Mr. Parker looked around the room and said, “They aren’t here.” “Exactly” Michael said. “Maybe they went outside with Alex and are now back at the booth wondering where the three of you went” Mr. Parker said. Zan walked back into the diner followed by Rath.


Mr. Parker concentrated and opened the passage that Michael could see from where he was standing. Michael raised his right eyebrow when the door opened that hadn’t been there a moment ago.
