Well, here it is....the end of the road for this little fic. I wish it could have gone on forever. Actually, for only being 11 parts and taking 4 years, it feels like it did. So many people need to be thanked..... Krista, Maya, Egyptian_Kiss, and pijeechinadoll. Without them, this would have been dead in the water. So thanks so much, guys....I luv ya!!!!!!!!!!
For all your wonderful feedback, thanks. I was so happy that people liked this story. I enjoyed the fun aspect of Roswell and tried to put that into this fic. No doom and gloom here. So if you came and read this and smiled, then we did good. So thanks for reading and thank you for letting me know that you liked it. You did my ego a world of good!

Next day.....
“…quick look at the traffic today. An accident on State Road 285 South at Exit 64 has traffic backed up all the way to the 71 Interchange. No injuries have been reported. More as this story develops.” Alex groaned and reached over to shut off the alarm. Throwing back the covers, he slowly got up from bed and made his way to the bathroom. Yawning, he made his way to the door and he glanced up in the mirror and let out an unbelieving gasp. His own reflection was staring back at him. He looked down to see his favorite sleepwear, worn sweats and a tee shirt with ‘The Clash’ printed across the front. Not quite believing that he was back to normal, he quickly stepped back and looked around. Guitar in the corner? Check. Band posters on the wall? Check. Navy and black plaid comforter? Check. Nothing pink or fluffy in the room? Check. It was true. Letting out the breath he had been holding, Alex couldn’t help but allow himself to fall back into bed. Pumping his fist in the air, he allowed himself a moment to revel at being back in his own body.
Then his mind took off. How, exactly DID he get back into his body? When they left the Pizza Pan the night before, they were no closer to finding a solution than they had been for the past three days. Did the effects just wear off? Was Max or one of the others able to figure something out after he had left? Needing some sort of answer he quickly grabbed the phone and dialed the first person that popped into his head. Isabel.
She picked it up after three rings.
“H’lo?” Her voice was raspy and obviously a little disgruntled at having been woken from her sleep to answer the phone.
“Isabel! It’s me.” Alex almost yelled into the phone.
“Tess, why the heck are you calling this early? I may be Kyle for the time being, but we both need our beauty sleep.” Isabel stifled back a yawn.
“No, Isabel, it’s me. It’s Alex. I’m back”
“What?” Isabel’s eyes popped open when she heard the statement and she sat straight up in her bed. Yes, her bed. She swung her head back and forth looking around her bedroom. Dropping the phone onto the bed, she ran to the dresser to look into the mirror above it.
“Oh my God, I can’t believe it.” Isabel reached up a hand and brought it to her face. Not only did her image mimic the movement but she felt no more stubble along her cheek.
Remembering Alex on the phone, she ran back to the bed and grabbed up the phone.
“Alex? I’m back too. What happened? Is everyone else back to normal?” Isabel couldn’t keep the smile off her face and she could almost hear a smile in Alex’s voice as well.
“I don’t know, Iz. You’re the first one I called. Why don’t you knock on Max’s door and see who you get. I’ll hang on again.”
“Great idea, I’ll be back in a minute.” Isabel once again dropped the phone onto the bed and literally ran out of her room and down the hallway to Max’s room. Not bothering to knock, she threw open the door, quickly crossed the room to the bed and gave his shoulder a hard shake.
“Max? Maria? Whoever you are, get up!” She reached out her hand and shook Max’s shoulder again until he started to stir.
“Isabel? What are you doing?” Max asked groggily. Then quickly realizing where he was he sat up in bed. Looking up, he squinted at her. “Isabel? Is that you?”
“YES! We’re back to normal. Well, at least some of us are. Alex called me and he’s back too. So, I’m assuming Maria, Tess, and Kyle are back as well.”
“What about Liz and Michael?”
“I don’t know, but I don’t see why they’d still be the same. Call Liz, and as soon as I get off the phone with Alex, I’ll ring Michael.” Isabel picked up Max’s cell phone off the desk and tossed it to him on her way out, practically skipping her way back to her room.
Max grabbed the phone and flipping it open, quickly dialed Liz’s home number. As he waited for an answer he said a silent prayer that it would indeed be Liz on the other end and not Michael.
“Hello?” Liz’s sleepy voice answered.
“Liz, it’s Max. I think it’s over. Are you you?” Max held his breath waiting for her answer. A small squeal of excitement was the only answer he needed.
"If you can call Maria, Isabel is going to ring Michael and I'll call Tess and Kyle. Let's get down to the UFO Museum."
-------------------------------------
It took an hour for everyone to gather in the UFO center, but when they did they were all beaming with delight. It seemed that the effects had worn off and no one could truly explain why.
“Max,” Liz said softly, coming over to join him and Isabel as she entered. They celebrated with a short kiss, and smiled happily while the others chattered on.
“I’ve never been so glad to see you, Parker,” Michael said gruffly as he plopped down beside a yammering Maria.
“Yeah,” Liz agreed.
It seemed as though all arguments and grudges were forgotten.
“Michael, are you listening? I said that I was re-reading that flyer before we got here and it says they’re doing the karaoke again tonight- I’ve got a chance at that 150 bucks!” Maria exclaimed excitedly.
“I’m not going back there until Tess does her thing.” Kyle shouted over the din. Then for no apparent reason he dropped to the floor and started doing push-ups and the entire time kept repeating “thank Buddha”.
“But how did we get back into our bodies?” Tess asked, perched on the edge of a chair.
“Yeah, who do we thank for this miracle?” Alex questioned, holding Isabel around the waist.
“I don’t have split ends!” Isabel suddenly said, examining her hair. She turned the full force of her glare on a push up-ing Kyle.
“49...50...51,” Kyle seemed to caught up in his push-ups to notice.
“Max?” Brody called, coming out from his office surprising them all. No one had noticed that he was there.
“Brody, hi.” Max greeted, shifting uncomfortably.
“Max, did you do anything to that box I showed you the other night?” Brody asked, ignoring the others.
“Uh. No, I just put it away like you asked. Why?”
“Because I saw that this small switch on the side that was flipped up, and it hadn’t been before I gave it to you,” Brody said, showing Max the box and the spot where he had flipped the switch back to its original position. Max tried to remember ever seeing a switch on the box. But, apparently he hadn’t seen it and he, Tess, Michael, and Isabel had blasted at it. The switch must have turned on when the box fell to the ground.
“Yeah, sorry.” Max replied, feeling the others start to stare at him.
“ ‘S’alright. I guess it’s nothing special after all. Damn waste of money, I guess, another fake.” Brody announced, walking away while shaking his head.
"Brody?" Max called after him. "If it's a fake, what are you going to do with it now?"
Brody stopped and turned back to the group of teens.
"I'm not sure. Luckily, it wasn't too expensive, but since it isn't authentic, I'm not sure I wnat to display it in my museum." Brody looked back down at the box, still in his hands.
Liz had an idea and spoke up. "Mr. Davis, if you'd be interested, I'm sure my dad would love to have it for the Crashdown. Would you be willing to sell it to us?" Liz was silently hoping Brody would agree so that the box would be permanently in their posession.
"Here, Miss Parker, you can take it now if you'd like. It was only $40. How about just exchanging some meals until it's paid for?" Brody handed her the box, and the teens all breathed a sigh of relief as he then went back to his office.
Once the door closed, Michael turned on Max.
“A switch? A switch?” Michael exclaimed incredulously. “We got body swapped by a friggin' switch? YOU!!!!” He pointed at Max and took off at a run straight towards Max who ran for the safety of the stairs and the outside.
“200!” Kyle cried, while everyone else sat in a stunned silence, and any remaining arguments were forgotten as life was returned to normal.
