What I Couldn't Believe

I have been a fanatic just recently, and the biggest let down getting into the series was that Alex died!
I just couldn't stand the fact that Isabelle married Jesse because it didnt make any sense.... does anyone know if Colin Hanks wanted out of the show? I mean i didnt think so since he was in Season 3... And the fact that Isabelle/Izzy (Greys) and her long lost dead lovers... (no wonder she wanted out of Greys) SCARY

I really like the whole Isabelle/Alex story line, and wished it went further

Colin Hanks was MIA sometimes during Season 2 because of his filming schedule for Orange County. It's my understanding that he wanted out of the show to pursue movies.

Colin Hanks was MIA sometimes during Season 2 because of his filming schedule for Orange County. It's my understanding that he wanted out of the show to pursue movies.

Really? I thought the reason was because he went to the higher ups and wanted to continue on the show, but also pursue other outside projects (i.e. films). This didn't sit too well, as the shooting schedules of films conflicted with the shooting schedule of the show, so instead - they opted to let him go.


At least that was my understanding - I'll have to double check with my old contact about that.

Colin had several projects going on like Orange County and Band of Brothers. He wanted to continue being on the show and hoped that the producers would find a way to keep him around while also working on his movie career.

Unfortunately, the producers weren't happy with that solution.It would have been difficult to keep Colin's character in a storyline (I don't know which they might have meant in S2) and let Colin work on a movie career; so Colin had/decided to leave.
