I just watched Argentina-Germany and I have to say it was so unfair!!!
And the referee, for at least 15 or 20 minutes looked the other way at all of Germany's faults but in favor of Germany invented faults where there were none.....I had heard early this week that FIFA had announced they wouldn't allow the final to be between two southamericans nor they would allow the host country to loose in quarters.....I'm starting to believe it's true.....

Well, lets hope Brazil wins the WC, because Germany surely doesn't deserve it, England I don't like at all, and well.....for me the final shoul've been between Brazil and Argentina so.......

I think that after this I'll start believing what I've been hearing many years now......

And, imo, if they have to start puting penalties to the referees it's outraging!!!

Oh, I'm sad one of my favourites is out!!! At leats we still have Brazil (another one of my favourites) and Portugal (with less less chances but still, I really like them)

I didn't see much critical decisions by the ref but then I am biased. You saw them but you are also biased. Let's see what the international press writes tommorow about the game and we see an unbiased oppinion.

:? But if I were you I would rather blame the manager for substituting Crespo and Riquelme so early.

Imo both teams were equally good/bad (it was certainly a match for fans especially the first half). Penalty shoot outs are never fair, but thats football

Well it depends on what you read. The NY Times is more unbiased than "The Sun" in example.

Even though I was rooting for Portugal, I feel a bit sorry for the english.
They were one man down but still managed to put up a fight and kept the game suspenseful till the pk`s.

But then, this was also the first good game England made this WC

Yeah, that's true plus Portugal's goalkeeper was really really good during the penalties!!

Edited to add: Brazil-France is over and all I can do is stare at the tv with my mouth open (gawking is the word?) I cannot believe this!! The favourite is out....it's definetly starting to lose it's appeal.....Well, at least Portugal it's still running!! :)

Now semis and next Sunday the big final....Shakira's singing before it starts.....

Yes go portugal!

and okay so germany lost... i feel bad for them it would've been nice 4 the host nation to win,

and 2 goals in the last 2 minutes? it'd be crushing to be so close to a penalty shootout and then get killed off...

but at least now portugal can go kill italy.... if they beat the french

i have to say thou, a game between italy and portugal would be damn interesting, even thou im a port supporter, i have to say both teams tend to go down easier when hit then others...

should make an interesting match

so portugal... plz kill france tonight...

*fingers crossed*

Portugal lost  at leats they went down fighting......and just 1-0, and the 1 resulting form a penalty which most of the time is almost a sure goal......let's hope they beat Germany....

Now, about the final.......I'm not sure who I want to win, yet.......

okay so the french won... and fine if portugal had lost to a golden goal or something, then so be it.
but it was penalty!!!! *Sigh*
i'm pissy,

well yes i do hope portugal beats germany

and also that italy beats france, for two reasons... one, i dnt want france to win, hehe i'm cruel i kno =P and 2, italy beat Australia... ALSO by a frickin penalty... so if they win, doesnt look too bad for us =D
