CHAPTER 41













LIZ P.O.V

I’m at Maria and Michael’s apartment.

They said that Sky and I could stay for as long as we want.

I don’t believe that Max and I are rally over…

I didn’t want to have to say that or even give back my ring, but who knows if I should be the one wearing it…

I walk to the bad and see that Sky is still awake…

It’s funny you know…

She’s only 8 months and I think she understands exactly what’s going on.

She was crying when I came home alone and asked where Max was.

“Honey, it’s time to sleep” I say and she looks up at me while sucking on her thumb.

“Da…da” she squeaks out and I look at her.

“I’m sorry baby” I say and she starts to close her eyes.

I kiss her cheek and lie down next to her…

I feel tired and before I know it I am sleeping peacefully with my daughter in my arms.

BANG….

I hear a noise and my eyes fly open…

I look at the bedside table and realise that it is 3.45 am.

BOMMM…

I hear another noise and look to my right.

I look down at Sky to see her sleeping with her thumb in her mouth.

I get up to go down stairs…

I open the bedroom door and walk to the stair case.
BAMMM…

I hear another noise as I make my way to the kitchen …

And then it all goes blank…

I feel something smash against my head and I am knocked to the floor unconscious.

CHAPTER 42










MAX P.O.V

Its 8.45 am in the morning and I didn’t get much sleep last night.

It was the first time that I have slept without Liz in my arms, knowing that t was my fault.

RING RING

I hear the phone ring and I pick it up off of my bedside table wishing that it is Liz.

“Hello?” I say anxiously into the phone.

“Max” Maria screams into the phone and I wince at the pain in my ear.

“What’s up Maria?” I say as I wait for her to answer.

“It’s Liz…” she begins to say and I cut her off in mid sentence.

“What … what happened?” I say and I feel my blood start to boil.

“She’s been kidnapped” Maria says and waits.

“What?” I say in shock.

That’s the only thing I can say…

“Last night… she must have got up and went down stairs” she says and I still don’t understand.

How would they know that she was kidnapped?

“How do you know?” I ask the question that is haunting me.

“There’s a note and there’s blood” …

Blood … did she just say blood…???

My babies been kidnapped and she’s hurt.

“Wait, blood?”

“Yes…Max they were robbing the apartment and Liz woke up…” she starts to explain and again I cut her off… wanting to know more answers.

“What would they do to her?” I ask.

“They had to get rid of any evidence…”Maria replies and I hear the hurt in her voice.

“So my Lizzie… was evidence?” I ask also feeling hurt and angry.

“Yeah, Max I’m so sorry” she says and I hear her sob.

“Where’s Sky?” I ask as I feel the panic rise in my chest.

Oh God please No…

“She’s here with me” she says and I breathe a sigh of relief.

“Listen Ria … I’m coming” I start to say as I grab the phone and run to put my clothes on.

“I want to see the note” I say as I button up my jeans.

“Ok … Bye Max” she says and I say bye before hanging up and running down stairs.

“Bye” …

CHAPTER 43








LIZ P.O.V

I wake up and I feel a sharp pain near the back of my head.

I raise my hand and place it gently over the forming lump…

“Ouch” I say as I look back down to my hand to find a trail of blood.

I raise my head and look around…

I’m in a dark place…

Everything is black.

The windows are painted in Black paint, hiding the view from the out side...

The walls are painted blank and there is only one light to the far right of the room and all I can see is the door.

I get up slowly placing my hand back to my head when I feel the dizziness start to take over.

I slowly stagger my way over to the door, only for it to fly open moments later and slam me back to the ground.

…Once again hurting my head.

“Well, well, well … look who finally decided to wake up” a familiar voice says as they close the door and step into the light to make them self visible.

“You…?” I manage to spit out trough all my anger.

“Yes, yes, yes … it’s me” she says and I swear I could punch that bitch in the face.

“So, I heard about you and Max … you know breaking up, but that’s not enough” she says as she continues to slowly make her way over to me.

I struggle to stand and when I finally do … she pushes me back to the floor.

“No Lizzie … it’s not enough … I want you gone, I need you dead… so he can love me again” she says and my eyes grow wide.

She wants to kill me….

This crazy bitch wants to kill me…

“And then Max, me and Sky will be one happy family” she says as she smiles.

She turns around to leave but stops once she has reached the door.

“Ohh and Lizzie?” she says as she turns to face me.

I look at her once again from my place on the cold, hard floor.

“I couldn’t do it all alone… you see I have some help” she says before smiling wickedly and turning to open the door.

I see two figure step in and once they are into the light and visible…

I am shocked…

‘Oh God No’ ….

Those are my last thoughts as I feel the razor sharp knife being sliced through my skin.

MAX P.O.V

I run up to the apartment and see all the police cars out the front.

“Max…”Maria screams as she throws herself into my arms.

“I’m so sorry” she says as she cries into my shoulder.

I look behind her to see Michael with watery eyes.

“I’m sorry man” he says and I nod.

“Me too” I say as I pat his back.

“Sky” I say as I spot my daughter crawling out of the kitchen with tears in her eyes.

“Hey baby” I say as I pick her up in my arms.

“Ma…ma” she says as she looks at me with sad eyes.

I know that she is confused…

But sometimes I think she knows more about what’s going on then I do.

“I know baby … I’m gonna find mummy ok?” I say and she looks into my eyes and wraps her arms around my neck.

“I promise … I bring her home” I add.

“Max… this is the letter” Maria says as she comes to my side with the letter in her hand.

I pick it up and read it….

I HAVE KIDNAPPED YOUR FRIEND

BY 6.30 PM TONIGHT SHE WILL BE DEAD …

I look closely at the writing…

And a name flashes through my head ….

“Samantha” I say and Michael looks at me weirdly.

“What?” he asks in confusion.

“Samantha Millie… she’s my ex… she’s got Liz” I say and one of the police men looks at me and says.

“How do you know?”

“This writing… I have more letters like this, written by her… here” I say as I jog out to my car with them hot on my heels.

I look in my glove box and find the first letter I ever received from her …

… My birthday card.

“Ok sir… we’ll do all we can” they say and I nod while looking down at Sky.

She is looking up at me with her mouth open and her eyes sad.

I am going to find Liz …

I am going to find the love of my life.

LIZ P.O.V

When I regain consciousness …I have no idea where I am …

It feels like I’m moving I look up to find it blocked off.

I have a feeling I am in a moving vehicle.

I have something strapped to my mouth to prevent me from screaming and my hands are strapped behind my back…

I don’t believe this …

I don’t believe they would do this to me…

I’m their daughter…

I feel the car come to a stop and the engine turn off.

I then hear footsteps make their way over to me.

The closer they get the more pain I am in.

When the boot opens I look around… I know where I am.

I’m at home…

I’m near the waterfall.

They both carry me towards the water and I have a feeling I know what is going to happen next.

All can do is pray that Max and Sky are both safe …

Pray that they life long and happy lives…

“Do you know why we are doing this?” My father asks as he lets go and I fall hardly to the floor.

I shake my head.

“All we wanted was a happy family … one of our own … and what we got wasn’t what we wanted” my mother replies and she smiles down at me.

“You aren’t prefect Liz … all we ever wanted was perfect” my father adds as they throw my into the waterfall and I feel the water enter my mouth and hear the car drive away…

No don’t leave me here…

I’m going to die…

I’m going to drowned…

MAX P.O.V

I knock on her door knowing that she is home.

KNOCK KNOCK

“Max, what a surprise” she says as she opens the door and I look at her.

“Want to come in?” she asks and I nod.

“I knew you would come eventually…I’m irresistible” she says and I smile.

“What did you do to her?” I ask as I look up into her blue eyes.

“To who?”

“Liz”

“I don’t know what your talking about” she says and I look at her and smile.

“I should have done it long ago” I say and she smile devilish at me.

“Tell me what you did?” i say as I make my way over to her with a sexy grin on my lips.

I press my body against hers and place my lips on her neck.

“I didn’t do it alone you know” she says and I pull away slowly.

“Who helped?” I ask as I smile at her.

“The Parkers” she says and I feel my fist clench.

“Where is she?” I ask and I close my eyes in disgust as I feel her hands travel down south.

“She should be dead by now” she says and my blood starts to boil.

“How?” I ask and I cup her breast, from out side of the shirt.

“Oh Max” she moans and I squeeze harder.

“How?”

“Their gonna drown her in the waterfall near your house” she says as she tries to attack my lips but I push her away.

“What are you doing?” she asks angrily.

“Going to safe my future wife” I say as I walk over to the door.

“You must be crazy if you’re going to leave me for that bitch” she says and I smile at her.

“No sweetie, your crazy…I was wearing a wire” I say as I open the door and 5 police men tackle her to the floor.

“Good work man” Michael says as he hands me my key and I jump into my car.

“Thanks” I say before speeding home.

I got to safe her…

i hope you all like the end of the story and post your final replies...!!!

i'd like to say thankyou to everyone who has read the story and i hope you will all continue to read my other stories as well.

On that note, i will be posting Hip-2-Hop sooon ... maybe a week from now... and then a week from then i will start to post Physical Education ... so keep your eyes out for them and tell me what you think ...

MAX P.O.V

I pull up to the house just as the Parkers are leaving.

Lucky they didn’t see me…

To bad their going to come across the police on their way home.

I wonder how long you get in prison for attempted murder…hmmm…???

I see a figure floating on the water…

I slam onto the breaks and jump out of the car…

“LIZ” I scream as I look into the waterfall to see Liz’s still figure.

I see the cuts all over her body and I want to personally pay the Parkers a visit.

“NOOOO” I scream as I run up to her.

“Baby look at me” I say as I pat her cold cheek.

“Liz, please be ok” I say as I cup her face.

I feel her pulse…

Oh No …

She’s not breathing …

I look down at her and start CPR…

I’ve never done it before and don’t really know what the hell I’m doing…

I press down on her chest three times and then breathe into her mouth for another three.

I continue the routine for another three times.

“LIZ PLEASE” I scream as I look down at her.

I press against her chest a bit harder until I se her start choking up water.

“CHHHCHHHOOO” …

I pat her back hard and help her sit up.

“M-max” she says slowly, while still spitting and blinking.

“I’m here baby” I say as I hold her close to me.

“What happened?” she asks and I smile down at her.

“There all in jail baby… and your safe and I’m here” I say and she smiles up at me.

I see her looking at my neck and look down to spot what she is staring at.

I put her engagement ring on the chain necklace she brought me for my birthday.

“Can I have my ring back, please?” she asks and I look at her eyes to see the tears forming in them.

“Only if you promise to marry me, with in the next month” I say and she smiles up at me.

I remove my necklace and place the ring on her trim finger.

“I love you Liz” I say as I look into her eyes.

“I love you too” she says as she presses her sweet lips against mine for a passionate kiss.

She pulls away and looks up at me strangely …

“What?” I ask.

“Can I ask a question?” she asks and I nod.

“Why do you always choose the crazy ones?” she asks referring to Tess and Samantha…

“I have no idea… but I guess I did ok with you, ha?” I ask and she smiles brightly.

“Yeah I guess” she says and we continue to kiss.
