Summery: Liz and Maria move into a new place. While they are moving in they meet their new neighbours Max Evans and Michael Guerin. Maria and Michael get along and flirt with each other a little. Whilst Max and Liz don't get along, they also argue a lot. What Liz and Maria don't know is that Max and Michael work for a mob boss named Tony the shark. Max and Michael try to hide what they do for a living from Liz, Maria, family and friends. What happens when there is danger all around Max and Michael? And what will happen when Max and Michael's boss bumps into Liz and ask her out? Will Liz go or not? And what will happen when Liz sees Michael and Max with her date? Will Liz stay and find out what is going on or will she leave?

Prologue
Liz, Michael and Maria walked into the house. All three of them looked at each other.

"Liz what is going on?" Michael asked.

"Michael stay here you need to see something," Liz said before walking out of the kitchen.

Michael and Maria watched as Liz walked out of the kitchen. Michael and Maria turned and looked at each other smiling.

A few minutes later Liz walks in the kitchen with box in her hand. Liz set the box in the kitchen counter and looked Michael. Liz opened the box and handed Michael a file.

"What is this?" Michael asked.

"Michael this file and the files in the box are on you, Max, Me and Maria," Liz said.

"What are you talking about?" Michael asked.

"Michael these files have everything on all of us. They have our whole lives in these files," Liz said.

"Oh boy," Michael said.

"What are we going to do?" Maria said as she looked between Michael and Liz.

Right at that moment Max walked in the house and stood in the kitchen doorway.

"I say we burn them," Max said.

Liz, Michael and Maria all turned and saw Max standing in the doorway looking at them.

"Wait you’re supposed to be dead," Maria said.

"Um, yeah you’re dead," Liz said.

"Um surprise," Max said.

Liz looked at Max. Liz was getting mad that Max was suppose to be dead not standing in the kitchen with them. Liz walked up to Max, when they were face to face.

"You faked your death didn't you?" Liz asked.

"Um yes I did," Max said.

Liz punched Max in to stomach. Max leaned over breathing hard. Max looked up and looked at Liz.

"Do you know what you put me through? Do you?" Liz asked as she punched Max in the stomach again.

"No" Max said as he held his stomach

"Well guess what this did to me. You had me crying thinking your dead. Michael and Tony told me you were dead. I ran up to my room crying for 4 days. I hardly ate and slept since I was told you were dead. And now I find out your alive," Liz said as he pushed Max backwards.

Max kept going backwards till his back hit the wall. Liz stood in front of him ready to hit him again.

"Liz I'm sorry," Max said putting his hands up.

Liz punched Max in the face and ran up stairs to her bedroom and slammed the door shut. Maria and Michael see Max on the floor and hear a door slam. Michael and Maria look at each other then look at Max.

"This is going to be fun time," Maria said.

"Maria will you help me get Max to the couch," Michael asked.

Michael and Maria walk up to Max and pick him up by his arms and drag him to the couch. When they get to the couch they lay Max down and take a step back and wait till Max to come round.

Chapter 1
Liz and Maria were putting Liz's things in Maria's car when Mr. Parker drove up to the house. Mr. Parker got out of the car and walked up to Maria and Liz. Maria and Liz turned and saw Liz's father looking at them.

"What is going on here?" Mr. Parker asked.

"I'm moving out dad," Liz said.

"Why are you moving out?" Mr. Parker asked.

"You really want to know why dad?" Liz asked.

"Yes, I really want to know why. Now tell me what is going on," Mr. Parker said.

"Dad you’re never home! We don't talk to each other anymore. We never see each other anymore. You’re never around when I need you. So I decided to move out. I'm going to move into a house with Maria," Liz said.

"Where will you live?" Mr. Parker asked.

"Dad sorry I can't tell you that," Liz said.

"Mr. P it's time for Liz to be free. And to grow up on her own," Maria said.

"I know that but I don't know if I am ready to let her go yet," Mr. Parker said.

"Dad I'm still your daughter. But I'm leaving there is nothing you can do about it. So please just let me leave?" Liz asked.

"Fine! If you need me you know I'll be here or you," Mr. Parker said.

"I know that dad," Liz said.

Maria and Liz finish packing Liz's things. When they were finished Maria gets into her car as Liz looks at her father. Liz gets into the car and shut the door. Maria drove out of the drive way and down the road. Liz looked back and saw no one was following them. Liz turned and looked at the road in front of them. Liz was glad she was out of her father’s house.

A few minutes later Maria stopped at a house with a rent to own sign in the yard. Liz looked at the house then looked at Maria.

"Maria what is going on?" Liz asked.

"This is the place we will be staying," Maria said.

"Here for how long?" Liz asked.

"As long as we want to, what do you think?" Maria asked.

"I think you’re crazy. But I like it," Liz said.

"Come on let's check it out before the moving van gets here," Maria said before getting out of the car.

Liz and Maria got out of the car and walked to the door. Maria reaches into her pocket and pulls out the keys to the house. Maria unlocks the door and they both walked in. Maria and Liz looked around. They saw that they had a walk in kitchen. The kitchen was big and nice. It had a huge fridge and a stove/oven. They walked into the living room and saw the living room was big with a lot of room. Liz and Maria walked up the stairs and saw the hallway and 4 rooms. They walked down the hallways to the rooms. Liz and Maria looked into the rooms and saw they were big and roomy. They both liked they way the rooms looked.

Liz and Maria walked up the hallway and down the stairs. They turned and went through the kitchen to look at the backyard. When they got to the back yard they saw it was huge with an in ground pool with a diving board. Liz and Maria walked inside the house and went through the kitchen and living room to the front door. Liz and Maria walked out of the house and saw the moving truck in front of the house. Liz and Maria walked up to the moving truck. A guy got out of the moving truck and walked up to Liz and Maria. The guy turns and opens the back of the moving truck then turns and looks at Liz and Maria. After the truck was opened all 3 of them grabbed a box and walked toward the house. When they got back to the moving they saw 2 guys walking towards them. When the guys stood in front of Liz and Maria, they all looked at each other.

"Hi my name is Michael and this is Max," Michael said.

"Hi my name is Maria and this is Liz," Maria said.

"Hi. Do you need any help moving in?" Michael asked.

"Yes, that will be very nice of the both of you," Maria said.

"It's no problem," Michael said.

Michael and Max walked up to the truck and grabbed a box and walked towards the house. Liz and Maria grabbed a box and walked towards the house. When they got to the door Max and Michael took the boxes from the girls. As Michael took the box from Maria he touched her hand and smiled. Liz and Max turned and saw Maria and Michael flirting with each other. Max and Liz rolled their eyes and turned away. Then Max and Liz both turned and looked at each other.

"Here let me take that for you," Max said.

"Fine, here take this," Liz said as she handed him the box.

Liz walked away from Max and walked up to the truck. Liz reached in the truck and grabbed a box. When Liz turned she saw Max standing in front of her. Max and Liz looked at each other.

"What?" Liz asked.

"What is wrong with you?" Max asked.

"It is none of your business what is wrong with me. So will you just leave me alone?" Liz asked.

"Fine! No more questions lets move your things into your new house," Max said.

"Fine," Liz said as she handed a box to Max.

Max turned and walked towards the house. Max walked into the house and set the box down. He turned and saw Michael walking towards him. Max saw Michael had a smile on his face.

"What are you smiling about?" Max asked.

"Oh nothing," Michael said.

"Oh great! Your falling for that Maria girl while I'm helping the other girl move in," Max said.

"What? You don't like the other girl," Michael asked.

"No I really don't," Max said.

"What don't you like about her?" Michael asked.

"She has an attitude problem and she is kinda mean," Max said.

"Max just be nice to her. Try and get along with her ok," Michael said.

"Fine! But if she says one thing mean then I'm outta here," Max said.

"Ok, just try and be nice to her. I found out from Maria that Liz and her father had a fight. That is why she is in a bad mood," Michael said.

"Fine! But if anything goes wrong I'm leaving," Max said.

"Thanks. We better finish helping the girls move in," Michael said.

"Yeah we better," Max said as he and Michael walked out to the moving truck.

Meanwhile Liz and Maria walked out of the house and walked towards the truck. When Liz and Maria got to the truck they saw Max and Michael standing in front of them. All four of them looked at each other.

"Here you girls take these and we'll grab another box," Michael said.

"Thank you Michael," Maria said.

"Yeah, Thanks," Liz said before walking away.

"Oh boy," Max said when he turned and looked at Michael and Maria.

When Max turned and looked at Michael and Maria staring at each other. Max turned and walked towards the house. When he got to the house he saw Liz standing in the doorway.

"You need to watch out Maria and Michael are staring at each other again," Max said.

"Here let me take this and you handle them," Liz said as she took the box from Max.

"Gee thanks," Max said.

"No problem," Liz said before walking into the house.

Max watched Liz walk into the house. He turned and walked back to the moving truck. Max grabbed a box. When he turned he saw Michael and Maria holding hands. Max turned and bumped into Liz. They both looked at each other.

"Watch where you’re going," Liz said.

"Sorry I didn't see you," Max said.

"Whatever!" Liz said as she grabbed a box and walked away.

"Max looked at Liz then he walked towards the house. Max didn't know what was going on with Liz. But he knew she was mad.

A few hours later everything was in the house and in the rooms they needed to be in. After everything was done Liz and Maria turned and looked at Max and Michael.

"Thanks for helping us move in," Maria said.

"No problem," Michael said.

"Do you guys want to come over tomorrow night for movie night?" Maria asked.

"Yeah, that sounds like it will be fun," Michael said.

"Ok. Tomorrow night at 8pm. We all can get together and watch some movies," Maria said.

"Yeah, that should be fun," Liz said before turning away and walking into the house.

Maria turned and looked at Liz then turned and looked at Max and Michael. Max and Michael looked at Maria.

Sorry about that. I guess Liz is tired from moving and unloading the moving truck," Maria said.

"That is understandable," Michael said.

"You both must be tired. I guess I'll talk to you later," Maria said.

"Yeah, well talk to you later then," Max said before he and Michael walked away.

After Maria saw Max and Michael were across the street. She turned and walked into the house. When she got into the house she saw Liz was moving things and unpacking things. Maria walked up to Liz and started to help her. After one room was finished they started to work on the next room. It took them eight hours to get all the rooms unpacked and furniture all moved around. After everything was finished they sat down and looked around.

"Wow I can't believe we got everything unpacked and furniture all moved around. It looks great," Liz said.

"Yeah, I can't believe it either," Maria said.

"What are you thinking now?" Liz asked.

"Nothing. I glad we got nice neighbours though," Maria said.

"Yeah that is true," Liz said.

"Ok. Liz what is wrong?" Maria asked.

"You know me too well," Liz said.

"So tell me what is wrong?" Maria asked.

"I'm just thinking that I'm on my own and away from my father. I just want to have fun now," Liz said.

"Oh, trust me we will have fun here," Maria said.

"Yeah I know," Liz said.

"We better get to sleep if we want to have fun tomorrow night," Maria said.

"Yeah, we better," Liz said.

Liz and Maria got up and walked up the steps to their rooms. When they got to the top of the steps Liz and Maria turned right. Maria's room was the first door while Liz's room was 2 doors down from Maria's room. After they got into their rooms they shut the door and changed clothes and went to bed.

Chapter 2A
In the morning Liz and Maria woke up and went to their bedrooms door and opened it. They walked down the hallway to the stairs. They walked down the stairs and walked into the kitchen. Liz made the coffee while Maria grabbed 2 coffee cups. When the coffee was made Liz turned and poured the coffee into the cups. After Liz poured the coffee she turned and put it on the burner. Liz turned and looked at Maria. Maria turned and looked at Liz.

"Liz do you want to come shopping with me? We need to get something for movie night and for the house," Maria said.

"Yeah sure why not. I need to get a couple of things while we re out," Liz said.

"Ok. Say we meet down here in 30 minutes," Maria said.

"That sounds good to me. I'm going to go take a shower," Liz said.

"Ok. See you in a few minutes," Maria said.

Liz stood up and walked out of the kitchen and walked up the stairs and went to her room. Liz walked in her room and grabbed what she needed. Then Liz walked out of her room and walked to the bathroom. Liz walked into the bathroom and shut the door. Liz walked up to the shower and turned on the water. Liz stepped back and took off her pyjamas. Liz walked
towards the shower and walked in and let the water hit her body. A few minutes later Liz walked out of the shower and started to get dressed. Liz walked out of the bathroom wearing a pair of hi hugger jeans and a white short sleeve t-shirt. Liz walked down the stairs and saw Maria dressed in jeans and a black tank top. Maria turned and saw Liz standing in front of her.

"Are you ready to go?" Maria asked.

"Yeah, do you know everything we need?" Liz asked.

Yeah, I made a list of everything we need. Hopefully we can get everything we need before 6pm," Maria said.

"Why before 6pm?" Liz asked.

"So we can set everything up for tonight," Maria said.

"Fine whatever," Liz said.

Liz and Maria walked out of the house and walked to Maria's car. When they got to Maria's car they got in and drove off. It took then 30 minutes to get to the store. When they got to the store they got out of the car and walked to the store. When they walked into the store Maria turned and gave Liz half the list. Maria grabbed her half and walked off. Liz end or the list had chips, popcorn, Pepsi and milk. While Maria went to get the other stuff they needed. Three hours later they walked out of they story with a cart full of food, drinks and other things. Liz and Maria walked to the car and put all the bags in the car. Liz and Maria got in the car and drove off.

When they got home they took the bags out of the car and took them in the house. When they walked into the house they went into the kitchen and started the food and things up. A few minutes later Maria went to her room while Liz sat down on the couch and watched TV. Liz flipped through the channel till he saw a movie called When Harry Met Sally was on. Liz sat back and watched TV.

Meanwhile upstairs,
Maria was in the shower getting. After Maria had her shower she got dressed and fixed her hair. Maria walked out of the bathroom and walked down stairs. When Maria got down stairs she saw Liz watching TV. Maria walked into the kitchen and grabbed a bag of chips, popcorn and 4 cans of Pepsi's. Maria walked out of the kitchen and walked into the living room and set the food and drinks on the table. Maria turned and looked at Liz. Liz looked up and looked at Maria.

"What?" Liz asked.

"Is that what you’re wearing tonight?" Maria asked.

"No. I'm going to change later," Liz said.

"Liz what is your problem?" Maria asked.

"Maria we just moved here and you’re being all crazy over a guy you just meet," Liz said.

"So!" Maria said.

"So? Maria you don't know anything about him. I think you should get to know him before you go crazy about a guy," Liz said.

"Is that what you really think?" Maria asked.

"Yes that is what I really think. I don't want you to get hurt. You’re like a sister to me," Liz said.

"Liz thanks for worrying about me," Maria said.

"Hey no problem," Liz said.

"Liz will you please try and be nice to Max and Michael?" Maria asked.

"Fine, I'll be nice. But if Max makes a remark I don't like. I'll hurt him," Liz said.

"Don't worry Liz Max will try and be nice too," Maria said.

"Fine! I better go change into something else before they get here," Liz said.

Liz stood up and walked up the stairs to her room. Liz walked into her room and shut the door. She walked up to her dresser and opened the drawer. She grabbed a pair hip hugger stretch pants and a white long sleeve t-shirt. After Liz got dressed she opened the door and walked down the stairs. Liz walked into the living room and sat down. Liz watched her movie while she was waiting for movie night to start. Liz turned and saw Maria walking back into the living room.

"Maria what are you doing?" Liz asked.

"I'm putting a candle that smells like Vanilla in here," Maria said.

"But why?" Liz asked.

"Because I want everything to smell nice tonight," Maria said.

"Everything will smell great. So don't worry," Liz said.

"I know. But you never know," Maria said.

"When re they going to be here?" Liz said.

"They will be here in 10 minutes," Maria said.

"Ok. That is good! Don't worry," Liz said.

"Ok. All we have to do is make sure everything is set," Maria said.

"Maria. Everything is already set up. Now all we have to do is wait or them," Liz said.

"Yeah you’re right," Maria said as she sat down next to Liz.

A few minutes later there was a knock on the door. Liz stood up and walked to the front door. Liz opened the door and there stood Michael and Max. Michael and Max looked at Liz.

"Can we come in?" Michael asked.

"Yes you can come in," Liz said.

Liz stepped back and let Max and Michael walk into the house. Liz, Max and Michael all walked into the living room where Maria was waiting. Liz walked up to Maria. Maria looked at Liz.

"Michael and Max are here," Liz said before sitting down.

Liz and Maria turned and looked at Max and Michael. Michael and Max looked at Liz and Maria.

Chapter 2B
"Why don't you guys sit down and we can start movie night," Maria said.

"Yeah, sure," Michael said as he and Max sat down and looked at the girls.

"Michael you want to come with me and pick some movies?" Maria asked.

"Yeah, sure sounds good to me," Michael said as he stood up.

Michael and Maria walked out of the living room and walked into the next room. Michael and Maria walked up to the shelves to pick some movies.

Meanwhile in the living room,
Max and Liz sat down waiting for Michael and Maria. Max turned and looked at Liz. Liz turned and looked at Max.

"What?" Liz asked.

"What is your problem with me?" Max asked.

"I don't like you and I don't trust you," Liz said.

"What don't you like about me?" Max asked.

"The reason why I don't like you is because you act like a jerk that thinks he knows things," Liz said.

"I'm not a jerk. And I don't act like I know things," Max said.

"Max listen I now you are trying to be nice and all but stop it," Liz said.

"Liz I'm trying to be nice here," Max said.

"Yeah, well don't try so hard next time," Liz said.

"Gee what the hell is your problem with me?" Max said.

"Here I'll make it easy for you I don't like you. I don't know you. And I think of you as a jerk who doesn't know anything about a woman," Liz said before standing up.

Max stands up and grabs Liz's arm. Liz turned and looks at Max. Max and Liz both looked at each other.

"Max you better let go of my arm or you will be sorry," Liz said.

"And what if I don't?" Max asked.

"I say you better," Liz said.

"Fine! I'll let you go. But you need to be nice," Max said.

"I don't have to be nice to you if I don't want to be," Liz said.

Well me and Michael are guest here. So you have to be nice to me," Max said.

"That is what you think Jerk," Liz said.

"What did you say?" Max asked.

"I said you are a jerk," Liz said.

"Oh yeah well you are a pain in the ass," Max said.

"No that would be you," Liz said.

Max grabbed Liz by the arm. Liz turned and looked at Max.

"Max last warning you better let go of my arm or you are going to be sorry," Liz said

"What if I don't?" Max asked.

"This will happen," Liz said before she punched Max.

Max didn't move when Liz punched him. So Liz turned and grabbed the bowl of popcorn and threw it at Max. The bowl hit Max in the face. Max let go of Liz and put his hands to his face. Liz took a step back and looked at Max. Max dropped his hands from his face to his sides and looked at Liz.

Right at that Moment Maria and Michael walked into the living room and saw Max and Liz both looking at each other.

"Hey we got the movies to watch," Maria said.

Michael and Maria stopped at the door way and looked at Max and Liz.

"What is going on?" Michael asked as he looked between Max and Liz.

Chapter 3B
"Nothing. Me and Liz just had a talk is all," Max said.

"What did you both talk about?" Maria asked.

"Nothing. We just got to know each other a little bit," Liz said.

Michael and Maria walked into the living room. They walked up to Liz and Max. Liz and Max turned and looked at Michael and Maria.

"What is really going on?" Michael asked.

"Nothing. So what movies did you get to watch?" Max asked.

"Fine we will play it your way," Maria said.

"We got Skin Walkers, Pizza My Heart, Brave Heart and Enchanted to watch," Michael said.

"Let me guess Michael picked 2 movies and Maria picked 2 movies," Max said.

"How did you guess?" Maria asked.

"Michael likes action movies. Maria I'm guessing you’re into romantic comedy movies. Am I right?" Max asked.

"He is right about the both of us," Michael and Maria said.

"What are we watching first?" Liz asked.

"We decided to watch Skin Walkers first then Pizza My Heart, Brave Heart and Enchanted," Michael said.

Maria turned and noticed the popcorn and bowl on the ground. She turned and looked at Max and Liz.

"Why is the popcorn on the floor?" Maria asked.

"I um grabbed Liz to stop her from falling to the floor," Max said.

"Why would Liz fall?" Michael asked.

"I tripped over his feet and he stopped me from falling," Liz said.

"That was very nice of you Max," Maria said.

"No problem," Max said.

"We better sit down and start watching our movies," Michael said.

Liz sat down on the love seat while Maria and Michael took the couch. Max sat on the chair next to the couch. As Max sat down he turned and looked at Liz turned and looked at Max. They both turned and saw Michael and Maria sitting close together. Max and Liz turned and watched TV. Michael grabbed the DVD remote and press play. As the movie Skin Walker started everyone got comfy. Liz just sat back and watched the movie. Max kept watching the movie and looking at Liz. Liz tired to forget Max was there but there was no such luck. Every time Liz felt Max looking at her she turned and looked t him. She was starting to get mad at Max. Liz stood up and grabbed some popcorn. Then she grabbed her Pepsi and sat down. Max grabbed his drink and chips then he sat down. As the movies were playing Maria and Michael become closer. Max and Liz kept looking at each other then turning away from each other.

Michael and Maria didn't know what to do about Max and Liz but they knew they didn't want to start any trouble with them. So they turned and watched the movie. On the last movie Liz turned and saw Maria and Michael were sleeping. Liz stood up and walked into the kitchen. When Liz walked into the kitchen she walked to the fridge and opened it. She grabbed a can of Pepsi. Liz turned and saw Max standing in front of her. Max and Liz both looked at each other.

"What are you doing in here?" Liz asked.

"I wanted to let you know I'm leaving. Can I leave Michael here since he and Maria are a sleep on the couch?" Max asked.

"Yeah, sure," Liz said

"Well I guess I'll see you around," Max said.

"Yeah, I guess you will," Liz said.

Max and Liz walked out of the kitchen and walked into the living room till they got to the front door. Max turned and looked at Liz. Liz looked at Max.

"I guess I'll talk to you later. If Michael wakes up send him home ok?" Max said.

"Yeah, I'll send him home if he wakes up," Liz said.

"Well see you later," Max said.

"Yeah, see you later," Liz said.

Max opened the door and walked out. Liz watched as Max walked out the door and walked across the street. After Liz saw Max across the street she shut the door and walked into the living room. When she walked into the living room she saw Maria and Michael were still asleep. Liz walked up to the DVD player and turned it off. Liz then turned off the TV. After the TV was off Liz grabbed a blanket and cover Michael and Maria. Liz then walked up the stairs and went to bed. When Liz lay down on her bed she was fast asleep.

In the morning,
Liz was in the kitchen when Max walked in. Liz turned and saw Max standing in front of her. Max and Liz both looked at each other.

"What are you doing here so early?" Liz asked.

"Nice pyjamas. I'm here to get Michael. We need to leave for work or we'll get fired," Max said.

"Oh, um, Michael and Maria are still asleep. And shut up about my pyjamas," Liz said as she closed her night shirt.

"Well do you think I can wake Michael up?" Max asked.

"Yeah, there still on the couch sleeping," Liz said.

"Thanks," Max said as he walked out of the kitchen.

Chapter 3B
Liz set her cup down and walked into the living room. Liz watched as Max walked up to Michael and shocked him awake. Michael opened his eyes and saw Max and Liz looking at him. Michael turned and saw Maria sleeping on his side. Michael turned and looked at Max and Liz.

"What time is it?" Michael asked.

"It's 10am. We need to be at work in 30 minutes. So come on get up. We need to leave or we will be late for work," Max said.

Michael turned and slipped under a sleeping Maria. When he stood up he saw Maria was still a sleep. Michael walked up to Max and Liz. All 3 of them looked at each other.

"Liz will you tell Maria I'll talk to her later?" Michael asked.

"Sure. I guess we'll see you later then," Liz said.

"Yeah I guess we'll see you later," Michael said.

Liz watched as Max and Michael walked out the door. Liz turned and walked into the kitchen and fixed Maria a cup of coffee. After the cup was finished Liz walked up to Maria and put the cup under her nose. Maria woke up when she smelt the coffee. Maria set up and looked at Liz then looked around.

"Where is Michael?" Maria asked.

"Michael and Max left to go to work," Liz said.

"Oh what time is it," Maria asked

"Its 10:30 in the morning," Liz said.

"Oh god I thought it was late," Maria said.

"Maria don't flip out everything is going to be fine," Liz said.

"Yeah, I guess your right. So did Max sty or leave last night?" Maria asked.

"He left after the 3rd movie was over," Liz said.

"Did he say anything before he left?" Maria asked.

"He asked if he would leave Michael here. And after that he left," Liz said.

"Well that was nice of him. I wonder what kind of work Max and Michael do," Maria said.

"If you want to know just ask them. It wouldn't hurt to ask," Liz said.

"Yeah that is true," Maria said.

"I better go and clean up the place before it smells," Liz said.

"Yeah, here let me help you," Maria said.

"Are you sure you don't want to sleep," Liz asked.

"Yeah, I'm sure. So let’s get started," Maria said.

Liz and Maria started to clean. They cleaned the kitchen, living room and bedrooms. After everything was cleaned Liz and Maria went and sat down. Liz turned on the TV and flipped through the channel till she found a movie called The Notebook. Liz and Maria both watched the movie. By the time the movie was over Maria and Liz cried in some tissues.

"So what do we have planned?" Liz asked.

"We need to find some jobs this week," Maria said

"Hopefully we will be able find good jobs," Liz said.

"You know we will," Maria said.

"Yeah, I know. I just hope my father won't find us," Liz said.

"Don't worry he can't find us. All your dad can do is call and check on you," Maria said.

"Let's hope it stays that way. So what job are you going to find?" Liz asked.

"I want to work at an herb store or something like that. What about you?" Maria asked.

"I want a job as a waitress or a bartender somewhere," Liz said.

"Hopefully we will find work and later on maybe 2 jobs," Maria said.

"Maria we need to start a saving account and a checking account when we start a job," Liz said.

"I know we do," Maria said.

"So when do you think we should stat job hunting?" Maria asked.

"I don't know Maria. When do you think will be good," Liz asked.

"How about we start tomorrow?" Maria asked.

"That sounds great to me. We get to have a break before we start," Liz said.

"Liz what do you think of Michael?" Maria asked.

"Why are you asking?" Liz asked.

"Because I like him a lot and I want you to like him," Maria said.

"Maria I like Michael. He is nice and kind. And he helped us moved in. Why are you asking?" Liz asked.

"Because I want to know if just case him and me get together," Maria said.

"Maria he is perfect guy for you. And I think it will be great if you both started to date," Liz said.

"Great. What do you think of Max?" Maria asked as she looked at Liz.

Chapter 4A
"What do you think of Max?" Maria asked.

"Why do you want to know what I think of Max?" Liz asked.

"Because he seems nice and plus he will be here a lot if Michael is here. So what do you think of Max?" Liz asked.

"Do you want the truth?" Liz asked.

"Yes. I want the truth so tell me?" Maria said.

"Max is a jerk who doesn't know anything about a woman. He has a attitude about something. And you can see it when he is around," Liz said.

"Anything else?" Maria asked.

"No that is about it," Liz said.

"God you seem like you can tell that something is going on," Maria said.

"No. with Max he seem distance and a little off. I can tell by the way he acts towards me," Liz said.

"He acts nice to you. I guess that is a good thing," Maria said.

"Sometimes it is good for me and sometimes it is not," Liz said.

"That is understandable," Maria said.

"Thanks Maria," Liz said.

"No problem what are friends for," Maria said.

"Yeah, well we better get cleaned up," Liz said.

Liz walked up the stairs and walked to her room. When she got to her room Liz walked up to the dresser and opened it. Liz grabbed a pair of jeans and walked to the closet and got a light blue short sleeve t-shirt. Liz turned and walked up to the dress er and grabbed her under garment. Liz walked out of her room and walked down the hallway to the bathroom. Liz walked into the bathroom and grabbed two towels. After she got the two towels she shut the door. Liz walked up to the bath tub and turned on the water. Then she turned on the showerhead. As the shower started Liz stepped back and took of her clothes. After she was undressed Liz walked under the water and let it hit her body.

After the shower Liz got dressed and blow dried her hair. Liz walked out of the bathroom. She walked down stairs and walked into the kitchen. When Liz walked into the kitchen she saw Maria on the phone. Maria looked up at Liz. She put her hand over the mouth piece and looked at Liz.

"You’re Dad," Maria whispered.

"Give me the phone," Liz said.

Maria looked at Liz then handed her the phone. Liz put the phone to her ear.

"Hey Dad," Liz said.

"Where are you?" Mr. Parker asked.

"At my new place and where are you?' Liz asked.

"I'm at work. I'm just worried about you," Mr. Parker said.

"Dad me and Maria are fine. Nothing is going on here," Liz said.

"Liz I'm worried about you. Why don't you come home?" Mr. Parker said.

"Dad stop worrying everything is good. I don't think so on coming home," Liz said as she put her dad on speaker phone.

Right at that moment Michael and Max walked into the kitchen.

"Hey Maria," Michael said.

"Who the hell was that?" Mr. Parker asked.

"That was Maria's friend," Liz said.

"Maria's friend is a guy?" Mr. Parker asked.

"Yes dad he is a friend of Maria's. Dad why did you call for?" Liz asked.

"I called you because I am worried about you and I want you to come home," Mr. Parker said.

Liz and Maria both rolled their eyes. They knew what was really going on. Max and Michael watched Maria and Liz then turned and looked at each other. Then turned and looked at Liz and Maria.

"Dad why would you worry about me? You never did when I was home. And you were never home when I was living there. Again why should I?" Liz asked.

"You listen to me if you don't come home. I'll come and find you and drag you and Maria home where you will live the rest of your lives," Mr. Parker said.

"Well dad guess what I have to say about that?" Liz asked.

"And what would that be?" Mr Parker asked.

"This," Liz said before she hanged up the phone.

"Liz who was that?" Max asked.

"That was my father," Liz said.

"Oh, um, he's different," Max said.

"Max don’t ask; I don't want to talk about it ok," Liz said.

"Um, yeah, ok," Max said.

The phone started to ring. Liz and Maria both looked at each other. Max and Michael looked at Liz and Maria.

"Are you going to answer it," Michael asked.

"No. Let the answer machine get it," Liz said.

Right at the moment the answer machine clicked on. A second later they heard.

"Liz you better pick up this phone. If you don't then I'm going to come and find you and Maria and drag both your asses home. No one will stop me from dragging you both home," Mr. Parker said.

Chapter 4B
Then the answer machine clicked off. Liz and Maria looked down then looked up at Max and Michael. Max and Michael looked at Liz.

"So, um, that was your dad?" Max asked.

"Yeah, that was my father," Liz said.

"Can he really take you both back home?" Michael asked.

"We don't know. But we know he will try and find us," Maria said.

"Do you want to go back with your father?" Max asked.

"No. I don't want to go back and I know Maria doesn't want to go either," Liz said.

"Then we'll help you stay," Michael said.

"How? We need to figure out hat to do about Liz's father?" Maria said.

Liz had a smile on her face. She thought of a perfect way to hide from her father and change number and Id.

"I got a plan?" Liz said.

"What?" Maria asked.

"Maria I think we are going to need Al for this," Liz said.

"Who's Al?" Max asked.

"He is a computer genius. He can do anything with a computer and with Ids. You name it and he can do it," Liz said.

"Do you think he can really help us?" Maria asked.

"He's gotta. We need his help," Liz said.

"Michael! Where can you go to change our cell phone numbers and house phone number?" Maria asked.

"Here use my cell phone and call the phone company and the cell phone place. It should be changed by this evening," Michael said.

"Cool. I'll call Al and see what he can do for us," Liz said.

Liz dialled a number and waited for someone to pick up.

"Hello?" A person said.

"Is the Beauty?" Liz asked.

"Yes this Beauty. Who is this?" Beauty asked.

"Beauty it's me Liz. I need to talk to Al. Can you put him on the phone for me?" Liz asked.

"Sure just a minute," Beauty said.

A few seconds later…

"Hello this is Al. How can I help you?" he asked.

"Al this is Liz. We need your help," She said.

"What is going on Liz?" Al asked.

"Well my dad called and is hunting for me and Maria. I was wondering if you can work your magic for us," Liz said.

"Yeah, I'll work my magic. And Liz he called here twice looking for you," Al said.

"Oh god I'm sorry. I hope you and beauty can forgive me?" Liz asked.

"No problem. You’re forgiven. And you know we'll help you both when you need us," Al said.

Yeah, I know. Thanks. Again sorry for my dad. I think whatever is bothering him has to do with work," Liz said.

"Let me guess he is still with the FBI getting all the drug dealers and mob bosses," Al said.

"Yeah he is still doing that," Liz said.

"Well I'll do my magic and send them over to you," Al said.

"Thanks. Al can you check on something for me?" Liz asked.

"Sure just tell me what you need and I will start on it," Al said.

"Just a minute. I need to go to my room for a sec," Liz said as she ran up stairs to her room with the phone.

Liz walked into her room and shut the door. Liz walked up to her bed and sat down.

"Ok. I need you to um make up 2 new ids for 2 guys. It's just in case. You know," Liz said.

"That is understandable. What do they look like?" Al asked.

"Ok. One guy has blackish brown hair, hazel eyes I think he is 5”2. The other guy has brown hair and brown eyes. Think he is also 5”2." Liz said.

"Ok. I'll send them with your when I get finished," Al said.

"Thanks Al. Oh were changing our house number and cell phone numbers. I'll call you with the new numbers when we get them," Liz said.

“Sure. No problem. And I do understand on changing the phone numbers. We are going through the same here too," Al said.

"Why what is going on?" Liz asked.

"Isabel's parents have been calling worried about her brothers. And plus with your dad calling with treats we are all on edge here," Al said.

"That is understandable. How long has it been since she saw her brothers?" Liz asked.

"Let's see they left 3 years ago. She heard from them a year ago. So it has been 2 years since she saw them," Al said.

"Wow that has been a long time," Liz said.

"Yeah, I know. But I better go. I'll send you the things you ask for when I am finished. You will probably get them between tomorrow or in 2 days," Al said.

"Alright I'll call you when I get them," Liz said.

"Ok Bye!" Al said before hanging up the phone.

Liz turned off the phone and walked to her door. When Liz opened the door there stood.

Chapter 5A
When Liz opened the door there stood Max looking at her. They both looked at each other.

"Um, what are you doing up here?" Liz asked.

"Maria sent me up here to get you," Max said.

"Did she?" Liz asked.

"Yeah she wanted to um, know if you were ready to have some fun," Max said.

"I'll be down in a minute," Liz said as she shut the door in Max's face.

Max looked at the door then walked down the hall way and down the stairs. He walked into the living room where Maria and Michael were sitting and waiting for Liz and Max.

"Where is Liz?" Maria asked.

"I'm right here," Liz said as she walked into the living room.

"So did you get everything finished with Al?" Maria asked.

"Yeah, everything is ok with Al," Liz said.

"What are you girls talking about?" Michael asked.

"And why do I have a bad feeling about this?" Max asked.

Liz and Maria looked at each other and then looked at the guys.

"Ok. Michael we are talking about changing few things. Nothing bad so there is nothing to worry about," Maria said.

"Max something tells me you always have a bad feeling about something. So will you guys trust us when we say everything is fine," Liz said.

"Fine! We'll just trust you," Max and Michael said at the same time.

Liz and Maria both smiled thanks. Then they looked at the guys. Max and Michael looked at Liz and Maria.

"So what are we doing?" Liz asked.

"We are going to have a relaxing day," Maria said.

"That sounds good to me," Liz said as she went to sit down.

Max sat down a cross from Liz. Liz looked at Max then turned and looked at the TV. They were watching a movie called Forsaken. As they watched the movie they all started to get comfortable. Maria and Michael sat close together. Max and Liz were at their own sides of the living room watching the movie. After the movie was over Max and Liz both turned and saw Michael and Maria snuggling close together. Liz stood up and walked in the next room. Liz walked up to the DVDS and started to look. Liz picked 4 movies. She turned and saw Max standing in the doorway. Liz walked up to Max. They were both face to face.

What?" Liz asked.

"I was wondering what you were doing?" Max said.

"I was picking some movies to watch. What are you doing?" Liz asked.

"Seeing what you are up to," Max said.

"Well you know what I am up to. So come on let's go in the living room," Liz said.

Max and Liz walked into the living room and saw Michael and Maria kissing. Liz rolled her eyes and Max kept looking around. Max and Liz walked into the living room and up to the DVD player. Liz put a movie called wanted. After the DVD was in Liz press play and walked back to her seat. Max walked to his seat. As the movie started to play they all turned and watched the movie. After the movie was over Liz stood up and walked to the DVD player. Liz put in a movie called Dark light. Liz sat down and pressed play. As they movie played they all turned and watched the movie. Max and Liz kept looking at each other and turning away. Max and Liz kept doing that all through the movies. After they watched all the movies Max and Liz turned and saw that it was 8pm.

Liz stood up and walked out of the living room and walked into the kitchen. Liz went to the freezer and grabbed 3 frozen pizzas. Liz then walked over to the oven and preheated it. When Liz turned she grabbed an extra pepperoni for the pizzas. After Liz put the pepperonis on the pizzas he put them in the oven. Liz set the timer and when she turned she saw Max standing in front of her. Max and Liz both looked at each other.

"What are you doing following me?" Liz asked.

"I just wanted to check on you," Max said.

"You need to stop following me. I live here. And you are a guest in this house. So stop it," Liz said.

"Fine I will. And I'm sorry. God what is wrong with you lately?" Max asked.

"What is wrong with me? You really want to know. Fine I'll tell you. You are getting me mad when you follow me through my house and you keep bugging me. So there," Liz said.

"Fine I'll just leave you alone then. And I am sorry for bugging you," Max said.

"Fine," Liz said.

Right at that moment Max's pager goes off. Max and Liz both looked at each other before Max turns and dialled a phone number into his cell phone. The phone rigs 3 times before someone answers.

"Hello?" the voice said.

"Hey it's Max. What do you need?" Max asked.

"I need you to drop something off at Mac's for me. Can you and Michael be here in 30 minutes?" The voice said.

"Yeah, sure we can be there. See you in 3o minutes," Max said before closing his cell phone.

Max put his cell phone back in his pocket and looks up at Liz. Liz looks at Max.

"I guess I'll talk to you later. Me and Michael gotta go," Max said.

"No you won't talk to me later. You both better go before you’re late," Liz said.

"Yeah your right. Oh and Liz we will talk about this later," Max said.

"No we won't. Bye Max," Liz said.

Chapter 5B
Max looked at Liz then walked out of the kitchen. Max walked in the living room and hit Michael on the arm. Michael looks up and sees Max. Max looked down at Michael.

"What?" Michael asked.

"Michael come on we gotta go. My pager went off," Max said.

"Oh it did," Michael said as he sat up more.

Michael turned and looked at Maria. Maria looked at Michael and Max.

"We gotta go. I'll see you tomorrow," Michael said.

"Call me later ok," Maria said.

"OK," Michael said.

Maria watched as Michael and Max walked out the door. Maria stood up and walked into the kitchen. She saw Liz pulled out the last pizza. Liz tuned and saw Maria. Liz and Maria both looked at each other.

"Are they gone?" Liz asked.

"Yeah they’re gone. I'm wondering though, what kind of job do they have." Maria said.

"Maria I'm wondering the same thing. Maybe one day we will find out," Liz said.

"I'm hopping we find out soon," Maria said.

"Yeah, I know. Don't worry they will tell us when they are ready," Liz said.

"I hope you are right," Maria said.

"Don't worry. We better get cleaned up and clean the living room," Liz said.

"Yeah r better. We need to get up early if we're going to look for jobs tomorrow," Maria said.

"Yeah, that is true," Liz said.

Liz and Maria cleaned up the living room. After they cleaned up the living room they cleaned the kitchen. When they were finished Liz and Maria walked up stairs and went to their rooms. When they got to their rooms they changed clothes and went to their bed and fell fast a sleep.

In the morning,
Liz walked out of the bathroom wearing a black knee length skirt with a white short sleeve t- shirt. Liz had black high heels on. Liz walked down the stairs and walked in the kitchen. When she walked in the kitchen there was Maria. Maria was wearing a black short sleeve dress that was knee length. Maria had a pair of strappy high heels. Maria looked up and saw Liz. They both smiled at each other. Then Maria handed Liz a cup of coffee.

A few minutes later Liz and Maria finished their coffee and walked out the door. They got into Maria's car and drove off. Liz went to 6 clubs and restaurants and put an application in. While Maria put applications in 3 herb stores, 3 Bath and Body works and a Victoria Secret Store. After that was all over with Liz and Maria went home. When they got home they walked into the house and went to change clothes. Liz came down stairs wearing her stretch pants and a t-shirt. Liz walked into the living room and saw Maria wearing a pair of shorts and a long sleeve t-shirt. Liz and Maria sat down and started to watch TV. They then fell asleep whilst the TV was on. They didn't hear when Michael and max walked into the house. Max walked up to Liz and saw that she was a sleep. Max turned and saw Maria was a sleep too.

Max put his hand on Liz's shoulder and that is when he got a fist between his legs. Max fell to the ground as Liz sat up. She looked at Max then turned and looked at Michael and Maria. Michael and Maria turned and looked at Liz then Max.

"Max what are you doing here?" Liz asked as she looked at Max.

"I we came over to see you girls. You and Maria weren’t answering your phone," Max whispered,

"Oh, are you ok?" Liz asked

"What do you think?" Max asked.

"I'll take that as a no. I'm sorry," Liz said.

"Yeah right I bet you wanted to hit me," Max said

"Max I didn't mean to hit you," Liz said.

"Whatever you say," Max said.

"Fine! I did mean to hit you ok," Liz said as she stood up.

""Where are you going?" Max asked.

"Just stay there I'll get you something," Liz said before walking out of the living room.

Max turned and looked at Michael and Maria. Maria and Michel looked at Max.

"Are you ok Max?" Maria asked

"I'll be fine. I can't believe Liz did that to me," Max said.

"Well we both took some classes on self defence. Sorry we forgot to tell you," Maria said.

"Well next time I'll remember that," Max said.

"You'll remember what?" Liz asked as she walked up to Max.

"I'll remember to never wake you up like I did," Max said.

"Well I think that might be safer for you," Liz said as she handed Max an ice pack.

"Yeah, well," Max said as he put the ice pack between his legs.

"Are you both supposed to be at work?" Maria asked.

"No we're off for the day," Michael said.

"What are you both doing here?" Liz asked as he looked between Max and Michael.

Chapter 6A
"We came to check on you. Well I left you a message on your cell phone. And you didn't call me back. So I got kinda worried," Michael said.

"Aww how sweet of you, we’re fine. We just fell asleep after things we had to do," Maria said.

"What things did you both have to do?" Max asked.

"If you must know me and Maria put some applications in some places today," Liz said.

"You’re both looking for jobs why?" Michael asked.

"We need to find jobs if we want to keep the house," Maria said.

"Wait are you renting this place?" Max asked.

"Yes we are renting this house. But we need to get jobs if we want food, water, lights and everything else," Liz said.

"How much is it to rent this house?" Max asked.

"We pay $300.00 a month," Liz said as she looked at Max.

"Wow that seems like a lot of money," Michael said.

"Well that is how much we need to pay to live here," Maria said.

"Question what are we going to do?" Liz asked.

"About what?" Maria asked.

"My father, he is going to do whatever it takes to find us," Liz said.

"Why is your father looking for you and Maria?" Michael asked.

"Here is the deal my father and I got into a fight. We tried and talk. It didn't work out and I moved out. We never told him where we are. He only has our cell phone numbers. He checks on us a lot," Liz said.

"Wow you dad seems very protective of you," Max said.

"He is. And we argue a lot. And when we argue I leave and come back in the morning. This time I moved out for good," Liz said.

"So basically he wants you home where your guarded 24/7 right?" Michael asked.

"Right! To him moving out is not a way to solve things," Liz said.

"Boy I would hate to have your dad," Max said.

"Gee thanks. Oh by the way how do you feel?" Liz asked.

"Fine! I can't believe you did that," Max said.

"Well here is something you should know. I don't like to be grabbed or touched. And if you get me mad you'll be on your knees aging," Liz said.

"Thanks for the warning. I will never touch you again," Max said.

"Not without asking," Liz said.

"I'll be right back I need to get me a drink," Max said.

"I'll go with you. I need to check the answer machine," Liz said as she stood up.

Max and Liz walked into the kitchen. Max grabbed a cup and walked to the sink. He turned on the water and let the cup fill up. After the cup was full of water Max turned off the water and turned and looked at Liz. Liz pushed the play button to the answer machine. Liz listened to all the message the last message was Liz got a waitress/ singer at a club called Stars. They want her to start tomorrow at 12pm. After listening to the message Liz walked out of the kitchen and walked into the living room.

When Liz walked into the living room Maria and Michael turned and saw Liz with a smile on her face.

"Liz what are you smiling about?" Maria asked

"We got jobs. They want us to start tomorrow at noon," Liz said.

"Who was it that called for me?" Maria asked

"Bath and Body works called for you. You need to go in at noon tomorrow to find out what you will be doing," Liz said.

"Wow that is great. What about you?" Maria asked.

"I got a waitress /singer at a club called Stars. I need to be in a t noon also," Liz said.

"This is so great. We both got jobs," Maria said.

"When you both get your time sheet let me know when you’re off and we can have movie night at our house," Michael said.

"Now that sounds like a plan," Maria said.

"What sounds like a plan?" Max asked as he walked into the living room.

"Oh Michael said when we get our time sheets we should find out what day we have off and have a movie night at your house," Liz said.

"That was nice of you," Max said with a frown look on his face.

"You don't seem happy about it," Liz said.

"Well um you never know what could be going on at that time," Max said.

"Yeah, sure keep tell yourself that," Liz said.

"Will you both try and be nice to each other?" Maria asked

"Fine I'll try," Liz said.

"Fine! I will also try," Max said.

"Good. Now can we try and relax a little," Maria said.

"Yeah, let's try and relax," Liz said.

"So what are we going to do?" Michael asked.

"Hey what time is it anyway?" Liz asked.

Max and Michael looked at their watches and saw that it was 9pm.

"It's 9pm. What time do you girls need to leave for work tomorrow?" Max asked.

"We need to leave here at 11am. Why?" Liz asked.

"We better go see you go so you girls can get some sleep. See you hopefully tomorrow," Michael said.

"Yeah hopefully," Maria said.

"Bye!" Liz said before walking up the stairs. Maria looked at Liz then turned and looked at Max and Michael.

"See you tomorrow," Michael said before him and Max left.

Maria walked Max and Michael to the door. She watched as they walked out the door. Maria watched them walk across the street to their house. She watched them walk into their house. Maria turned and shut the door. Maria walked up the stairs and knocked on Liz's door.

"Come in" Liz yelled.

Maria walked into Liz's room. Liz and Maria both looked at each other.

"Liz what is going on with you?" Maria asked

"Nothing. I think I'm just tired is all," Liz said.

"Ok. I'll see you in the morning. Hopefully we will find a job tomorrow," Maria said.

"Maria we already got the jobs. We start tomorrow," Liz said.

"Oh, yeah, I forgot about that. See you in the morning," Maria said.

"Ok. See you in the morning," Liz said.

"Liz lay down as Maria shut the door. Maria walked down the hallway to her room and shut the door. She changed clothes and went to bed.

In The Morning,
Liz woke up and sat up. She walked to the closet and opened it. When the closet was opened Liz started to look for something to wear. A few seconds later Liz found a knee length black skirt with a black button down shirt. After Liz got her clothes she walked to the dresser and grabbed her undergarment. After Liz grabbed her undergarment she walked out the door and walked down the hall to the bathroom.

When Liz got to the bathroom she grabbed 2 towels and shut the door. After the door was shut Liz walked up to the bathtub and turned on the water. Liz stepped back and took off her clothes. After Liz was undressed she walked up to the bathtub and tapped shower. Liz walked under the water. A few minutes later Liz was out of the shower. Liz got dressed. After she was dressed she fixed her hair and put on some make up. Liz walked out of the bathroom and walked down the stairs and walked into the kitchen. When Liz walked in the kitchen she saw.
