How was your day?

I thought this would be an interesting topic. Just tell us how your day was.

My day was okay as far as Saturdays go, if not a little boring. My wife is in Chicago this weekend so it’s just me, our son Mikey, and our three dogs. I woke up. Went back to sleep. Woke back up. Fed Mikey. Let the dogs out for a while. Spent about ten minutes trying to get them back in cuz they like to play in the snow. Tried to go back to sleep. Couldn’t. Took Mikey to visit my mom and dad. Played a little 360 with my lil sis. Took her to Boarders where we spent like three hours. Talked to Mack. Went to dinner with my parents and sister. Came back home. Called Mack. Gave Mikey and the dogs a bath (not at the same time of course) checked some emails. Screwed around on the computer for a little bit, and called Mack.

It’s now 10:20 pm. Mikey’s asleep. The dogs are asleep. And as you can tell, I am once again, screwing around on the computer.

And that was my day.

So how was yours?

Woke up ate breakfast. Worked on my stories a bit. Went shopping with my mom and younger sister then we ate at an awesome Mexican place. Now it is 8:27pm on the west coast. Still working on my stories hoping to post a chapter for both tonight. Cowboys just won their first playoff game in a while!!!!!!! Yes, from the San Francisco Bay Area but am a Cowboys fan!!!!! So happy!!!!!!!!

I like this topic, so - here's how I spent my day:


Woke up at 11 AM. Came into the living and turned my computer on; while it booted, went to the kitchen to make coffee then came back into the living and played on the computer for a bit. Went back into the kitchen to drink my coffee and brought it back to the living room and the computer. Went to the bathroom then to take a shower and then went to make myself breakfast. Took breakfast to the living room and played for a bit on the computer. Turned off the computer and watched a movie - Public Enemies. Took a nap on the couch. Woke up and turned computer back on. Turned computer off and turned TV back on and saw another movie - Watchmen. Turned TV and now I'm back on the computer.

It is now 11:34 pm and I'll be heading off soon to get some more sleep, as that afternoon nap did nothing for me.

Pretty boring.

Woke up at about 11... watched my brother play playstation for a bit, then I played for a bit.

Oh yeah, I watched my brother run into the front door alcove where all the flies in the area seem to hang out, armed only with a can of mortein and a girly scream. That might have been the highlight of my day.

Then I went for a swim in our pool because it's 34 degrees C or 93 degrees F.

And now I'm watching a terrible dance movie while Dad snores on the couch.

...now I'm back on the computer.

Australia. More specifically near Melbourne in Victoria. It's summer here, so we've had hot weather for a while now.

Oh yeah, lucky me. Bushfires, flies, sweat and sunburn.

I wish it was snowing. I love cold weather.

Though it is rather lovely where I am. I live just out of town on some land with my horses and it's fairly pretty.
