Roswell Underground site?????

I've recently noticed that Roswell Underground seems to have disappeared.
It is the home of the Roswell Elementary series, among many other great classic fics.

Does anyone know if the site is gone for good?
Are all the fics lost?

The site is gone for good, and can only be accessed by the web archive site. The owners were not interested in anyone else trying to salvage the site either, which is incredibly disappointing to say the least. I've toyed with the idea of trying to save it anyway (whatever can be salvaged) and put up some kind of mirror, in the interests of not losing any more fics from the fandom.

That's a good idea. I'm sure the authors of the fics which were archived there would like to have them archived on another site. Sometimes, authors themselves have lost their fics and can only find them on sites.

I tried the link provided above by chanks_girl (THANK YOU ) just a bit ago and found that it currently seems to be at least partially working. It took me to what looked like the Roswell Underground home page for the archive, and when I tried the hyperlinks for "Area 51 (Section I)", "Area 51 (Section II)", "Area 51 (Section III)", "Area 51 (Section IV)", and "Mr. Raddish's Desk", those links all seemed to be working right now. But sadly, the hyperlink for "Roswell Elementary" is NOT currently working. I really would have liked to have read that series of fics, as I understand it was/is quite something to read. Hopefully it will be able to be archived there eventually on the web.archive.org site. :fingers crossed:

Okay, so I just wanted to add a little note to say I'd been back to visit the RU Archive, and I was now able to access most (but not quite all) of the fics I wanted to read - INCLUDING the Roswell Elementary series. So at least now - for the most part - the old Roswell Underground fics can be viewed at the new link chanks_girl provided.

Well, in the event the site is down again, I have on my HD all the Elementary Roswell stories, in case anyone wants to read them. It was quite a challenge to archive those stories when they were being first posted, that's for sure!
