Chapter 3

Chapter 4

"One of the scientist on my planet mixed my dna with that of a human along with some of the other people in my family and a couple of my friends. I only know all this Liz because every since I moved back here to New Mexico after college I started having flashes. Max takes a deep breath before he continues, not sure to go about telling her the rest. "Last night when I brought you in here you called me Max and asked me not to leave. Then this morning I got a vision of us making love on Antar, Liz. I thought maybe I was dreaming, but then just a few minutes ago when you called me Zan I knew." Max said and heard Liz draw in a deep breath.

"I called you Zan?" Liz asked, completely embarised. "Max every since I was little I have been having these dreams of a man coming towards me and I keep calling him Zan, but I never saw his face." says Liz.

"Liz do you know what this means?" he asks her.

"Yea, we were married Zan on Antar." she says realizing she just called him Zan again.

Chapter 5

"Well, Max I would like you to meet my best friend Maria whom is as you can tell also and alien." Liz says with a hint of a laugh in her voice when she feels Maria hit her in the arm and yell at her.

"LIZ!" Maria yells. Just as she is about to continue she hears a knock on the door and panic spreads all over her face.

"Calm down Maria, you know it only gets worse with the more excited you get. I mean seriously look it is spreading up your arms." says Liz barely able to hold back a laugh.

Max walks to the door and opens it a crack to see Michael standing there. "Oh hey Michael, um well be out in just a minute." Max says as he starts to close the door, but he feels something stop it and realizes that it is Michael's foot.

"What is going on in here Maxwell?" he asks.

Max not knowing how much longer he can hold Michael off he simply tells him "Maria just got a little upset. She's ok though." says Max.

That's not enough for Michael and he pushes his way into the room and by the time he gets in there Maria has already calmed down knowing if she doesn't that Michael will find out about her secret that she know shares with Max and Liz. She walks over to Michael and wraps her arms around his neck and pulls him in for a quick kiss, but it quickly developes into something more. Suddenly, she hears Liz clear her throat.

"Uh-hum" says Liz noticing the light blue that is coming from Maria's hands once again. "Guys if everyone is ok I think we should go now." Liz says trying to take Maria’s interest off Michael long enough for her to notice her hands. She steps around behind Michael then and holds up her hands for Maria to see. Immediately, Maria looks at her own hands and sees the light blue tint and quickly puts them behind her back.

"Let's go." she says to Michael.

"Just a minute Maria, I wanna talk to you about something." says Michael.

"What is it Mikey, can it wait for a little while?" she asks still trying to calm down.

"No, Maria I need to do this now." says Michael.

"Okay, Liz, Max we'll be out in a few." says Maria looking at Liz with confusion in her eyes.

Liz looks at Maria and sees the confusion in her eyes and she asks her without talking if she is sure she wants her to leave. After Maria nods that it is okay she turns and grabs Max's hand and walks out the door shutting it behind them.

After shutting the door Max and Liz exchange glances and He tells hers "We are going to have a long talk about this later." Then he smiles at her knowing that this situation could go 1of 2 ways.

"I wonder what he is telling her" says Liz.

"I don't know, but I hope it's the truth." Max slips

"Max, is there something you forgot to tell me?" asks Liz

I know you know about my powers, but if you think that I am stupid enough to let you get away with claming to be an alien then you better think again.” She says not quite sure if he is telling the truth. She wants to believe it, but her and Liz have been alone for so long she isn’t sure if she should believe him or not.

“Maria, I swear to you that I’m an alien, and I can prove it.” Says Michael as he lowers his hand to the bed and changes the bedspread from a dark blue to a bright pink color.

Liz was walking with me that day and if she hadn’t pulled me back I probably would have let it go and found out what my powers were.” She looks at Michael and she can see that he really cares about her because of the concern in his eyes.

“Maria, baby I’m so glad you shared that with me. I really feel like I know you and the more I find out the more sure of it that I am. You amaze me and I want to protect you so that no one hurts you again.” Says Michael as lovingly as he can.

“OHHHHH!” Maria moans. She has to stop this now, but how? Michael is all over her now. She can feel his hands traveling all over her body. “So, who is going to get Alex and Isabel to stop kissing long enough to get into the car?” asks Max.

“Um hello, is anybody home?” asks Maria, while she is knocking on the wall beside where she is standing.

To that Alex and Isabel look up and sheepishly grin. “Are you guys ready?” asks Alex a little nervous and embarrised at the same time.

“Well, we are but the better question is are you two going to stop kissing long enough to go out tonight?” teases Michael.

“Only if we have to.” Says Isabel, while, she sticks her tongue out to Michael.

“Hey I wouldn’t want that nasty thing in my mouth either” Says Michael, causing everyone to laugh. “Let’s go and have some fun.” He says.

They all head to the door for the ride over to the club.


Once they all get to the club and get in they go to a round booth in a corner and the girls put their jackets and purses down.

Everyone orders drinks and they sit and talk for a few before a slow song came on.

“Would you like to dance, Liz” asks Max. He offers her his hand and she accepts it knowing that she is going to be pulled to him and there is nothing that she can do about it.

She takes his hand and gets up. When they get to the dance floor Max wraps his arms around her waist and pulls her close. “Liz, baby, I could hold you like this forever. You are the most beautiful woman in the world to me.” All she can do is gaze into the gorgeous hazel colored eyes and know that he truly cares for her.

“Max, how is it that you know just what to say to me to make me fall for you so much?” “You know just what I need to hear and when. How do you know that Max?” asks Liz.

“Well, baby because like I told you we were married in our past life. So, I guess it is just the love and knowledge that we had in the past.” He says.

“Well, I guess I can understand that I just wish I could remember our past together. It might help me to understand our present.” Liz tells him as she is slow dancing with her arms around his neck.

“I don’t remember much about our past either, but I do know that we were married and I loved you so much and now I have this automatic connection to you that I don’t understand say much less know how to control.” Says Max
“Max, do you think we will ever learn the whole truth about our past?” asks Liz.

“I hope so baby.” Is all he says before brushing his lips against hers for a soft kiss that quickly turns needy.

They break apart panting, and Max grabs Liz’s face with both hands. “baby, I’m not sure what is going on, but I feel like if we don’t do something I am going to have spontaneous combustion turn up right here.”

This time Max pulls apart and asks Liz …..

“Princess, do you think that you and I could leave early and make this a night to remember?”

“Max, as much as I would love to I’m just not ready for that yet, please try and understand.” She pleads with him.

“Well, it’s just that I saw you frowning and I thought maybe you were having second thoughts about me or something, because if you are I will go sit back down and leave you alone if you like.” Isabel was talking so fast that he couldn’t say anything.

“Izzy, baby stop.” He says. “I was just thinking that I am complete infatuated with you and I have no idea what has gotten into me. I’m not usually this aggressive. I just feel this overwhelming feeling that I missed you and we spent far too long away from each other. I know we just met, but Izzy that is just this feeling I have. I also feel like if I don’t hold onto you I will loose you forever.” He continues.

“Oh, Alex that is exactly how I feel. Those were my exact thoughts.” Cries Isabel.

“Good do you think it might be possible for me to ask you a very important question?” he asks.

“Sure, Alex what is it?” she inquires.

“Well, I was wondering what you might think about us moving in together?” he asks cautiously.

“Oh, um, Alex are you sure? I mean we don’t really know each other that much. Do you think that is a good idea?” Isabel rambles, until she realizes that Alex is staring at her in awe.

“Isabel, I really do want to wake up next to you every morning and go to bed with you every night, but if you have doubts, then we don’t have to move in together. I just thought I would throw the idea out there.” Says Alex.

“Okay, Alex, I will but on one condition.” Says Isabel with a huge grin on her face.

“Oh yea, What’s that?” asks Alex. Thinking she is the most beautiful human he has ever seen.

“Well, we have to consummate this relationship every night.” She smiles then and she knows how happy Alex is then because he grabs her and swings her around, drawing the attention of the people gathered around.

Chapter 6

Max excuses himself and heads to the restroom. On the way he notices a blond standing by the bar with a drink in her hand.

“Hi Tess, how are you?” he asks.

“Max, what are you doing here?” she tries to play it off as if she hadn’t already seen the brunette he had been dancing with.

“Oh, I’m just hanging out with some friends. What about you?” he asks.

“Well, I’m here with my brother Kyle. You remember him don’t you Max?” she asks already knowing that Max can’t stand Kyle.

“Yea, well that’s great have fun Tess.” He tells her before he turns to walk away.

“Wait, Max, can I join you? I’m not really having fun with Kyle.” Tess asks.

“Well, I’m on a date Tess. But if you would like to come to our table that would be okay I guess.” He tells he not sure if this is a good idea, but he doesn’t want to be rude.

“Oh, good, I’m so relieved you said that.” She exclaims.

“Okay, well let me just go to the restroom and we’ll walk to the table together.” Says Max having a cense of dread.

Max walks to the restroom and feels Tess staring at him as he walks away. When he exits the restroom he notices that Tess is no where to be found. Walking back to his table he wanders where she went. He looks up and sees her already at his table.

As he walks to the table he also notices that Liz seems to be ignoring Tess. Now, Max is starting to get really nervous about letting Tess come over to the table. When he arrives at the table all eyes turn to him and he can see mixed emotions everywhere. He knows that the guys don’t like Tess, but they don’t understand her, and it’s obvious that Liz is about ready to shoot her.

“Hey Tess what’s up?” Max asks. He now looks over at Liz and can see hurt in her eyes, but he’s not sure why and he is really confused.

“Max, how come you didn’t tell your friends about us?” she asks trying to sound hurt.

“Tess, what the hell are you talking about?” he asks trying to figure out what the hell she is talking about.

“You know Max, that we are together.” She says shyly.

“Tess, are you delusional or are you just on something?” he asks when he hears Maria snort and feels the spray of her drink on his arm. He turns and looks at his friends and realizes for the first time that Liz has gotten up and is walking off.

“Maxie, baby, you know you are with me. Didn’t you just stay the night the other night?” she says.

“Not only no, Tess, but hell no.” He is so confused now. He doesn’t know what she is thinking but she must be on crack.

“Tess, maybe you should go home. I think you have had too many mixed drinks.” He says truly concerned for her.

“But, Maxie, baby you know I love you why are you acting like this.” She plays like she is drunk but she is just trying to get rid of the one person in Max’s life that can ruin everything she ever had planned.

“Maxie, baby why don’t you take me home if you are so worried about me?” she says.

“Tess, get a life I already told you I am on a date. Not to mention I am not taking you anywhere. There is no you and me and there never will be. I think you need to leave.” He says as he notices that his friends are all staring at him.

He turns to walk off but Tess has other plans. She grabs him and starts to kiss him when she feels someone yank her hair so hard she could swear it got pulled out of her head. She is pulled backwards and lands on her ass in the floor.

“WHAT THE HELL?” She screams.

“BITCH , KEEP YOUR NASTY HANDS OFF MY MAN!!!!” Liz yells. Now she sees Max with a look of shock on his face. But, Liz isn’t done yet.

“DON’T EVER LET ME SEE YOU TOUCH OR EVEN LOOK AT HIM AGAIN!” She yells at Tess.

Tess gets up and she is so mad that all she can do is stand there with her mouth open and her eyes huge. She doesn’t know who this girl thinks she is that she can take her man, but she will get even.

“Maxie, baby, you just gonna stand there or are you going to do something?” Tess asks incredulously.

“Actually, Tess I think my girlfriend just told you what needs to be said.” Says Max, looking at Liz with love in his eyes.

“UGHHH!” Says Tess before she turns to go. She stomps off but she isn’t done. She will get even with that bitch.


“Oh my god Liz!” Maria starts her usual ranting until Michael puts a stop to it by taking her hand and dragging her to the dance floor. It is obvious that Max and Liz need a few minutes alone. Soon, Alex and Isabel follow suit not believing what Liz just did.

“Princess?” Max, asks slowly. “What was that all about?” he asks with concern in his voice.

“Well, I don’t know exactly, but when she walked up I just instantly wanted to slap her and then when she started talking about you two being a couple I got pissed. So, I walked off thinking that would help but, then when I saw her put her hands on you I just about had a massive stroke. I could feel my blood boil and before I knew it I just couldn’t help myself.” She says finally feeling a little calmer.

“Baby, you know that there is nothing between her and me. I used to date her a couple times, but there weren’t any emotions involved. I don’t know how to explain it but every since I met you it’s been nothing but you for me.

“Max, did you really mean what you said about me being your girlfriend?” Liz asks seriously now.

“Liz, I did say that and that is what I would like, but if you don’t think you are ready then just say so. I think I will be okay if we aren’t together. I just don’t think I could handle it if you walked away from me.” Says Max.

“Okay, but I don’t want you to think that this means you own me or something, I’m very independent Max and I want us to be an equal partnership. If you can’t promise me that then don’t bother.” Says Liz.

He pulls into his arms then and looks her in the eyes. “ Liz I will never treat you like you are my property. You are a princess in every since of the word and you will always have the best I can give you.” Says Max before he brushes his lips against hers intending on a light kiss. The kiss quickly turns into something more and she can feel herself being pulled to him. She can’t control herself.

She is trying to fight it but it is just too much for her to handle. She feels herself falling deeper and deeper into it. Suddenly, she sees something like a dream. She wonders to herself if she is dreaming until she realizes that it is a memory, because it is her about 5 years ago. She jerks back and stops kissing Max. “Max, we have to stop.” Liz says trying to catch her breath.

Looking at him she realizes that he saw it too. She isn’t sure what is going on but it is starting to freak her out. “Max, maybe we should refrain from touching each other tonight.” She says.

“Liz, are you okay, baby? Is something wrong?” he asks with concern in his eyes.

“No, Max, I’m okay. It’s just that every time we kiss I feel like I am being pulled somewhere and I’m scared to find out where it leads to. I care about you Max, and I don’t want to see you get hurt.” She says knowing he would understand what she is feeling, because she knows he feels it too.

“Oh, okay well, we can stop kissing if that is what you like.” Says Max.

“Let’s just have some fun and dance some more.” Liz says trying to lighten the mood.

She grabs his hand and leads him to the dance floor. She turns around and starts to dance; then the song ends and a slow song comes on. She steps forward and places her arms around Max’s neck. She knows she is sending mixed signals but she can’t help it. It’s too hard to resist. He is so sexy and he doesn’t even have to try.

Max looks down into her brown eyes and looks at her as if he can see her soul in her eyes. “Liz, what are you doing? I thought you didn’t want to touch anymore tonight?” He asks to make sure this is what she wants.

“Honestly, I don’t know what I want. I’m really scared Max. I think we should try to deal with this somewhere else just in case something happens you know?” Liz says.

Max nods understanding what she is saying so he grabs her by the hand and leads her to the table so she can get her stuff. He tells the rest of their group that they are leaving.

“Bye guys don’t do anything I wouldn’t do.” Michael says receiving an elbow in the side from Maria.

Liz looks at him a shade redder than before, while Maria is looking at her with questions in her eyes and Liz knows that she is going to hear it from Maria in the morning.

“Bye everybody!” Liz says.

They grab hands and head out the door not knowing that Tess is waiting for them in the shadows.


Tess is watching them as they get into Max’s car when she decides to follow them and find out where they are going.

She gets into her car and is following them when she notices Liz leans the seat back. Tess thinks to herself “If that bitch is putting her lips on my man I will make her regret it.”

She continues to follow them not being detected until she sees them turn into an apartment complex.

She parks down the street and runs into the apartment complex where she sees Liz leading Max by the hand to a door. “He is such a pansy.” Tess says to herself.

She walks up to the door of the apartment and then changes her mind she wants to wait a few so she can catch them at it. Little does she know Max saw her out of the corner of his eye and he is going to take care of her once and for all.

She watches as he walks to the door and she goes to the kitchen to get a drink. She starts thinking about the flash of memory she got earlier. Now, she is wondering what is going on. He never had a girlfriend before and even though he didn’t consider Tess a girlfriend, she obviously did. So, he asks her to leave.

“Tess, your drunk and I really don’t think you want to do this.” Says Max.

Max hears something behind him and he sees Liz coming out of the apartment.

“Max, what is she doing here?” Liz asks with agitation in her voice.

“She followed us Liz. I saw here when we came inside and I thought I could take care of it.” Max says sheepishly.

“Well, obviously, it isn’t working. So, let me try.” Says Liz as she walks over to Tess. Without saying anything Liz just balls up her fist and hits Tess right in the jaw. Tess stumbles back a little and then looks at Liz.

“You bitch!” screams Tess.

Liz swings again this time she lands a fist in Tess’s right eye. Then another. Soon she is blacking out and Max has to pull her off Tess. The whole time Liz is hitting Tess she is saying “Stay away from us you have already killed our friends and I won’t let you kill my man.” Suddenly she snaps as Max pulls her back and she is sobbing uncontrollably.

“Shhh! Princess, it’s okay. I’m right here I’m not going anywhere.” Max whispers to Liz trying to call her down. “Liz, baby I’m okay. We’re okay baby lets just go inside.” Max says as he picks Liz up and carries her in the house, not even giving Tess a second thought.

"What do you say about some pepperoni pizza and some coke?" Isabel asks.

"Only, if I can have you for dessert." says Alex.

"Um, okay I guess I should go take a shower and change into something yummy then." Isabel says with a smile on her face from ear to ear.

"Can I join you?" asks Alex.

"I thought you said you wanted me for dessert. But, I guess I'm cool with the whole sharing the shower." she grins.

As Alex steps into the shower with Izzy he realizes that his life can only get better one way, if she will agree to marry him, but are they ready for that? So he decides to take the slow approach to the situation. "Izzy, baby, can I ask you a question?"

"Sure Alex, what's up?" she asks not quite sure if she is reading him correctly or if he really is getting extremely serious in a blink of an eye.

"Well, I know that we just moved in together, and we are great together, but I was wondering how you feel about marriage and kids."he says.

"Alex, you know I am really happy with you, but are you sure you want to start discussing marriage and children?" she asks him not sure of anything at the moment.

"Well, I'm asking because I kinda need to know some of the thoughts in that beautiful head of yours as well as, the thought crossed my mind that we will very likely be growing old together." he says to the most beautiful woman he has ever laid eyes on.

"Alex, are you saying you would like to get married and have children with me someday?" she asks totally shocked at this conversation at the moment.

"Yea, I guess so. I think I would just like to know how you feel about the subject." he says shyly. "I really care about you alot and since we got together I can't see myself with anyone else ever again, and I was wondering if you felt the same way."

"Alex, I care about you too. Yes, I do want to have children. In fact I have it all planned out. I want to have a little boy first, and then god willing I want to have a pretty little girl that I can dress in elegant gowns and I want to have them about 3 years apart, and I want to be married for at least 3 years before I start having children. That is after I get my business started going really good first."she says barely stopping for breath. Suddenly, Alex has his arms around her and he has his lips on hers, kissing her like there is no tomorrow.

He pulls back long enough to tell her the one thing that is on his mind the most. "Isabel Evans, I love you." he says with a smile from ear to ear.

"Oh Alex, I love you too." She says with tears of joy in her eyes.

"Let's hurry and get out of here before the water gets cold and later I will show you just how much I truly love you Ms. Evans." he says as he grabs the shampoo to help her wash her hair. This is one of his new favorite things to do.

A Few Days Later

Maria, Liz and Isabel are sitting in Liz's living room talking and eating ice cream.

"So, chicas what do you think about these guys we seem to be spending all of our times with?" ask Maria

"Well, I for one am very happy to have found Alex." says Isabel.

"I am happy with Max as well, he is very sweet." Liz says with a nastalgic smile on her face.

"Well, let me tell you Michael is a complete babe." Maria says with a big smile on her face.

"I want to ask you guys a question." says Liz.

"Sure, Liz, what is it." asks Isabel.

"Do ya'll feel anything strange, for lack of a better word, when ya'll are with the guys." asks Liz.

"Yea, I feel like I am being pulled into a different universe when I am with Alex." says Isabel.

"What about you Maria?" asks Liz.

"Yea, that's weird cause just until now I didn't know how to explain it." says Maria.

"What do you think it is?" asks Isabel.

"I'm not sure but I am bound and determined to find out." says Liz

"Hey guys what's up?" asks Michael as he walks into Alex's apartment.

"Not much." says Alex. As he sets down a glass of coke for him and one for Max he shakes Michaels hand.

"I wanted to meet you guys because I wanted to asks you guys about something." says Max.

"Maxwell, are you ok? What has you in this kind of mood?" asks Michael.

"Well, the other night you know I told Liz about you and I being Aliens." he said waiting for Michael to nod his head in acknowledgement before continueing on.

"Well, you guys also know I was a virgin." says Max.

"Whoa, Maxwell, what do you mean was?" says Alex seeing that he is the smart one appairently.

"Well, I'm not giving any details except to says that I think Liz and I connected." says Max. "And I mean really connected. Like bonded." he continues.

"WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT?" asks Michael.

"Well, after we made love we sort of had an out of body experience. I guess that's what you would call it."says Max.

"Well, now I would say that is interesting to say the least." says Alex.

"What happened. I mean what did it feel like? What did you see?" asks Michael.

"You know what de sha vue feels like?" asks Max. "Well, it was kinda like that, but it was also like watching a movie. You know kinda like a cross between the two, except that I don't know it was weird. Like I was really there doing the things we saw only I know it couldn't happen, because it wasn't in this life. It's like memories, but they were really bad ones." says Max.

"Let's find out what happened in our past life."says Alex.

"It's not that easy Alex, how do you think we can find out exactly what happened in our past life?" asks Michael.

"Well, maybe we could go to a psycologist and do past life regression." suggest Alex.

"Alex, what exactly do you think they would say if we went to them and told them in our past life we lived on another planet and we want to know what happened to us?" asks Michael.

"Hey do you have any other thoughts?" asks Alex

"Wait your both right. We could try past life regretion. I can read about it and maybe i could learn how. You know we learn things really fast. Then we could try it on Liz if she is willing." says Max.

"That's a great idea Max, maybe I can find something on the net. I will check it out. Then I will let you know tomorrow what I find." says Alex.

"In the mean time I will talk to Liz." says Max.

"Before you leave Max, does Liz know I'm an alien as well?" asks Alex.

"No, I just told her about Me and Michael. Why?" asks Max.

"Oh, Well, it's just that I haven't exactly told Isabel yet." says Alex.

"Okay, well I think you better do it soon cause eventually she will find out." says Michael.

"Hey girls before we go any further I think I shouild tell you something." says Isabel.

"What's up chica?" asks Maria.

"I have to tell you guys something and I want you to understand I didn't tell you because I had to be sure you two weren't bad guys first." she says.

"What do you mean bad guys?" asks Liz.

"Let me tell you the whole story before you asks questions okay please. It is important that you understand what I tell you so that you guys don't hate me okay?" she asks with pleas in her eyes.

"You know we are here for you." says Liz and Maria nods in agreement.

"Well, Before I came here I wasn't sure of who I was or where I was from because I had been in an accident and I lost my memory. Then there was this guy I met and he claimed to know who I was. He said my name was Vilandra. He said I was his sister. I believed him for awhile and I even became good friends with him. Then one day I started getting my memory back." she tell them almost in a nastalgic kind of way. Like reliving a dream.

"So, what happened then?" asked Liz.

"Well, he told me something and I wasn't sure I believed him until he showed it to me. He said he was an alien. I didn't believe him. I thought it was some kind of sick joke or something, but then he raised his hand and I saw a blue glow come out of it." she looks at them and she is so nervous. Still she knows she has to finish. So she hands them a picture of her and Rath. "I want you to know that I wanted to tell you this a long time ago, but I wasn't sure about it. I spent time with him learning new things. I am not sure how to tell you this. I am an alien too, I know you probably don't believe me but I just want to show you something." she says as she gets up and walks over to Liz's side and places her hand on her shirt turning it from blue to pink.

"OH MY GOD!!!" Maria says. "Do you see who that could be."

As Isabel stands there looking at Liz she starts to get tears in her eyes.

"Oh, Izzy it's okay. Come here." Liz says as she pulls her into a tight hug.

"That's not all of it." says Isabel. "The guy that I met he looked a lot like Michael, but his name was Rath."

She looks at Maria this time and sees Maria's mouth wide open.

"Look maybe I shouldn't be saying anything, but I'm pretty sure my secret is safe with you guys because I know you are aliens too." says Isabel. "I just hope you guys will still be my best friends."

"Wait a minute. Your telling me that you met someone that looks like Michael only it wasn't Michael his name was Rath and Your are telling me that he is your brother. Does that mean that you and Michael are brother and sister?" she asks.

"Yea, that's pretty much it, and as for us being related I doubt it unless he is an alien as well." says Isabel.

Maria and Liz just look at each other then.

"Oh my god he is isn't he?" Isabel asks.

"Yea, you see we didn't know you were an alien and as far as we knew you didn't know we were, so we didn't tell you, but since you know I guess it doesn't hurt to tell you that Max is one too." says Liz.

It is Isabel's turn to stand there with her eyes wide and mouth wide open.

Chapter 9

"Alex, baby, I think we need to talk. We should have had this talk before we moved in together."says Isabel.

"Yea, I kinda have to tell you something important too."he replies.

"Can I go first?" she asks.

"Sure, princess, what is it?"he asks.

"Well, you know how we have this thing between us that draws us to each other? Well, I think I know what it is. I have to tell you a little about my past before I tell you about that though." she looks at alex and waits till he says something so she can continue.

"Go ahead sweety you know you can tell me anything." he says "You know I'm here for you."

She lets out the breath she was holding. Then she continues with her story.

"I'm just gonna go ahead and tell you everything. I was in an accident awhile back. I had amnesia and couldn'
t remember who I was. That is until I met a guy named Rath." she sees Alex's face fall like he thinks she is going to tell him that she is still with him or something. "He said he was my brother. I later found out that that wasn't true, but I also found out some other stuff as well. I found out something that If I tell you and you go to the athorities I will be forever damaged. You have to promise not to tell anyone and I will understand if you want me to move out after you hear what I have to say." she says

"Princess, I already told you that I was here for you and what could you possibly say to me that would make me want to turn you in to the police?" he asks.

"I'm an alien." she says so quietly the he almost doesn't hear her.

"Izzy, did you say you were an alien?" Alex asks.

"Yes, and I will leave as soon as I can get a bag and then I'll"she is saying when Alex gets up and makes his hand light up a light blue color. "Oh my god! Alex, why didn't you tell me?"

She jumps up then and runs and throws her arms around his neck and kisses him senseless.

They break apart laughing. "We obviously have alot to talk about."he says. They sit down and talk late into the evening.

Liz and Max are having dinner at Senor Chows when Max decides that he should tell Liz about the conversation that he and Michael had with Alex earlier.

"Liz, baby I have something to tell you." says Max.

"Okay honey what is it?"asks Liz.

"Well, you know how me and the guys got together earlier? Well, we were talking about you and I and I kinda told them about us and the bonding the other night." he looks at Liz hoping to see something other than anger in those deep brown eyes that he has grown to read and love.

"Oh, well, what did you tell them exactly?" she asks feeling a little like some kind of trophy or another notch in the belt of some jock.

"Just that we bonded. I promise I didn't give any details. I just thought that they should know that you and I bonded and that we had flashes from the past." he says trying to make up for the pain that he thinks she might be feeling.

"Baby, you know I love you and I don't want to hurt you and I wouldn't do anything to purposely cause you pain." says Max. "I just felt that I owed them the truth since I was the king of their planet. Anyway, Alex made a suggestion that I wanted to talk to you about. He suggested that we try past life regression to see if we can learn something about our past. We would like to know if you would be willing to give it a try?" he asks.

She looks at him with questions in her eyes not sure what exactly he is talking about. "Max, what do you mean? We can't exactly go to a psyciatrist. How do you suggest we try this?" she asks.

"Well, you know how we can learn things relatively fast? Well, Alex has agreed to learn how to do it and we thought it would be best to try it on you so that if anything happens I can be there to bring you out of it and maybe heal you or mindwarp you if I have to." he says.

"I don't know about this Max, do you really think this is possible?" she asks.

"Yea, but I want to be sure how to do it first. I don't want to hurt you or take a chance of something happening to you because you are the best thing that has ever happened to me." Max says as he smiles at her trying to send the love he is feeling in his heart to her through their new connection.

"Okay, I will give it a try on two conditions. First, I want Izzy and Maria to be there since they have a right to hear this too. Second, the minute it starts to upset me really bad you have to pull me out of it since we don't know what will happen. Is that okay with you?" she informs him.

"Absolutely, and thank you for doing this for us baby. Have I told you how much I love you?" he asks as he grabs her hands with his and leans toward her for a kiss. "Now, that this is taken care of would you like to dance?" He asks still holding her hand as he gets up and leads her to the dance floor where he pulls her close and starts swaying to the music.

"Mr. Evans I think you should show me just how much you love me and take me home so we can love each other all night."she says in her most seductive voice.

"As you wish my love."he says as he makes his way to the table so he can pay the check and take her to his apartment and make love to the angel in front of him.

Outside the restaurant Tess is looking through the window and sees Liz and Max talking at the table. She notices them leave and decides to confront them when she see Max wrap his arm around Liz to walk with her.

"This is bullshit, why is that littlwe miss goody twoshoes with my man?" Tess asks noone in perticular. "I hope that bitch doesn't think she can get away with this." she says as she follows them trying not to be seen.

"I will get this bitch if it is the last thing I do." Tess says to herself.

She continues to follow them as they walk down the street towards the apartment. Max has his arm around Liz's waist and is holding her tightly. He feels like someone is watching them and he tells Liz's through their connection "Baby, I think we are being watched and I'm not sure who it is so just follow my lead." he says.

"What do you want to do?" she asks back through the connection.

"I think we might ought to try and catch who ever it is at their little act. We'll loose them and double back and try to catch them at their act." he says.

"Ok, just be careful baby. I love you." she tells him.

"Don't worry baby, I will and I love you too." he says.

They pick up the pace as they are walking and head straight towards a crowd that is walking to them. They split sides and they both turn around and follow the crowd unbeknownst their follower. Just as they get past their little tag a long they stop and Max grabs Tess from behind and drags her into an alley where Liz follows close behind.

"What the hell do you think you are doing?" Max asks her then he turns her around so that he can look her in the eyes.

"I'm just going for a walk, Max why?" she asks trying not to seem like she is innocent, but Max isn't as stupid as she thinks he is.

"Don't lie you fucking bitch, I told you once already to leave Max and I alone. Are you trying to piss me off?"asks Liz.

"No, I promise I was just going for a walk." she says again.

"I'm only going to tell you one more time and then I promise you I will blast your ass all the way back to Antar if I catch you anywhere near us again. Leave us alone and Don't Even Think about trying to talk to Max you stupid bitch. You are only going to make your life miserable if you do." That is all Liz has to say and Tess hangs her head in shame. Just for good measure Liz slaps Tess so hard that she leaves a bright red hand print on her face.

Max tells Tess "I don't want you to come around us again, and I mean it."

With that said they both turn and walk off holding onto each other like there is no tomorrow.

I know that you are probably a little disappointed that I didn't get it updated before x-mas, but rl has been very busy with little time for anything fun. I also have strep throat so I guess since I am supposed to be taking it easy now is as good a time as any to update. Chapter 10

The gang is gathered around Alex's living room talking about this and that when Max stands up and confronts the room.

"Okay, everyone I just want to say that I think we should all talk about what is going on with us." he says as he is looking around the room at everyone.

"As you all know, I have been having flashes. I can't really explain them, but I do know that Tess is an alien as well and I believe that she is behind something terrible." says Liz after standing up next to Max.

It's Alex's turn to speak now. "We thought of a plan to come up with some more info about our past, but everyone expecially Liz has to be willing." He looks at Liz and then around the room as they each one nod their willingness to proceed.

"We decided to try something called memory regression. It is where you hypnotize someone and then you make them remember their past and sometimes you can even get them to remember a past life. Since we obviously can't go to a shrink to get this done I have taken it apon myself to learn how to do it, but I would also like to have someone else there to help me in case something goes wrong. So, I have asked Isabel to learn it with me." says Alex.

"We have tried it on each other, but only for short intervals. I did not want to take the chance of something happening to either her or me." he says.

They all shake their heads in agreement.

"So, what do we do now?" asks Michael. "I mean where do we go from here?" he asks.

"Well, If Liz is up to it I think we should try to get Liz to remember a Little piece of her past and see if it is real or not." says Maria.

"That actually sounds like a good idea. Maria since you and Liz have been friends so long pick a day that is not quite as memorable to Liz that is to you and think of that day. Then pick something to ask about that day that only you and her will remember." says Alex.

"Okay, let's go back to the day that I fell off my bike and broke my wrist." she says.

"Okay, Liz are you ready to try this." Alex asks Liz.

"Yea, I think this will be kinda neat." Liz replies.

"Will, this hurt her in anyway?" asks Maria.

"No, there is no known side affects except the memories coming out." replies Alex.

"I have read up on this and trust me if I thought that it would harm her or do anything to her in anyway then I would not let Liz go through with this." says Max as he is looking at Maria. "I couldn't live with myself if something were to happen to her." he finishes.

"Well, glad to know that Maxwell."says Michael in his usual Michael the smart ass style. Which then earns his a smack on the back of the head from Maria.

"Ouch, What was that for?" asks Michael, which earns him an evil glare from Maria and Isabel.

"Uh-hum, Shall we get started?" asks Alex trying to change the subject and get things to settle down in the room so he can begin.

"Ok, Liz why don't you sit in the recliner there and lean back against the back of it and relax."Alex begins as the room gets deathly quiet. "As you start to relax I want you to listen to the sound of the clock ticking on the wall. You will notice with every click of the second hand that you start to relax, and you get sleepier and sleepier." He is talking in such a soothing voice, that Liz starts to do what he says.

Liz notices herself getting sleepier with each passing second. Her eyelids are getting heavy and her breathing is starting to even out. Her breath is becoming shallower with every tick. Yet she is completely aware of everything Alex is saying to her.

"Okay, Liz as you are getting sleepy I want you to think back in time to the day when Maria fell off her bike and broke her wrist. As you are thinking back you will notice that the ticking of the clock seems to get quieter and quieter until you can not hear it anymore." As he says this Liz hears the ticking getting quiet so quiet she can't hear it anymore but instead of this making her nervous or scared she is really calm and relaxed.

"Liz on this day Maria had told you something in private at the hospital when he mom went out to talk to the doctor. Do you remember what it was?" Alex says as he is reading a piece of paper that Maria handed to him.

"I remember that she told me she thought that this guy named Kyle was cute. Oh and that was the first time that she told me that she wanted to be a singer one day." Liz says in a dreamy voice.

"Okay, Liz that is good okay now I want you to start coming forward in time slowly to today. As you are coming forward in time today I want you to start listening for the clock again. You will hear it faintly at first and then it will get louder and louder until it is back to normal. As you hear the clock you will slowly start to awaken and when you awaken you will remember everything that we discussed tonight. Okay Liz are you awake?" Alex asks.

"Wow, did that just really happen. I haven't thought about that in years." Says Liz.

She turns to look at Maria who looks as though she is slightly embaressed and then she remembers saying what Maria said about Kyle. "Sorry, Maria, how was I supossed to know what you wanted me to say?" says Liz shyly.

"It's cool that was a long time ago." Shrugs Maria.

"Maria does this Kyle have a last name?" asks Isabel. All heads turn in the room to Maria then and she immediately turns a bright red then.

"Yes, of course, but now is not the time or the place." says Maria.

"Why blonde do you have something to hide?" asks Michael earning himself a smack in the arm from Liz.

"You had better be nice to my friend Spaceboy." Says Liz which causes everyone to laugh including Michael.

After everyone calmed down from this they decided that they didn't want to push it too much for one night and they would pick up again that weekend. Soon after they all went out for drinks at a bar that they were sure Tess wouldn't go to.
