I was coming to post this same news! What a sweet name! I haven't heard of "Bouader" before...I wonder how that's pronounced and what it means? "Natalie' is one of my favorite names. Ten bucks says a whole bunch of fic babies born to Max and Liz will be named "Natalie"!

I don't know what Bouader means, but I know it's Shiri's mom's
maiden name. And isn't Natalia her character's name on Girls?

The article mentions 'a hint' from Girls.

Maybe her guest spot on Girls was a hint—that she didn't even know she was giving.

Actress Shiri Appleby and restaurateur fiancé Jon Shook—both of whom agreed to wait until the baby was born to find out the sex—welcomed a daughter on Saturday, the actress's rep confirmed to E! News.

"Natalie Bouader Shook came into this world Saturday, March 23, at 5 p.m. sharp, weighing in at 6 pounds 12 ounces, length 20.5 inches, with big brown eyes and a full head of hair," the couple said. "She's already made her parents proud."

It's quite a coincidence how it all worked out.

Shiri's current appearance on a show titled Girls, and her character's
name is transferred on as her newborn daughter's name.

That would be an interesting story to tell her, when she's all grown-up.
