I quickly follow Isabel down the ladder. "We have to keep moving, I dont know how long Tess can keep this up!" I say to her. As soon as we reach the bottom I see many doorways.
"Crap!" I mutter. I look around and see that one has more security measures on it. "Thats gotta be it. Lets go"
We dash past it and the alarms dont go off...yet. But I bet this is wearing hard on Tess.

Isabel

After looking around and not knowing which door to try since there are dozens.Men dressed in black and grey suits pass us by but not one of them stops to look at us.Tess sure is doing a bang up job.Michael points at one door down the dimly lit corridor which seems to have more security outside it than any of the others,
"Thats gotta be it. Lets go"

Immediately I run towards it but when I am standing right in front of it,I stop.Fear and horror at what there might find on the side makes me hesitate for a moment but when I feel Michael's presence behind me it makes me summon all the inner strength I have and I unlock the door with my powers.The room is so blindingly white when I first enter that I shield my eyes until they adjust to the brightness.

The moment we can see properly my eyes spot Max stretched out on a steel table in the centre of what seems to be a circular room.
"MAX!" the scream left ym lips before I could prevent it "Oh my god." Rushing towards him I touch his face gently,"Max,can you hear me?It's Izzy.Michael,open the restraints...quickly."

I moan. Pierce...he was just talkin to me...
"Oh my god. Max,can you hear me?It's Izzy.Michael,open the restraints...quickly."
"He's...talking to me" I groan. "He'll know if I go..."

I quickly get the restraints open. "We need to get out and go." I grab Max and hold him up. "This place needs to go. Can you do something to it?" I ask Isabel as I carry Max towards the door.

"Tell me who the others are..." I demand to Max over the microphone. "Tell ME! Or I will cause you more pain!"

Isabel

"We need to get out and go.",Michael says as he helps Max stand.I am about to help him when he says,"This place needs to go. Can you do something to it?"
I nod,"Yeah I think I can manage something."
Just then a loud voice booms in the room and I jump,"Tell me who the others are...Tell ME! Or I will cause you more pain!"
What the hell?!

"Hurry Michael...that sounded like Fischer I mean Agent Pierce." I say ushering them out of the room "You bastard you'll never find us." I yell even though I know he can't hear us with the mind warp still on.
As we hurry along the corridor we pass a power line and I stop,raise my hand in front of it and send a surge of electrical power through it which will fry the circuits and hopefully set the place on fire,I do the same a few more on the way out.

I dash down the corridor as fast as my legs will carry me under Max's weight. And then I hear it.

"INTRUDERS! GET THEM! GET BACK THE PRISONER! STOP THEM! PUT THOSE FIRES OUT! GO GO GO!"

The sounds seems to come from everwhere....all over the building. "Lets go!" I yell as I try to push Max up the rungs of the ladder.

“No Liz! He's gone for now anyway and secondly I won’t let him hurt you! Stop trying to aggrevate him. I won’t have you going through that!" Alex said to me. “Liz, please... I need you here with me." Maria joins in.

I’m about to say something when I see a vision before my eyes.

A young man and a young woman are carrying a very week guy. They use the powers and put the place on fire.

Oh My God we are going to die. “You guys were in danger. The building on fire.” I said in tears. “Oh my God. I don’t want to die. I don’t even think they are going to find us.” I said sitting back on the floor far into the corner.

"Thats how were saved" I murmur to myself. I force myself into a standing position. "Kyle...get ready" I tell him.

Its dawns on me what Alex is saying. "Right"

I come striding into the room with the four of them and stand before the nearest one...Kyle. "Get them all out. Drug them, make sure they dont escape!"

One of his lackeys reach for me and undo my restraints. Instantly I rush at him, hitting him low and fast. I dash over to Maria, knowing she would be the one to help me best right now and get her out. "Freeze them!" I shout quickly as I dash to get the drugs out of there hands.

As we reach the ladder the acrid smell of smoke reaches my nostrils and I knwo I have been successful in my mission.It feels damn good.
"Let's go." Michael yells when we hear Pierce's voice boom over the loudspeakers yet again,instructing others to stop us.
Tess must be losing control of the mind warp.To be expected,she's kept it up for long enough,poor girl must be drained.

Michael tries getting Max up the ladder but he's like a dead weight so I push them both aside,"let me go up first and then I can haul him up while you push him from below." I say and quickly climb up.
Once out of the hole,I sit on my knees and reach down with both my arms,"Come on Max...I know you're hurt but help us out a bit here." I order him gently but firmly
I don't want my boyfriend getting caught by those monsters just as I had managed to rescue my brother.

I try to heave myself up the ladder. "My...chest" I moan in pain. Its still bleeding. I try desperately to hall myself up. "Wheres...Tess?" I ask as I haul myself over the edge. When I do I almost fall backwards, back down the ladder, but Michael stops me.

I move away from the hole and collapse where I am.

"You guys were in danger. The building on fire. Oh my God. I don’t want to die. I don’t even think they are going to find us.” Liz stammers and I look around frantically. Sure enough I observe smoke filling the very toom we are being held in. "Oh my god." I mumble feeling utterly helpless in the postion I'm currently in. We'll never escape. "Thats how were saved" Alex reveals and I just sit dumbfounded. Okay, what is he getting that I'm not?

"Kyle...get ready" He commands the strength and resolve clear in his tone. Huh? What's happening? What are they going to do? "Right" Kyle agrees and I have to subdue the urge to scream. Hello? Does anyone want to let the blonde in on the plan? It is then that the door flies open and the most evil looking prick I've ever laid eyes on stands before us. That must be the creepy voice who has been taunting us for the past few hours. "Get them all out. Drug them, make sure they dont escape!"

He walks out of my sight line but I can tell from the direction he's taking that he's strolling toward Kyle. Tugging harshly on my restraints I growl under my breath, "I won't let you hurt him." Before I know whats happening Kyle is at my side. He must have broke free. He unlocks my chains and then rushes to fight the goons. "Freeze them!" He yells and I look at him blankly. I have no clue how to work my powers. Knowing that are life is a stake

I focus on the bad guys and throw my hands up almost instinctively. Sure enough as soon as I do they stop in mid motion. "Wow." I look down at my hands in awe. "That's so cool." Even during a time of great distress I can appreciate the little things like weird new super powers. I don't bask in the feeling long however ,because I want to get the hell out of dodge. "Let's go."
