stupid Kyle. He's having way too much fun at my expense. Alex answers with a swift,
"Negative" Figures. Kyle takes this oppertunity to burst out laughing which would be increasingly annoying if he didn't have such a sexy chuckle. "Good one Al...if we get out of here, remind me to give ya a high five...before I run to get away from DeLuca...you can fend for yourself."

You got that right. As soon as I get out of these restraints you've had it. You'll need speed to get away from me."She'll be second in line to kill you Valenti" Alex growls none to pleased with his current perdiciment. Poor Alex. He seems to be getting the short stick on the power wheel. Oh well, I'll try to cheer him up later after I've disposed of Kyle's body. "You better watch it Valenti." I warn my eyebrows crunching up in aggravation.

"I've got freaky alien powers and I don't know how to use them." Pondering this thoughtfully I continue, "Who knows? I might accidently freeze you into an oblivian." Pretty valid threat I'd say. Turning to Alex I have to ask, "I know this is really aggravating but just one more quick question... Are there gonna be any odd side effects due to all the proding? I mean we aren't gonna starting tinting green or anything are we?" Unable to stifle a moan I mumble to myself, "Green is soo not my color."

Alex likes me? Oh my God. I mean I shouldn't be a surprise I always knew that he liked me. He would stay at the crashdown for many hours if Maria wasn't working or if Kyle was not there. He would also walk me home and to class. So I should be so surprise. But the question is do I feel the same way. I guess I do, it just I've been denial it all this time because I wasn't sure at the time if Alex truly had feelings for me.

I sit against the wall listening to everyone joke about Kyle and Alex confession. I really want to get out of here. I want to go home and see my parents again, but our world will change once were back out into the real world. We won't be just any normal human being again, we will be freaks.

"I know this is really aggravating but just one more quick question... Are there gonna be any odd side effects due to all the proding? I mean we aren't gonna starting tinting green or anything are we?"

"No side effects, except people chasing us from now on in"
I sigh. "Damnit...great. People chasing us...fun! And how come Im the one who gets the intelligence powers?! I mean what kind of power is that! I would take speed any day Kyle!" I tell him.

"Hey...at least you'll get questions right in class now!" Kyle says before gaffawing away.

Ive noticed how Liz hasn't said anything. I bet shes thinking that its going to be awkward around us now. I bet she's going to hate hanging around with me.

"No side effects, except people chasing us from now on in" He sounds off automatically and then gives a great dramatic sigh. "Damnit...great. People chasing us...fun! And how come Im the one who gets the intelligence powers?! I mean what kind of power is that! I would take speed any day Kyle!" Uh Oh 15 minutes in and the guys are already experiencing 'Power' Envy. "Hey...at least you'll get questions right in class now!" Kyle teases before laughing it up.

"You are so DEAD Kyle Valenti." Alex promises with a flair for the angry. Someone better do damage control before this gets out of control. "Come on guys. This isn't helping." I let out a deep breath while trying to rack my brain for the correct thing to do in this particular situation. Why didn't they ever teach us how to get break out of a complex high security federally funded goverment facility? That would have been useful.

"We need to come up with a plan of action." I state wishing I could see Liz. I think that would make me feel calmer. Pulling on the restraints I growl in frustration. "Too bad super human strength wasn't on the list of abilities they manufactured into us." What do we do now?

"Come on guys. This isn't helping. We need to come up with a plan of action."
Maria growls.

"Now that would be a cool power!" I hear Kyle say. "Bet Alex wishes he has that...."
"Thats it Valenti. I may not be able to just "know" answers about other peoples feelings... but I certainly know yours chum. Since you told me. So unless you want me to tell all like you made me..."

Kyle remains totally silent.
"Good...Im glad we understand each other"

The men in white suits release me from my restraint and start to dunk me in a ice bath.
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRGGGHHHH!" I yell out. But no one pays attention. They continue dunking me for a moment or two until they put me back in my restraints.

In the distance, I suddenly hear a faint
"aaaaaaarrrghhh!"
Who ever it was sounds in real pain. "God we need to get out of here before they do that to us..."

My body feels frozen. Im a mess. I feel like life is slipping from me. But somehow...I know its not going to be that easy. No, they will keep me around. Just.
I feel sick, I feel awful. I wonder if I will ever see my sister again...if I will ever see my girlfriend Tess, or my best friend Michael.
"Im not....who you....think I am" I mutter using my last bit of strength before falling unconscious.

I uncover my eyes and realise Michael isn't in his room...he must have stepped out for a bit.Max has been missing for nearly a day now.Pretty soon my parents are going to start asking questions.What am I supposed to tell them?I believe your son has been kidnapped by some crazy government agency,who call themselves the 'Alien Hunters'.

I can't sit around doing nothing.I wish Michael would hurry up and get back from wherever he has gone.Nervously I pace the floor trying to think of some way to find my brother.By chance my gaze falls on a picture of Max,Michael,Tess and me in school during the prom last year.That's it.I can try and dreamwalk him.

Yanking the photo out of the frame I take it with me to the bed and lie down,breathing in deeply,trying to calm my frazzled nerves.I touch Max's image and the familiar wave crosses the picture as I feel myself being pulled in to the dream plane.It's all dark and cold.For a moment it's almost as if I am blind but then I get my bearings straight.Inching forward slowly I call out,"Max...Max,it's me Izzy.Can you hear me?"

A world of spinning white. Im chained to the wall rather than a table. Men in white coats run around the room, darting around in the haze. Everything is moving constantly.

"Max...Max,it's me Izzy.Can you hear me?"

I look around confused, looking for the owner of the voice.
"Is...Isabel?" I say in crackly, pained voice. I look around but everything seems to move faster and faster.
