How did you come up with your username?

I didn't see a thread like this - so I thought I'd start one.

Some of the username's on this board are so unusual, it got me curious.

Is there a story behind your username? How did you think of it? Did you try a different name that was already taken?

My username - trulov - actually came from a line from my favorite movie "The Princess Bride"

Death can't stop true love...all it can do is delay it awhile.

The spelling came from necessity.

Anybody else want to share?

O.k. My name Earth2Mama comes from my frustration with my mother and her trying to dictate how I should live my life. I wouldn't say we're strangers, but we're not exactly close either. She's totally religious and it seems every conversation I have with her lately, she's wanting me to go to church. It's not that I'm not religious or don't believe in God. I do believe in God, just not religion. Too many rules - do this and not that and the lord will praise you and shine his holy light on you ... WHATEVER! So not me. Never have been one to follow rules, never will be. I like to do my own thing.

Anyway, we got into a heated argument about it several years ago, and I just completely lost it on her. I think I said something along the lines of - Hello? Earth to Mother? Ground Control to Major Bitch, over ... I'm never going to go to church and be a devout and religious person, so just drop it and get off my back!

So, yeah that's how I came up with my name. At first it was Earth2Mother (which is still my name on some boards and on my various email address), but for some reason ... I decided to be called Earth2Mama here.

I don't discuss religion ... it's like politics - just a subject never to be discussed. Taboo.

Okay why not, I'm bored.

Okay so my story starts out long before I was born. It actually starts with my Great Grandma, who had three girls. So because of this the family name was not handed down to the next generation. When I was born someone got a stick up their butt and decided that this name needed to be carried on to me. I have no idea what made me special. I am not a first born, not technically anyways, and all but two of my cousins are older. My mom was like um no there's no way in hell I'm naming my daughter that. So my name then was suppose to be Angela Marie. Then Valentine's Day hit and I graced the world, anyone wanna guess what my great grandma's last name is, yup that would be Valentine. So I was born Angela Valentine. And minus one birthday all the best things happen to me on that day, so yeah it's like I'm fated to it. So there you go my long long long boring story.
