another poem a bit more happier that the last.
MY WALK
I’m walking down a winding road,
The streets are empty,
The air is cold!
I see one man walk his dog,
A couple of cars driving pass.
The wind blows against my face.
Not a sunlight, not a trace!
1
The darkness of the night
Is caving through
The churchyard I’m passing,
Seem gloomy too…
A strand of hair,
Falls in my eye
But still I see a child cry.
It’s getting dark,
It’s getting late.
The air is misty,
It’s getting strange.
The leaves are crumpled
On the floor, they don’t
Seem to be loved no more.
2
I hear a laugh from a group,
The strangest thought
I have is of a time loop…
3
The clock of the town hall,
Is high above,
That is why I can’t hear its tock.
4
The lamps are burning bright
Seems to me like a firefly!
I start to cross the road.
A car full of music- on a load.
5
The beeping of the traffic lights,
The Cars begin to stop.
I turn my head, the other way.
I think it’s time; I’ll play it straight!
I continue my journey,
Down the small little road.
I look above me,
The sky seems old.
I turn back for last glance,
It’s dark now,
No birds that sing and dance.
