It's finals week, which means I'm sleep-deprived. I also found out this week that I have sleep apnea, which means that I have pauses in my breathing while I sleep, so my body has to wake itself up so I start breathing again, which is why I've been constantly tired for the past 5 years.

My roommate seems to think that her relationship is the most important thing in the world, so she's really snappy at anyone who tries to give her advice and she won't listen to people, me included, when they try to smack some perspective into her.

I haven't had a chance to work on my fic.

I'm not getting that many hours at work, which sucks because that means I don't get paid.

I need new friends. Not that I don't love the ones I have. They're loyal, good friends. But it would be nice to meet some new people.

I don't have much to complain about right now, except that I'm kind of stressing about whether or not to get an apartment next year. My current roommate wants to move off-campus, but I love living on-campus. Oh, decisions, decisions.

i wasn't complaining much today. but i was definitely peeved off yesterday. My sister has a habit of borrowing things but not put things back. She leaves her rubbish in the bathroom... i could go on. LOL ^^

Oh, here we go.

I just found out today that my 46 year-old mother is engaged. Which is fine. Congrats for her. But I can't help but feel selfish about it. My whole life is going to change. Now all of a sudden I'm going to have a father figure (a stepfather) for the first time in my life and stepsiblings (as an only child, this is a lot to adjust to.) Plus, the house that I grew up in and still live in somewhat will no longer be our house, because my mom will move in with her new hubby. I've spent 21 years of my life never expecting this to happen, and now it does happen. I'm happy for her, because everyone deserves to fall in love and get married, but . . . it's just weird.

And granted, I'm engaged, too, but I've been engaged for years and will probably continue to be engaged for years.

Oh, I'll be posting on this thread frequently, I believe.

Aaargh! The sun wasn't even out yesterday and I managed to get burnt! Damn you fair skin! Why am I so white? I won't even tan from this, I'll peel and probably get freckles. I have four different colours, red, pink, white and glow-in-the-dark. Right now I'm the colour of a tomato.
