Then I think about what I just said, "No, that's Scott Travers from my high school."

I roll my eyes,men are so clueless."Yes Alex,little girls do.It's more like idol worship,'I adore you from afar' kind of crush.It's really sweet and harmless.My cousin's ten year old daughter has the biggest crush on her father's best friend.Says she'll marry him when she's older."

"And to answer your question, I was sometimes stuffed into them till senior year when I started to grow." I tell her with a shrug of my shoulders. "What can I say, jocks are always so damn jealous of us band geeks."

I am a little baffled when Max leaves me to go back over to the bar. Then I look at the clock and decide that it's time to take this party up a notch. I go over to the sound equipment and pick up a microphone and turn it on. "Excuse me, everyone, may I have your attention please?" I wait for the crowd to quiet down a little before I continue. "Is everybody having a good time?" Everyone yells and hoots and hollars and I smile and laugh. "Great! Well, this party is just getting started. For those of you who are here for the first time, I like to keep things interested by playing games. No one is required to participate but it's a lot more fun if you do."
I cover the mike and lean closer to one of the waiters I have keeping things running smoothly. "Are we all set in the other room? Did you get a count?" I ask him. He nods and I grin. "Perfect." I uncover the microphone and say, "Ok, we have taken a count of all the people here and there are..." I look to the waiter and he mouths the number 52. Even I'm shocked by this. "52? Are you kidding me? I know I didn't invite that many people. Oh, well. Anyway, in the next room to my left, which is the ballroom, we have set up 50 chairs. Hmm. That means that someone is going to be standing." I give them an evil grin and then say, "Shall we go in there and I'll explain how our first game will work?"

This sounds...strange. As soon as Liz announces that there is a crush of people rushing to the room with the chairs. Quickly I join the throng of people and get a chair in the room. Well you would think that Liz would come over and say thank you... but there you go. I sigh as I sit down and wait to see what's about to happen.

I grin at Tess. "Well, here we go. Shall we?" I ask her, holding my hand out to her. I think I know at least partially what Liz has in mind. 52 people, 50 chairs and when we get in the room, I notice that they are in two rows, back to back. Looks like a set up for musical chairs.
