I agree, although i have been to the cinemas to watch it 5 times so far since it came out 5 days ago (sad i know lol) i just love X-Men have done since i was a kid.

Although after the wait i became a little dissapointed in how Angel turned out, but was pleasantly suprised that Colossus was given a bigger role than in X-2

In the end i loved the whole movie just for the scene in the end between Wolverine and Jean Grey/Pheonix.

All up a good continuation to a great series and hopefully another one to come..
Wow 5 times? That is impressive  You helped contribute to them making a whopping 107 Million this weekend so far! I just read on Yahoo News this movie had the hugest Memorial Day Weekend opening ever, and the fourth biggest opening. 8) I am not familiar with the comic series, but I did think Ben Foster, aka Angel was underused :? It also took me awhile to figure out Kelsey Grammar was the Beast

The last movie I saw was VOLVER by Pedro Almodovar with P. Cruz.
It was amazing (I adore Almodovar).
I'm going to see Poseidon next week, has anybody already seen it?

I saw X-3 and loved it.

Didn't quite like what happened to Magneto but hey it's a comic book movie so......*shrugs*

K.G did a GREAT job as the Beast. As a long time reader of the comics he was dead on.

What was the teaser they showed? My husband and I had to leave to go pick up the kids and we missed it.

I loved the movie, although I missed Nightcrawler and it had a big feeling of finality to it. Maybe the fact that I like and write Xmen/Roswell crossovers has something to do with it. Okay, that doesn't make much sense.

Okay, remember when Xavier was speaking to his students about the video of the man in the coma and he was posing a question about putting someone else's consciousness into the body of a brain-dead person. Well, the 10 second clip is basically that of the bandaged coma victim speaking to the doctor. Goes something like this:

Comatose man (Prof. Charles Xavier): Hello Moira.
Dr. Moira MacTaggart: Charles?

The End.

Which I totally found dumb. This comatose man is not Charles Xavier so why should he sound like him? Furthermore, it would just be a little farfetched if he looked like him too. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE Patrick Stewart (I'm a Trekkie) but making the new guy look like him does not jive since Xavier was dissolved by the Phoenix.

I loved the Ghost Rider trailer.

One thing that I found very disappointing was the lack of Rogue. I know they had her going for the cure but to me, it felt like that was just thrown in there.

Well the story line was a little twisted in the movie. In the comics Kitty Pryde (the girl who could go through walls) and Colossus (Metal guy) have been a couple in the comics for a long time. There's an alternate dimensions comic out with a new story line and in that one Kitty Pryde is dating Spider-Man.

And after the first X-Man movie that comic had Bobby(Iceman) and Rogue dating. That is until she dumped him for Gambit.

I never read the comics, I wanted to but when I started to research them to see where they begin, it was a bit overwhelming. But I knew about Rogue/Gambit.

I was just surprised I guess by the lack of her because the previews made it look like she was going to be a big part of it. And I was very disappointed in her not being in the final battle. Of course, I can see why she would get the cure. ALthough if the last scene with Magneto is any indication, it isn't going to last.
