I glance across to where Max is with his bimbo and scowl,you'd think he'd have noticed us by now considering we've been edging closer to him.
"And I'm sure you had your reasons for being so ... strict." I refocus my attention on Alex "Yeah well no one appreciates a person who's passionate about his/her job." I say dramatically and start laughing "You're really cute Aex."
After a moment I nod in Max's direction,"I think that brother of mine is blind."

He says something about liking his life which I dont' really concentrate on because I am looking at Max again but his next sentence sends me for a six,"Besides, I enjoy your company too, Isabel."
Pulling back a little to get a better look at his face I look in to his eyes for a moment to gauge whether that was some kind of line,but I only see sincerity in their depths.
"Thanks Alex,I think you're pretty cool too." I reply shyly
"Not to forget, Max seems pretty ... uh focused on his ... eh, dancing partner."
"Well of course he's focussed,look at the way she's draping herself all over him." Phew,I'm glad he changed the subject back to Max,it was getting a little awkward

She's looking at me for a moment before replying. "Well of course he's focussed,look at the way she's draping herself all over him."
"Yeah, poor Max, he really seems to be suffering from all the attention he gets." I say mockingly. "Good thing that he's such a strong 'stud muffin' so he'll probably survive."
Seeing her look, I quickly look away again, "Sorry."
Moving us yet a bit closer to Max, I say into her ear, "Okay, we must be doing something wrong. I know, hormones can make you lose focus ... either he is deliberately trying to block you or me or you and me out of his vision or ... I don't know."

I'm dancing away with Cassie in a VERY procative way when... I see something that is the most horrible sight in the world.

IM GOING TO KILL HIM!!!
I throw myself further into my dancing but it certainly isnt doing me any good. Cassie seems happy enough and murmurs something along the lines of, "How about we just leave now, big boy?" To which I mutter a "later". She shrugs and keeps dancing.
And its then I realise they've purposely been moving towards me. Which means that Alex knows the truth. Which means Isabel knows the truth. Which makes not only Alex, but also myself, are dead men.
"Im getting a drink" I growl to Cassie as I turn around. She grabs me by the shoulder and purrs in my ear, "I thought you were driving"

And then I grin. Two can play at their game. I know for a fact Isabel hates my dating ways, and Alex isn't too happy about it either...
I grab Cassie's hand and lead her to the dark corner nearest Alex and Isabel and then proceed to ram my tongue down her throat. Immediately she's all over me. "He's going to give her a Tonsilectomy if he doesn't look sharp." I start laughing at the absurdity of the whole situation "Obviously he's trying to piss us or rather me off Alex so...Just kiss me!That should get his attention fast enough." I say determindely

I think I just shocked the poor fellow but I can't help it,my competitive spirit is in full gear now.Two can play this game Maxwell Evans!

And the only reason I didn't go and say hello to Issy was because I wanted to re-meet her again after her being away in somewhere other than a pub. And now she's being all competive and pissed off with me. I knew I left this place for a reason!!!
I grab Cassie by the waist and lift her up off the ground. She immediately knows what I'm thinking and she wraps her legs around me. I close my eyes tight, knowing I will not open my eyes again and that way I will win. Cassie starts to reach for my zip and thoughts of Alex and Isabel go out of my head.
