Michael and Maria had walked to the ship.
"Father? what are you doing here?"
"Ah, Jeffrey, I think we can settle one of those things we've discussed right now."
"Yes, I believe we can. Michael, we have been discussing your wish to marry Maria. I'm afraid that you wont be able to marry her in two years."
"WHAT?! WHY THE HELL NOT?!"
Michael pulled Maria behind him, or at least tried to.
"Daddy?"
To Michael at that moment her voice sounded weak but the look in her eyes was predicting a storm."
"Now, Maria honey, you can't marry him in two years....."
"WHY NOT?!"
"Because he's going to be married by then."
"I WILL NOT MARRY ANYBODY BUT MARIA!!"
"Son, will you calm down for a minute."
"CALM DOWN? CALM DOWN? ARE YOU NUTS?"
"Michael I wont tolerate that kind of langue."
In the whole yelling match non of them had seen Liz and Max arrive.
"YOU, YOU....."
"MICHAEL SHUT UP, YOUR GIVING ME A HEADACHE!"
"LIZZIE, YOU HAVE TO...."
"SSSSHHHH"
"Lizzie, they....."
Liz quieted him when she saw that her father was desperate to try and tell something. The other man was faster than him.
"Well it's good to know that he has such strong feelings for my daughter."
"Then why wont you let us marry, daddy?"
"Because you never let us finish."
"huh?"
"Like we where trying to say earlier, the both of us don't want you to be miserable for the next two years and thought that you might wanted to get married sooner but....."
"Really, thank you daddy."
Maria hugged her father before he could finish that but.
"Son?"
"Thanks dad, I'm sorry about ...."
"It's alright. But between you and me I think it would be wise not to yell around your sister anymore. She get's scary."
"Your telling me."
Michael hugged his sister to him.
"So when's the wedding?"
"Me and Jeffrey thought if my darling daughter would agree to a small wedding, by the end of the week."
Michael looked at Maria.
"No, not the end of the week."
Liz hugged her brother closer when she saw his face, the broken look on his face but that look changed quickly when Maria continued.
"I would rather marry tomorrow."
"Really?"
"You didn't think you could get rid of me now did you?"
"You scared me for a minute."
"I'm sorry."
"I love you."
"I love you too."
"Maxwell son can I have a word with you?"
"Yes father."
"Over there"
"What's wrong father?"
"Jeffrey, want to ask you something, but I just want to say to you what ever you decide it will be fine by me."
"Alright."
"JEFFREY!"
"Yes?"
"You can have that conversation you wanted with my son now."
"Thanks, Maxwell can I see you in my quarters for a moment?"
"Ofcours."
"Maxwell, have you ever considered a life on sea?"
"Yeah."
"I want to offer you a place on this ship."
"Really?"
"Yes, I understand it if you feel the need to think about it."
"I'll definitely think about it."
"You'll let me know? The ship set's sail in a week."
"I'll let you know."
"Thank you."
"So what did my father wanted to talk to you about?"
"Well Michael he offered me a place on the ship if I wanted it."
"Well bro?"
"I don't know yet sis."
"It would be perfect Max, please"
"I don't know yet Ria."
"Alright let's change the subject, there is this party at my aunts. What do you say Michael want to escort me?"
"Always my love."
"Um, Liz, would you like to come to?"
"I don't want to intrude."
"You wouldn't, you could perhaps come as my date?"
"I would like that."

Part 9
It was late that night when the four got to the ship.
"I had fun tonight Max."
"Me to. So how do you like life on sea?"
"It's fun, I mean I have a great time. But the again it could also be because I'm still getting to know my father and my brother."
"Oh."
"Do you want to come on board?"
"Sure."
Max walked on the ship and looked around.
Destiny walked to Liz and crawled on her.
"Hey destiny."
The monkey curled his tail around her neck.
"Where's faith?"
The monkey jumped of, of her and ran inside.
Max and Liz followed. Faith was in Liz her room sleeping in her cage.
"So, this is your room?"
"Yeah."
"It's nice. Max, are you going to join us on the ship?"
"I don't know, it's a big decision. I'm thinking about it. Why?"
"Because I think it would be fun."
"Fun?"
"Yeah, your nice and fun to hang out with."
"umh, I have to go, it's getting late."
"Oh"
Max looked at Liz she was looking at the floor.
"Are you doing something tomorrow?"
"No, why?"
"Would you give me the honour of escorting you to a lunch?"
"I would love to."
"I'll see you tommorow then."
He softly kissed her hand and left.
Later that night Max and Maria

"I cant believe it, I'm getting married."
"I know Ria."
"What's wrong brother?"
"Nothing."
"Max."
"I like Liz."
"You like Liz?"
"Yes. What am I going to do?"
"You could go with me on the ship."
"But what if she doesn't feel the same? Then what am I going to do?"
"What if she does like you."
"Do you think I should take the change?
At the same time Liz and Michael.

"Mike, I think I like him."
"Who?"
"Max."
"What!"
"Mike, he's amazing. He's fun. He's everything I ever wanted in a guy."
"You like Max?"
"Mike, do you think he feels the same?"
"I don't know sis."
"I .... I hope so."
"Sis, what do you want from him?"
"The same thing Maria wants from you."
"You want to marry him."
"Yes."
"God sis."
"I know, what am I going to do Mike?"
"I don't know baby sis. We're pirates like it or not. Not every man wans to marry the daughter of a pirate you know."
"does Maria know about us being pirates?"
"No, I'm going to tell her before the wedding."
"Oh."
"Yeah, I would appreciate it if you where there then."
"Don’t worry bro, I'll be there."
Next day before the wedding.

"Ria, can we talk for a second?"
"Michael Tyrath Thomason, you can not come in here. Your not supposed to see me before the wedding."
"Ria, are you alone?"
"Yes."
"Open the door a bit so we can talk."
"Fine."
Maria opened the door slightly.
"Maria, I'm not exactly a normal man. And before we marry there's something you have to know. Something that might change your mind about marring me."
"What is it Michael?"
"I'm a pirate."
"What?!"
"I'm a pirate. Maria, do you think you can live with that? Do you think you can love me even if I'm a pirate?"
"I...I...I need to think."
"I understand."
Michael walked away from the door.
Liz walked towards Maria's room.
"Maria?"
"Yes?"
"Can I come in?"
"Yes."
Maria opened the door and let Liz in.
Liz looked at Maria and saw that she had been crying.
"He told you didn't he?"
"Yes."
"Maria, he loves you. If he didn't he would have waited till you two where married to tell you."
"I don't know."
"Maria, as much as it kills him he's giving you the chance to back out. To leave him."
"I don't want to leave him. Why didn't he tell me before?"
"Because it's not something you can go around and say."
"But he could have told me."
"Maria, do you love my brother?"
"Yes."
"Then does his job really matters?"
"I guess not."
"Then let's get you married we're already late and by now I think my brother is starting to think that you won't show."
Maria grabbed Liz her arm and dragged her behind her.
The day after the wedding after dark

"You know, your brother was nervous when Ria took her time to get to him."
"I know."
"I was worried when hey me you know?"
"Why?"
"Well Michael is two years older then her."
"You thought he would take advantage of her."
"Yes."
"Max."
"But ones I got to know him I felt better."
"Why?"
"Because I could tell that Ria could kick his ass if he stepped out of line."
"True."
Max looked at her they where alone on the deck of her fathers ship.
Thinking that he should take a chance he leaned in a captured her lips in a sweet kiss.
When he pulled away he looked into her shocked face.
"I'm sorry."
He tried to move away from her but she grabbed his face and kissed him.
"Liz?"
"Yes?"
"I really like you."
"That's good cause I like you to."
"I think I'm going to join your fathers crew."
"That would be a great idée."
They both leaned towards each other and kissed again.
It's now one year after Michael and Maria got married, after a week on sea Max was told the truth about who they where.
"Ship straight a head!"
The crew assembled on deck.
"Captain it's a royal ship!"
"Man prepare yourself. Max watch out for her."
"Yes captain."
Max pulled his girlfriend of a year next to him.
"He always does this. I can fight better then most of the men here but still he tells you to protect me."
"Honey, I'll always protect you."
"I know, but I don't have to like it."
"I know."
The men prepared on the deck to take over the ship.
The came up beside the royal ship.
They didn’t' expect to find a whole army waiting for them.
The royal ship was filled with Pirates.
Jeffrey looked in shock as he looked at there commander on the deck of the ship stood his old rival Nickolas and next to him stood Daniel.
They fought and both ships where left in poor condition. When suddenly Nickolas gave the orders to pull away.
"Dad, why did he just give up?"
"I don't know. Where's your sister?"
"I'll look for her. Dad, check up on Maria for me."
"I will."

Part 10
"DAD, I CAN'T FIND LIZ OR MAX!"
"MICHAEL."
Michael ran to his father and looked at Maria who was laying unconscious in his father's arms.
"She was stabbed. Get me some clean sheets so I can stop the bleeding."
"He has Liz and Max."
Michael grabbed the sheets and helped his father take care of his wife.
"Can you finish up?"
"Yes dad."
"I'm going to go after them."
Two weeks later

"Captain, I see a ship."
"Is it Nicholas?"
"Could be."
Jeffrey turned to his son.
"You ready?"
"Yes."
Father and son got into a small boat and rowed to the ship.
They crawled aboard and started looking for Liz and Max.
They got below deck.
In a small room was Max cuffed at the wall and Liz her hands where bound.
In front of Liz stood Daniel.
"So have you changed your mind yet?"
"Have you killed yourself yet?"
"Nice little Lizzie, you do know that you won't get any food until you submit yourself to me."
"I will die first."
"No, you won't, but he will."
Daniel looked at Max while he said it.
Max shirt was ripped in peaches and whip marks where visual on his chest.
"You keep your hands of him."
Daniel was about to respond when he felt a sword in his back.
"I would swallow those words if I where you."
Jeffrey pushed Daniel against the wall and put his sword to his throat.
Michael was cutting thru the rope that bounded Liz her hands.
"Max."
"Dad, check if he has any keys."
Jeffrey checked Daniels pockets and tossed the key to Michael.
"Liz, you unchain him and I'll catch him."
Liz took the key from him and unchanged Max who fell limp into Michaels arms.
Jeffrey looked at Daniel.
"I have only one regret and that is that I didn't kill you before."
After saying that Jeffrey slit Daniels throat.
Jeffrey picked up Max and carried him out Michael was walking in front of him with Liz next to him.
Back on the deck Jeffrey tied a rope around Max and while Michael let himself down into the boat he slowly lowered Max towards the boat where Michael took him over and untied him.
Liz and Jeffrey got into the boat then.
Liz moved next to Max and pulled his head into her lap.
Back on Jeffrey's ship

Maria was pacing the deck.
"What's taking them so long?"
Michael and Jeffrey where pulling the boat back up and helped Liz pull Max out.
"Put him in my room."
"Elisabeth."
"Please daddy."
"Fine."
Liz and Max where left in Liz her room and Michael went to look for Maria.
Liz her room.

Liz got on the bed and pulled Max his head back into her lap.
She looked down at him and then started to take of the peaces of shirt.
She flinched when she saw the deep wounds the whip at left on his skin.
She heard a knock on her door and a cabin boy came in with a bowl of water and some bandages.
"Is there anything else I can bring you?"
"Can you get me some food and wine?"
"Yes miss, I'll bring them in a second."
"Thanks."
The boy left and she soaked a cloth into the bowl and started to clean the wounds.
By the time the boy returned she had finished cleaning the wounds and was about to bandages them.
"Put the food and the wine over there and give me a hand."
"What do you want me to do?"
"Hold him up so that I can do the bandages."
"Yes miss."
He got on the bed and pulled Max up while Liz put the bandages on him.
"Thank you."
"Your welcome miss."
Liz pulled Max back into her arms.
She took the food and started to eat while keeping her eye on Max.
Three hours later Max started to wake up.
"Max, honey?"
"Lizzie?"
"Yes, I'm here."
"Where are we?"
"Back at my fathers ship, in my room."
"How...?"
"Dad and Michael came to get us."
"Really?"
"Yes. I'm going to get you some food."
"NO, don't go."
"Sssh, it's o.k. You want some wine? I've got some wine."
"Yeah, wine is good."
She grabbed her glass and softly pulled him into a sitting position.
"Here drink."
She slipped out of the bed and walked to the door.
"Where are you going?"
"Nowhere, I'm going to call someone over."
She opened the door and ask one of her fathers men to send the cabin boy to her room.
Five minutes later the boy arrived and Liz told him to get more food.

Part 11
Three weeks later Max was finally starting to let Liz leave his side. He still clung to her at every moment possible. Jeffrey had tried to get Max to sleep in his own room but Liz wouldn't allow it, knowing how much he needed her at the time.
They where standing on deck Max had his arms around Liz and they where watching the sunset.
"Liz?"
"Yes Max."
"The next time we dock."
"Yes?"
He let go of her and kneeled in front of her.
"Will you do me the honour of becoming my wife?"
"Yes."
He picked her up and kissed her.
Jeffrey looked at the two on deck and then at his daughter in law that came to stand beside him.
"He really loves her, doesn't he?"
"Yes, my brother fell in love with her the minute he saw her."
"How am I going to let her go?"
"I don't think your going to have to do that."
"What do you mean?"
"They both love he life on sea, I don't think there going to want to settle for a life on land."
"Maybe, but she won't be my little girl anymore."
"Captain, just like I'll always be my dad's little girl, she'll always be yours. Nothing can take that away from you."
"You think?"
"Yes."
"My son is lucky that he married such a smart woman."
"Thank you captain. But if I may give you an advice."
"Yes."
"Don't be to hard on Max when he come's to ask you. She might not like that very much."
"You think?"
"Captain, he was tortured, his biggest fear is if something happens to Liz. I don't think that either one could stand it if you give them an hard time."
The next day Liz and Max made there way to her fathers room.
"Daddy, you here?"
"Yes baby."
"Captain, I would like the permission to marry your daughter."
Jeffrey looked at the way the two of them where hanging on to each other like they where each others lifeline.
"Max, as long as you wait until we get to Liz her home town you get my permission to marry her, but she has to want to marry you to."
Liz hugged her father whispering thank you's in his ear.
"Daddy? When are we going to my birth town?"
"In three months."
"O.k."
The two left the room.
Three months later the two of them where wedded.
The end
Epilogue
One year after there wedding Liz and Maria both found out that they where pregnant.
When they where six months pregnant Nicholas showed up again.
He tried to take the girls but Jeffrey gave his life to protect them.
He was buried next to Michael and Liz there mother.
Michael took over the command of the Galaxy and set sail after Nicholas.
When hey found him Michael and Max captured him and strung him from the mast.
His neck didn't brake and they watched him suffocate.
After he was death he was thrown overboard with a large stone around his neck.
Max and Michael watched him sink to the bottom of the ocean.
The girls where almost nine months along when there was a stormy night.
"Max, I don't feel so well."
Max crawled in bed next to his pregnant wife and pulled her against him.
"Breath honey just breath, you'll feel better."
"Max, I think my water just broke."
"What? What do I do?"
"Help me sit up a bit. You're going to have to help me bring this child to the world."
After a rough night Liz brought a beautiful little girl to the world.
Max looked down at his daughter.
"Liz, what do you think of Amelia?"
"Amelia."
"Yeah, we could call her Lea for short."
"I like it."
What the two of hem didn't know was that at the same time that little Lea was born Maria had brought her son to the world.
Michael was running on deck towards Max.
"Maria gave birth last night, his name is Jeffrey."
"So did Liz, we named her Amelia."
Both couples lived happily together on the ship raising there kids.
